Epitaph
Serene descent, as a red leaf's descending
When there is neither wind nor noise of rain,
But only autum air and the unending
Drawing of all things to the earth again.
So be it, let the snow fall deep and cover
All that was drunken once with light and air.
The earth will not regret her tireless lover,
Nor he awake to know she does not care.

Cover Me
The times are tough now, just getting tougher
This old world is rough, its just getting rougher
Cover me, come on baby, cover me
Well Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me
Promise me baby you wont let them find us
Hold me in your arms, lets let our love blind us
Cover me, shut the door and cover me
Well Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me
Outsides the rain, the driving snow
I can hear the wild wind blowing
Turn out the light, bolt the door
I aint going out there no more
This whole world is out there just trying to score
Ive seen enough I dont want to see any more,
Cover me, come on and cover me
Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me
Looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me

Let the...
Let the rain kiss you
Let the wind hug you
Let the sun warm you
Let the earth and snow cool you
Let the rain wash your sorrow
Let the wind blow your hatred away
Let the sun warm your love
Let the earth cover your anger
Let the snow cool your soul
Let the rain bring kindness to you
Let the wind blow hope to you
Let the sun shine with joy on you
Let the earth grow with your love
Let the snow bring happiness to you

You Don't Care, You Can't Care
It's dark, dank and dreary
The Wind is cold and uncomforting
But I am just another Raindrop
That lands on your Leaves,
You stand rooted to the ground
Not even the Wind moves you
And the Rain touches you.
As I land on your Leaf,
Trying to retain, to remain there
Just for a second, to be a part of you;
The Wind blows me away 'whoosh'
And I am gone.
But you don't look back,
The Roots tell you 'no' as the
Wind continues to blow...
Lying on the ground, looking
Back up at what could have been
You stand there, alone, the
Wind howling, the Rain falling,
And you don't care,
You can't care. Is it the
Wind or the Rain? Or are you just too vain?
Strangely, stupidly, sadly; I
Give you another chance, I try
To talk to you, but you let the
Wind shake your Leaves, the
Rain fall on you, you watch
those Raindrops slide off you
Each and every one falls to the earth
You don't care, You can't care.

Whiter Than Snow
As the snow falls from up above, it falls down on the earth below.
It covers everything like a glove, with The Creator’s winter show.
But peeking out is a contrast of, the dark earth beneath the snow.
Soon the sun will return and then, the blanket of snow melts away.
Although it all was covered friend, the earth below is there to stay.
The ground will be exposed again, as before all that snow did lay.
The snow just like the rain will fall, whether it’s in the day or night.
And the snow creates a quiet lull, as it covers all within our sight.
But the ice and snow in its all, will surely dissipate come the light.
Friend, we also cover up in life, our deepest inner hurts and pain.
The inner anguish and the strife, along with thoughts we disdain.
The pains cut deep like a knife, as deep in the heart they remain.
Hidden deep there is also sin, which is hidden down in our heart.
The sin that is buried deep within, creates a much darkened part.
But men in Christ who trust in Him, God gives to them a new start.
Although ones life is like a harlot, Christ will show you how to go.
And though our sin is as scarlet, He’ll make us whiter than snow.
Christ will give you a New Spirit, and in The Spirit you will grow.
All of your sins Christ forgave, this back on the cross of Calvary.
Now matter how darkly depraved, on that cross He set you free.
It was you The Lord had saved, when Christ died upon that tree.
Your sin He did more than cover, for He has washed it all away.
Friend you will soon discover, that in your heart He came to stay.
There His Peace, He will uncover, to fill your heart night and day.

Fall to Earth
The stubborn little Maple leaf
held on when all its fellows fled.
They carpeting the ground beneath
a vast lushscape of gold and red.
Leaf held on through wind and rain,
the last survivor of its race.
Leaf held on past Turkey day
maintaining there its pride of place.
Then Leaf grew lonely, I suppose-
Like the summer's final rose.
Leaf envied then the flakes of snow
Who fluttered past to their repose.
Then, just as winter came to call,
Leaf felt a tug and then a snap.
Flying, tumbling on the winds
Fall to Earth. Fade to black.

Who Let In The Rain
Things like this
can always take a little time
I always thought
we'd be together down the line
we start to fight
and can't get over what was said
'cause you see black and white
and I see red
And I wonder who let in the rain
you know without you
I'm not the same
when love gets strong
people get weak
sometimes they lose control
and wind up in too deep
they fall like rain
who let in the rain
I make the bed and cover
where you used to sleep
I'm smoothing over promises
made in these sheets
I envy lovers passing by
out on the street
'cause what they have
I couldn't keep
And I wonder who let in the rain
you know without you
I'm not the same
when love gets strong
people get weak
sometimes they lose control
and wind up in too deep
they fall like rain
who let in the rain.

