Rudyard Kipling

Untimely

Nothing in life has been made by man for man's using
But it was shown long since to man in ages
Lost as the name of the maker of it,
Who received oppression and shame for his wages--
Hate, avoidance, and scorn in his daily dealings--
Until he perished, wholly confounded

More to be pitied than he are the wise
Souls which foresaw the evil of loosing
Knowledge or Art before time, and aborted
Noble devices and deep-wrought healings,
Lest offense should arise.

Heaven delivers on earth the Hour that cannot be
thwarted,
Neither advanced, at the price of a world nor a soul,
and its Prophet
Comes through the blood of the vanguards who
dreamed--too soon--it had sounded.

Obituary of a Renowned Indian Surgeon

A noble soul has passed away from earth!
He touched the hearts of thousands since his birth;
He sowed the seeds of sympathy and love,
Akin to that, that flows from God above!

His life was one of devotion to work;
He lit the lives of those living in dark;
He brought back joy to some who had lost it;
He made their bodies unhealthy, most fit!

He served his God by serving his brethren;
He made the world around him like heaven;
He left his glory upon earth for now;
His glory waits in God’s city above!

Such souls are rare who live for others’ sake;
Such creatures come from Maker’s special make;
Such lives have made this world like paradise;
Their lives will stay forever like sunrise!

This surgeon’s knife now rests in others’ hands!
His fame and name has spread to many lands;
His trail was etched on exemplary sands;
He’s gone to join the Maker’s choicest bands!

His noble life will pave the way for more;
He chose to enter God-sent newer door;
His love for human beings formed life’s core;
His example was one unseen before!

Such flowers blossom rarely once a while,
Perfuming air that spreads beyond the mile;
Their beauty has to wither but in style,
Remaining on the pages of God’s file!

‘May his soul rest in peace, till time shall some day cease! ’

Fondly dedicated with reverence to the philanthropist Dr.N.S. Murali, Hon. Sec., VHS, Chennai.

Knowledge Shall Increase

Learned people in the world gain more knowledge as each day goes by,
Unfortunately they never seem to acknowledge The Lord up in the sky.

Diplomas, certificates, and achievements are their present disguise,
But, The Lord up above will make foolishness the wisdom of the wise.

In the Bible the prophet Daniel stated that knowledge would increase,
However, in light of this increasing knowledge where is their peace.

Even in this world there's a peace to be found, this you can be sure,
But this peace is not of the world, but in the knowledge of The Lord.

The Lord also spoke of a famine that will spread throughout the land,
But his is not the normal famine of food that is known to common man.

It will be a spiritual famine, a worldwide famine of God's Holy Word,
Men's hearts will become harder, even some of those who have heard.

Soon all of the knowledge of the earth will be a thing of the past,
While only the knowledge of The Lord through all Eternity will last.

Man's wisdom and knowledge can be necessary down here on the earth,
But the knowledge for Heaven is higher and must include a New Birth.

This knowledge required for Eternity you will find in only one place,
It is found in God's Holy Bible, which we received through His Grace.

This knowledge is essential for everyone, when all is said and done,
For the only knowledge that will save you, is knowledge of The Son.

The Dreamers

THEY lingered on the middle heights
Betwixt the brown earth and the heaven;
They whispered, 'We are not the night's,
But pallid children of the even.'

They muttered, 'We are not the day's,
For the old struggle and endeavour,
The rugged and unquiet ways
Are dead and driven past for ever.'

They dreamed upon the cricket's tune,
The winds that stirred the withered grasses:
But never saw the blood-red moon
That lit the spectre mountain-passes.

They sat and marked the brooklet steal
In smoke-mist o'er its silvered surges:
But marked not, with its peal on peal,
The storm that swept the granite gorges.

They dreamed the shimmer and the shade,
And sought in pools for haunted faces:
Nor heard again the cannonade
In dreams from earth's old battle-places.

They spake, 'The ages all are dead,
The strife, the struggle, and the glory;
We are the silences that wed
Betwixt the story and the story.

'We are the little winds that moan
Between the woodlands and the meadows;
We are the ghosted leaves, wind-blown
Across the gust-light and the shadows.'

Then came a soul across those lands
Whose face was all one glad, rapt wonder,
And spake: 'The skies are ribbed with bands
Of fire, and heaven all racked with thunder.

'Climb up and see the glory spread,
High over cliff and 'scarpment yawning:
The night is past, the dark is dead,
Behold the triumph of the dawning!'

Then laughed they with a wistful scorn,
'You are a ghost, a long-dead vision;
You passed by ages ere was born
This twilight of the days elysian.

'There is no hope, there is no strife,
But only haunted hearts that hunger
About a dead, scarce-dreamed-of life,
Old ages when the earth was younger.'

