Free speech has been cancelled
Hush, my friends, don't say a word,
freedom of speech has been silenced.
Keep it quiet, and under your hat,
leave your words in the bag and all that.
Be thankful they don't yet read minds,
for your thoughts are still free, as are mine.
Not yet will they get us, not yet, not yet
will they stab at our poor troubled heads.
Right now and right here on the page,
don't get rabid or into a rage,
it will do you no good, you'll be misunderstood
and in seconds you'll end up inside.

Thank The Men and Women
I’m thankful for the freedom
I enjoy each and every day
I’m thankful for the freedom
That lets me go my own way
I’m thankful for the freedom
To pray as I please
I’m thankful for the freedom
To satisfy all my own needs
I’m thankful for the liberties
My freedom has given me
I’m thankful for the red, white and blue
That flies to let me know I’m free
I’m thankful for the voice I have
When I want to disagree
Knowing I can speak out
And my freedom stays with me
But most of all I’m thankful for
The men and women who all fight
They give me all the freedoms
That makes my life so nice

Words Again
Thoughts can be words, can be flowers that burgeon like words,
Thunders that are right in the middle of happiness,
Ones that make talk with books and with all speaking sense.
The sounds are not anywhere near us,
Yet the word can believe in living free,
Where actions cannot, and nor can thoughts necessarily.
We work on the words of leaders like listening is,
When speech is hazardous and non-wrong,
And liars can speak offensively, like a long long wrong.
Speech is therefore recommended in the form of words,
Of dementia I give word not or word obvious,
But of sound advice for any goodness to come and seize.
Deceased are the word-lovers as much as fences are put up,
As if the sea is given a status that delves too deep
Of words, and it is funny how many words that there are.

Lord I Hope This Day Is Good
(dave hanner)
Lord, I hope this day is good
Im feelin empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful, lord, I know I should
But lord I hope this day is good
Lord, have you forgotten me?
I been prayin to you faithfully
I should be thankful lord you know I am
But lord I hope you understand
I dont need fortune and I dont need fame
Send down the thunder, lord, send down the rain
But when youre plannin just how it will be
Plan a good day for me
Lord, I hope this day is good
Im feelin empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful, lord, I know I should
But lord I hope this day is good
Youve been the king since the dawn of time
All that Im askin is a little less crime
It might be hard for the devil to do
But it would be easy for you
Lord, I hope this day is good
Im feelin empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful, lord, I know I should
But lord I hope this day is good

I Like To Think That All These Are But A Game Of Words
that is the impression from the beginning
when i started to scribble
word, and more words, i assured her that they do not
mean anything at all just
words, and words and more words
that even a sunflower wilting and spreading all the seed on her feet
are nothing too but words and more words
nothing to grow nothing to expect like a sprouting something
thus my loneliness, i again assure here, is nothing but a word
my way of taking solitude on the other side to save myself
is another word, and she of course, did not believe me saying
there is more to these words, there is fire in them and i see you burning
there is the sun inside them and the letters glow and the
there is smoke rising from the heads of vowels
from the nonspeaking consonants
i keep hiding the flowers
i bury those that are alive in the silence of my pretensions
until one day she grips me like she is a knife wanting to stab me
and then she stabbed me right in my throat and there i bleed
words, words, and more words coming from the slit
bloody words, and she was convinced, until death, ... and then i vanish.

Thanksgiving
Let us give thanks to God above,
Thanks for expressions of His love,
Seen in the book of nature, grand
Taught by His love on every hand.
Let us be thankful in our hearts,
Thankful for all the truth imparts,
For the religion of our Lord,
All that is taught us in His word.
Let us be thankful for a land,
That will for such religion stand;
One that protects it by the law,
One that before it stands in awe.
Thankful for all things let us be,
Though there be woes and misery;
Lessons they bring us for our good-
Later 'twill all be understood.
Thankful for peace o'er land and sea,
Thankful for signs of liberty,
Thankful for homes, for life and health,
Pleasure and plenty, fame and wealth.
Thankful for friends and loved ones, too,
Thankful for all things, good and true,
Thankful for harvest in the fall,
Thankful to Him who gave it all.

