My Guitar And A Penutbutter Jar

I sit and play my guitar all day
as my fingers lay on the strings so tight
strumming it lightly
make sounds of pain
my fingers are bleeding but i dont care
the pain i feel inside is much stronger
why am i still alive?
can i take this any longer?
his voice tells me to keep playing on
my hearts want to die after my last song
i reach for the jar of penutbutter
they say there is happyness at the bottom
but they lie
the only thing i have left
is my guitar and an empty penutbutter jar
scrapping at the bottom as it keeps me busy
my hearts are screaming PICK UP THE BLADE! !
dont put it down because its the only happeness you will ever know
its hard to stop some times i give in and do it
the blood flowing from my wrist to my guitar
my tears mixing in
so maybe there is hapyness in
my self mutilation, my guitar
and at the end of an empty penutbutter jar

The Fastest Guitar Alive

Orbison/dees
Hey here I go a lucky so and so
Happy cos I know Ive got my fast guitar
Singing pretty songs, knowing I belong
I am first and last, and always a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Rattling strings like a gattling gun
Shaped like a lovely woman
Stay right where you are
My guitar is a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Im rolling on like a rolling stone
Gathering no moss, I play a boss guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Strumming like a battling soldiers drum
Shaped like a lovely woman
Stay right where you are
My guitar is a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Hey here I go a lucky so and so
Happy cos I know Ive got my fast guitar
The fastest guitar
The fastest guitar
The fastest guitar alive

My Sad Guitar (In Iraq)

When I play...my sad guitar,
With powered chords...of deep emotion.
I strum the strings...with such devotion,
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
In a bunker, built in the sand.
This war torn country, this desert land,
I miss playing...In a rock and roll band.
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
My memories play,
Deep in my mind,
I try to find-
Our... wedding... day!
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
I think of my Harley...My hot-rod car,
Wishing I was home,
With a beer in a bar.
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

I Can Play (Lyrics) :

He didn't give himself up to fear.
And his voice had a life of its own.
He didn't give himself up for broke.
Just a man who played his guitar.

He said 'I can play the guitar', 'I can play it clear'.
'I can play the guitar'.'I can play'.
'I can play the songs that you want to hear'.
'I can play the guitar'.'I can play'.

'I can play the guitar'.'I can play it clear'.
'I can play the guitar'.'I can play'.
'I can play the songs that you want to hear'.
'I can play the guitar'.'I can play'.

He didn't give himself up to drinking beer.
His voice still had a life of its own.
And he didn't give himself up for smoke.
Just a man who played his guitar.

He said 'I can play the guitar'.'I can play it clear'.

He didn't give himself up to curcumstance.
Always tried to make it alone.
He didn't give himself up to telling lies.
His honesty was already shown.
Always kept himself up to par.
Just a man who played his guitar.

He said 'I can play the guitar'.'I can play it clear'.

'I can play the guitar'.'I can play'...

Guitar And Pen

You're alone above the street somewhere
Wondering how you'll ever count out there
You can walk, you can talk, you can fight
But inside you've got something to write
In your hand you hold your only pen
Never spend your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
When you take up a pencil and sharpen it up
When you're kicking the fence and still nothing will budge
When the words are immobile until you sit down
Never feel they're worth keeping, they're not easily found
Then you know in some strange unexplainable way
You must really have something
Jumping, thumping, fighting, hiding away
Important to say
When you sing through the verse and you end in a scream
And you swear and you curse cos the rhyming ain't clean
But it suddenly comes after years of delay
You pick up your guitar and you can suddenly play
When your fingers are bleeding and your knuckles are white
Then you can be sure, you can open the door
Get up of the floor tonight
You have something to write
When you wanna complain there's no one can stop you
But when your music proclaims there's no one can top you
You are wearing your heart on your jumping feet
You've got a head start away from the street
But is that what you want, to be rich and be gone
Could be there's just one thing left in the end
Your guitar and your pen
When you sing to your Mum and you hum and you croon
And she says that she'd like it with more of a tune
And you smash your guitar at the end of the bed
Then you stick it together and start writing again
And you know that it won't be too long till your back -

Ungramatically, right..!

