If I could touch your soul with my emotions;
let my inner feelings be undressed
and if by chance you saw me as a lover
instead of just a simple loyal friend.
But then, these things are just imagination.
My love for you must stay closed, under wraps.
But should you read these words and feel like minded
please write to me at the above address.

Letters I Didn't Write
I wish you could have read…
The Letters
that I failed to write
I wish you could have felt the touch…
Of hands that failed to
reach out at night
Would’ve liked for you
to have heard…
Words I couldn’t say
Would’ve liked to have felt
The emotions missed…
When I failed to ask you to stay
What you didn’t feel…
When you didn’t hear …
The words I didn’t say
I wish you could have
At least…Felt the love
That you didn’t feel that day
I wish you could’ve known …
The feelings
that I didn’t show
The words I couldn’t bring to light
And tell you
Long ago
I wish somehow,
you could know now
Of things you knew not then
Of words I didn’t say or write
Of touch, or love
Of things... that might have been

The poet's page
Like a band of beggars
Revealing to each other
Where to find the bread
Is the poets page
An open line
Where poets reveal what's
Inside their heads
A platform of
Artistic exchange
Where an accompany of poets
Express what should be said,
As the
Words seems to take on life
For they are poet read
Poets can feel one anothers pain
As well as relates to each
others shame
Emphasizing on a topic is
A poet's personal lane
Poets dvides the spoil
As they expand, due to
sharing their gain
This is partly my analogy
Of a poet's fame

I Like That You Stay
i like that you stay,
for a moment inside my room.
i will ask you, those little things
that you can do for me, so you will stay for a while
so i may have a smell of you
so i may see you even for a few seconds
so i may have life.
i ask you to pull the calendar page. It is not
october anymore. Time flies.
you display me the face of november. a sad one.
a face of uncompromising stance. Not not you. Not your love.
you may refuse my feelings, like the way you resist
some sweeter spaces between us. i like you.
i like you to stay even for a moment.
you flatten a crumpled piece of paper and you ask:
there is still something important on this page.
i look at it. some words, not supposedly written
some words, not to be read by anybody.
you read it. how can you understand?
when i always conceal the meaning
of my pain. i am only for me. I understand the rules
of this game.
i like you to stay really. i like you.
but then, i open the door and then you leave.
you have never understood, the silent beats
of my dying heart.
i like it this way. i touch myself still wanting to touch you.

I Write Poems For Poets
I WRITE POEMS FOR POETS
I write poems for poets
Our situation as poets-
The longings the feelings
We so need to express-
The love of language-
The hunger for recognition-
The frequent rejection-
The kind word of a reader that moves-
Poems for poets
We as we each are
All so different-
And we as we share
Words and worlds
We hope to have read.

when i wrote the words i love you i miss you i want you
you will by chance read these ordinary lines that a lover says to another lover faraway,
oh! My God! you really tore your heart out of your chest and threw
on the computer stand when
you write these lines
they are ordinarily said, let me tell you again,
i love you i miss you i want you on my side,
the musings sound like you and i have met and kissed
in the subway
of strangeness as i hold your hands like you are a train bar
so i may not fall away
and die like a stupid bum, but i write lines of love and missing
as i am born to love and miss
those unloved and unfound, what for too is my loneliness
and being messy,
got to go now, you did not tell me your name, and i did not tell mine,
we do not find any importance
about knowing each other at all, we just meet, i say i love you i say
i miss you, and you listen attentively and pretend you like each word,
we recall the rules of our game, for those who believe there is heaven
for those who don't keep your little space of earth,
and live, wiser, cautious, and better adjusted this time,
easy come,
easy go, there is not much pain, there is no bargain, and well
what is the gain?
now you are learning now you are saying when i go away
i miss you i love you i want you and i will not
look back at you, your tongue is so adept in your cheek.