Then came by one in mad distress,
'Haste, haste below, where strong arms weaken,
The fighting ones grow less and less!
Great cities of the world are taken!

'Dread evil rolls by like a flood,
Men's bones beneath his surges whiten,
Go where the ages mark in blood
The footsteps that their days enlighten.'

Still they but heard, discordant mirth,
The thin winds through the dead stalks rattle,
While out from far-off haunts of earth
There smote the mighty sound of battle.

Now there was heard an awful cry,
Despair that rended heaven asunder,
White pauses when a cause would die,
Where love was lost and souls went under,

The while these feebly dreamed and talked
Betwixt the brown earth and the heaven,
Faint ghosts of men who breathed and walked,
But deader than the dead ones even.

And out there on the middle height
They sought in pools for haunted faces,
Nor heard the cry across the night
That swept from earth's dread battle-places.

The Final Cut

Hell awaits & heaven won’t take me
I am in between planes
the final cut has been made
blood ooze out but I can’t feel the pain.
My bloodeth blood stops the time; for
Lucifer to arrive
elated, trying to take me to hell.
He says oh! Well
how you’ve become so heavy.
This is the miracle of the soul in slain,
he askth whose soul is in refrain.
It’s my very own Lucifer I said,
You are willing to give your life
for a cause he asked

Your son, the evil trying to impart and enter this world
thru a noble soul,
I have heeded to save this and devastate
and make your son’s play
A foul.
My blood oozes out from this cut
Save your son or save me
I know you would like to keep my soul.
Lend me thy hand to see this
this manifestation done by evil
I know you love thy son; but

as this is the final cut

For The Price And The Cost Of One's Life

The fact that it's talked about,
To be discussed...
Has advanced from whispers,
To an accepting public not shocked.

Secrets and demons do not join hands,
When the tentacles of evil reaches.
And has come to squeeze the life,
From one who has sold...
An image made to appear as sweet,
But with a lost soul.

And in places where the doing of it,
Is expected...
Souls are sold to glimmer like gold,
For the price and the cost of one's life.

Each A Teacher

From Adam to the latest born upon this sinful Earth,
Behold each soul, bereft, forlorn, of such diminished worth...
For Adam, with his woman Eve, defied the Lord of all
And with the Devil to deceive, God's angels saw them fall...

No longer wise in their own eyes, both man and woman knew,
Their nakedness to realise and with it, guilt that grew...
No longer quite as innocent, no longer fancy free,
They wondered what their Father meant, was death a certainty! ?

When God returned, the failures fled! Excuses left their lips!
A bloody sacrifice lay dead and from it blood still drips...
Life for a life, soul for a soul... Both man and woman groaned,
As Father maintained self-control the moment blood atoned...

Each a teacher, the Christians preach, salvation to impart,
Damnation's door no more to reach, if Heaven's in your heart...
While demons teach the lost to stray with every dying hour,
Hell waits lost souls on Judgment Day, for them, no saving power!

While you have breath, turn to the Lord, the Teacher who knows best,
The Teacher with His blood outpoured... so sinners could be blessed!
The Teacher who will come again, Jerusalem take note!
Believe Christ now, don't wait till then... Delay's no antidote...

From ages long since past and done, to ages here and now,
The Father has declared His Son, as with a solemn vow...
God promises a pardon to believers far and wide,
Eternal life for me and you in Christ once crucified...

Teacher’s Day,2009

What noble souls can teachers be!

They rear their students parent -like;
They teach them how to read and write;
They mould their character, conduct.

They impart knowledge from when kids;
They show the world what God has made,
Revealing beauty in all things.

They help the pupils learn by rote,
And teach them how to reason out,
And understand the world around.

They teach them sense of values, time,
And tell them what for, one is born,
Contrasting love of God and man.

They sacrifice their lives always,
And serve as role-models to some;
But some are exemplary souls!

They make the kids to become smart,
And train them to be skilled in life.
More mature grows the mind with ken!

For service done, they expect naught;
They teach until they can, no more,
And vanish silently from earth.

What noble souls can teachers be!
Children blossom to fine adults –
Responsible world citizens!

Let students thank and praise these souls
For achievements, accomplishments,
Indebted for the love thus shown!

What noble souls can teachers be!
Their service rendered is afree;
Do bless them well, O Almighty!

The Love Sonnets Of Proteus. Part IV: Vita Nova: LXXXIX

THE LIMIT OF HUMAN KNOWLEDGE
There is a vice in the world's reasoning. Man
Has conquered knowledge. He has conquered power;
He has traced out the universal plan
Of the Earth's being; and in this last hour
He has unmade the God which he had made.
I cannot doubt but he at length has read
The riddle of the Earth; that he is wise.
He also hath dominion charterèd
Over the lands, the oceans, and the skies,
Which toil and sweat to give him daily bread.
--Knowledge he hath, and power upon the Earth,
And long ago he had himself been God,
But for the cruel secret of his birth,
Which gave him kindred with the dust he trod,
And for the hideous ending of his mirth,
A fly--blown carrion festering 'neath the sod.

