Crucify Me

I hurt the ones I love the most.
My truths, they were all lies.
It was too late when I realized.
That she had said goodbye.

Say Goodbye to all I was.
That person is no more.
He took his things and packed them up.
And threw him out the door

I was the unholy trinity.
It was me, myself & I.
Living my life just like a blind man.
While life around me died.

All the drugs and alcohol.
The lies, deceit and lust.
The ways of me were acid.
Dissolving all the trust.

When all was lost I took a chance.
Fell to my knees and prayed.
I was tired of the unholy trinity.
And always being afraid.

I heard a voice, so soft and calm.
He told me what to do.
“I can take your life all full of lies,
And make your dreams come true.”

“Confront your past.”, the voice it said.
“See everything you've done.”.
I did and vowed to change my ways.
My new life had begun.

His grace and mercy took my past.
He pulled it from my chest.
And then I was as light as air.
I finally felt at rest.

The first gift I received that day.
It was my Father's eyes.
I now saw things in a different light.
And I began to rise.

He took my soil, and broke it up.
His seeds began to root.
I knew the hill was steep and long.
But I looked forward to His fruit.

Down the path I journeyed on.
I failed but still I tried.
I knew I could do anything.
With Jesus by my side.

When things they seemed impossible.
I could no longer climb the hill.
Then I received His second gift.
The gift of Jesus' will.

So there it was, my roman cross.
My feet and hands I nailed.
I knew just what I had to do.
To succeed where I had failed.

I hung on the cross, it hurt so bad.
But knew this was the way.
To win back the ones that I hurt so bad.
It was the price I had to pay.

Her heart began to soften.
As I hung there bruised and broke.
I'd stay up there til it was done.
I'd do just as He spoke.

He showed me love is action.
And In his actions I believe.
So on my cross I will remain.
Until His third gift I receive.

His Gift

The gift it lies within you
It’s sits there wrapped up tight
It’s a gift one day you’ll open up
When God says the time is right

It’s a gift to do His bidding
It’s a gift that’ll change your life
And it will change the lives of others
And take away all your strife

But the puzzle has many pieces
And right now they just don’t fit
To see the bigger picture
You must not ever quit

The devil will try to deceive you
He’ll make your gift feel wrong
He’ll say it is a weakness
But in fact it will make you strong

He knows this gift can defeat him
So he will do his best
To wear you down and wear you out
Just know he will not rest

He will use the ones that love you
To make you feel ashamed
But just know our savior Jesus
Was ridiculed and defamed

This curse it is a blessing
One day you’ll truly know
That this thing you feel it holds you back
Will make your spirit grow

For our ways are not the Lord’s ways
And we are not as smart
As the maker of the heavens and earth
And the maker of your heart

When they were told about a savior
A warrior I bet they thought
A man with the arms like a gladiator
But the man they saw did not

He rode upon a donkey
And stories He did tell
They turned their backs on the man they saw
They bid the man farewell

They laughed as tortured and beat Him
Then they hung Him on a cross
The one’s who believed He was the one
Now believed that all was lost

“How could God do this to us? ”
“This Jesus I depise”
Then they threw the body inside a tomb
They did not know He’d rise

I bet they thought they knew it all
And had everything figured out
The man to save them from an oppressive life
But that’s not what it was about

This man He came to save them
He came to open up a door
A line to their creator
It wasn’t there before

Your Father truly loves you
For He sent His only son
And He hung His boy upon a Cross
And said that “It is done”

It wasn’t to make Himself look good
But to show His love is true
It will never leave and will never quit
He did this for me and you

This gift you have, it’s yours to share
One day I know you’ll see
The change you want in this crazy world
Is the change you have to be

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet God is, and all because of this,
The Gift He sent upon a Cross, God’s Gift to all those lost,
A gift that is deserved by none, the Gift of God’s own Son,
Our Blessed Savior, Jesus Christ, who came to give us life.

His Grace reaches far and wide, and no one shall be denied,
Who comes by faith to Him, Christ, who died for all their sin,
And all who seek His face, receive from Him amazing Grace,
Grace that opens up that door, to life with God forevermore.

It is a Grace that’s from above, guiding us here by His love,
A love that sent His only Son, to be the Savior of everyone,
With His love, comes a peace, that from God will not cease,
Peace unlike the world’s friend, inner peace that has no end.

