Arrival Of Shrieks

An image was talking to you
in your mind.
There were fudged voices
of foot soldiers of half-gods.

I was scared of synthetic leaves
and black stars.
It was a most explicit blood dance
baring-all, the hiss of cones.

You wanted to define yourself
by overexposing the bisexual
stain. Celibacy was
unleaping in shadow.

The blessings will not wait.
You stay in coma after the haemorrhage.
The bloodbath will find the answer
in fever of sheer size.

Half A Woman, Half A Shadow

Daylight is breaking again. I hide in the dark. Im watching the rain. youre out of touch. youre out of reach. what can I say, I never wanted it this way.
Love sleeps all alone. the cold telephone, I know the heart. yes, I know the kind. the kisses of fire, turning to grey. I never wanted it this way. I always wanted you to stay.
Wash my pain away, cause Im half a woman, half a shadow.
Love always change with the trees, the spring and the leaves, the waves on the sea. wilder than light the wind in your eyes led me astray. I never wanted it this way. I always wanted you to stay
Oh I need you, yes I need you. give me a reason to believe.

(Indifference Poem) Blood Stain On My Conscience

Your nothing but a but blood stain on my conscience.
Get angry
and send your messenger.
A non existent threat.
How much you want to bet.
Your still a cheating fool
still a cheating fool.

Your nothing but a blood stain on my conscience.
I still remember the way back when.
How could I ever forget.
I took you in as my own blood.
You were a mere child.
Now you claim to be a man.
Yet you do not take a stand.
How is it
that you create so much hate.
Ripping
and tearing at every ones insides.
Twisting
and manipulating.

Your nothing but a blood stain on my conscience.
Walk in my shadow
because I'm already gone.
What is done
is done.
War of words.
Sounds quite absurd.
But let me tell you they can hurt.
They can destroy.
Good or bad
doesn't matter in my world.
Again I'm on the edge
looking into pure blackness.
Jump with foolishness.
Sorry but I won't.

Your nothing but a blood stain on my conscience.

Hay Fever

Sitting by my stereo all alone
My baby calls me on the telephone
She says, baby take me out for a dance
I tell my baby I feel so bad
I cant go out and its making me sad
But when you see me, I know you will understand
I got hay fever, blocking up my head
Hay fever, I ought to be in bed
How can I dance when I can hardly breathe
Wish I could cure this infernal allergy
I got, hay fever blocking up my brain
Hay fever, feel the sinus pains
And all the pills and the powders are in vain
Thought I was cured but here it comes again
It goes ooh-ah
The pollen counts getting higher and higher
My eyes are sore and my nose is on fire
My throats dry now and Im starting to perspire
My stuffed up heads killing all of my desire
I got hay fever, you wicked allergy,
Hay fever, you put the curse on me
And Ive inhaled every know remedy
I cant stay cool cos Im starting to sneeze
I cant make love when I cant hardly breathe
We start to dance and my nose starts to bleed
There must be a cure for this hay fever
Is there a pill or a powder I can take
I must get a cure, for my romance is at stake
Hey fever, you tore my image down
Hey fever, I must look like a clown
I must have used every tissue in town
Im running round sniffin like a hound
It goes ooh-ah
I wanna kiss but Im sneezin instead
I cant make love when my head feels like lead
How can I pose when my nose is all red
We should be home, should be tucked up in bed
But I got hay fever
Hay fever
Hay fever
Hay fever
Hay fever

Gold-tipped

At that time
I was thinking something else
when you gave me a half-kiss,
my winter naked moon.

A souvenir left by sun
for the sake of night. I remembered
pink roses
unpetaling green thighs-

for quest of shelter in civil war
of reminiscences.Merciful was the landslide
which buried the whispers of
dead dreams.

Unpretending, unleaping, the ocean
sucks the grief of clouds. The
rains have started a dance
for the suicidal gods.

I think people are born bisexual and the make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society. I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I'm also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who is bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I'd never sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.

Dance With Me

Your shadow danced over my head
a classical ballet;
filling my heart with treading steps
in a renaissance play.
I touched your shadow
till it moved away;
when all I wanted is for you to sway
into my heart…
swing and rave into my dreams;
glide your way into my arms
a ceremonial reggae.
I grasped your shadow
till it moved away;
when all I wanted is for you to stay
and dance this dance of love with me
feel the rhythm of the melody
of this classical song;
that turned to a melancholy,
as I saw myself dancing…
this dance of love alone.

Dance so good, By Wakey! Wakey! - This one is for you Jason W.