You'll Miss Me Love
you’ll miss me love
when you hear these words
you’ll miss me love
and when they start to hit home for you
then think about all the times we could have made things right
you’ll miss me love
when you need me
like I did the day you told me that you didn’t love me
I couldn’t wait any more
even knowing that my heart was going to be destroyed
by the same words that make me smile
day after day
the first day your lips smiled at me
I was captured instantly
the first time I looked into your eyes
I was hipmatized
ya I was the crazy one to ever think that you could love me
but if you dream they might come true
they also can be destroyed in just a few words
You’ll miss me love
cause when your holdin her know that it’s killing me
let that guilt of not being my man
be the reason that you cant sleep
and every time you feel her touch I pray to god
it’s not enough
cause I love you
yes I need you
you’ll miss me love until you finally realize that you love me
I’ll be here waiting for you
to be the one holding me
every time you read my words
you’ll miss me love

Poets Of Many Types
Indeed they are so many types of poets, and of the poets I would not say anyone is more important then the other.
For the readers each have their desired tastes.
So they're most certainly should beware upon opening the page.
Cause dangers do lurk, some quite perverse.
While others seem to insult either the heart or mind.
The poet didn't write it for you specifically in mind.
But instead just to describe his feelings at the time.
Whether be with his eyes in sight, his nose in smell, his fingers in touch, his ears in sound, and some would say his mind and heart with emotions.

And A Softness Came
And a softness came from her touch
And I set aside my old tragedies
And let the touch fill me
Full to the bone
Now what comes next
Do I write about
How that touch touched me
As none ever had
But that has been written
Before and often
By much better poets
Than this cowboy
Or do I write about
How I miss that touch
But to what purpose
To wallow in self pity
I could write about
How I fell in love with the touch
How love made a fool of me
But I have not the strength
How about this
Her touch came to me
And it lingers still
At least I have that

I Promise You
it's in the silences,
The words you never say
I see it in your eyes,
It always starts the same way
It seems like everyone we know is breaking up
Does anybody ever stay in love, anymore?
I promise you,
From the bottom of my heart
I will love you till death do us part
I promise you as a lover and a friend
I will love you like i never love again
With everything i am
Ooh i see you look at me,
When you think i'm not aware
You're searching for clues,
Of just how deep my feelings are.
How do you prove the sky is blue, the oceans wide?
All i know is what i feel,
When i look into your eyes
I promise you,
From the bottom of my heart
I will love you till death do us part
I promise you as a lover and a friend
I will love you like i never love again
With everything that i am ooh yeah
Oh there are no guarantees
That's what you always say to me
But late at night i feel the tremble in your touch
Oh what i'm trying to say to you,
I never said to anyone i promise
I promise you,
From the bottom of my heart
I will love you till death do us part
(i do my darling i promise you)
I promise you as a lover and a friend
I will love you like i never love again
With everything i am i promise you,
From the bottom of my heart
I will love you till death do us part
( i love you i love you i love you i love you)
I promise you as a lover and a friend
I will love you like i never love again
With everything i am
You're everything i am oh yeah
With everything i am

Poetry inspired
Poetry is inspired
The sweet melody in my ear
the last word he whispered in my ear
the way i feel when he is near
The touch on my spine when we connect
his chin
his lips
his strength
Culture
past and present too
Tears and fears
Joys and triumphs
births and deaths
Love and hate
Poetry inspires poets
Poets inspire poetry
emotions inspire poetry
every angle of the shape of my nose
when i examine myself closely
sensitivity
attention to detail
simple words on a piece of torn paper
a scent from a rose
cologne
birds singing morning blessings
sometimes it's as sweet as mom's sweet potatoe pie
or sometimes it's deep like
being a woman
from my fingernails to my breast
from my tears to my laughter
from my burdens to my spirituality
poetry is brought alive
it's the little things that make the pen write notes
to the melody that my emotions sing
that being all a poem need

I Want My Poetry
(8/22/12)
I want my poetry to touch the hearts and minds of all who read
And on their emotions my words would feed.
To express to all people no matter who they may be
Or what schooling they may or may not have
That their voices will be heard and told
And their emotions will all unfold.
Every emotion known to man will be written
With a gentle hand.
We as poets can climb into your being
And see what you are seeing, and to feel
Your every emotional pain
For no two are ever the same.
To feel your hunger, your thirst, your needs
And feel the cut vein when you bleed.
To feel your sorrows, your bitterness, your hate
And also feel your religious faith.
We are you - you are us
And in our minds you put your trust.
Let us tell the future generations
That these words were our salvation.
I want to make you feel the splendor
And to my words you will surrender.
To make you feel happy inside
And with a smile you can not hide.
To make you see that ALL LIFE is worthwhile
As you look upon that newborn child.
To let you know that your life was given to you
Because the love your parents knew.

