Smaller than the smallest atom

Smaller than the smallest atom,
All embracing as the heavens,
Tuka views the world objective -
Name and form as all delusion -
Realising its true nature
Serpent like, he drops his cover,
Far is left the triple range,
Which the soul has just passed o'er
Light the jar of dull clay brightens!
Shining in that light doth Tuka
Live on earth to serve the mankind.

Abhangs (A Short Collection)

1
I was sleeping when Namdeo and Vitthal Stepped into my dream.
'Your job is to make poems. Stop wasting time,' Namdeo said.
Vitthal gave me the measure and gently aroused me from a dream inside a dream.
Namdeo vowed to write one billion poems.
'Tuka, all the unwritten ones are your responsibility.'

2
To repeat Your name is to string pearls together.
The pleasure in your manifested form is always new.
I have ceased to desire the unembodied God.
Your worshippers do not seek liberation.
With You, it is still possible to give and to receive.
What use is the place where a dish sat when it is taken away?
Tuka says, 'Give me the gift of freedom from fear.
After all, O Lord who pervades the world, I have given the world You.'

3
Without a worshipper, how can God assume a form and accept service?
The one makes the other beautiful, as a gold setting shows off a jewel.
Who but God can make the worshipper free from desires?
Tuka says, 'They are drawn to each other like mother and child.'

4
I am not starved for want of food, but it is Janardana who deserves my reverence.
I have looked on God as one who sees everything, on bright and dark days, alike.
God is like a father with his child,
who both feels and gives pleasure at the same time.
Good acts and bad acts vanish.
Tuka says, 'God's glory alone is left.'

5
This is why I have left my house and gone to the forest.
My love will be spoiled by the evil eye.
I will lose my love for Him.
I will not listen to this doctrine of unity.
Tuka says, 'This doctrine that God and I are one is false.
I will not let it interfere with me.'

6
Just beyond us we see that purple luster - how glorious!
With His noble crown of peacock feathers stitched together.
As you look upon Him, fever and illusion vanish
Adore then the Prince of the Yadavas, the Lord of Yogis.
He who filled with passion the sixteen thousand royal damsels,
Fair Creatures, divine maidens.
He stands upon the river bank with the luster of one million moons.
It is fastened in jewels on His neck
And merges into the luster of His form.

This God who bears the wheel is the chief of the Yadavas.
Him the thirty three crores of demigods adore.
The demons tremble before Him.
His dark blue countenance destroys sin.
How fair are His feet with saffron stained!
How fortunate is the brick that is grasped by His feet!
The very thought of Him makes fire cool.
Therefore embrace Him with experience of your own.
The sages, as they see His face, contemplate Him in the spirit,
The Father of the World stands before them in bodily shape.
Tuka is frenzied after Him; His purple form ravages the mind

7
If men are habitations of God, we should fall at their feet
But we should leave alone their habits and goals.
Fire is good to drive away cold
But you must not tie it up
And carry it around in a cloth.
Tuka says, 'A scorpion or a snake is a habitation of Narayana;
You may worship Him from afar, but you must not touch Him.'

Random Freedom Thoughts

a man is no more
than the smallest act
of giving he leaves behind.

a true patriot
embodies the ideal
of freedom and equality.

we live all of our lives
searching for what we knew
when we were born.

our concepts of God,
like a microwave dinner,
the real thing much better...

and totally different!
religion the drug
that keeps us from expressing,

the veil with which
we cover the truth...
and racial prejudice,

the saddest form of ignorance...
like loving your right hand,
and hating your left.

that which we own,
we are most often owned by.
that which really matters,

cannot be owned!

Smaller & Smaller

Drought makes the workers dream
Muscles and fields of green
Shovel the last few crumbs
Of generosity
Open hearts, open mind, open mouth, open vein
Drain
Someday the rains will come
My blistered hands tell me
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
Bite
Bite
Bite
Cry
Ill keep coming back
Smaller and smaller and smaller
Squash me
Smaller and smaller and smaller
Under the charity
Smaller and smaller and smaller
Under the topsoil
Smaller and smaller and smaller
Under the fingernail
Smaller and smaller and smaller
Then small becomes all becomes all..........
Bite
Bite
Bite
Cry
Its not a mirage
Its not a mirage
Trickling downward, trickling downward
Its not a mirage
Drain
Drain
Bite
Bite
Bite
Cry
Smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller..........