I remember when you lost your head
Sometimes I wonder how you stay so
sad when you're so beautiful
And I remember every word you said
How you were scared because you
never been somewhere so beautiful,
so beautiful

So tell me why we're talking when
we dance so good
So tell me why we're talking when
we dance so good
And I know you can't stay but
I wish you would
Yeah I wish you would, I wish
you would

So now you tell me that you're on
the mend Sometimes I wonder how
you don't go mad when you're so
beautiful, so beautiful,
so beautiful, so beautiful

So tell me why we're talking
when we dance so good
So tell me why we're talking
when we dance so good
And you know you can't stay
but I wish you would
Yeah I wish you would,
yeah I wish you would

Remember when you lost your head
Sometimes I wonder how you stay
so sad when you're so beautiful
You're so beautiful, so beautiful,
so beautiful, So BEAUTIFUL, So BEAUTIFUL

So tell me why we're talking when
we dance so good
Yeah tell me why we're talking
when we dance so good
And I know you can't stay but
I wish you would
Yeah I wish you would, yeah
I wish you would

Someone You Should Know

Who do you think you are?
You're talking so loud
You bury the sound
Of your heart that's singing out

And where do you want to be?
On top of the world
But you're just a girl
Who forgot what it's like to dream

Leave everything behind
But you're so tired
One day you might open up your eyes and find

[Chorus]
What you've got isn't what you wanted
What you need just happens to be
What you've got isn't what you wanted
What you need just happens to be
Someone you should know

You try to hide between the lines
Of a story never told
But I've seen you run away
You're afraid of the fall
The weight of it all is too much

But you might change your mind
If you'd stand up one day
You might open up your eyes and find

[Chorus]

La da da da... [x5]

How do you keep it up?
It's all just a front
A dangerous stunt
You're gonna come down soon enough

Open up your eyes
Don't be scared
You might find you had it all the time

What you've got is what you wanted
What you need just happens to be
What you tried so hard to hide
It was there between the lines
Of the story never told
Of someone you should know

What you've got is what you wanted
What you need just happens to be
Someone you should know
What you've got is what you wanted
What you need just happens to be
Someone you should know

[repeat till fade]

Sparrow Hills

Breasts beneath kisses, as though under a tap!
Summer’s stream won’t run for ever.
We can’t pump out the accordion’s roar
night after night, in a dusty fever.

I’ve heard of age. Terrible prophecies!
No wave will lift its hands to the stars.
They say – who believes? No face in the leaves,
no gods in the air, in the ponds: no hearts.

Rouse your soul! Make the day, foaming.
It’s noon in the world. Where are your eyes?
See there, thoughts in the whiteness seething,
fir-cones, woodpeckers, cloud, heat, pines.

Here, the city’s trolley-lines end.
Beyond there’s no rails, it’s the trees.
Beyond – it’s Sunday, breaking branches,
the glade running off, sliding on leaves.

Scattering noons: Whitsuntide: walking,
‘The world’s always like this’, says the wood.
So the copse planned it, the clearing was told,
So it pours, from the clouds, towards us.

Dance In Your Shadow

If your were alone,
No one would know that you were crying
If you were a dream,
Nothing would seem high or low
Lie under the stars,
Cradle your arms like you were dying
Oh..what would you do if it was true
No one was lying
Time wait by your side,
Dance in your shadow
Time wait by your side,
Dance in your shadow
Love treasure the time,
That you are mine and I am found
Oh..what would you do,
If it was true, if you were flying

Goldfever

Thats not the way, thats not the way of the world
Late night creeper with a saturday night,
Saturday night special
After some poor storekeeper,
You need more and more just to stay alive
Ooh its a sin, baby you fight to win
But the rich get richer
And the poor keep living in ditches
Goldfever, let me tell you about goldfever
Dont you know that its on old fever
And I tell you its a cold killer
Said Im talking about goldfever
Dont you know that its an old fever
And I tell you its a heartbreaker
Yeah Im talking about goldfever
Let me tell about, let me tell you about goldfever
Big business man, incorporate this,
Incorporate that, yeah
Youre making all them dollar bills
But you no longer see humanity needs love
Ooh, its a crime, baby in 3/4 time
Go on with your billions
While the people keep on dying in millions
Goldfever, let me tell you about goldfever
Dont you know that its on old fever
And I tell you its a cold killer
Said Im talking about goldfever
Dont you know that its an old fever
And I tell you its a heartbreaker
Yeah Im talking about goldfever
Let me tell you about, let me tell you about goldfever
And it hits you like a cold fever
It comes on like a real sensation
But it will leave you in desolation
Yeah, Im talking about goldfever
And though I know that its an old fever
Its a number one best seller
And it can put you in heaven or hell
Ah, let me tell you about goldfever
Dont you know that its an old fever
And I tell you its a cold killer
Let me tell you about goldfever
Let me tell you about, let me tell you about goldfever

