Good things come to those who Wait
When people get abusive someway
Are spreading hostility and hate
Harness your emotions, control your state
Indulge neither in discussion, nor debate
Leave certain things to God and fate
Good things come to those who wait.
Spiteful words and double meaning talks
Backbiting and spying so difficult to tolerate
On encounters, they always negate
Cash in your patience, better to collate
Time will answer such foul mates
Good things come to those who wait
Patience is a virtue
Some learn, others have innate
Whether it present or future state
Gratification delays makes one Great
Tame your energies, stay steady and sedate
Good things come to those who wait.
Can you Relate?

You're All I Need
Album: Eternal (2001)
All alone for so long
All the hope I had in finding love was almost gone
Then an angel came along
Oh I believe good things come to those who wait
And destiny, girl I know it must be fate
Now I see, cuz I found my soulmate
You're all I need
Oh so wonderful, beautiful
But the words don't do you justice, girl
You're so much more
And I dedicate my life to love you so
Love you so, oh
Oh, I believe good things come to those who wait
And destiny, oh it must be fate
Cuz now I see, babe
Cuz I found my soulmate
You're all I need
Oh let me say it
I wanna say it again girl
Oh, I believe that good things come to those who wait
And destiny, girl I know it must be fate
Cuz now I see, cuz I found my soulmate
You're all I need
Never, never, never, never, never
Never leave me, babe
Stay right there, right there, right there
Oh, so hard to describe babe
You bring tears to my eyes
You're all I need

Worries Of Sorrow
When worries of sorrow
Comes in your way
Then don't get upset
Just learn to stay
calm and cool
To overcome them
And with courage
And virtue's hem
wait for good time
That is through narrow
But will surely come
If you wait till tomorrow
And leave some for
The future hours
For time has got
An excessive power
To heal the wounds
And all the pain
That gets in the way
Of everyone's lane
So with patience and hope
wait for the tomorrow
And try to cut on the
Worries of the sorrow.

Sonnet: Wait For Better Times
Sometimes, the way things happen don’t seem best;
At times, the conditions even worsen;
It turns to be for all a stressful test;
The bad relationships even deepen!
But wait some more and things will soon improve;
Whether ’tis drought or flood, each has a use;
All unexpected things will sooner prove,
That goodness comes from bad too and amuse.
Wait for more time and clouds will burst forth rain;
Wait for more time and sun will warm our skin;
Wait for more time and wind will breeze again;
Wait for more time and come we’ll out of sin!
God does all things with good intent of heart;
We must however do with faith, our part.

(V – 1988) Fighting Fate
Oh, things out of control we call real fate
For factors far unknown too decide our state!
But things there are we must not see as mere fate;
Such things if controlled can oh, alter our state!
No thunder or tyrant is ever such fate
If faced with courage and soon held to checkmate!
Oh, thou art the architect of thy own fate!
So fight well with will and thus safeguard thy state!
At times we may fall to some strange, cruel fate;
By them should never our will still abate!
With arrows of resolve and faith, fight thy fate!
Oh, give no space ever to stand or to wait!
So bow not or falter before any fate;
Oh, fear and despair will thy fate aggravate!
Grim panic and anguish will strengthen our fate;
They make us, oh, lick a time unduly late!
So well in advance to, oh, face any fate
Thou equip thyself and thus secure thy state!
Challenges of life are challenges of fate –
So meeting them well, oh, means living life great!
Sonnet: A Bit of Patience
A bit of patience works out miracles;
A bit of patience puts off arguments;
A bit of patience problems well tackles;
A bit of patience preserves monuments.
A bit of patience can avoid hatred;
A bit of patience cools one’s anger off;
A bit of patience marks well good kindred;
A bit of patience makes many to laugh.
A bit of patience keeps good friends at peace;
A bit of patience can avoid big wars;
A bit of patience can jealousy cease;
A bit of patience can avoid big scars.
A bit of patience gives good advantage;
A bit of patience is good heritage.

I Want to Be Everything to You
yesterday, i was think in rhythms
it's just like you and me to be that awesome
earth isn't a planet in the galaxy with a moon
it's where i live with you
my bed isn't where i lay
it's whenever we sleep, though night or day
songs that make me feel. good.
i like to relate them all to you
i can't wait to come home every night
to see you when i wake up is everything
i'm glad we both did things the way we did
so that things are the way they are
i want to be everything to you
in this realm, all is about the future
let's keep dreaming, so the future doesn't run out
but let's make the future the present
and your presence is the future of my past

Patience
Patience is a virtue.
You'll need it to stay true.
Whenever you are feeling blue.
Faith, and patience will always pull you through.
Though at times it may seem bleak,
and hope is very weak.
Be patient and you'll find what you now seek.
Love is patience which you really need.
Push too hard and good will leave.
The patient man will take the lead.
Rewarded well for this virtious seed.
With which he grew and paid his dues.
The impatient man will always lose.
So wait your turn, ignore the burn.
With patience now you'll not be spurned.

