On Display
People were talking the other day that they’re
going to put your love on display.
How can a person be so in love
That they talk about the stars above.
How can you show your heart like an open book
And that with a smile was all it took.
There had to be more to it than a smile?
If you could explain it, then I’ll sit a while.
I said: the heart is a complex thing
And with it emotions it brings
The heart holds all that you may see and feel
And like a fishing pole it has a reel.
The reel can let out or pull in its slack
And once you’re hooked, there’s no turning back.
Like the fish you will fight to be free
But this is part of life s destiny.
The heart holds many things you’ve

Loneliness
Without permission loneliness visited
and settled in my heart,
So cruel to the heart it took over control,
It made me envy other souls with mates.
For mine hasen't one to care for;
I sleep with my heart awake,

Mystery Child
as i walked through the hospital corridors
i saw this child coming towards ne
her head was shaven and very red.
she looked up and smiled at me
and made my heart skip a beat.
in a voice so soft that i could hardly hear
she wished me joy and good cheer.
i knew right from the start
that this child had a loving heart.
for even though she was in pain
from everything that she had gone through
and it was hard for her to walk
she stopped and smiled and started to talk.
she was born with a sickness at birth
and was daily fighting for her life.
but she had such faith in god above
that she would be alright
and knew that she had to fight.
this battle that they said she could not win
but to her -giving up was a sin.
i started to choke up inside and the tears started to roll
from my eyes.she gently wiped away my tears.
and whispered gently in my ear.
if only the world could see and feel what i have
locked up inside-that god has given me
there would be peace and harmony.
for the lord has shown me what is on the other side when i die
but! i will be here for a very long time.
for there are many hearts i've yet to touch
before i am taken away.

i started to choke up again, and when i looked up again she was gone.

Pestilential Solemn
From a deep slumber, a forever rest; lies abreast from me a lowly being.
T'was the same like before who showed no signs of fleeing.
He looked at me with his eyes he glared,
he looked at me with his nostrils flared.
He reached within me and grabbed my soul,
disappearing now into a world of cold.
An ethereal place where nightmare lurks,
as I wonder alone being the berkes.
I stood there edgewise as a crow flew to me,
he showed no fear, from what I could see.
He spoke with a voice so soft and ease,
'Weary traveler, let your trouble seize.'
I am stricken with angst as time before me froze
'What is now to come, but one of many woes? '
The crow before me, glisten and glowed;
forming a mirror, myself it showed.
Upon his chest a darkened hole,
and in his right hand beating, his heart and soul.
He reached with his left, grabbing my arm from the mirror,
my eyesight blurred for a second now is clearer.
He dragged me in as the mirror liquefied,
leaving me alone on the other side.
My body it burned as I looked upon my breast,
my heart was gone, a blackened hole upon my chest;
a beating in my hand with my heart in chains,
agony overwhelms as insanity now reigns.
A ghost beside me, a face like mine;
he laughed and jest as I am benign.
Time still froze while I lay restless,
lost in this dream, nonetheless.

Our Time On Earth & Light Of The World
Our time on Earth is full, dangerous, and demanding
Truth is it's just a brief period of our existence.
Someday we'll face God much sooner than we realize
And have to answer to our stupidity and r
esistance.
We have relationships, responsibilities, dreams, and goals
Desires we long to see fulfilled and come true.
Our fear, guilt, faith, love, joy and conviction
Are judged by everything we say and do.
As we step beyond the threshold of this world
We enjoy the fullness of God's Kingdom above.
Think about the glorious future that waits
For all who trust Him for forgiveness, salvation, and love.
LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Jesus told His disciples they were the 'Light of the World'
When light enters a room it drives darkness away.
Allowing those inside to see more clearly
Our Lord's desire His people follow not stray.
When Jesus commissioned us to become disciples
He told us to teach others to observe His demands.
Millions of people know nothing of Jesus or God
Or the outcome of all those who ignore His commands.
It's up to the faithful to broadcast His truth
By our actions, forgiveness, and sensitivity of voice.
We cannot stop sharing His message of love
For a world without faith destroys confidence and choice.
OUR ETERNAL DESTINY
If you're unsure of your eternal destiny
The first investment you must make involves your soul.
God created you to live forever
And to spend eternity with Him is His goal.
Have you trusted Christ to bridge the gap
Between you and God's grace from above?

For Those In Christ
Only those in Christ my friend, will see eternal blessing in the end,
Only those found in Jesus Christ, won't see death, but eternal life,
The Eternal Life all souls receive, when in Christ they truly believe,
The very moment they trust in Him, Jesus, who saved us from sin.
Saved out of the world we live in, to life above, that'll soon begin,
For when this present life is no more, we begin a life, forevermore,
With The Savior, Who died for us, alive eternally with Christ Jesus,
The One Who died but rose again, to give life to all believing men.
This life begins at our last breath, as breathed; we'll see not death,
But, we shall enter into Eternity, to reside beyond that Crystal Sea,
Far into another time and place, when we behold our Savior's face,
Stepping onto that Eternal Shore, to be with The Lord forevermore.
This is why Christ came to earth, to offer mortal men Spiritual Birth,
For this is why Christ came to die, to offer eternal life, to you and I,
This is why He became a sacrifice, so we could enter into Paradise,
This was provided by God above, through Christ, to show His love.
For the love God showed to us, one must respond to Christ Jesus,
With a personal belief, through faith, to accept God's loving Grace,
A true acceptance, in your heart, and of His Church you'll be a part,
A member of the Body of Christ, knowing you'll receive Eternal Life.
