You Keep Your Lips and What's Behind Them Zipped

You keep your lips and what's behind them zipped.
No explanation do you give for this.
But then you expect understanding given for it.
And you're bottled up.
You're bottled up!

You do a tantrum dance and go into your fits.
You spit words of venom with a delivered hiss.
And then you wish somebody to bring to you gifts.
And you're bottled up.
You're bottled up!

What makes you think you are deserving of it?
You're not even using those you've been blessed with.
You curse the Earth and spit on it,
When you should give it a kiss!
And you're bottled up.
You're bottled up!
And you're bottled up...
With a half filled cup.

You keep your lips and what's behind them zipped.
No explanation do you give for this.
With your jaws tight together like a big hypocrite.
And you're bottled up.
You're bottled up!
And you're bottled up...
With a half filled cup.
You're bottled up!
You are bottled up.
With guts sucked in and ready to explode,
On a moment's noticed!

Easier To Monitor

Shut down and zipped.
Estranged from entangled arrangements.
To meet for 'this' and not having 'that' delivered!
Games of 'chase and catch me' seem so blasé,
When played between adults...
Who react more like disturbed children today!

Shut down...
Zipped and doo dah(ed) out!
When I arrived at irritation,
I knew quickly that was not my destination!
I wasn't willing to digest...
Another round of annoyance,
Just to test my perfection at sealing my lips
And biting my tongue,
As I witness rolling eyes and hands on hips.
Expecting me to sit through another round of fits!
I've learned how to hum hymns...
That come out of the blue!
With a quick 'hit' for a boosting lift!

'O Come all Ye Faithful...
Joyful and Triumphant.
Come Ye O Peace of Mind,
Without Gun In Hand! '

Splitting...
Shut down I did and glad it happened!
Do I miss the opportunity
Of freelancing headaches...
To quiet a guilty need to be involved and sharing?
No!
Not when that is attacked and misunderstood,
By those who only understand evil...
And not comprehend what's good!
For their own well-being
In their own neighborhoods!

Some lesson plans have been discarded,
Along the way!
Teaching 'cats' the basics of hygiene...
Is not one of my magic tricks!
Or my forte...
Mothering is not on the resumé.
I don't do the 'blues' as a lullaby well!

And for this...
Qualifications are asked and expected!
While the infestation of delusion goes on!
Prolonged without my involvement!

I've shut down!
Zipped my lips and skipped my 'doo dah' out!
I had to...
To keep my own 'piece' much easier,
To monitor!
Some things have to be kept sacred!

Flying Saucer (Fun Poem 9)

Two little men in their flying Saucer
Came through the atmosphere
They zipped around the world a couple of times
Decided they didn’t like what they saw
They said the world had one big flaw
It was filled with humans
So they quickly left and that’s all

Party Time

Party, party, party, its party time
Friday night, Im on my way
Im steppin out
Ive been working all day
You better watch out
cause Im on the streets tonight
Well its party time, Im all zipped up
Its hot tonight and Im ready for love
Jack me up
cause Im on the loose tonight
I want a little action, some company
No main attraction, no star on tv
No long engagement
Reach straight for the gun
No permanent arrangement
I just want some fun
Party, gonna be a party
Party, oh its party time
Well its 9 oclock, Im all juiced up
Gonna find a club
Gonna get hooked up
Where its happy hour till 3 am
She gave me 2 for 1
We made a deal
She gave me 3 for 1
Im thinkin is this real
Ill give you 4 to 1
If you let me drive you home
She said I want some
Action honey, company
Physical attraction is
Good enough for me
No misconception
I just want some fun
No permanent arrangement
As she reached for the gun
Party, were gonna have a party
Party, she said this is party time
Saturday, Im on my way
Steppin out
Ive been sleeping all day
You better watch out
cause Im on the streets again
Well its party time, Im all zipped up
Im hot tonight
And Im ready for love
Jack me up, Im on the loose tonight
I want some little action
Some company
No main attraction, no star on tv
No long engagement
Reach straight for that gun
No permanent arrangement
I just want some fun
Party, gonna be a party
Party, oh yes this is party time
Party, gonna be a party
Party, this is party time
Its nine oclock, Im steppin out
Im gonna find a club
So you better watch out
Im lookin for some fun
Im lookin for a party
Some physical attraction
Should get me started

From-To

sun sets
night falls

the Angel ran a few steps as he touched down
next to the diesel-pumps
on the service-station forecourt

shook his
they would call them wings

just checking-in
he made a celestial call
please behave
we can't afford another fall

then zipped inside his quilted anorak
he hitched a lift

and unsurprisingly
set some deluded girl adrift

Love Sonnet 30 My Love, We Ventured Deep In Raging Storms,

My love, we ventured deep in raging storms,
Have groped in fogs, plodded on snow,
Endured the scroll, aligned to rules and norms,
Would we then die in calm, as no winds blow?
For ships are stranded in such windless trips,
Like dormant love, with passion locked and zipped,
Should love pour grandly, or just dropp in drips,
Loosely held to fly, or killed tightly gripped?
Worst is when novelty has flown elsewhere,
Hearts grown familiar crave variety,
Or else, become too scarce, treading somewhere,
Tied in search of wanting satiety;
….So care that none of these laces your dreams,
….As we conduct love tried to the extremes.