Sonnet: Patience
Wait for thy day, hour, opportunity;
Things don’t happen always as per scheduled;
Patience’s, a magical ability;
Than when hot, a man can do more when cooled.
Patience pays the user rich dividends!
The more one waits, the more will be returns;
The cracks in mind of revenge, patience mends;
Reward is sure before they take thine urns.
Wait on and on but seize thy golden chance,
That seldom knocks doors of a waiting heart;
Patience is asset when you time your dance;
If ill-chosen, it capsizes life’s cart.
Remarkable is Patience in man’s craft,
That works wonders, tho’ late in every art.

The Things That Dreams Are Made Of
Take time to see the wonders of the world
To see the things youve only ever heard of
Dream life the way you think it ought to be
See things you thought youd never ever see
Take a cruise to china
Or a train to spain
Go round the world
Again and again
Meet a girl on a boat
Meet a boy on a train
And fall in love
Without the pain
Everybody needs love and adventure
Everybody needs cash to spend
Everybody needs love and affection
Everybody needs 2 or 3 friends
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
Take a lift to the top of the empire state
Take a drive across the golden gate
March, march, march across red square
Do all the things youve ever dared
Everybody needs love and adventure
Everybody needs cash to spend
Everybody needs love and affection
Everybody needs 2 or 3 friends
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
Like fun and money and food and love
And things you never thought of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
New york, ice cream, tv, travel, good times
Norman wisdom, johnny, joey, dee dee, good times
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of

Give It Up
You got your sugar
You got your spice
You got a kitten
Now isn't that nice
You just can't wait for a picnic in Spring
I just get nauseous
When I think of those things
You wait and wait and you wait for a lifetime
For a little piece of cake in the night time yeah
You wait and wait you can't wait any longer
You wait and wait

Why do you come here ?
And why, why do you hang around ?
I'm so sorry, oh ...
I'm so sorry, oh, oh ...
Why do you come here
When you know it makes things hard for me ?
When you know, oh
Why do you come ?
Why do you telephone ? ahur...
And why, why send me silly notes ?
I'm so sorry
I'm so sorry, oh ...
Why do you come here
When you know it makes things hard for me ?
When you know, oh
Why do you come ?
It was because
Everything that i did
I wrote it down
On the wall
You had to sneak into my room
'just' to read my diary
"oh, it was just to see, just to see"
(all the things you knew i'd written about you...)
And oh so many illustrations
Oh, but
I'm so very sickened
Oh, i am so sickened now
Still, it was a good lay, good lay
It was a good lay, good lay
It was a good lay, good lay
Ah ...
Still, it was a good lay, good lay
It was a good lay, good lay
It was a good lay, good lay
A good lay, ah ...
Oh, it was a good lay
It was a good lay
It was a good lay
Oh, it was a good lay
Good lay, good lay
Oh
Oh, it was a good lay, good lay
Oh, it was a good lay, good lay
It was a good lay, good lay
Good lay, oh
Thankyou.

Sonnet: Forgetting The Past
Many things once done cannot be undone!
Like good or bad; birth or death; love or war;
But thinking of yester-years- could be fun;
Whether you had cycled or gone by car.
Could we have done things better on that day?
Rewriting pages of golden history!
These kinds of thoughts bug me even today;
What man keeps doing is great mystery!
But often ’tis late to recast the past;
We move on to the future hopefully;
As time won’t wait and we ought to be fast,
Let humans take all things most gracefully!
Fretting, fuming o’er past is of no use;
’Tis Presently good ’cause I am a Muse!

Space Between All Things
All the walls of your house,
were painted in deep blue,
you're at that indecisive age to choose colours that reflect you,
and everything and nothing,
is in the space between all things,
that fascinates as much as it agitates,
words turn me into what I say,
as you pull your yellow stained fingers,
through your un-kept hair,
I noticed that the corners of your jeans,
were folded neatly into squares,
your thoughts are the strangest place that you've ever been,
stranger even than Los Angeles,
it's like a cinema where they never ask you to leave,
So while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
She had a north Atlantic film star grace,
that's why her tears are out of place,
that kind sadness has more style,
so nothing will make her smile,
except as soon as anything happens,
she'll drag me on the street,
and hand in hand we stand protesting,
while everyone is still asleep,
So while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
so while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
Are you wait,
are you wait,
are you wait,
are you waaait,

Cant Wait
Ive been on this road a long time
Ive been travellin for days
But it seems Im getting nowhere
I just cant find my way
Ive been following directions
But they must be out of date
And I cant, and I cant, and I cant, no I cant
Decide which road to take
See Ive got to find my baby
Cause we need to work things out
Ive got to see that woman
I cannot do without her!
You know I cant wait, cant wait another moment
I cant wait, I cant wait another heartbeat
No I cant wait, cant wait another moment
I couldnt wait another heartbeat
I cant wait until midnight
And the nights go on forever
These days I get no sleep
And I miss her more than ever
Inside where love runs deep
Oh I know Im going to find her
Cause Im following this star
And I cant, and I cant, no I cant turn back
Oh lord, Ive come so far
And Ill know shell whisper in my ear
bout all the things Ive missed
Shes got that way about her now
I never could resist
And now I cant wait, cant wait another moment
No I cant wait, I cant wait another heartbeat
I cant wait, cant wait another moment
I couldnt wait another heartbeat
I cant wait until midnight
No I cant wait
I cant wait another moment
I couldnt wait another heartbeat
I cant wait until the midnight
Now I cant wait
No no no cant wait
No no no
Cant wait
No no no
Cant wait

