Yellow
She loved yellows,
pinks and golds
and we thought
she'd live forever
so when we saw
her fading
and her colours
they were jading
we planted
daffodils.
They're all bobbing
in the garden,
pretty headed
flowers
but her light
has gone forever,
deep beneath
the gold corn hills
Perhaps by chance
she sees them still.

Who Wants To Live Forever
Words and music by brian may
Theres no time for us
Theres no place for us
What is this thing that builds our dreams yet slips away
From us
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever....?
Theres no chance for us
Its all decided for us
This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Who dares to love forever?
When love must die
But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is our today
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Forever is our today
Who waits forever anyway?

Carnations in the garden
There are carnations in the garden
in colours of ruby red,
pure white and blossom pink
and some pink with deep purple inside
and others purple-blue.
I smell the sweet fresh flowers
and look at colours
hue as if by magic
into each other.
Some grow in flowering pots,
some are planted in flowerbeds,
others even in the rock garden
and the flowers at places are mixed
to catch the eye
and everywhere there’s care
and a lot of love
that went into the tending of it.

The only golden fairy
sitting by the deadly tomb stone
your name engraved gold
'in love and death which i shall live
forever and ever in your debt'
i read,
but ms.death beckend for you that day
and as she called you listened
i wish you hadnt listened
i saw your golden fairy again
this fairy keeping me alive
as thought of you burn up my mind
the gold embers strong and sweet
i love this fairy as i loved you
staring at these deep rationed words
on this dead cold stone
as the gold lights up the sky
the only gold fairy i have ever seen
lights up the sircuts in my mind
please stay with me my love my darling
your fairy by my side
as i cry i scream out loud
'in love and death we both shall live
forever and ever in your debt.
will forever live on
through me
through you
through us

The Weed
There was an old woman
that planted a garden.
And in the garden
there grew a weed.
The weed grew next to
a beautiful flower.
The flower had grown
from a tiny seed.
The weed was strong
and would not bend.
The wind did blow
and it did send
the seeds from the flower
into the air.
They circled around
and landed where
the weed was growing
next to the flower.
Soon the weed was
surrounded by flowers.
It loved where it was
and looked by the hours
at all of the beautiful
colorful flowers.
The old woman who planted
the garden one day
decided that she would
make a bouquet.
She went to the garden
to cut the flowers.
But when she got there
down came the showers.
The raindrops that fell
made the weed shine
which made the old woman
change her mind.
She left them alone
in her garden and knew
that the weed belonged
with the flowers that grew.
She'd planted the flowers.
God planted the weed.
The garden was perfect.
No bouquet did she need.

Daffodils
Ho! You there, selling daffodils along the windy street,
Poor drooping, dusty daffodils - but oh! so Summer sweet!
Green stems that stab with loveliness, rich petal-cups to hold
The wine of Spring to lips that cling like bees about their gold!
What price to you for daffodils? I'll give what price you please,
For light and love and memory lie leaf by leaf with these!
And if I bought all Sydney Town I could not hope to buy
The wealth you bring of everything that goes with open sky!
My money for your daffodils: why do you thank me so?
If I have paid a reckless price, take up my gift and go,
And from the golden garden beds where gold the sunbeams shine
Bring in more flowers to light the hours for lover-hearts like mine!

Living Angels
May god keep you in his loving care
Until we meet again
Forever missed forever loved
Its hard to believe
Three years have passed
A day does not go by
That your not thought of
You are forever in our hearts
Forever loved
This day is remembered
And quietly kept
No words are needed
We shall never forget
For those we love dont go away
They walk beside us everyday
Unseen and unheard
But always near
So loved so missed and so very dear
With all of our love
They will live on

Forever
Forever
Now that youre gone
Gone forever
But the day goes on
Forever
When we were young
With time to waste
Everything was clear and good
Thought we could live
For a thousand years
But yesterday is done
And tomorrows yet to come
Youll never know
Forever
Now that youre gone
Gone forever
But the day goes on
Forever
Yea yea yea
Forever
And I remember when we were fools
Everything was me and you
Thought we were kings
With time to kill
But yesterday is done
And tomorrows yet to come
You live and learn
Some people never take the time to try
The way you lives the way you die
The stuff of lifes in short supply
And if it sometimes hits you strong
Remembering that things go wrong
The song of life is just a song
And everything goes on and on
Forever
Now that youre gone
Gone forever
But the day goes on
Forever
Yea yea yea
Forever