Get Goin

It's a real cold Mornin
And I find it hard to get Goin
I left my warm, Snug, Bed
Must be out of My Head

I hope it was not a Mistake
But once, I'm up and Awake
It's a beautiful January Day
And I am finding it very OK!

I've worked all Day
Played half the Nigh
Find myself at Home
Zipped up Tight

In my Bed as I Lay
Tomorrow is another Day
Now I am, Snug and Warm
But in the Mornin I'll have to Perform

Pandering

In a haunting trove -;
there was a synthetic insanity.
I asked the moon
to scan the chest.

Fever was rising.
You eject your eyes in a bowl
of silver to read the
lines of money.

A stark effect overwhelms
the spectrum, like the components
of a booty, to be digested
for deep flaws of society.

I should, if I could
rip open the zipped mouth
of black death to count the
teeth of shrunk questions.

After all it was democracy.

Darts

The bitter cold wind crawls like
A creepy insect,
Under my clothes to a bare skin.
The thick woollen jacket is zipped
Up to the chin,
I'm not differed from a black sheep.
The clumsy gloves are on.
All the lights is bright and the
Door is half-open.
I inhale the strong, invisible
Deadly fumes from the painted wood,
Won't do my lungs any good.
Yes it's pretty awkward
And there's homework in need of doing,
But right now
I want to be with my dad
In his shed
Throwing darts.

I Stuck It Out With Passion

I stuck it out with passion.
I was not in it for any other reason.
Some have a connection of high fashion meant.
A statement others can either fake or not mention.
I stuck it out with passion.
And nothing less could from me give.
Sometimes I felt pitiful,
In my attempts to deliver.
Hoping to please and satisfy.
But not overestimating the climax expected,
Or desired.
I stuck it out with passion...
And I hope that leaves someone relieved.
Since I have learned to produce feeling proud!
Keeping my lips zipped after each performance.

Song Beside A Sippy Cup

In the never truly ever
truly dark dark night, ever
blinds-zipped, slat-cut,
dark-parked light,
you (late) touch my toes
with your broad flat own
horny-nailed cold toes.
Clock-tock, wake-shock.

In the ever truly never
truly long long night, our
little snoring-snarling
wild-child mild-child
starling-darling wakes every
two, three (you-sleep) hours,
in the never truly ever
truly lawn brawn fawn dawn.

Becoming a Nun

For Jennifer Josephy

On cold days
it is easy to be reasonable,
to button the mouth against kisses,
dust the breasts
with talcum powder
& forget
the red pulp meat
of the heart.

On those days
it beats
like a digital clock-
not a beat at all
but a steady whirring
chilly as green neon,
luminous as numerals in the dark,
cool as electricity.

& I think:
I can live without it all-
love with its blood pump,
sex with its messy hungers,
men with their peacock strutting,
their silly sexual baggage,
their wet tongues in my ear
& their words like little sugar suckers
with sour centers.

On such days
I am zipped in my body suit,
I am wearing seven league red suede boots,
I am marching over the cobblestones
as if they were the heads of men,

& I am happy
as a seven-year-old virgin
holding Daddy's hand.

Don't touch.
Don't try to tempt me with your ripe persimmons.
Don't threaten me with your volcano.
The sky is clearer when I'm not in heat,
& the poems
are colder.

Smiling Culture

Should we have a reason,
to smile at people?
Should we have a reason or two,
to show the human spirit?

When our eyes meet,
we smile spontaneously,
and then move on,
to do our works. Nothing attached.

When our eyes meet,
and I smile,
The other mouth zipped,
but the eyes opened wide.

'He has made a cruel thing to me,
by not smiling back at me'.
'She has made such an act, smiling,
by not keeping the stone face'.

Is smiling an expression,
to invite the people to bed?
Is this friendly gesture,
an expression of corrupted mind?

We smile at everyone,
male and female
young and old,
educated and uneducated,
rich and poor,
healthy and healthy.
at any time, but
we would not smile,
the second time.