God’s Grace truly changes men, in Christ they’re born again,
Sinful men of this earth, now bound for heaven by new birth,
Fallen men, now changed for life, in a world where sin is rife,
Now living life for the Lord, since His Grace was not ignored.

Grace will soften a hard heart, giving a life a brand new start,
By giving a soul eyes to see, God’s Truth, regarding eternity,
Turning a soul to the place, where they receive saving Grace,
At the Cross of Calvary, where Grace began for you and me.

Blessings

Count your blessings daily.
So you know what you can lose.
The difference between what's right and wrong.
It's up to you to choose.

Just listen to your conscience.
As it lie there very still.
Are the blessings you have not worth as much.
As a cheap and worthless thrill.

A voice that speaks inside your head.
Will say that it's okay.
So you take the chance and risk it all.
Then your blessings go away.

The trust you broke, the hurt you caused.
The love that you destroyed.
You made your life a misery.
But once it gave you joy.

It's not too late to make things right.
It may take a lot of time
To pay the price for your mistakes.
It's a mountain you must climb.

So heed these words, look up above.
For everything you lost.
If you pray, repent and make things right.
You'll rise up from your cross.

One day you may get everything back.
And have everything returned.
Just know the voice that says 'It's okay'.
Is the voice that'll get you burned.

Once you find Him, then you'll know.
How to live a life that's true.
Just ask yourself this simple phrase.
'What would Jesus do? '.

The Gift From God

The greatest gift to all the world, was from God for man to herald,
His Gift came in Incarnate Deity; The Word was flesh for all to see,
It was God’s Son, Christ Jesus, who was given by Him to all of us,
The Gift of Salvation given to all, to redeem man from Adam’s fall.

The Gift, who was the Great I AM, born a baby, to be God’s Lamb,
Coming to pay the ultimate price, as a baby to become a sacrifice,
As a man, Christ was put on a path, to receive for us, eternal wrath,
Upon a cross, at Mount Calvary, to bring Salvation, to you and me.

The Gift was sent through Israel, as He came to do His Father’s will,
By The Father, He was sent to them, in that little town of Bethlehem,
To the House of Bread He was to be, Bread of Life for you and me,
From above came The Bread of Life, God’s Only Son, Jesus Christ.

Well pleasing in the eyes of God, to shepherd us with staff and rod,
Leading hearts of men from Calvary, to New Life with God Eternally,
New life that begins on the earth, born from above, by second birth,
A spiritual birth provided by Grace, when His Gift you truly embrace.

He saves His people from their sin, and in our hearts, He lives within,
As Emmanuel, now God is with us, through the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
From the very moment we believed, and the Gift of God we received,
With His Spirit as our guarantee, we’ll live with Christ through Eternity.

Last Sunset

The old man staring out a frosted window.
Watching life his go by.
Wondering what could have been.
Had he only tried.

Things could have been so different.
He thinks with such regret.
His end is coming closer.
This is his last sunset.

He thinks of the love that he lost.
And how he let her go.
If he could turn back the hands of time,
His love for her he'd show.

Success it was his idol.
Money, work and fame.
His work's what he took serious.
His life was but a game.

A game he played against the odds.
He thought that he would win.
But money wasn't everything.
Much to his chagrin.

He remembered a story he heard one day,
About a man named Christ.
And all the lives this man had changed.
And changed without a price.

Their lives were complete and full of peace.
And all their dreams came true.
Not with money, work and fame.
But with how their spirits grew.

The old man knowing his end was near.
Called out to The One.
“Help me know just what I missed”
He cried out to God's son.

The man with tears now in his eyes.
Looked up to heaven above.
And felt a hand upon his arm.
That filled the man with love.

And then a hug, a warm embrace.
He held the man so tight.
He vowed to not let that man go.
Alone into the night.

The man he spoke to Jesus.
And repented all his sin.
Jesus spoke with a gentle voice,
“I know just where you've been.”

“That's why I came to save you,
and I hung upon my cross.
Even though your end is near.
Son, you're no longer lost.”

The man he then closed his eyes.
With a smile upon his face.
Knowing the home going to,
Was a much more loving place.

The Savior then he took his hand,
And led the old man's soul.
To an eternity full of peace.
From a life with no control.

The old man now young and looking down.
Wondering why did he wait,
To feel the joy that Jesus brought.
But at least it wasn't too late.