Out Of Control

Once high on a hill
There was a song
Nothing was wrong
Thats when time stood still
Now lovers are caught
Left in their thoughts
Tied to their dreams
Bound by the depth of their love
If I cant hold on to you
If I cant hold on to you
Therell be a sky of fire and hell of blue
If all of our dreams wont come true
Ill cover you, Ill cover you
Sky is fire, hell is blue
Thats why Im out of control
Build myself up, tear myself down
Build myself up again
Im talking to you
Trying to get through
Dont wanna hide
Lost in the mirror of love
If I cant hold on to you
If I cant hold on to you
If the sky is wide and heavens good
If all of our dreams wont come true
Ill cover you, Ill cover you
Sky is fire, hell is blue
Somewhere near the end
Lovers pretend
Lose what they feel
Keep what they get from love
Start missing the drive
Staying alive
Four out of five
Without the feeling of love
If I cant hold on to you
If I cant hold on to you
If this heart is fire and hell is blue
If all of our dreams wont come true
Ill cover you, Ill cover you.

Milton: The Sky is an Immortal Tent Built by the Sons of Los

The sky is an immortal tent built by the Sons of Los:
And every space that a man views around his dwelling-place
Standing on his own roof or in his garden on a mount
Of twenty-five cubits in height, such space is his universe:
And on its verge the sun rises and sets, the clouds bow
To meet the flat earth and the sea in such an order'd space:
The starry heavens reach no further, but here bend and set
On all sides, and the two Poles turn on their valves of gold:
And if he moves his dwelling-place, his heavens also move
Where'er he goes, and all his neighbourhood bewail his loss.
Such are the spaces called Earth and such its dimension.
As to that false appearance which appears to the reasoner
As of a globe rolling through voidness, it is a delusion of Ulro.
The microscope knows not of this nor the telescope: they alter
The ratio of the spectator's organs, but leave objects untouch'd.
For every space larger than a red globule of Man's blood
Is visionary, and is created by the Hammer of Los;
And every space smaller than a globule of Man's blood opens
Into Eternity of which this vegetable Earth is but a shadow.
The red globule is the unwearied sun by Los created
To measure time and space to mortal men every morning

Egg to Hen Poem

At first hard cover
Inside a
fluidity of identity
atomic alchemy
Boxing ring can be the hard holder of disciplinary existence
Break free, whether it is true or false to touch the sky of the true base of humanity no humiliated conceptualization process but the birth if the eye is the eye
if not blindness of life can happen it is an adventure of life, go for it
Shaping form and colours first, then conditioned concepts and innate concepts encounter life
sound and voice, the smallest units of human language
the hard holder asks the fluidity of the existing identity
what is the purpose of your life?
how would you end your life?
Form is now clear and idea is evolving out of complexity
Like a poem with possessing vehicle of predetermined destiny

Who Is Beautiful?

i am not beautiful
people see right through me
i am not beautiful
it's the world
who made such pretty things
i am not beautiful
nor heavens said i am
i am not beautiful
it's the world who judge this book
i am not beautiful
i am just a person
with mere imaginations
i am not handsome
i am merely a boy
with this physical nature
it's the world who tells me
and so i must understand
i am not beautiful
who is beautiful?
in the eyes of the Almighty i am so
i am beautiful
i am a soul
God made me
flesh to flesh
bone of One's bone
every breath of His breath
i am beautiful
it's the world that hovers
the hidden lies
i am beautiful
with the grace of heavens
i call along
and so i must need to understand
i am beautiful.

***
every single atom God created is made beautifully and so as atoms grew bigger, one strange creature was formed---HUMAN, and by that, everyone is made beautiful--- all pretty and handsome.

***
so refrain from discriminating yourself
because in you
they will see God's perfection.

Let's Have A Little Game

let us play
this small game
he that gives the smaller one
wins

i'll start
with a dog and you will have a cat
you win
and i will choose the flea in the cat
and then i win

we go into much smaller things
i'll have the bacteria and you choose
this virus
you win again

then i take the atom
you take the neutron
and i take a space of
emptiness
shall i win this time?

ok let's stop, let us try another one
something big, bigger and biggest

let us start with the size of our hearts
game.