Be Still, My Soul, Be Still

Be still, my soul, be still; the arms you bear are brittle,
Earth and high heaven are fixt of old and founded strong.
Think rather,-- call to thought, if now you grieve a little,
The days when we had rest, O soul, for they were long.

Men loved unkindness then, but lightless in the quarry
I slept and saw not; tears fell down, I did not mourn;
Sweat ran and blood sprang out and I was never sorry:
Then it was well with me, in days ere I was born.

Now, and I muse for why and never find the reason,
I pace the earth, and drink the air, and feel the sun.
Be still, be still, my soul; it is but for a season:
Let us endure an hour and see injustice done.

Ay, look: high heaven and earth ail from the prime foundation;
All thoughts to rive the heart are here, and all are vain:
Horror and scorn and hate and fear and indignation--
Oh why did I awake? when shall I sleep again?

Heaven and Hell are Real

Our faith in God must come right from our hearts;
No one can see the God of creation;
We know of God certainly through Nature;
The Bible speaks enough of God’s kingdom.

Infinite love of God for man is clear;
God cares for every creature made by Him;
God punishes to cleanse our soul sin-free;
The Maker is a loving, living God.

God may permit sorrows and grief for man;
He will not give him more than he can bear;
Our God is fair and just in everything;
He made heaven for man out of great love.

Through Nature’s furies, God warns all bad men;
By stern punishments, God reminds man’s wrongs;
The love of God made man so perfectly;
The love of God wants souls to stay in grace.

Our savior Christ had bled to death on cross;
He paid a bloody price for all men’s sins;
Even the worst sinner can now see God;
Repent to enter Kingdom of heaven.

Why blame the God of love for our own faults?
Why not believe in God, rather in science?
Man’s toil per se can’t do the greatest feats;
We need God’s help to subdue the devil.

Victory against the devil is real;
All men can win the war against Satan;
Our God made hell for angels-turned devils;
But evil men will get a similar fate.

Awake, O mind, heart, soul of man on earth!
Lord Jesus comes again in short a time;
He’ll take pure souls to heaven instantly;
Unrepentant sinners will land in hell!

Sonnet: The Judgment Day Is Near

Whatever feat great, man performs on earth,
However long a life he may yet live,
Someday, the thread of life is cut my death!
However wise, no excuse can he give.

The Reckoning-day tho’ far is very near!
No one escapes the Lord’s just punishment;
To evil souls remains Hell’s gruesome fear,
Where darkness pitch-black lights the firmament.

No earthling dare be clever with the Lord!
The Maker questions only to the point;
No evil-doers escape His just rod;
The righteous men with bliss, He will anoint.

Help me prepare my soul for Judgment-day
Render Thy Graces plenty, God I pray.

Abraham Lincoln Poem

Sometimes it's hard to protect what is right
Sometimes we're scorned as for others we fight.
Some of us are willing regardless of loss
To commit our soul to save the cross.

Evil prospers on greed and human hate
Always eager to destroy and defecate.
God's grace descends on the souls of man
Cleansing the impure wherever He can.

As long as man has struggled on Earth
Life has had its troubles from birth.
God's seed of goodness has delayed man's demise
Thank Heaven for His heroes the strong and the wise.

The Lord adores His heroes of yesterday
Just how numerous, only He could say.
God loves His soldiers who line up to serve
By standing against evil His grace they deserve.

The Meaning of Christmas

The greatest gift of God to man is Christ!
The love for creature man that God displayed;
Born in a manger of Virgin Mary,
By the power of the Holy Spirit,
To redeem mankind from the wages of sin,
So that, ev’n sinners can go to Heaven.

The birth of baby Jesus is Christmas.
Heaven and earth rejoiced when he arrived;
“He would be named Emmanuel! ” said God.
And grow up wise with knowledge of scriptures;
And suffer for no sin or faults of his;
But die by crucifixion at young age,
Resurrect on third day, defeating death!

His sacred blood-shed wipes out any sin;
All sins confessed are forgiven by God;
He would die for all mankind, present, past;
He brought both peace and joy to life on earth;
He was a Prophet, miracle-worker;
He was God’s son in whom God was well pleased!

Christmas gave new hope to human beings;
God could forgive all mortal sins of man;
Hell was for devils; not for every man;
All those who repented would see God’s face;
Jesus was Messiah, God’s begotten son;
God so loved the world, He gave his one son!