The Father will come running.
To his children when they cry.
For you only have one life to live.
So don't wait until your last goodbye.

Letting Go

I rise from my death.
My old life is done.
My new life is hardship.
The old life was fun.

Gave it all away.
Not the things that I owned.
The old seeds of my life.
And the things I had sown.

My life was about me.
And the things I could get.
At the expense of another.
In my ways I was set.

I had to lose all I loved.
It was then I could see.
All that I had been.
And not all I could be.

I think of a Man.
And the truths that He’d taught.
He’s the meaning of love.
And love I was not.

Maybe love of myself.
And I got what I gave.
Not the freedom I sought.
But the life of a slave.

I was a slave to the system.
I was chained to the soil.
My spirit was dying.
As my blood it did boil.

Only anger, resentment.
And bitterness remained.
As my spirit lay dying.
I was going insane.

Expectations of others.
What could benefit me?
But my truth was a lie.
And His truth set me free.

If you want the gift of the promise.
Put your life on the cross.
Give your life for another.
And you’ll find what you lost.

Accept others as they are.
Just like God did with us.
Let their path be their choosing.
In the Lord put your trust.

The price has been paid.
For your debts in advance.
So true love you could know.
If you give Him a chance.

His live he gave up.
For you and for me.
Not for who we are now.
But for who we can be.

You are not what you think.
You are more than you know.
If you want to find out.
Then you have to let go.

Awakenings

Confusion, uncertainties, low self esteem
Depression, tearfulness, fear in its extreme
Loss of self confidence in everything
That’s all I have experienced
How really, really dim.

My greatest sin, a shadow of love
For I have prayed day and night
The love in me may subside
Anger, hatred that’s what I found
Inside my heart, it comes alive.

I thought for awhile, bear in mind
That if I am as cold as an ice
I will not be hurt, sad in life
They will not care I told myself
Who do really care, I mutter.

But I was wrong, how selfish I was
Because the greatest gift of God above
Is the grace of love that He gave for us
The love, faith and hope I should have
To conquer the fear that once I had.

Now I knew that in our life
Food, shelter and air are not enough
God whispered to me one starry night
That without love in our heart
Our bones will dry, our spirit died.

Without that trauma and tears I sowed
I would never know God loves me so
He stayed, never leave me though
I was a fool to ignore Him I knew
Forgive me Lord, change me a new.

I considered all these sufferings
Not a cruel fate though it may seem
But the brightest light, rays that gleam
An opener to the concealed dreams
To reclaim the love I had lost in dim.

Unusual things happened in my life
As I looked back, now I’ve realized
God has a purpose, He lifted me up
So that I can change, He gave me chance
To redirect my way into His path.

Sharing The Ultimate Gift

I want to share a special gift with you that God has given to me,
This gift like most others that you will receive is absolutely free.

However unlike other gifts that you may have received in the past,
This special gift and this one alone through all eternity will last.

Although you can't see this gift, it's the greatest you can receive,
This gift is not in a box, but in the heart of all those who believe.

And even though this gift is one of a kind and very special indeed,
You'll surely want to give this gift away as soon as it is received.

Don't be concerned about giving away something you didn't use,
For God said “Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.”

This gift will surprise you on the day you decide to give it away,
You won't feel any loss at all with more to give the following day.

My friend you will be Eternally Grateful when you finally choose,
To truly embrace but give away this gift that you can never lose.

By now you know this gift is none other than Jesus Christ the Lord,
And your faithful sharing of this gift, by Him, will not be ignored.

For our Great Blessed Hope, who through the ages many have adored,
At His return will bring to all His faithful, an Everlasting Reward.

So the next gift you receive and think you'll treasure forevermore,
Remember that the only truly lasting gift is Jesus Christ The Lord.