Nature Outlives Us All

It is the law of Nature the strongest does survive
And on the flesh of their victims the predators do thrive
And her creatures like her Seasons to Nature come and go
And the more we learn of Nature the more our wonder of her grow
Us humans belong to Nature we think we own her Land
And the more we learn about her the less we know we understand
The strangeness of her nature her beauty in every flower
The fierceness of her anger before her humans cower,
Nature is our sole source of food yet we pollute her water and air
Due to our greed for the health of our Earth Mother we do not seem to care
And what we do to Nature to our own selves we do
And that applies to all of us to me as well as you
Only the strongest thrive in Nature but Nature outlives us all
From the World's largest mammal to the smallest of the small.

Modern Love XXVI: Love Ere He Bleeds

Love ere he bleeds, an eagle in high skies,
Has earth beneath his wings: from reddened eve
He views the rosy dawn. In vain they weave
The fatal web below while far he flies.
But when the arrow strikes him, there's a change.
He moves but in the track of his spent pain,
Whose red drops are the links of a harsh chain,
Binding him to the ground, with narrow range.
A subtle serpent then has Love become.
I had the eagle in my bosom erst:
Henceforward with the serpent I am cursed.
I can interpret where the mouth is dumb.
Speak, and I see the side-lie of a truth.
Perchance my heart may pardon you this deed:
But be no coward:--you that made Love bleed,
You must bear all the venom of his tooth!

World Alone

Written by dewey bunnell, 1998
Found on human nature.
I remember so long ago wondering
Could we stay this way forever
On this carousel turning and laughing
We just wanted to be together
And so we did it
We left on our own merry way
Into this world alone
In the sand at the sea we lay gazing
At the stars up above in the heavens
There was nothing to keep us from playing
We just wanted to be together
Why did we do it
We left on our own merry way
Into this world alone
Little did we know
Where we were going then
And when things got cold
Trying not to pretend
Ooo...
And still we did it
We left on our own merry way
Into this world alone
How were we to know
Things were so simple then
Somehow we lost hope
Falling to earth again
Then came that cold winters day
When we ended it forever
After everything we used to say
There was nothing to keep us together
And so we did it
Each left on our own merry way
Back to this world alone

What Is Use Of Emminence?

Man goes as high he has broader view.
He can reach to root once got the clue.
Above the horizon once you rise
soon you feel you are part of the sky.

Start realising the world smaller than you;
Have a feeling in you, as yourself is blue.
But my friend! if want to see a spot;
you have to come down and have to locate.

Great personalities too, not of much use;
who look eminent but are not helpful.
Like the date tree which grows very tall
but doesn't provide shade and fruit grows far.

Cover Me

The times are tough now, just getting tougher
This old world is rough, its just getting rougher
Cover me, come on baby, cover me
Well Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me
Promise me baby you wont let them find us
Hold me in your arms, lets let our love blind us
Cover me, shut the door and cover me
Well Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me
Outsides the rain, the driving snow
I can hear the wild wind blowing
Turn out the light, bolt the door
I aint going out there no more
This whole world is out there just trying to score
Ive seen enough I dont want to see any more,
Cover me, come on and cover me
Im looking for a lover who will come on in and cover me

Full Circle

All Ive ever touched or said to them
Becomes a rehearsal for you, just practicing,
Too many magic moments to be coincidence
It all comes full circle
I knew someone who knew you
And he introduced me to you
Your ex-girlfriend had a boyfriend
Who kissed my girlfriend
Who did adrian
The world keeps on getting smaller and smaller
And everything comes back full circle, full circle
Six degrees of separation
We all know someone else
It all comes full circle
And you come from england
My ex-boyfriend, he is indian
British passport, were all connected
And everyone else is affected
The world keeps on getting smaller and smaller
And everything comes back full circle, full circle
Six degrees of separation
We all know someone else
It all comes full circle
It all comes full circle
The world keeps on getting smaller and smaller
And everything comes back full circle, full circle