X-Ray Mirror

Tunnel seems so long
Touching the bottom
A slim reflexion
Punctured my vision
I didn't notice
Beside the last door
Standing on nothing
There was a mirror
Even inside...scrutinized
I am, he is, the face I hate
Refracting cells and prismed self
Who's x who's y in a blank place
I can't believe this is my image
Like the mirror without a frame
Baring a scarred side
Open in daylight
Recoil and reply
Farside of my pride
The introspection
Ruptures the blood core
Magnification
Draws out the mirror
Seeking me out
What will he find?
I am, he is, a repugnant state
I can't shake this curiosity
My privacy starts to fade
I can't believe this is my image
Like the mirror
A polar exchange
He gloating over my fleeting image
He used to be me
He knows who is free
How long will I wait...here
Stuck in this void place...here
I can't believe I am the immage
Within the mirror
Into the chrome lake
The glass is broken
But I look the same

In Hospital

Under the shadow of a hawthorn brake,
Where bluebells draw the sky down to the wood,
Where, 'mid brown leaves, the primroses awake
And hidden violets smell of solitude;
Beneath green leaves bright-fluttered by the wing
Of fleeting, beautiful, immortal Spring,
I should have said, 'I love you,' and your eyes
Have said, 'I, too . . . ' The gods saw otherwise.

For this is winter, and the London streets
Are full of soldiers from that far, fierce fray
Where life knows death, and where poor glory meets
Full-face with shame, and weeps and turns away.
And in the broken, trampled foreign wood
Is horror, and the terrible scent of blood,
And love shines tremulous, like a drowning star,
Under the shadow of the wings of war.

Stella's Birthday March 13, 1719

Stella this day is thirty-four,
(We shan't dispute a year or more:)
However, Stella, be not troubled,
Although thy size and years are doubled,
Since first I saw thee at sixteen,
The brightest virgin on the green;
So little is thy form declin'd;
Made up so largely in thy mind.

Oh, would it please the gods to split
Thy beauty, size, and years, and wit;
No age could furnish out a pair
Of nymphs so graceful, wise, and fair;
With half the lustre of your eyes,
With half your wit, your years, and size.
And then, before it grew too late,
How should I beg of gentle Fate,
(That either nymph might have her swain,)
To split my worship too in twain.

Breakin' All The Rules

YOUR COMIN' HOME - THERE'S BLOOD ON THE WALLS AND CHARLIE
AND THE FAMILY MADE HOUSE CALLS. IF YOU'RE ALONE THEN WATCH
WHAT YOU DO 'COS CHARLIE AND THE FAMILY MIGHT GET YOU.
*BRIDGECHORUS
CAN YOU HEAR THEM IN THE DARKNESS, HELTER SKELTER - SPIRAL
MADNESS, YEAH, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE, BUT THERE'S NO WHERE
YOU CAN RUN TO BABY, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE - FOREVER SLEEP IN
PARADISE.
CALIFORNIA SUN - BUT YOU'RE STILL IN BED AND THE CALIFORNIA RAIN
IS TURNING RED. NO SIGN OF LIFE OR THE KEEPERS OF DOOM IN
CHARLIE AND THE KEEPER'S SCARLET ROOM.
CAN YOU HEAR THEM IN THE DARKNESS, HELTER SKELTER - SPIRAL
MADNESS, YAH, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE, BUT THERE'S NO WHERE
YOU CAN RUN TO BABY, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE - FOREVER SLEEP IN
PARADISE.
THEY'LL SUMMON YOU, TO WAKE FROM THE DEAD AS YOU LIE
BLEEDING, MURDERED IN YOUR BED. THE SWEETEST DREAMS ARE ALL
IN YOUR MIND BUT NO ONE WAKES WHEN CHARLIE CREEPS BEHIND,
YEAH.
EXECUTION HALTS YOUR BREATH, HELTER SKELTER SPIRAL DEATH,
BLOODBATH IN PARADISE, BUT THERE'S NO WHERE YOU BREAK OUT BABY,
BLOODBATH IN PARADISE - FOREVER SLEEP IN PARADISE.

You Are My Shadow

My shadow has atleast been of my size.
It was not mine for long, I proclaim

About my shadow very close to me
I think at times my dear you are a little bigger.
It is a shadow that needs no sun
Nor the kindness of a moon.
You are that- I have ever felt.

After me and before me
It moves like my past and future dear...
A shadow that wades across my world of no fun
Or the nod of a god who gives no boon.
You are that-I have ever said.

When I won`t exist in tomorrow`s world
What will you do my dear?
In the chambers of darkness ahead
Will you burn for our little one?
You are to answer-I have ever said.

My shadow has been mine thus
As you begin to shrink to my size.
You have never been so earlier
I am now to stand in the sun and under the moon
You have already answered.