My Redemption Poem

When satan fell,
for one wrong mistake.
He was thrown in hell,
it was all he could take.
For there was still light in him,
but with it was now doubt.
Upon his face grew a grin,
all he did was rage and shout.
He yelled to God 'Why did it have to be me? ',
but he didnt answer,
and satan did see.
That hell was his to rule,
with unimaginable pain,
he would truly be cruel.
To all the lost souls,
he was their Dark King.
With their blood in his bowl,
in their pain,
for him they would sing.
Over the eons he became insane,
but there was still light in him.
Hidden in a deep part of his soul,
a place he forgot to know.
And one day their blood spilled out of the bowl,
he felt something stir.
A sadness so deep,
with a pain so true.
He could never sleep,
so the pain was all he could know.
As he sat there,
with tears in his eyes,
he thought noone was there,
noone to hear his cries.
He heard a voice,
and this is what it said 'Son why do you cry? '
He couldnt believe what he heard,
and was voiceless.
God said 'Son your here by your own choice'.
And with that he felt,
in numerous times,
all the pain he had delt.
And now he seen,
that little light,
he could find that little gleam.
He fell to his knees,
for all to see.
He prayed to God,
saying 'Father can i be saved? '.
'Am i doomed to live a life in this darkness? '.
And God said to satan 'My son all you had to do was accept your choice',
and then he said 'My son ive forgiven all your sins, and i will make your soul pure again'.
And satan said 'My father i have waited eons to come home'.
And God said unto him 'You are forgiven, but this shall be your home, for this realm has made you strong'.
And then he felt all the pain gone,
with a heart now light.
His soul was now strong,
his black wings now turned white.
He knew now what his job was,
he was here to punish the evil.
But now he knew kindness,
but also he knew,
those that were evil,
were the ones he slew.
As God looked down at his son,
he seen what he knew would be.
His fallen son was now a keeper,
of all that was worldly bound.
His son did his duty,
and never uttered a sound.
For satan was white and new,
doing a job God could never do.
Satan could punish now,
with justice and right.
He finally accepted the choices he did sow,
he was God's beautiful angel,
so truly bright,
he was God's most beautiful shining light.
And God thought to himself 'There is hope for all my children. For I will always be there in their hheart and soul.I am their forgiveness and salvation'.
And as time went on,
satan did his job without break.
His heart was growing long,
he finally had all he could take.
He fell to his knees,
and said to God 'Evil is all i see, and my light has grown dim'.
He prayed for peace of mind,
and a life,
where he satan could be kind.
He prayed for a life without strief,
so simple and nice.
And God said to him 'Satan my son, you have done what no other would, your love for me let you do what you could'.
And satan said to him 'Father please, hear me in this.My only goal was to serve you forever. But this task you gave me could not be done for all time'.
And God sat there and thought,
for long he could not see.
This terrible gift he had bought,
given to satan alone from me.
And God said to him 'My son you have a pure heart and soul'.
He thought of his gift to him,
a job he thought his son could handle.
But his son's heart had grown heavy and dim,
soon it was to be but a flickering candle.
So God said to him 'My son i have done a terrible thing.I have given you a job, that has caused you pain.Your strenght has kept you sane. This i give you son, ask of me one thing and i will see to it it's done'.
As satan was on his knees,
he thought of what God promised.
Satan made his cries heard,
and this is what he said.
'Father I love you with all my soul, you are what saved me, you again made me whole. This is what I ask of you, give me peace of mind, and a place at your side, give me an angel to love, make her my bride'.
Satan said to him 'Father this is all I ask, this is all I want. For me to be back at your side, with my love for you I will not hide'.
God looked upon his son,
with tears in his eyes.
His son was home,
with his father in the sky.
And God said to his son 'You have lived a life in pain and misery, but I now see that you were always pure and whole. My son I will give you this, come home to me, and be by my side, come home, and find love, and piece of mind.My son now you can be gentle and kind'.
Satan looked upon his father,
with tears in his eyes.
He went a little further,
into God's light,
to be with him in the skies.
All satan could say was 'Father I am home, with you my Lord.My mind is now at peace.Father you have given me the greatest gift. You gave me your love and light. You haved saved me from the dark, with you at my side, I will never again be trapped in this eternal night.I will be your son, always at your side.I will do your bidding, but I ask of you. Please Father never make me kill again. This is all I ask of you father'.
God was not surprised by this,
for he knew his son was pure and true.
This was not something he would miss,
for his son was now new.
For the rest of time forever,
satan stood at God's side,
For his love for God would fade never,
his son glowed from his love for him,
his love for his Father he would never hide.
Satan was evermore pure and white,
he was God's greatest angel,
he shone so bright,
with his radiant light.
Gone was the darkness in his soul,
and eyes clear and blue.
His love for his father had made him whole,
he loved everything he knew.
When time was coming to an end,
and all was doomed to die.
Satan now with a heart so kind,
and he asks his father for a gift.
He asked God 'Father you have granted me peace, and love, and being by your side. But why will you let mankind die? '
And God said to his son 'My son, mankind has become evil, and corrupt. They have shunned me for far to long'.
As god said this to him, he noticed his son's eyes dim.
And he could not understand why,
that this little event,
would make his sone cry.
And satan looked upon his Father,
his Saviour,
his light.
Satan said to God 'Father at one time I forsaked your name, I cursed your very being.I was more evil than any human being that has ever been born. But as with me they can be taught, the lessons that there actions have brought. Please Father forgive them, and be their light.Your the only one that can save their souls. For me do this Father'.
As gos looked in his son's eyes,
all he could see was true love.
As his son fell to his knees,
with his wings white as a dove.
His son looked him in the eyes, and satan began to cry.