I took my baby to a party last night, ah-hah-hah,
She was so beautiful, she made me uptight, ah-hah-hah,
Up come a butcher with her ju jus alight, ah-hah-hah,
Its all da-da-da-down to goodnight vienna.
Felt like a bohunk but I kept up my cool, ah-hah-hah,
Green as a frog, man, I was back into school, ah-hah-hah,
Zipped up my mouth cause I was starting to drool, ah-hah-hah,
Its all da-da-da-down to goodnight vienna.
Git it up!
Git it up!
Git it up!
Git it up!
Its all da-da-da-down to goodnight vienna.
She said she loved me but I knew she was lying, ah-hah-hah,
Felt like an arab who was dancing through zion, ah-hah-hah,
Dont call no doctor when you just feel like crying, ah-hah-hah,
Its all da-da-da-down to goodnight vienna.
Uhuh-
Git it up!
Git it up!

Git it up!
I took my baby to a party last night, ah-hah-hah,
She was so beautiful, it made me uptight, ah-hah-hah,
Up came a doct.... with his needles in sight, ah-hah-hah,
Its all down to goodnight vienna.

Miles End

Chinese symbols on his robe
Never gonna match up with that smile
He's wearing mostly black and gold
It's been twelve days
The longest for a while
He's been fortunate
He can't tell a lie
Redheads, blondes, brunettes
They all fall for his lines
He's been king now for so long
His days are numbered
Times have changed, so move along
The dream is over
Draped across Egyptian linen
Even Cleopatra casts an eye
A gossamer see-through zipped up tracksuit
Champagne bottle, ten o'clock on fire
He's been fortunate
He cannot deny
Jacuzzi baronet
With soap suds in his eyes
He's been king now for so long
His days are numbered
Times have changed, so move along
The dream is over
He's been king now for so long
His days are numbered
Times have changed, so move along
The dream is over
We've been waiting for so long
We think it's over

Darling, Kiss Me

Darling, kiss me brief
Dance upon my lips
My heart aches for gratifying relief
Let our mouths be momentarily zipped

I can easily linger in your kiss
Day and night with pleasure
It is the bringer of my peace
A fundamental loving cure

I imagine tongues entwined in your kiss
As your lips gently caress my lips
Lightly, I undergo a sense of romantic bliss
While our tongues indulge in loving friendship

My heart is yours
Delightfully pure
Each day I want you more and more
Your delicious kisses I want wild and raw

Let us start by kissing passionately
Regardless of the occasion
Our destiny will be sealed fatefully
You keep calling for my inner celebration

Darling, kiss me strong
Let my hunger grow so deep
Darling, kiss me long
Each night before I go to sleep
Dance upon my lips
On this seraphic trip

The Mosquito's Bite

To tell a story I wield my pen,
Of a poacher who waited outside a den,
He cocked his gun and took his aim,
To shoot an animal he knew was lame.
The pug marks on the mud,
Revealed that it hobbled,
And instantly the poacher knew
That many a time it had stumbled.
Time flew by, the jungle became darker,
The night grew older, the huntsman became wearier.
From inside the den, he heard a soft growl,
And hoped that the tiger would soon be on the prowl.
Out of its home, the predator was on his way,
But little did he know that now he was the prey.
The gunner fired with deadly precision,
At the tiger in his sight,
But at that instant, from a mosquito,
His trigger finger took a bite.
The shot awakened the entire jungle,
But it did not hit its mark,
The bullet zipped past its target,
And slammed into a tree's bark.
The Hunter cried out in pain,
All his efforts had gone in vain!
The tiger turned around and fled,
Into the undergrowth, across a grassy bed.

A miracle saved this tiger but many others are not so lucky!

Shuffle Ball Change

No desires today,
Do I have...
To do a shuffle ball change.
Are you kidding?

I made a mistake in my tap dance class,
To ask the instructor Ms Phyllis Stone...
What purpose did that have in 'my' routine?
That was in 1951 or '2'.

Well...
Ms Stone was determined I would find that purpose.
On Westland Street.
In Hartford, Connecticut.

Every lesson...
She made me do that shuffle ball change to perfection.
And also helped developed my taste,
For respecting those in teaching positions.
I could not 'stand' them!
But I listened with zipped lips.

There was a number assigned to enlisted men,
When connected to the military.
That number is in my head.
And I can recite that just as quickly...
As my feet can deliver that shuffle ball change.
Seriously.

Some impressions are meant to stick and never leave.

'Uh...er..Mister Pertillar?
Feet!
Move them.
You're not finished.
Unless I say you're finished.
Ana 1 ana 2 ana 3...ana 4...
Tata tata...tata tata...'