Reflections Of Fire
and so the leaf
already beginning to turn
deep inside its own cosmos
leaves me waiting, time frozen,
to watch the fall, to fall with,
and into arms outstretched,
grey hair blown by the wind
to kiss the earth, and crumble
back into sweet nothingness
and dirt waiting for the coming,
of the snow!

Lover Of My Soul
When I see the winter turning into spring
Oh, it speaks to this heart of mine
More than anything
Underneath a blanket of snow, cold and white
Something is stirring in the still of the night
And then the sun comes up, slowly with the dawn
Oh, this is the kind of feeling
That I hang my hope upon
There is love and beauty in all that I see
And no one, nobody, is explaining You to me
And maybe my eyes can't see
But You are surrounding me
Here in the wind and rain
The things that I know
Tender and sweet, and strong as my need
I know the voice, I know the touch
Lover of my soul
And when the evening comes, and sunlight fades to red
And time and time and time again
I whisper in my head
'Give me strength, give me faith', to fully believe
That the Maker of this whole, wide world
Is a Father to me
And maybe my eyes can't see
But You are surrounding me
Here in the wind and rain
The things that I know
Tender and sweet, and strong as my need
I know the voice, I know the touch
Lover of my soul
I need the voice, I need the touch
And maybe my eyes can't see
But You are surrounding me
Here in the wind and rain
The things that I know so well
Tender and sweet, and strong as my need
I know the voice, I know the touch
Lover of my soul
I know the voice, I know the touch
Lover of my soul
Talkin' to me and the things I know
Oh, You're the lover of my soul
Talkin' to me and the things I know
You are the lover of my soul
Talkin' to me and the things I know
You are the lover of my soul
In the wind, and the rain, and the snow...
You are the lover of my soul

Fertile Earth # 2
come, my lover,
walk with me this fertile earth!
undressing with autumnal passion....
can you hear the groan
of the leaf turning from green
to red to brown?
can you feel the stamp of the deer?
the alert fear of the squirrel
hiding on the bare branches?
can you smell the earth laid bare,
uninhibited, awaiting the cover of snow?
can you feel the hardness of this ghost ship,
preparing to sail your stormy seas?
can you taste the resin of the pine
cut down for the fire?
your mouth opens in anticipation
of the first flakes upon your tongue......
and the chair by the fire awaits in stillness
for your body curled into mine....
come, my lover....
walk with me this fertile earth!

Power Displayed
As the snow fall blankets the earth, we get a glimpse of nature’s worth,
Seeing the things done only by God, when He touches the earthly sod,
With a deep cold and its chill, surrounding an area at the Creator’s Will,
With many waters in winter’s hold, God turns them to ice in all that cold.
With the snow painting a scenic view, in full vision of both me and you,
Scenes which by many are viewed, yet by some the initiator is skewed,
For The Lord is the weather changer, not one, some call Mother Nature,
As God paints with His sovereign brush, in the midst of our winter rush.
But, that pace the Lord stops fast, with both ice and snow that will last,
And for ever long as God wills it to, in altering the pace of me and you,
Friend the Lord God does the same, when using floods and heavy rain,
With just water to change the pace, of the much misguided human race.
And it’s not just a season or two, for we see His power all year through,
Within the rain, snow, wind and hail, God’s Power on earth does not fail,
But, what truly fails are men’s hearts, when from the Lord a soul departs,
Rejecting The God of all Creation, they turn to simple man’s explanation.
Yet, having no sense of Godly fear, they fail to explain why we are here,
Dismissing all thought of a Creator, they have no need to seek a Savior,
Even as He displays power on earth, they lean on man’s temporal worth,
And soon the power of The Son, will be displayed on earth for everyone.