My Freedom
A freedom of soul moving,
fly to the air, sound mind,
ease thoughts.
A freedom of body to move
and go to the way direction.
A freedom to think, views,
enhance being to smile
inside heart with goodness
sight of thoughts.
A freedom to laugh that
gives glittering in the eyes
sprinkle like star in the night
open to view happiness in mind.
A freedom to be alone in
silence to talk inside self
asking the divine guidance
of the spirit in heart.
A freedom to look up,
whisper words in heaven,
to look down, to see what is
important.
A freedom to be with myself
enjoying my coffee to drink,
my pen to write in notebook
a words for all who want to
read my composition.
A freedom to honour God in his glory
'Till eternity.

Land of the Free (c) 3-29-08
Land of the Free home of the brave
Land of disease home of the slave
Freedom of religion Freedom of speech
Freedom of press and freedom to breach
Freedom to steal freedom to take
Freedom to carry guns and Freedom to break
The laws of the man and the laws of the word
Freedom from peace but to still use the bird
The only home of brave and Land of the Free
The land who rules based off democracy
Freedom to starve and Freedom to be poor
Freedom to break and enter someone’s door
Freedom to lay off workers and close off jobs
Freedom to take what they want and to rob
Freedom of abortion Freedom of extortion
Freedom to own land and give everyone their portion
Freedom for action by any means necessary
But what their picture of that can really be scary
Freedom to wage war without our consent for our hours to be spent
Freedom to take our money then make us pay rent
Land of the prospering riches and of those who don’t care for the
People who live in the FREE old America

Freedom
[CD]
It's been said many times that this is a free country,
I look around, I haven't found anything truly free,
I can't believe society ain't put a price on me,
Cos in the end, believe me friend, it's all down to money.
(Chorus:)
Freedom,
Ain't no such thing no more as freedom,
It's just a word we all believe in,
But nothing's free
There's no more freedom!
Freedom
Ain't no such thing no more as freedom,
It's just a word we wanna believe in,
But nothing's free
There's no more freedom
Where's it gonna get you in the end?
One of my friends is so confused over a girl he knows,
She had her daddy's credit card - all his money she blows,
She's so inside herself, she'll never see just who he is,
Her world's a fairy tale of hope and dreams compared to his.
(Chorus)
I know a guy who's worked himself almost into his grave,
I wonder does he know he's lived his life as money's slave,
He fell in to the traps of money's evil tempting ways,
Before he'll realize he's done and dusted all his days.
(Chorus x2)

I Like That You Stay
i like that you stay,
for a moment inside my room.
i will ask you, those little things
that you can do for me, so you will stay for a while
so i may have a smell of you
so i may see you even for a few seconds
so i may have life.
i ask you to pull the calendar page. It is not
october anymore. Time flies.
you display me the face of november. a sad one.
a face of uncompromising stance. Not not you. Not your love.
you may refuse my feelings, like the way you resist
some sweeter spaces between us. i like you.
i like you to stay even for a moment.
you flatten a crumpled piece of paper and you ask:
there is still something important on this page.
i look at it. some words, not supposedly written
some words, not to be read by anybody.
you read it. how can you understand?
when i always conceal the meaning
of my pain. i am only for me. I understand the rules
of this game.
i like you to stay really. i like you.
but then, i open the door and then you leave.
you have never understood, the silent beats
of my dying heart.
i like it this way. i touch myself still wanting to touch you.

Verses From God
I’m just the pen; God is the ink, Who fills me as I write and think,
And God’s ink never runs dry, as it flows from His Spirit on high.
Penning verse that never ends, as He talks to a world of friends,
As I go to God in prayer, He pens down each blessing and care.
In a trial God helps me through, He pens verse to share with you,
And the blessing He brings my way, as He helps me, day to day.
As I write every word and line, I do not claim the verses as mine,
For as the pen to page is pressed, it is my heart that is blessed.
Blessing seem to come my way, as He helps me, in what to say,
To illustrate to all those who read, that Jesus is The Lord indeed.
His Words just seem to flow, not knowing where His idea will go,
But His point He makes every time, as God speaks on each line.
He draws from deep inside, my heart, where His Scriptures hide,
Always used at the proper place, to pen down a verse of Grace.
And as the page begins to fill, it is not my poem, but God’s will,
That fills lines with His Word, which some who read, never heard.
It’s God above who fills my pen, with words for the eyes of men,
By means of only poetic verse, to claim victory, over sin’s curse.
The page is filled by God above, with true examples of His Love,
Penning Truth for men to see, He’s a God who loves you and me.