I have a guitar
It asks me questions...
Replies my doubts...
At times generate novel music...
Without me playing, very noble.!
Many a times I thought
To enter the inner of that...!
As I entered it....
To know its wonders...,
Wonders of its everything...
Kid I became...
For my guitar..! ,
Because of entering its inner beauty..
I was cared as inside of my mom!
And became sacred too...!
Because I dont know anything...
Other than my presence in its kling..!
I am not fully fit to describe about the guitar....
Guitar...my mom...!
Because its my world...my universe..!
To the people it may seem as I am creating music
From the inside and outside by tricks..!
But ultimately....
The guitar only has created me...!
I am the guitar's kid! !

Selling the Guitar

The old strings of this guitar
they argue with my fingers

Perhaps the E string
with its proud tone
has better things to do

Maybe one night
this guitar
chose to become a piano
or speak other languages

Someone put the words
Out of tune
It no longer understands me

Now the songs refuse to be heard
Now things don't sound the same
And this guitar, I'm selling-
Perhaps has something against my fingers.

Strumming The Strings Of My Heart

I watch you play,
Making a beautiful tune
The strings of the guitar shaking
As you sit in the light of the moon

Your plucking the strings
With great ease
Making a flowing melody
A pretty song, just for me

I continue to watch
You playing your guitar
Making me love you
While your strumming the strings of my heart

These strings will never be touched
By anyone but you
You go where no one else can
Leaving a mark, like a tattoo,
Saying I LOVE YOU

Play For Me My Beloved Guitar

Play for me my beloved guitar
A Love Song for my Dearest whose heart is filled with hurt;
With your strings of gold
Pluck out all her troubles from old

Play for me my beloved guitar
A Ballad for my Son whose life is full of uncertainties;
With your tunes so mellow
To a straight path let him follow

Play for me my beloved guitar
A Lullaby for my Daughter whose life is full of struggles;
With your sound so sweet
Into life's hurdles let her succeed

Play for me my beloved guitar
A Sonnet for my Brothers whose lives seem to be so hard;
With your timbre so soft
Into difficulties let them keep up

Play for me my beloved guitar
A Gospel for the World full of hatred and war;
With your resonance so pleasant
Chaos and crimes be gone

Play for me my beloved guitar
An Ode for My Soul full of burdens of the above;
With your lovely tunes and my dexterous fingers
Healing, inspiring, uplifting, motivating and peaceful songs, we will play together.

My Guitar.

my guitar has six strings,
it gets lonely when nobody sings,
musical and magical,
my pick makes my guitar sound so magical,
and no matter were i go shes right there,
when i play my guitar people always stare,
we sound so good together,
i hope my guitar will stay with me forever,
my guitar has six strings.
but it gets lonely when no one sings,
my guitar is never out of tune,
it doesnt matter who i play it too,
wether you're happy, mad or feeling blue,
just remember my guitar will help you get thru.

The Guitar Man

They call me the guitar man.
Cause I can really bend those strings.
I no longer play in a band,
But I can make my guitar sing.

There ain't nothing I can't play,
I carry music in my soul.
I play better than yesterday,
I can play some solid gold.

My acoustic Alvarez,
Can either sing or cry.
I thank the Lord, that he has blessed,
My guitar and me from on high.

If you're ever down in Texas,
Come and see this guitar man.
I don't look at all like Elvis,
But I do the best I can.

Ask around and you will see.
That I am not so hard to find.
If you hear music, thats where I'll be,
So come on down, if your'e inclined.

My Lonely Guitar

At a corner my guitar waves her hand
inviting me to pick her up, to strum her
strings, to find out if all her chords
blend in harmony with my fingers.

It is waving her hand before my eyes
as in those birthdays, meetings, teaching,
and parties where her strings were made
busy to play melodies to people around.

Tonight she waves her hand again
calling me to play with her our common
game of songs which others can sing along.
But I just cannot play with my guitar today.

For whatever reason let this lonely night
find out; let me sleep and let sweet melody
sleep with me in my dreams and
let my guitar help me find the right chords
for my lonely song.