A Globule on the Colocasia Leaf
All unite, then one remains,
And now it vibrates
On the colocasia leaf
In the light noon wind.
It’s serene soon, and spreads a
Rainbow on the leaf
In the light sunshine.
It’s a tiny spectrum, which
Sparkles and fades as the
Sun rays come and go.
It’s a transient miracle, which
None can put on the palm
Without losing it’s splendour.
It’s the purest rain globule,
On the colocasia leaf,
Like a thought drop, which
None can put on the palm

The Glory Of God
The earth is filled with the glory of God
As the waters cover the sea
He is the one who came and died for you
He is the one who has set you free
His glory covers all of the earth
And the heavens are full of His praise
His brightness is brighter than a thousand suns
So to Him our hands we must raise
He stands and measures all of the earth
And the perpetual hills bow down
The deep cries out and lifts its hands
To the King who now wears a crown
The sun and the moon stand still in their place
All the earth is hushed by your sight
And the heavens retreat and cover their face
For what was dark has now become light
Then I saw a new heaven, and behold a new earth
For all things had now passed away
For the Lord had come down and took His place
And this is what I heard Him say
I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End
Living waters flow freely from Me
Every tear I have come, to wipe away
And in my presence, forever, you will be!

GOD's Creation
I think of things without certain things,
Earth without men, kingdoms without kings,
Life without death, white without black,
Day without night, Light without dark,
Young without old, Hot without cold,
Happiness without gloom, spring without fall,
Truth without false, fly without fall,
Rain without dry, earth without sky,
Rich without poor, born without die,
Has God created, Things without value?
Dark has to perish, Spring has to come.

Fertile Earth
walk with me this fertile earth,
breathe deep, and unashamed.
touch the petal, the thorn,
lie naked on the ground....
know the wind as your lover,
bathe in the rain.....
touch the one beside you,
really touch.... read with
the tips of your fingers....
paint your hunger with your lips
upon her neck, her breasts...
run your tongue deep inside
her thoughts, her secret garden;
suck the darkness from her soul.
breathe light into her longing,
unlock the chains that have her bound....
kiss her shadow as she flies....
walk with me this fertile earth!

A Saxon Epitaph
The earth builds on the earth
Castles and towers;
The earth saith of the earth:
All shall be ours.
Yea, though they plan and reap
The rye and the corn,
Lo, they were bond to Sleep
Ere they were born.
Yea, though the blind earth sows
For the fruit and the sheaf,
They shall harvest the leaf of the rose
And the dust of the leaf.
Pride of the sword and power
Are theirs at their need
Who shall rule but the root of the flower
The fall of the seed.
They who follow the flesh
In splendour and tears,
They shall rest and clothe them afresh
In the fulness of years.
From the dream of the dust they came
As the dawn set free.
They shall pass as the flower of the flame
Or the foam of the sea.
The earth builds on the earth
Castles and towers.
The earth saith of the earth:
All shall be ours.

Mismanagement
Mismanagement, man, meant, mean, as, eat, it, means, nag, men;
Better to be poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king or queen!
But the rain falls on us all on this earth.
Mismanagement, sin, gas, ten, nets, aims, tins, same, sage, gnats;
Better to do what is right always than what is wrong!
For the muse of love is all about care;
But the rain falls on us all on this earth.
Mismanagement, me, is, gin, in, Inn, tag, game, stain, gems, sea;
With boys and girls playing together in an open field till the night!
But the rains fall on us all on this earth.
Mismanagement, age, tea, team, steam, seam, ate, gain, an, ants;
With wars around us like no man's business!
But it is better to do your very best always on this earth than to hate others;
Because the rain falls on us all on this earth! !

Big Storm, The Rain Falls
The rain falls like leaves and snow.
It stutters and mutters
And bounces and flows.
The rain falls like a big black crow,
Flapping and cawing
And thrashing and crashing.
The rain falls like spades of earth
Tossed on the grave of summer mirth.
The rain falls like a magic spell:
Billions of droplets singing their songs.
The rain falls like a lover's kisses,
Wet on the flesh of the trembling earth.
The rain falls like a forest of time,
Shimmering seconds, liquid and cold.
The rain falls like an ancient story,
Trickling on roots, twisted and old.

Tears of the Sun
Thy sun in grimace
I say 'We are the ones, he is disgraced'
'Weeps' Sky said
'I shall bring thy tears'
I already know
The Sky thoughts are clouded in fear
Sky says, 'I shall bring his sadness'
'To cover his depression? ! '
Moon says, 'He has his own light! '
'Why should I stay? '
I say, 'Trust from Earth's friends is all he can crave'
For my words have fade in the mist
The Sun hides behind Sky
I say, 'He is getting sadder.'
Sky cover in darkness
Now the Sun begans to weep
Droplets began to fall apon me
'These are Sun's tears'
I say, 'We are killing Earth'
The Sun's heart is leaking
Leaking into Earth's broken soul
'If we don't help her'
I say, 'She will truely go'
'For now I call this greif,
For Earth's grounds we have walk on
We must restore her
Or there won't be a other rainbow.