He said to God 'Father I will give my soul to help mankind. For they are like me, they just need peace of mind. For them I will die, so they can be forgiven.I do this for you Father, this im my choice.Let your heart hear your son's voice.Do this for me Father, spare mankind.I will give all I am, to teach them to be true of heart, to love eachother, to be in your flock and find your light.Father I give them my soul, and you my life.Just stop this disaster from happening, and spare their lives. If you do this for me Father I will be at peace to give my soul and life to save them all.I do this for them, to prevent their fall. Please Father do this for me'.
As God listened to these words,
he truly couldnt believe,
these words he heard.
For his son couldnt bear,
to see them in pain. With so much ove in his heart,
all satan could was care.
He would give his life,
to end their strief.
To bring all the lost children,
into his Fathers light.
God could see,
with clarity of mind.
That his son on his knees,
was truly kind.
More so then his Father,
who had given up on mankind.
His son would lose it all,
to prevent their fall.
So there stood and thought,
what his actions had bought.
He would now lose his son,
satan was gonna die.
He put his hands on his son's head,
and he began to cry.
For his son he got back,
was asking to die.
His son wanted to banish their dark,
with his love so pure.
And God said to satan 'My son if this is your wish, than i grant it to you.Your life for theirs, a second chance they will get.To come into the light, and know my love.My son with the soul of a dove, you will be apart of their hearts. This I do for you for a fresh new start. For I cannot bear to lose you.Especially now that you are so kind. But I onlt do this for you, because my love for you knows no bounds. You are my true son, the kindest around. So son know this for your life they will live, but you will be with them, a part of their souls. For this way I will not truly lose you'.
As satan heard these words,
his heart filled with joy.
For through him,
they would live.
For his heart and soul,
and love for them unbound.
He would save their lives,
his love would make them whole.
He would be a part of them,
his love would be spread around.
He would save them all,
with his radiant light.
He would stop their fall,
he would bring them out of the night.
Satan looked at God,
and as he rose he said 'Father im ready. To give my life and soul for them.I know your sad Father, but remember I will be apart of them all.I will be the light and love in their hearts and soul.I will always be with you my Father, but it is my time to prove to you my love.Let the light rain from Heaven, a healing from above.Father it is my time to go, but remember this, we all fall from the path, we all shy from the light, but we also can be forgiven.By you my Lord'.
As God heard his son say bye,
he knew he would be lonely now,
all by himeself in the sky.
His son that was once evil,
and shunned his name.
Was giving his life,
to get rid of all their pain.
The son who served with all his heart,
was walking into the light,
to give them a new start.
God's heart broke a little,
as he seen his son die.
Everything now seemed brittle,
and he began to cry.
Fo Heaven had lost a soul,
who was truly selfless,
to die for them,
to make them once again whole.
God said to himself 'Mankind you have been forgiven, ..through my son's sacrifice for you.He gave his life, so I would spare you all.Satan gave himself to stop your fall. His soul and love now live in everyone of you.Though I never thought that it would be a fallen ones soul, a soul that was truthfully was always pure, even though he was evil, and did terrible things. My son showed me everyone could be forgiven. His love and wisdom saved you all.Now in Heaven I hear the angels call. For they have lost a brother.Be happy humans, for now your souls are white and pure now.Through my son's actions, his ultimate sacrifice for you.You are all now in my light.Be at peace my children, and remember the sacrifice satan made for you.Remember that his love for you, made me lose a son.But I forgive you for all. With your hearts now light, sing for him and stand tall. Now I will grieve for my lost son.Satan come back to me'.
As the world began anew,
people woke with light to see.
The world was fresh,
like the morning dew.
Satans sacrifice had saved them all,
he gave everything,
for mankind to love again,
and save them from their fall.
With their souls now white and pure,
they mahe the world great.
With his soul and love,
now apiece of everyone.
Mankinds souls soared,
as white as a dove.
They praised God's name,
with love and joy.
Satans sacrifice was not in vain,
as he kept his promise to his Father.
His life had made the world sane,
with his light and love,
within their heart.
Satans sacrifice was for love,
his life gave them all a new start.
As God sat and cried,
for his son he lost.
Mabey he wouldnt have died,
if he hadnt given up.
His actions had brought this on,
the one mistake he ever made.
Something his son couldnt take,
for his soul was to pure.
His heart broke as he seen,
what was happening to mankind.
Mabey if I hadnt given up on them,
this wouldnt of been.
Now my son is gone out of love,
for he cared for everyone but himself.
He was my son,
my light,
my dove.
As God cried,
he heard a voice in his head.
It said this 'Father remember I will always be with you in your heart. When I seen you give up on mankind, it broke my heart.I loved them to much to let them die.So I made the choice to give everything I was, all my light, soul, and love to save them.So do not be sad Father, for I have redeemed myself for everything ive done bad.I gave myself for them to remind you that everyone, no matter how bad or evil they were, or the sins they commited, can all be forgived. This is why im now apart of them all, to guide them on the right path. The path to the Kingdom of Heaven, to you my Father, my Lord.Always remember what I did for them Father, was because I loved them all, and needed to remind you that we cant give up on the ones we love.Always remember me Father, your son will always be with you in your heart'.
As God heard his son's voice,
in his soul and heart.
He knew satans choice,
was all about a new start.
As he realized this,
he couldnt cry.
For now he knew,
that his son had to die.
For satans love was bright,
and blue.
And it showed God,
his son's true light.
In the end,
with satans sacrifice for humankind.
He helped the world to began again,
and his sacrifice was for all of them
He put his Fathers mind at peace,
and saved all humankind.
And God would love them all,
for his son's sacrifice of love.
He would never give up on them again,
so he set free one white dove,
they knew they had been forgiven,
they knew they were loved..