Write A Song

This is a song
And I'm holding a guitar
I'm pouring out my long
And lonely heart

Now I know why Taylor said
What she said about teardrops
On her guitar
Every time I'm hurting I
Turn Taylor on
I pick up my guitar
And write a song

I say I'm not over you
But I think I'm moving on
I'm wandering in this desert
Going on and on and on

Now I know why Taylor said
What she said about teardrops
On her guitar
Every time I'm hurting I
Turn Taylor on
I pick up my guitar
And write a song

Drew didn't hurt me
But I still feel the pain
Every time I think of you
Hugging me on that very last day

Now I know why Taylor said
What she said about teardrops
On her guitar
Every time I'm hurting I
Turn Taylor on
I pick up my guitar
And write a song

Ghost In His Guitar

Down the drain pipe cross the yard and through the fence
I risked a whoopin' every time I went
'Cause white boys weren't allowed
On the colored side of town
But I was proud to call
That old black man my friend
He had a pillow by the bed he used to pray on
And a beat up old guitar he let me play on
I knew where my fingers went
From his greasy fingerprints
Yeah, he was passin' on
What was handed down to him
(Chorus)
And it soaked up all the blood and sweat and teardrops
And the beers he missed in smokey little bars
And sometimes that old man he comes alive in my hands
I feel the beating of his sad old broken heart
Just like there's a ghost in this guitar
A ghost in this guitar
Well, the night before he died he made me take it
He said, "You play it now, 'cause I gotta go"
And I can feel him in my fingers when I play it
'Cause sometimes I'm in control
And sometimes I just sit back
And let him go
Sit back and let him go
(Repeat Chorus)
Take a listen to the ghost in this guitar

Cause I Love You

Music: Rudolf Schenker
Lyrics: Klaus Meine
My fingers walk all over you
I won't stop before you scream
Cause I love you
Cause I love you
I feel your body on my skin
You're the godess of my dreams
Cause I love you
Cause I love you
You're the sting that's in my flesh
When I am feelin down and low
That's why I love you
That's why I love you
I make you scream I make you cry
With all my heart and soul
That's why I love you
That's why I love you
She's the one who is crying we're flying
She cries bitter tears when I'm blue
She's the one who is screaming I'm dreaming
Tonight I will reach
Out for you...out for you
Totally electric fire
When I hold you in my arm
Cause I love you
Cause I love you
The only true love of my life
You're the owner of my heart
Cause I love you
Yes I love you
She's the one who is crying we're flying
We fly on the way to the stars
She's the one who is screaming I'm dreaming
When I reach you with... My guitar
...My guitar...My guitar...

Guitar Heaven

Written by: neil diamond
Hey little boy
Just sitting on your back porch
Picking on your guitar
Wishing you were far away
Well, I can tell
Youve had a little bit fo a dream
I see it in your eyes
I can hear it in the songs you play
And hey little boy
Just play it like you feel it
Make it so real
Its almost to real to take
Just swing it like a player
Make it like a prayer
Its one from the heart
Give it all of the hear it can take
And when you play what you wanna play
Just reach down to the soul
You keep on growing and youll know some day
That sound is gonna turn into gold
Boy, youre taking me there
To guitar heaven
And without saying a word
You lay it all on the line
And make me leave my cares
In guitar heaven
Just go and play your song
I could stay all night
Play it son
(guitar solo)
You know, youre taking me there
To guitar heaven
You make me feel every sound
You make it shine like a light
Im gonna lose my cares
In guitar heaven
You go and play that song
Im gonna stay a while
Go and play that song, boy
Im gonna stay a while
The way you play that song
Makes me wanna smile

My Beloved Guitar

The long solid neck,
With flowing, refinded strings.
A base of cherry; finished wood.
Defined in figure, exquisite;
Among other things.
Shaped with a curve,
Set down in my lap.
I picked up my guitar,
And made my fingers tap.
A symphony from,
Those melodic strings.
Part of my hearts amour.
My fingers graze along,
This coppery and bronze decor.
A roughness they slide.
Along the ends;
Roughness on my fingertips.
A sliding; an arry of refreshing sounds.
One that echos into the bottem,
And emerges to astound.
My arm embraces the frame work,
A base of refined finished wood.
Tuned to a sound,
Like a guitar should.
My fingers cradle those melodic stings.
The light strum of my hand,
Makes music;
The guitar sings.
From the mouth of a speaker.
Out comes a tune.
With a cadence strum.
Fingers pressed down,
Out the music comes.
A symphony from,
This rhythmic harmony.
A tone in my soul.
A note that's always been apart of me.
A feeling I once knew.
I recall, a sound in the distance.
A beauty that plays so smooth.
Shaped with a curve,
Set down in my lap;
I picked up my guitar.
It slowly starts to come back.
That feeling, I'll never forget.
I recall, a sound not so far.
I recall, the feeling that day;
The day I picked up my beloved guitar.

Just a Little Guitar Dot Com

I got this beginners electric guitar...
No! I didn't want to become a rock star..