Christmas is in giving;
Christmas is in sharing;
Christmas is in loving;
Christmas is in caring;
Christmas is in humbling;
Christmas is in suffering
For others, for Christ’s sake!

Christmas is in repenting;
Christmas is in praying;
Christmas is in forgiving;
Christmas is in keeping
Our souls sinless and pure;
Christmas is in bringing
Back Christ into our hearts!

I feel lost in my own thoughts.
lost in a world of struggle between good and evil.
lost in my dreams, my soul, even my own damn life.
what kinda life is that?
sure as hell aint the life i want,
but i got.
struggling every day to pull myself out of this deep dark hole...i sit back and watch my life pass me by...hour by hour...day by day.
but im still waitin for that day that i can stand up and say 'yup that WAS me and if i can do YOU sure as hell can to'...

Hope Is Not For The Wise

Hope is not for the wise, fear is for fools;
Change and the world, we think, are racing to a fall,
Open-eyed and helpless, in every newscast that is the news:
The time's events would seem mere chaos but all
Drift the one deadly direction. But this is only
The August thunder of the age, not the November.
Wise men hope nothing, the wise are naturally lonely
And think November as good as April, the wise remember
That Caesar and even final Augustulus had heirs,
And men lived on; rich unplanned life on earth
After the foreign wars and the civil wars, the border wars
And the barbarians: music and religion, honor and mirth
Renewed life's lost enchantments. But if life even
Had perished utterly, Oh perfect loveliness of earth and heaven.

Am I Evil (intro)

My mother was a witch, she was burned alive.
Thankless little bitch, for the tears I cried.
Take her down now, don't want to see her face
All blistered and burnt, can't hide my disgrace.
Twenty-seven, everyone was nice.
Gotta see 'em make 'em pay the price.
See their bodies out on the ice.
Take my time.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man, yes I am.
As I watched my mother die, I lost my head.
Revenge now I sought, to break with my bread.
Taking no chances, you come with me.
I'll split you to the bone, help set you free.
Twenty-seven, everyone was nice.
Gotta see 'em make 'em pay the price.
See their bodies out on the ice.
Take my time.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man, yes I am.
On with the action now, I'll strip your pride.
I'll spread your blood around, I'll see you ride.
Your face is scarred with steel, wounds deep and neat.
Like a double dozen before ya, smells so sweet.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
I'll make my residence, I'll watch your fire.
You can come with me, sweet desire.
My face is long forgot, my face not my own.
Sweet and timely whore, take me home.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
My soul is longing for, await my heir.
Sent to avenge my mother, sweep myself.
My face is long forgot, my face not my own.
Sweet and timely whore, take me home.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
Am I evil? Yes I fuc*ing am.
Am I evil? I am man, yeah

God’s Reflection

God sees His own reflection
As if on the water

Prophet Mohammad the mercy of God
Is the best reflection of God’s character!
Prophet Mary the best girl of the world
Is the best reflection of God’s beauty and purity!
Prophet Jesus the soul of our Lord
Is the best reflection of God’s peace!
The Holy Koran the difference maker
Between the good and the evil
Is the best reflection of God’s favor!

So Much Hate

so much hate
so much hate
when did there become
so much hate?

I seem to remember
a time when
they said there was
a fine line between
love and hate

now,
so much hate
so much hate
when did there become
so much hate?

a time......
long time ago
when there was
a heaven
and an earth,
the sky opened up
and we were star struck

now,
so much hate
so much hate
between
love and hate?

when did this come
into our world,
when did this come?

when did this come
into our world,
when did this come?

Just Why The Son Was Given

For unto us a child was born, and unto us The Son was given.
Through The Son I am reborn, and by His blood I am forgiven.
On a cross of shame and scorn, His life for all was freely given.
Many hearts indeed were torn, as the temple curtain was riven.

But that was the end of The Law, and began the Age of Grace.
And access was open to all, who in prayer would seek His face.
This was for men big and small, at any time and from any place.
He came to redeem from the fall, all the sinners of Adam’s race.

The only man, who had no sin, came into this world to be a light.
A world that was made by Him, and filled by men with evil blight.
His light in me He placed within, to guide me in the darkest night.
And as you faithfully follow Him, He fills you with eternal delight.

Christ came as God had willed, to become the Savior of all men.
Christ Jesus being Spirit filled, said that men must be born again.
But by His own, Christ was killed, as one who stood condemned.
However friend this only fulfilled, Christ’s set purpose for all men.

The reason Jesus came to earth, was to be God’s final sacrifice.
For short of Glory was our worth, and so The Son paid the price,
So from God we gain new birth, and this is through Jesus Christ.
And soon we will leave this earth, to begin with Him Eternal Life.