Gold In Them Hills
I know it doesn't seem that way
But maybe it's the perfect day
Even though the bills are piling
And maybe Lady Luck ain't smiling
But if we'd only open our eyes
We'd see the blessings in disguise
That all the rain clouds are fountains
Though our troubles seem like mountains
There's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose heart
Give the day a chance to start
Every now and then life says
Where do you think you're going so fast
We're apt to think it cruel but sometimes
It's a case of cruel to be kind
And if we'd get up off our knees
Why then we'd see the forest for the trees
And we'd see the new sun rising
Over the hills on the horizon
There's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose faith
Give the world a chance to say...
A word or two, my friend
There's no telling how the day might end
And we'll never know until we see
That there's gold in them hills
There's gold in them hills
So don't lose heart
Give the day a chance to start
There's gold in them hills...
There's gold in them hills...

I Don't Want To Live Forever
Frank Sinatra died today
I came home and found my mama crying
The TV had so much to say
Somehow I was thinking about dying
I'm seventeen and thinking about dying
I don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
I see my daddy in his chair
He sits there night and day
The TV still looks good as new
Daddy's old and gray
And it's scaring me to death
I don't want to go that way
I don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
Just because your heart's still beating
It don't mean that you're alive
Don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
Gonna live while I'm alive
You can see the glass half-empty
You can see the glass half-full
But all I see are shattered dreams
Around this neighborhood
My brother's girlfriend's pregnant
And today she's moving in
My friends all play the lottery
And swear one day they'll win
I'm seventeen, I'm thinking about dying
I'm seventeen, no way I'm dying
Don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
Just because you're breathing
It don't mean that you're alive
Don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
Don't want to live forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Don't want to live forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever

A Chance
(dean dillon/royce porter)
Girl, dont you know its all I can do
To keep my hands off of you
Anytime youre around
And when the stars come out at night
I dream of holdin you tight
Everytime I lay down
It feels so good to me to have you this bad
The only other thing I wish I had was
A chance
A chance
To tell you how I feel about you
How it feels to live without a chance
A chance
To tell you Ill love you forever
Knowing that Ill never have a chance
Sometimes reality hurts
And you wonder if lifes worth living at all
Knowing no matter how much you care
Youll never have a prayer
Of having what you want
At least Ive been close enough I could taste
Beauty at its best but never a trace of
A chance
A chance
To tell you how I feel about you
How it feels to live without a chance
A chance
To tell you Ill love you forever
Knowing that Ill never have a chance
A chance
A chance
To tell you Ill love you forever
Knowing that Ill never have
The chance

Shangrila
Im bathing in warm liquid colour
Feel every cell in my body is music
Floating in hyperspacial sound
Visualizing the landscapes of my mind
Im opening the door to inner space
Im feeling the vibrasound
We can live forever
We can live forever
Strike that gong
We can live forever
Our love can live forever
In shangrila
Transform with inner guidance
To a place of peace and paradise
(oh what a feeling)
Relax let your thoughts drift away
(oh what a feeling)
Live in belief and harmony
(chance of freedom)
We can live forever
We can live forever
Stike that gong
We can live forever
Our love can live forever
In shangrila om
In shangrila om
Access your new state of mind
Dedication discipline
Searching the sensory science
Has resulted in shangrila
We can live forever
(forever & ever & ever)
We can live forever
Our love could live forever
In shangrila
We can live forever
(forever & ever & ever)
We can live forever
Strike that gong
We can live forever
In shangrila om
A piece of a dream
The color of green
The color of healing
In shangrila
Color of love
In shangrila
I feel the sacred healing chants
I feel the moment
Of my death
I feel the higher learning
I feel the realization of forgiveness
Compassion and loving kindness