I just loved the guitar too much...
I wasn't satisfied just by its touch...

I went to justin guitars.com
Like a kid getting lessons from his mom..

He teaches well, i dont deny it..
but i just cannot commit...

I dream of learning it all overnight...
but in reality it just gets farther away from my sight....

Great guitar gods out there....
i heard u play guitar just by moving fingers in the air...? ?

Teach me some cheap tricks...
A few guitar licks..

Teach me how to shred...
Till my fingernails are dripping blood...

Teach me how to get my god damn pinky moving...
I swear...it f**king doesnt show any scope of improving..

My friend is so obsessed with gilmour...
I cant stand him anymore...

He's been trying to bend those strings of his acoustic..
Trust me he could have done better with chicks..! ! .
This is our situation...
We need an upliftment now...
We need some musical rain..
Falling from above..

Great guitar gods out there...
I say, this is not at all fair...

U get to bend it, hammer it, pull off with perfection..
and we dont get even a tiny bit of attention...? ?

i mean we're noobies...agreed
but we are trying...
and i swear...
I am not lying..

Just what's the secret..?
I wanna know...
Learning may take time..
But i am miserably slow..

Great guitar gods out there..
Help us now alright...
Inject us with ur poison..
Shoot us with ur love gun..

Again, we are just noobies...
We dont dream for joe sat or malmstien..
We just wanna play some decent music..
So please help us before we fall sick...

All we are asking for is..
Just a little guitar dot com.

Yellow Guitar

It’s nothing but me now and these strings
There’s nothing holding me in between
I bought this yellow guitar
And now its stole my heart

There’s nothing but your voice echoing in my head
And nothing to complain to
Yeah I bought this yellow guitar
To sing to you

Cause I got all these words circling my mind
Got to many nights I stayed awake to cry

There’s nothing but these strings now to prove who we are
Im left holding this yellow guitar

Cupids arrow has struck me hard
Surprised how much I am in love
With this yellow guitar

Wasted Youth

Wasted youth
Wasted youth
I remember everything!
I remember everything little thing, as if it happened yesterday
I was barely seventeen, and I once killed a boy with a fender guitar
I dont remember if it was a telecaster or a stratocaster
But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome, and a voice like a horny angel
I dont remember if it was a telecaster or a stratocaster
But I do remember that it wasnt at all easy
It required the perfect combanation of the right power chords
And the percise angel from which to strike!
The guitar bled for about a week afterwords
And the blood was zoot, dark and rich, like wild berrys
The blood of the guitar was chuck berry red
The guitar bled for about a week afterwords
But it rung out beautifly
And I was able to play notes that I had never even heard before
So I took my guitar
And I smashed it aganist the wall
I smashed it aganist the floor
I smashed it aganist the body of a varisty cheerleader
Smashed it aganist the hood of a car
Smasned it aganist a 1981 harley-davaidson
The harley howled in pain
The guitar howled in heat
And I ran up the stairs to my parents bedroom
Mommy and daddy were sleeping in the moonlight
Slowly I opened the door
Creeping in the shadows right up to the foot of their bed
I raised the guitar high above my head
And just as I was about to bring the guitar crashing down upon the center of the bed
My father woke up, screaming stop!
Wait a minute. stop it boy. what do you think your doing?
Thats no way to treat an expensive musical instrument
And I said, God damn it daddy,
You know I love you, but youve got a hell of a lot to learn about rock n roll

Rocking With My Guitar

I'M JUST SITING HERE STRUMMING
WITH MY GUITAR IN HAND
FEELING SO RELAX
WITH EVERY CHORD I TOUCH MAN
AND ROCKING AWAY
FROM WHAT THE GREAT ONES WROTE
BY FOLLOWING EACH MUSIC NOTE
AND PICTURING ME IN THERE BAND
ASK TO DO A SOLO ON MY GUITAR
AND FEELING LIKE A BRIEF SUPER STAR
IF FRONT OF THE CROWD
CHEERING AND JEERING FOR ME
WHEN I JUMP IN THE AIR
WITH MY GUITAR IN HAND
READY TO DO ANOTHER CLASSIC SONG
AND STILL THERE SCREAMING
CLAPPING ALONG
UNTIL I COME BACK TO EARTH
PUTTING MY GUITAR GENTLY IN IT'S STAND
NEXT TO MY READING LIGHT
AND QUIETLY CALL IT A RIGHT