Life's A Gift

Life’s a gift for you to send
Life’s a gift for god to end
Life’s a gift now you’re with me
Life’s a gift for all to see
Life’s a gift when love is true
Life’s a gift when times look blue
Life’s a gift with the one you trust
Life’s a gift even if UN just
Life’s a gift a ray of sun
Life’s a gift though your heads held to a gun
Life’s a gift when its handed on a tray
Life’s a gift even though it’s always on display
Life’s a gift it’s hard to understand how
Life’s a gift so take advantage of it now

Dedicated To My Mom

It didn’t hurt when, I failed my freshman year
I knew that in a way I had to so our family can stay together
It didn’t hurt when I had to go live with my dad
I knew it was best and I would be able to with you again
It didn’t hurt when I stayed with dad almost over a year,
I knew what we had to fix would take more time
It didn’t hurt when I started living with you,
I knew that our lives are going to change forever.
It didn’t hurt went I went to your graduation for life works.
I was proud to see you clean and full of life.
Tears were shed,
Feelings were shared,
Stories were told,
Hugs were given,
And lives were changed.
I knew our lives were going to be different,
As long as I have you there to guide me along the way,
I know I will succeed.
This is for you mom for doing great,
For getting what you had to get done,
Achieved.
I love you,
And am proud to be your daughter,
So I wanted to show it to you.
So this is for you.
Mom,
Seeing you graduate from your classes inspired me,
I know now that,
If you stick to something you can
Conquer it.
I got to see you graduate and now you can see me.
So this is for you,
Mom.