Glory To The Brave
Snow is falling down on this glorious land
Colours fading, turning into white again
To fallen heroes angels sing, they cry their winter tears
Endless mourning days will turn to years
So this is goodbye, I take leave of you and
Spread your wings and you will fly away now, fly away
Now
Nothing on earth stays forever
But none of your deeds were in vain
Deep in our hearts you will live again
Youre gone to the home of the brave
Every solemn moment I will treasure inside
Even though its hard to understand
T hat a silent wind can blow the candle out
Taking everything leaving the pain far behind
You call out my name, but your voice is fading
Into the wind, embraced, youll fly away now, fly away
Now
Nothing on earth stays forever
But none of your deeds were in vain
Deep in our hearts you will live again
Youre gone to the home of the brave
My eyes are closed I feel youre faraway ( so close )
Far beyond that shining star
I know youll find what youve been fighting for
Far beyond that shining star
Down on bended knee I pray, bring courage to these souls
Makeem live forever in the heart of the bold
So I say farewell my friends, I hope well meet again
When time has come to fall from grace
So this is goodbye, I take leave of you and
Spread your wings and you will fly away now, fly away
Now
Nothing on earth stays forever
But none of your deeds were in vain
Deep in our hearts you will live again
Youre gone to the home of the brave

The Morning Light Is Here
THE MORNING LIGHT IS HERE
The morning light is here
Hope is here
I try to think and to write
Slowly slowly
A few words come.
What have I done with my life?
What will I do with this day?
When will the real poems return to me
Have they forever gone away?
The light is blue and white
The day is here
The fear so deep deep in me
Is slowly fading –
God, if You do not move me now
Will I remain a loser forever?

Our Sweet Love
I thought about a summer day
And how the time just floats away
Pretty things like incense and flowers
I wanna make them part of
Our sweet love
Could last forever
(our sweet love)
Our sweet love
Could last forever
I thought about a winter night
And how Id like to hold you tight
Candlelight the warmth of a fire
We could make them part of
Our sweet love
Honey its heaven
(our sweet love)
Our sweet love
Could last forever
Sweet love sweet love
Like a child with his new toy
My heart is filled with joy for
Our sweet love
Honey its heaven
(our sweet love)
Our sweet love
Lord knows I love her so
I feel it down inside my soul
A precious love like this can flower
Theres nothing in this world like
Our sweet love
Should last forever
(our sweet love)
Our sweet love
Could last forever
Our sweet love
Could last forever
Our sweet love
Could last forever
(our sweet love)

All That Was Forever Is
All that was forever is beneath a blanket love
As all that falls forever tries towards the skies above.
All that was forever is within this heart of mine
Though we change I'll have for you all my earthly time.
Whenever you should need it, whether day or night
Forever shall I shine an ever burning light.

To The Sky
One perfect morning i was all alone
Listening to the blaze of summer
Drifting
I was falling
I was floating in a golden haze
Breathing in the sky-blue sun
Of memories of other days
And in my dreams i was a child
Flowers in my mouth and in my eyes
And i was floating through the colours of the sky
Up to the stars and angels
Up to heaven
Up forever
Up to heaven
Up forever
Turning in my climb
I looked down on a lake
Traced upon the water
There i saw your face
Sending recollection of the times we shared
Pushed on ever up into the sky
And in my dreams i was a child
Flowers in my mouth and in my eyes
And i was floating through the colours of the sky
Up to the stars and angels
Up to heaven
Up forever
Up to heaven
Up forever

Heroes Live Forever
You are the light that shines in everyone
The truth that's there for all to see
You are the voice that speaks to everyone
You're the heroes we'd all like to be
You live the dreams that lie within our soul
With a passion that cannot be denied
You bring the whole world together as one
And we'll always be by your side
And all the world will join in celebration
And all the world will share the joy you bring
And all the power, the hope and inspiration
In all their glory the nations all will sing
Heroes live forever
Heroes live forever
Always we'll remember
Heroes live forever
Since the dawn of history
(Since the dawn of history)
In searching for our destiny
(In searching for our destiny)
To be the best that we can be
(To be the best that we can be)
Heroes...
Heroes live forever
Heroes live forever
Always we'll remember
Heroes live forever
Heroes live forever
Heroes live forever
Always we'll remember
Heroes live forever...

A seed of love
I stand here with a dying
flower in my hand
It's our love
It's petals lie at my feet
along with the pieces of my heart
All twisted and black
But deep in the dark corner
of your heart
Theres a seed
a seed of love
Being kept from the light
I know cause i planted it there
And when your mind feels free
to let the light in and let it grow
It will overcome you and burst into flower
I will be there to hold that flower
And we together will nurture
that flower
And from it make a garden of love
to live in forever