Wait For Me
All these miles, haunting questions linger in my mind.
And all the while, making bad decisions out of line.
Still I've tried, to let go of the danger in my life.
It's alright, when that's the only thing I've left behind.
And there's still time...
Wait for me. There's so much more of life for us to see.
You must believe, it's not because of you I've had to leave.
Wait for me. I only hope that you'll remember me.
At this time, I'm counting all the reasons I should stay.
Bottom line. I'm missing all the things I gave away.
I remind, and see your face every single day.
Still I'm blind. I wish that there was something I could say
To make things right...
Wait for me. There's so much more of life for us to see.
You must believe, it's not because of you I've had to leave.
Wait for me. I only hope that you'll remember me.
Just hold on a little bit longer.
Thoughts and memories will be enough
My need for you is only growing stronger.
I know you don't understand it much
But it doesn't mean I have to care about you any less
It doesn't have a thing to do with that.
There's still so many questions that are gonna' be addressed
I'm sorry that it had to be like this.
But there's still time to make things right.
Wait for me. There's so much more of life for us to see.
You must believe, it's not because of you I've had to leave.
Wait for me. I only hope that you'll remember me.

That Can Wait
As you are growing older,
The time just flies with fate,
Some normal chores can be done
While other chores can wait. Try to have fun every day,
Plan for another state,
Yet slow down for more pleasure
Because the rest can wait. Pleasure becomes important,
and golf may be the bait,
Enjoy the fun of playing,
Since other things can wait. Trips can be quite wonderful,
When you surprise your mate,
Other plans will change quickly,
But they can surely wait. Try to write a new poem,
Then plan completion date,
Enter it in the contest,
Everything else can wait.

In Time
'In good time, when I am ready,
Wondrous schemes shall I unfold;
But we must be cautious, steady,
Cleaving to the safe and old.
Patience, prudence must prevail;
They who venture often fail.'
Thus the politician, weakly
Of the big things of the State;
While the patient public, meekly
Wait, and ever hopeful, wait;
While he slyly woos their vote
With shrewd turnings of his coat.
But, in time, when other people
Populate this troubled world,
Lo, from housetop and from steeple,
Futile curses will be hurled
Curses on the shiftless ones,
Feckless robbers of their sons.
When the last good tree has withered
In an arid, rainless clime,
Then the weary soul who blithered
Of the verdancy of Time
Will grow restless in his grave,
While his baulked descendants rave.
They will curse the generation
That has beggared them by stealth;
Curse the mad procrastination
That has robbed the land of wealth
Wealth their foolish fathers spent,
Reckless and improvident.
'What care we?' declare the spoilers.
'We have ample for to-day!
Other ages, other toilers
Let them suffer as they may.
Let the nation's hope be killed,
That our bellies may be filled!
'If to-day our wealth be doubled,
If to-day our trade be good,
Why should we be plagued and troubled
With vague dreams of nationhood?
For our selfish purpose we
Gaily rob prosperity.'
Robbers of coming race,
Glibly crying 'In good time.'
If one good ye had to face
Sons, and answer for your crime,
With that cry still in your throats,
How, then, would ye scheme for votes?

Wait
(berry/buck/mills/stipe)
You got your problems darling
I got mine too
You know that
Maybe its time for you to come through
Because Im fed up with waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do?
Ive almost given up hope
Then what else is new?
You know that
Im at the end of my rope trying to hang on to you
Because my patience is wearing thin just waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do
You better wait (wait!)
Dont go away now darling, wait (wait!)
Why dont you stay?
You better wait (wait!)
Dont go away now, wait (wait!)
Why dont you stay?
(chorus)
I know that youre confused
Its no crime
You better hurry sugar
Cuz were running out of time
Because my patience is wearing thin just waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do?
(repeat chorus)
I dont wanna walk on the same stage with you
Then the bells begin to blow in my head
If things dont turn out right
Its gonna be all right
(repeat chorus 4x)

Double Take
Keep off the track
And keep your feet
Down and you're only saving me
It's not easy staring at me
Look at the way I'm feeling weak
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait
Keep off the track
And keep your feet
Turn up the face of the recipe
But I want you to come up to me
I wanna look before I leap
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait
I'll wait
'Cos I will hide away
Will you follow me
I don't know what to say
But I know what I see
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait for another double take
From you
'Cos I don't know what to do
I'll wait
I'll wait
I'll wait
I'll wait