Thankfulness
I am thankful for my family
and my friends who care about me
when I am lonely or sad
I am thankful for the one I
love and when I am not happy,
it’s my family that makes me glad
I am thankful for the things
that I have and for the life
i’m living
I am thankful for a home
That I have and for the
things that I forgive
I am thankful to have a nice
family that I like and for the
things that I have done
I am thankful to have pets
that I need and the things
that I like about you
I am thankful for my dad taking
me to basketball games and the
food that I like to make
I am thankful to have a loving sister
that I fight with sometimes but
it will not be forever
I am thankful to go to school that
sometimes don’t like to go to but
it will not be for the rest of my life
I am thankful to have a
dad that doesn’t smoke
and for him having a loving wife
I am thankful to come back
to the US and for the friends
that I miss in China
I am thankful to have a lot
of friends in China and the US
and they miss me
I am thankful to be the
tallest in my family and
my parents agree
I am thankful to be
good at basketball
and I play for a team
Free Speech
Free speech?
You neither have that...
Inside or near,
The boundaries...
Where you believe,
What you say and do is okay.
Especially if it effects,
The placement of my footsteps.
When your free speech,
Begins to tamper with my peace?
You may be free to protest about it...
For as long as you like.
But not in my backyard.
From here you can take a hike.
Since not a penny of tax,
Have you paid...
To cross my path or threshold,
To express your opinions...
About how it is I live my life.
With your aggressive impressions.
Is that understood?
I hope so.
You have no freedom here to do as you please.
I am not from that generation!
Unless you want to experience my freedom,
To give you a taste of my interpretation.
And when I feel threatened,
That's the only freedom here that exists.

The Song of Freedom - A Prayer Reflection on Mee Kamocha
When did we leave Egypt
And when did Egypt leave us?
When were the chains of slavery broken
And when did we finally truly feel free?
Freedom came in steps
It was part of the journey
From Egypt to Canaan
Our people took
And we can still take.
Freedom is courage and hope and clear vision
Freedom is walking to places we can’t see
Freedom in knowing that we can find food in the desert
Freedom is feeling safe though our houses are booths.
Freedom is choosing good rules to live by
And freedom is singing our very own song.
So with Moses and Miriam and all those who went with them
With all those before us who brought us to today
We still sing these words, our first words of freedom
'Freedom is having no sovereign but God.”

The Word
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
In the beginning i misunderstood
But now i've got it, the word is good
Spread the word and you'll be free
Spread the word and be like be
Spread the work i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Every where i go i hear it said
In the good and bad books that i have read
Give the word a chance to say
That the word is just the way
It's the word i'm thinking of
And the only word is love
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Now that i know what i feel must be right
I'm here to show everybody the light
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love

(Inspiration Poem) A Book Never Read
Living by the fire
Living to admire
Living down to the wire
Still the wheels don't turn
I think it is because I want it
Urn for it
The beautiful almighty
I will not pray
Not as long as I live day by day
How much does my soul really weigh?
How many sins can be forgiven?
The fog will eventually choke you out
Whine and pout all you want
It won't make a dent in my steel cage
Because it was built from pure rage
If Its not a stage
What am I going through?
Its just another page of my book never read
Words as stale as the food I was fed
Maybe it was how many times I have been dropped on my head
I plead guilty to an unwritten destiny
I lied to myself in a mirror straight to my very own face
Memories erased
It's just another page of my book never read
I can't be lead astray
Especially if I'm willing
It's not much different then stealing
A moral yeng then yang
A oh so perfect harmony
Keeping things on a even keel
Always questioning what is real
It's just another page of my book never read
I hold on so tight to my comfy bed
Such a beautiful night
The stars are glistening oh so bright
I turn off the lights
Sleep for the dreams of a tomorrow
We are all living on borrowed time
So I ask again where's mine?
A question that continues to go unanswered
Draw your own conclusion
It's another one of the deep dark mysterious illusions
It's just another page of my book never read
It's as if every word has never been said
It's just another page of my tattered and torn book that will be never read