On a windy night (in answer to T.S. Eliot)

I. It’s Midnight

It’s Midnight
and the wind brushes softly though my hair,
there are long drawn out shadows everywhere
under the street lamps and the bright light

is stringed out in white
beacon after beacon leading for some to somewhere
but to me it feels as if they are going nowhere,
as if this dark night

is endless without form or shape
and one lonely shadow is following me
while branches are caught in a macabre dance
and there’s a chill at the nape
of my neck and darkness wherever I see
while I walk as if in a trance.

II. Half past one

Half past one
and the spluttering street lump did mutter
“so you had your fun, ”
and no single word did I utter

and at my back fear was crawling
as if in the past night
I had done a unpardonable sin and wind was the singing
“do not look back” and above me the stars was bright

but a strange feeling was in me
as if something evil was following,
as if from it I would never be free
and I glimpsed back, in my daring caught a glance

of something without shadow sneaking behind
and I believed that it as a trick of the mind.

III. It was half-past two

It was half-past two
and while walking through the park
I did not have a clue
where I was going and the night was very dark

and a black thinned out cat sneaked past
with green glowing eyes
as if the tranquillity could not last
and all of the past goodbyes

where coming to my mind
of loved animals, friends and you
as if I was blind and never again to find
the place in the world where I belonged to

and with a leap of delight
the cat found something to eat in that night.

IV. The darkness washed over me

The darkness washed over me
falling like a old worn out cloak
and there were known stars that I could see
but with feelings wanted to choke

and it was half-past three
with a strange familiar howl in the wind
and the cat was eying me
as if in me it had find

a close compatriot
who is also a dweller in the night,
but in life I felt like a idiot
watching the bright

lights of cars passing in the distance,
praying for some kind of deliverance.

V. At four I was chilly

At four I was chilly
and did not want to wait in the park anymore,
the cat was still with me
purring much more in love with me than before

and I carried it while stroking it
as if I had found a new friend
and bit by tiny bit
I liked it and it was no fiend

but a tiny living thing
with shiny bright eyes burning
right through me and the wind did sing
the leaves on branches were still churning

and for a time I had company,
and it was great to be alive with something that loved me.

VI. The memory was crowding me

The memory was crowding me,
as if there was no escape
that on a similar night I did see
a glance of beauty peering from beneath a cape

and then it was somewhat chilly
not like now a summer night
and a strange passion did fill me
to see her full face in the bright light

but into the night she did disappear
with white cheeks and the fire of a eye
as if she was not meant to be near
and now with the sun in a bright sky

with a bird calling on its mate
I see her standing at the garden gate.

Six Significant Landscapes

I.
An old man sits
In the shadow of a pine tree
In China.
He sees larkspur,
Blue and white,
At the edge of the shadow,
Move in the wind.
His beard moves in the wind.
The pine tree moves in the wind.
Thus water flows
Over weeds.

II.
The night is of the colour
Of a woman's arm:
Night, the female,
Obscure,
Fragrant and supple,
Conceals herself.
A pool shines,
Like a bracelet
Shaken in a dance.

III.
I measure myself
Against a tall tree.
I find that I am much taller,
For I reach right up to the sun,
With my eye;
And I reach to the shore of the sea
With my ear.
Nevertheless, I dislike
The way ants crawl
In and out of my shadow.

IV.
When my dream was near the moon,
The white folds of its gown
Filled with yellow light.
The soles of its feet
Grew red.
Its hair filled
With certain blue crystallizations
From stars,
Not far off.

V.
Not all the knives of the lamp-posts,
Nor the chisels of the long streets,
Nor the mallets of the domes
And high towers,
Can carve
What one star can carve,
Shining through the grape-leaves.

VI.
Rationalists, wearing square hats,
Think, in square rooms,
Looking at the floor,
Looking at the ceiling.
They confine themselves
To right-angled triangles.
If they tried rhomboids,
Cones, waving lines, ellipses --
As, for example, the ellipse of the half-moon --
Rationalists would wear sombreros.

Into Bliss

Between the stars comes moonlight
Mirror of a mind
Image of tempest fruit
Desire deeper than any volcanic fire
Song of Solemn
Color of regal red apples of summer
I am the broken mountains of Eden
Your toes in my mouth
Your black jewel fingernails
Your eyes of sapphire flames

When you find your love
Never take her for granted

Fever, malaise, love is never quenched
Door into pleasures of unity
Halves meeting in the ragged world
Love and joy amidst the thorns
Sensuality beyond pleasure
The two shall become one
Some never go there
Some have been but have fallen
Some stay and share the garden
Your kisses a slice of heaven

Love is the flame of angels
Coming home into bliss
