Sleepless eyes make sleepess night
Please world
Give me something to hold on tight,
For even though I have
Sleepless eyes that make sleepess night
I yearn to rest, a rest so peaceful
Only death can make it right.

The Crane And The Snake

The crane spreads its wings
while the snake coils to strike
both have great agility
and flamboyance when they fight

The crane hops, the the snake slithers
they sleep at night, near soft flowing rivers

For days the crane plays
bopping its head
swaying it many ways
before standing on one leg

All white
and inocently pure
the snake sees this dance
as an enticing lure

The snake slithers nearer
to have a better view
all this is happening
under a morning mist and dew

But the cranes alert
she knows whats there
peeking out from the bush
under this damp air

The snake gets closer
close enough to strike
the crane blocks with his wing
and postures for a fight

But the snake backs of
smiling at the crane
while the crane stands on that one leg
smiling back just the same.

Out of the dark
he came without a warning
the guarding light
I didn't see...

on a story tellers night
he spoke his words of wisdom
the tales he told from far beyond
that no one understood

He had the gift of prophecy
he wove a web of mystery
a thousend lifes shone gracious in his eyes

for too long you kept me waiting

He disappeared
in the early haze of morning
and with him left his prophecies

The Cause of Enmity between Snake and Man

Snake, the first owner of fire.
Dog, the robber of fire.
Man the last owner of fire.
The snake gave birth first to fire.
Thus fire, the first born of snake.
Thus snake, only owner of fire long ago.
One cold evening
The man dying of coldness
The dog seen it master dying of coldness
It went to snake house and begged
The snake, the mother of fire to let
It tail get warm of fire
The snake cordially welcomed the dog
The dog twisted it tail on fire
The tail caught the fire
The dog jumped over the snake in door
Ran quickly to it master, the man
The man took the grass and wood
And lit up the fire
The fire lit up in man’s house
And it extinguished in snake’s house
The snake come to get fire back
But the man attack the snake
The hostility between man and snake

Sleepless Night

Oh, there's a rude little lady
Livin' next to me.
Oh, she sure loves someone,
But it ain't me.
Ev'ry night at twelve o'clock,
They start to rock with all they got.
They keep it up all night.
It just ain't right.
They O.K. by me, I'm not.
He and she, they all right.
Once they start, they never stop
Through this sleepless night.
Once I was her lover.
It was so good to be.
Now she's got somebody else and I can't sleep.
Ooh, nothin' hurts people more than other people do.
But what can you do?
Meanwhile, upstairs, they O.K.

Light

Day and night
Is decided upon by light

Daylight is wondrous and bright
Darkness solely brings upon fright

Black and white
Is entirely lucid in light

The beauty of sight
Is valued broadest in light

Any form of fight
Must be done in light
Otherwise winning will be tight

In the absence of light
Hovering around will be our plight

We can't separate wrong from right
If we cannot see without the light

So light from the sun is fun
Essential for a battle to be won
As a fire ignites
Particles of dust reunite
The fiery orange light
Fends of the termites that bite

The candle or moonlight
Is always a special invite
Inspiring me to write
Spinning my imagination to great heights!

Light is good

Night fire

give me a fire
which rages with warmth

a comforting light

Where is the passion?
Where is the fight?
You once had a fire that
burned bright through the night
It shone through the mud you wallowed in
It shone through grief you were swallowed in
It outshone Hell's flames that licked at your heels
It outshone the light Death's door to you revealed

Takin a Bite in Liberty

Hold on let me grab that rattle snake
before it bites your utters and they fall
off no milk no hay sad day Ola) it(s o.k..

He will go to a different ranch the ranch
of pain, where we send the women hawks.
You know those old looking dried up ain't
had the sap God gave a pine tree seedling
for lightning strikes) it(a year from next week.

You got me all side traced from pain and
suffering plus I'm gettin excited thinking of
) it(swellon up after the snake chomps down
and shoots half an once of liquid fire in pop's
ole jhonson out board don't run nomore no how.

That's) it(s turning blue and green purple looky
veins busstun he's outa gass anyhow you git the

The Light And The Night

light of light night of night bind us in the dead of night. by lights bright light the deavil will fight. fight for the right to fight in the night. light will fight to end the night so all shall run and all shall fear for while the light and the night shall fight for all of time it is us in the mild that shall pay the price. not the light who thinks there right and not the night who wants to fight but the ones who are forever traped in the mild. with no way out we suffer like no othere in the night and in the light for all of time we watch the light and watch the night fight and fight untill we all turn to dust and are souls join the fight for the light or for the night one way or another we all shall join the fight.

Nights awake

sometimes when the demons
seem real all we need is
an inspiration to convince
us that morning comes after night
so many sleepless nights as
my dreams are constant nightmares
I've seen death come in
every form and size
and find it hard to believe
theres light at the end of the
tunnel. so many left this world
those that were near to me
i could never forget
I've kept a smile on my face
cause i believe there
still reason to smile
and maybe am just trying
to find out what it is
so in my final moments
i wander if my nightmares
we'll ever leave
and will my dreams return
i have search so much that
Ive gotten lost but its the
power in belief that a new day
awaits the weary is what
keep this vassel together
for sleepless night are so often
and days of sleep come
after time collapse by my side
so as am weary and weak
i look at the sky and
listen to the world sleep
as am awake for i no
i am not alone were just
to busy convincing ourself
we ain't got a problem