A Single String
Name stands for a thing
For its contents and quality.
Name stands for a person
For his body and soul.
When a horse is named,
The name says it’s a horse
And also further says
That it’s not any other.
God is a name given.
Saturn is a name spelt.
They are abstract nouns
Known by imagination.
To understand names
The language must be read.
To know the language,
The speaker must be read.
When we address living things,
We address their inner things
Which are inner connected
As soul, a single string.

Dead And Gone
In years from now when I am dead and gone
Will people read the words that I had wrote
If they do will they agree with what they read
And if so truly, understand the feelings I had spoke.
Will they feel the pain and suffering that I felt
In the many days of my own life
Maybe they will etch my feelings inside their soul
And If so, I wonder for me if they will cry.
I wonder if anyone will go into a deep thought
After reading the words that I had spoke
And then will they think and understand that feeling too
While inside their soul or heart a memory I will had awoke.
Maybe they will be with me in those lonesome nights
When my soul and I felt so very alone
When I couldn't sleep so I had to write
While my soul stayed stationary, but my mind it did roam.
And will they feel the pain that I did feel
With every line that I suffered as I did write
Will they shed a tear that my lover never shed for me
While she was always in my heart and in my sight.
And when they finish my book and close it shut
Will they reflect my feelings as they walk away
Will they say they know the pain that I have felt
As they too had felt it in their very own days.
Will they cry the tears that was never cried for me
As they go searching for my last resting place
To give the sympathy they might say I deserve
While trying to visualize my soul through my face.
If they look and find and then walk unto my grave
I wander for me if i will receive long forgotten grieving
Telling me how sad and the pity they hold for me
After reading my words, maybe they will start believing.
And maybe they will walk to the graves of the others
The ones who did me wrong and who sealed my fate
Who made me the poet whom I had to become
Will they tell them their souls, and living they do hate.
So as I finish writing with these last few thoughts
I hope forever my words and feelings will continue on
As I know I am not alone and my pain is not fastened to me
But really who will know, until I am dead and gone.

Long Song of Celebration (pt.III)
Beautiful imagery, my favorite part of any season
coffee and cigarettes, early morning love poems,
simple, elemental, and heart felt.
One smells the breath, feels the touch of death, humane and deeply personal within the words of a wise elder, a man who has truly lived and learned during his time
something strange happens when poets
stay up to greet the sunrise.
a blue star! empyrean illumination
One bright spot breeds creativity
Ardent passions, Eloquent emotion
from infinite enlightened hearts,
upholding the healthy, well rounded
all encompassing timeless message of life!
Love's jovial mania, Perfect mesh between emotion and imagination,
A joyous anthem of the heart, to which any true lover can relate!
imagery that Develops grows flourishes and flows
Strong, straight forward emotion is universal,
you feel it hitting you, hard,
when you read the poem,
If I could reach through this screen and hug you, I would.
the struggle conveyed, the feeling, that's half the struggle, sensitivity will carry you
The vein is a well spring of pain and emotion,
Two key components in the poetic formula
artistic expression is the best way to put
personal tribulations in their proper perspective
fragile human state, so fragile even empty words have
the power to bring us down.
Young love carves gulches in the heart,
The deeper the suffering,
the more immense our capacity for future love becomes,
a soft palatable human quality to the pain expressed in great works.

Mary to merry
Mary is going to marry', said friend,
May be in days but not in weeks,
'what! I shouted back with anger,
yes, my dear, make no wonder,
Story as such never you carry,
Simple not but still I feel worry,
No word even to feel so sorry,
Why Mary thought? Just to marry,
'Was I not her so close friend? '
She Left no way for me to mend,
I thought hurriedly and put message
Will she buckle and come up with new page?
Friend put a card in the table and ran away,
Wedding card just lay in small tray,
I thought "Was there left no other way? "
Annul the marriage and keep at bay?
Friend just inquired "Will you not come to grace? "
join and enjoy with everybody's embrace,
I was startled and thought "I may miss but not you miss"
offer me nice words with simple grace,
I opened card and just read words
'Mary to marry with bless of lord'
Words were written with ink of Gold
'May I be always with you '
'What a foolish ' I could not guess,
Such a simple thing I made it mess,
What more could I expect than less,
punish me not for being foolish
Words were inscribed with golden ink,
I rejoiced it with no more blink,
I thought no more but went deep to sink
Eyes remained wide open and failed to wink,
I just ran to make a suit,
As I had made long pursuit,
Never had I dreamed of Mary to be mine,
She has decided to marry me is also fine