Say Goodbye

Who is she?
This beautiful creature
Insisting on being alone?
It would all make sense
If you could hear her on the phone:
Hello,who's there?
Oh no
How'd you find me
I gotta go
Don't wanna hear
Another lie
You tell me that you love me
And you promise that you'll change
You broke my heart
This time we're through
Now say goodbye
Say goodbye
Say goodbye
It's too late to give it one more try
You'll always have my heart
I guess you knew it from the start
But if you love me
Say goodbye
I take you back
And then
You go and hurt me
I've had enough
I'm such a fool
I don't know why
I've got to start my life again
It's over can't you see
This time it's done
It's really done
Please say goodbye
Say goodbye
Say goodbye
It's too late to give it one more try
You'll always have my heart
I guess you knew it from the start
But if you love me
Say goodbye
And the nights are gonna get easier
That's what they say
See, sometimes I don't even think about you
I don't even dream about you
Sometimes I don't even miss you
Night and day
Say goodbye
Please say goodbye
Baby it's too late to give it one more try
You'll always have my heart
I guess you knew it from the start
But if you love me
Say goodbye
If you love me
If you love me
Say goodbye

Savior

I thought about a problem.
Then I obsessed.
My mind went into overdrive.
And I got depressed.

It’s like it’s infected.
That part of my brain.
The lies, not reality.
That drove me insane.

I was born this way.
And most of us were.
I wondered about Jesus.
But never was sure.

Then one day I found Him.
From the bottom of my life.
He removed all my anger.
And removed all my strife.

He showed me a way.
I knew not before.
It was when I did knock.
That He opened the door.

I felt so not worthy.
He assured me I am.
For my sins have been cleansed.
By the blood of the lamb.

It was He who became.
All the bad things I’ve done.
And all the things that I’ll do.
I was saved by The Son.

So I thank you my Jesus.
For the price that you paid
And my ways of the old.
At the cross they’ve been laid.

Couldn't Be Mine

My words desert me
So anything can hurt me without you
Just the little things get to me
You’re here to help me up the mountain
So what happens now
There is no lack in fight or love for you
It doesn’t matter what anyone says
There is only a few who really speak up
When they do they are just jealous of the passion that we share

I had to change
I had to climb up that hill that I’ve been at the bottom for so long
For no longer will I stay behind that glass door
Where no one can see the part of me that makes me
Me
Before you everyone saw the reflection of who I am
Now when I’m with you they see the real me
That is why I love you
You’re the one that gave me the courage and the strength
To smash that glass door and step into the light with you

Or that was the case two months ago
But
From the sound of my heart breaking
Your voice only telling it that you love her
And that you don’t love me comes
The tears of loneliness
I couldn’t change it you were going to break my heart
I already knew
Before you whispered into my soul that night on the floor
Every night could be a fantasy for you and me
Only if you would give me a chance
For this is only my second dance
My heart was unprepared to be hit with a ton of bricks
My heart and body hurt from the trauma
My eyes hurt from the tears I’ve cried

I can’t fight this feeling
This feeling of worthlessness and lonesome
I want to be in your arms
I want to see your blue eyes glisten into mine
I want to feel your kiss
I need to hear your charming voice saying that you love me
I will get over you
Even though I have slid back to the bottom
Of that hill I just got done climbing
I will make it to top

Because I will die standing on my feet
Rather then live on my knees
Because you simply couldn’t be mine

I Am What I Am

My life has become what it is by God's Grace and His Grace all alone,
For God chose me and sought me out, to make me one of His very own.

He provided in my life a witness through my wife of what I could be,
Though they were once darkened, through my eyes, His Grace I can see.

Because I never read it, I knew not the Truths in the Bible at all,
And that I was a sinner destined for Hell because of Adam's fall.

I was taught to believe that there was a God in the heavens up above,
But never was I told about God's Grace, Mercy and His Abundant Love.

I thought that my living a good life down on earth was simply enough,
For me to go into heaven when I died, to be with The Lord up above.

When I realized it was not me at all but only the Blood of The Cross,
The Lord filled me with His desire to share the Gospel with the lost.

When I began, the one thing that I lacked was the boldness to share,
The Eternal Truth of how The Lord loved me and how much He did care.

As I read the Bible, my first example was John the Baptist for sure,
When speaking of Jesus, he said, “I must be less so He can be more.”

This then filled me with The Lord's boldness and a new Eternal sight,
And with my eyes now on Eternity, Jesus became the center of my life.

I can truly say as the Apostle Paul did and with the same humble nod,
Today I am what I am, truly and only by the Grace of Almighty God.