We Have Got Our Freedom
We have got our freedom
From the bondage of this citadel
In the decree of finical dons
The sunken voice of unbespoken gods
We have got our freedom
From faltering wile of this college
In the ungleamable murk of the nudged
The feigning gleamer of the darkened world
We have got our freedom
From the piss of this moldy mountain
In the poisoned hope of the freed grace
The ambivalence of dream, whether bright or dull
We have got our freedom
From bookish pall of floppy class
In the genius of masters that make and bar
The lesson curtailed, over to you to hurl
We have got our freedom
From silenced pains of academic wound
In the solace of pseudo pride on the camps
The wounded minds now free to hunt
We have got our freedom
From the prisoned thoughts they sold to us
In the take-and-return of scholarly style
The thoughts now free, which way to pass?
We have got our freedom
From candles’ romance in the cursed gloomy night
In the Nescafe tax that our eyes could not close
In the agonized dark we did read to cram
We have got our freedom
From industrial war that prolonged our time
In the starved sessions of incessant strikes
The journey of moons never end at appointed time
We have got our freedom
From the indecent stain of white handkerchief
In the aristo jeeps that harbour our lessened brides
The campus bethels where virtues are scorned
We have got our freedom
From memorable journey of many moons
In the brightest sky of thousand stars
The survivors are here with boots full of pride

Freedom Now
They throwed him in jail
And they kept him there
Hoping soo hed die
That his body and spirit would waste away
And soon after that his mind
But every day is born a fool
One who thinks that he can rule
One who says tomorrows mine
One who wakes one day to find
The prison doors open the shackles broken
And chaos in the street
Everybody sing were free free free free
Everybody sing were free free free free
Everybody sing were free free free free
They throwed him in jail
And they kept him there
Hoping his memoryd die
That the people forget how he once led
And fought for justice in their lives
But every day is born a man
Who hates what he cant understand
Who thinks the answer is to kill
Who thinks his actions are gods will
And he thinks hes free free free free
Yes he thinks hes free free free free
He thinks hes free free free free
Soon must come the day
Whe the righteous have their way
Unjustly tried are free
And people live in peace I say
Give the man release
Go on and set your conscience free
Right the wrongs you made
Even a fool can have his day
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free
Free our bodies free our minds
Free our hearts
Freedom for everyone
And freedom now
Freedom now
Freedom now
Freedom now
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free
Let us all be free free free free

Licia Sonnets 37
I speak, fair Licia, what my torments be,
But then my speech too partial do I find;
For hardly words can with those thoughts agree,
Those thoughts that swarm in such a troubled mind.
Then do I vow my tongue shall never speak
Nor tell my grief that in my heart doth lie;
But cannon-like, I then surcharged do break,
And so my silence worse than speech I try.
Thus speech or none, they both do breed my care;
I live dismayed, and kill my heart with grief;
In all respects my case alike doth fare
To him that wants, and dare not ask relief.
Then you, fair Licia, sovereign of my heart,
Read to yourself my anguish and my smart.

Make no laws whatever concerning speech, and speech will be free; so soon as you make a declaration on paper that speech shall be free, you will have a hundred lawyers proving that "freedom does not mean abuse, nor liberty license"; and they will define and define freedom out of existence. Let the guarantee of free speech be in every man's determination to use it, and we shall have no need of paper declarations. On the other hand, so long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men.

Fruits Of Your Words
Everything in this world has an end
Even the sugar
Even the pain
Will find an end
Soon or late,
Nothing lasts
Forever
Even the pain
So be nice to others and you will gain
Be aware of the words that comes out of your thoughts
A word can heal another may hurt
So try to be kind with your words
May you can heai some thoughts
Once they come out of your lips
Never returns so escape the falts
Your words are the mirror of your thoughts
And your works are the fruits of your soul's
So keep the kindness inside the soul
And speak the kind words
Passengers we all are in this world
Try to keep the good job up
If you can't heal
Try to not hurt
Your words explain your thoughts
Take your time before you talk
Don't forget that a word can change the world
So keep the good work up
Try to plant a flower
Everywhere you go
Soon the world becomes a colorful garden
The good we do is eternal
Even when we are gone.