I Am My Poem
When you see me,
you see my poems.
For when i breath, i breath out ballads.
But vers libre express my heart.
Should i write in complicated
and rhythmic words to make
my poems deep and beautiful?
My life is complicated already.
Should i write in simple and
enticing words to make
my poems attractive?
My life is not that simple.
Like stream to the river
down to the sea,
so is my poems from my
soul to my spirit down to my body.
You may disapprove me
but come and take a walk
within my soul and see if
you can live there for a moment.
So when i write, must i
invite you to read.
Read if you want to.
I write because the chamber
of soul finds relieve.

Time Changes Everything
The things that can change over the countless years
Thoughts and emotions that I always feel
The things I do overcoming my many fears
Loving the one person I hold so dear
The future left open for me to mold
Making the ideal life i want so much
A simple love we can surely behold
And in my heart your simple caressing touch
My mind of thoughts with hopes running wild
My feelings of love now completely sealed
Because now I'm no longer a young child
No longer running in an open field
My love will stay everlasting and strong
As endless and full as my life long song.

Versatilty
I think that I can claim to be
a poet who is versatile.
I try to write my poetry
in varied form and varied style.
I emulate and imitate
styles of great poets of the past.
To show that I appreciate
poets that time has over cast.
Although long dead their words live on.
A source of inspiration to
poets today.Though they’re long gone
and I give credit where its due.
Although some things I write are new
I cannot trace their origin.
I trust my muse as poets do.
She prods me until I begin.
She tells me there is no such thing
as writers block there cannot be.
A poor excuse for not writing
I’m not allowed to be lazy
That’s something she won’t tolerate
and drags me from my bed to write.
Though I protest the hour is late.
She is insistent that I write.
If she should choose to stay away
I’d seize the opportunity
to simple have a lazy day
Without my conscience pricking me.

Fresh Notebook
She bought me a fresh notebook
To write my deepest thoughts
Deliver up my soul
Daily to her
A hard serrated border
Thick along the spine
Designed to pay tribute in words
An opening address
A nod a wink
Initialled in my best
Invisible ink
I turn a new leaf over
Another page, far from
A new beginning
Or a new address
A naked page where I confess
My deepest wish
To sleep with you
On sheets of winter snow
One day I'll write
A sonnet for your eyes
Smiling like the cold sunlight
And close the notebook shut
Liberating me
From sharp parallel lines
And you will feed
Your hungered soul
On pages of my life

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Words and music by freddie mercury
I can dim the lights
And sing you songs full of sad things
We can do the tango just for two
I can serenade and gently play
On your heart strings
Be your valentino just for you
Ooh love ooh lover boy
Whatre doing tonight hey boy?
Set my alarm turn on my charm
Thats because Im a good old fashioned lover boy
Ooh let me feel you heartbeat
(grow faster faster)
Ooh can you feel my love heat
Come on and sit on my hot seat of love
And tell me how do you feel right after all
Id like for you and I to go romancing
Say the word your wish is my command
Ooh love ooh lover boy
Whatre doing tonight hey boy?
Write my letter feel much better
And use my fancy patter on the telephone
When Im not with you
Think of you always I miss you
(I miss those long hot summer nights)
When Im not with you
Think of me always I love you love you
Hey boy where did you get it from?
Hey boy where did you go?
I learned my passion
In the good old fashioned school of lover boys
Dining at the ritz well meet at nine precisely
(one two three four five six seven eight nine)
I will pay the bill you taste the wine
Driving back in style in my saloon will do quite nicely
Just take me back to yours that will be fine
(come on and get it)
Ooh love ooh lover boy
Whatre you doing tonight hey boy?
Evrythings all right just hold on tight
Thats because Im a good old fashioned lover boy