Don't Give Up

I thought it was a failure, so I decided to quit
Not realizing success would come in just a little bit
I tried and tried and tried again but had nothing left to give
I knew that life it is so short, so I decided I would live
I left all I once valued and vowed to never look back
All I saw was emptiness and a world all full of black
So all my labor was in vein but I will never know
For the life that I have left behind I will never go
The pain and hurt and suffering and all I have been through
I lost a big part of myself, the part that I once knew
Now I'm old and wonder, what if I had tried
To chase the dream and find success, instead the dream had died
I wonder had I hung on more and maybe took a chance
Instead of a life of labor, I would have a life of dance
The one's we leave behind sometimes, are human and make mistakes
But never underestimate, the changes Jesus makes
For the odds they are against us, in a life that's full of sin
But I can guarantee you one thing, with Jesus you will win
So will you walk away from things, when your feeling down and beat
Or will you trust in the One, who can accomplish any feat
For he loves you more than you know and can complete any task
So remember you will never get, for something you never ask
So don't give up, keep trying. Or you will never find out
The victories that God will bring, that's what his plan's about.

Christmas wishes.

A Christmas tale so dear to me

Of Christmas past, now, and to be

A ghostly figure told each one

And this is how my tale begun

The 1st ghost showed me Christmas past

2 children playing with dreams to last

Parents watching as they grew

Each child was loved more than they knew

The 2nd ghost the one I fear

Christmas Day that soon is here

An empty room, a Christmas tree

With an empty space, where a gift should be

A jacket hangs behind a door

That once was worn but not no more

The 3rd ghost showed my future years

Christmas Days I share with tears

My Tale complete, the ghost was thru’

But looked at me as if he knew

For in my arms the ghost could see

The missing gift from beneath that tree

A gift I hold each year I live

My gift is love, but cannot give

To my only Son, who’s love must stay

In an ageing heart that will decay

The love I have has always grown

For the boy who’s name’s upon a stone

To mark the place where he must lay

The Son who was, my Christmas Day.

What is Grace?

What is Grace, what it does mean, what is it all about?

Well let me see if I can explain, I don't need to shout;

It's a special type of Gift, given with love,

When Jesus came to die, sent from Heaven above.

Take each letter and put a word, in exchange,

Then you'll get the answer I will rearrange;

It's the answer to the reason why Christ died for us,

It tells in one word the story, of the gift of the cross.

G is for God's, our loving heavenly Father,

R is for riches, such priceless gift, for each other;

A is for at, C is for Christ's, He is our Saviour,

And E is for expense, He paid the price, in our favor.

What a wondrous Gift, such selfless gift He gave,

Going to the cross of Calvary, our lost souls to save;

I that Christ that He chose to go there for me,

And all I needed to do, is to accept, Christ into me.

My Pathkeeper

If I chose to listen to what man had to say
Elvis would be still living today
The world would be flat
And that would be that
For my answers I have to pray
Only Jesus knows the way

How many times has man
Filled me with hope
When everything failed
Then I had to cope
With the fallout from their advice
But Jesus, He paid the price

Because of the cross
We all have been freed
For He cleansed the soil
And he planted the seed
The choices I make
Will only then show
If the seed will die or grow
We will reap just what we sow

My life was so empty,
But He filled it up
A great leap of faith,
Then I drank from His cup
Then the sun, it shone in,
From darkness to light
The lamb that was soiled
Now pure, clean and white

For years in my life
I only could mock
He makes me need
To be a part of his flock
I will no longer stray
I'll dispose of my pride
With You I will stay
I will stand by Your side

Thank you for Your mercy
Thank you for Your Grace
Because of Your will
I am back in the race
I fell off the path
But You made me rise
You show me the world
Through different eyes
So now I can see
I'm not blind anymore
From the destructive storm
You pulled me ashore
My vessel You guided
My hand You held tight
You never let go
You showed me Your fight
For Your plan is so perfect
Your plan is so sweet
Because of Your love
You make me complete.

The True Life

Those who trust in lying vanities
Forsake the grace that could be theirs
They try to earn what's freely given
The Gift to be as Heaven's heirs.

Novenas, masses, sacraments -
Idols mute and sadly worthless
Arrayed to be Deception's garment
These fail to give man holiness.

The Gift of Life came from the Cross
It is received by Faith and Trust
The LORD Christ Jesus paid the Cost
Only though Him, believe we must.

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.'

Romans 6: 23

'Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.'
