The eternal story

Long before time its race began
or upon earth stepped the first man.
Before planets their circuits made
or light its virgin rays displayed.

The Council of the Triune One
Father, Holy Spirit and Son.
In eternity past did plan
to come and die for sinful man.

'Who shall I send' was the great cry.
'Here I am, send me', the reply.
Then as a small babe wrapped in flesh
came the Lord our Righteousness.

Angelic host proclaimed the birth
for their Lord had come down to earth.
God confined to a human span
had come to live and walk with man.

Jesus lived and walked amongst men
sharing with us wisdom from heaven.
His sinless life men could not stand.
So they removed Him from the land.

The Saviour of the human race
hung upon the cross in disgrace
and then as He succumbed to death.
Upon that tree drew His last breath.

Where as He hung His head to die
'It is finished' came His great cry.
Then deep into the grave He went.
Where three days and three nights He spent.

Hell was not able hold its' prey.
He tore the bars of death away.
He who died came to life again
and arose from that dark domain.

A peon of praise fills the skies.
The Lord our God it magnifies.
Throughout heaven the chorus rings.
Proclaiming Jesus King of kings.

Angel hosts take up the refrain
'Holy is the Lord', they proclaim.
Then our voices join the great throng
singing God's praises all day long.

You breathed Your last breath for me

'Heavenly Father, not My will, but Yours, ' You cried
then went to the hill of Golgotha where You died.
There upon Calvary's cross You breathed Your last breath
even though You had power over hell and death.

The angels were not able to understand why
the Immortal God had to bow His head and die.
For they were unaware of the eternal plan
that the Triune God agreed before time began.

In that great counsel You said, 'Here I am Send me.'
Willing You were, to hang upon that awful tree.
Willing, to carry my sins in Your body there.
Willing in my place the full wrath of God to bear.

Because of You, Lord Jesus I can now go free.
Because You have laid down your life at Calvary.
Because You hung on that cruel cross in my stead.
Because Your precious blood for me has been shed.

*************

Now I know that when the time comes for my last breath
that my life will not just end in my earthly death.
There in the shadow of death You will lead me through
to spend an eternity in heaven with You.

The Battle For The Eternal Destiny Of Mankind

I - The plan was agreed

Before the moments of time had begun
at the great council of the Triune One.
A plan was devised for the salvation of man
and was agreed upon before all life began.

A mighty battle on earth was going to take place
one to decide the destiny of the human race.
There was no hope, no place for man to flee
the wages of sin is death, was Gods decree.

II - God became a man

Then 'Here I am, ' You said, 'Send me.'
Willing, You were to hang upon the tree.
Willing to be contracted to a human span.
Willing to enter into the world of man.

Such condescension and such grace
God entered upon earth this human race.
Taking on human flesh He then became
a Babe of man to bear our sinful shame.

It was such an awesome and incredible plan
to condense Yourself and become a man.
Thus the Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise
took on our mortality to pay sins price.

III - The sacrifice was made

Then that awful day came in God's great plan
when You were taken aside by sinful man.
Made to climb the steep hill to Calvary's tree.
There You were to die for sin to set us free.

This world could not comprehend such love.
It was the love of God from heaven above.,
So we took You to that place of hate and pain.
There nailed You to a cross and had You slain.

Upon Golgotha's hill the battle took place
the fight for the future of the human race.
In penalty for our sin Your body was impaled
as upon the cross the Son of God was nailed.

A battle had to be fought and a victory won
by the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Only Son.
The warfare commenced on this earthly plain
as alone You hung there in agony and pain.

Those gathered around the cross looking on
ranted and raged saying 'If He is Gods Son'
'Let Him come down and leave the battle scene.'
Oh Lord, how different things would have been.

IV - The price was paid

There sin upon sins were on Your body laid
as for the iniquity of man the price You paid.
'My God, why have You forsaken me? ' You cried
as the filth and stench of sin Father and Son divide.

Separated from God, alone You hung upon the tree.
By Your stripes we were healed from our iniquity.
There stricken and smitten of God were You then.
Bruised and wounded for the transgressions of men.

The sin of mankind upon Your body was laid
as lash by lash the price for each one You paid.
Wounded there You bore the wrath of Mighty God
and paid the penalty for men's sin by Your blood.

Your body was pierced and Your blood was shed
and men placed a crown of thorns upon Your head.
The leprosy of our sin could only be borne by You.
No other price could be paid. Death only would do.

'Father forgive', was Your great cry to heaven
as deep into Your flesh the nails were driven.
The pain and suffering You bore that awful day
was to pay for man's sin, there was no other way.

You were persistent, fighting on against the foe
determined to deliver us from our sinful woe.
'It is finished' was Your mighty victorious cry
and to death You submitted Your body to die.

V - The battle enters the realms of death

But this was not to be the end of You my Lord.
The battle was not to be fought by human sword.
Into Satan's territory the fight was to take place
to determine the eternal destiny of the human race.

The greatest battle this world has ever known
was fought by You Lord, as You stood alone.
Heavens hosts looked on with baited breath
as You took the fight into the realms of death.

Into that bottomless Abyss You began Your descent.
Deeper into the very depths of death You went
Alone You stood in Satan's dark territory there
as hells creatures approach they roar and glare.

VI - The battle against Satan and his army

The grave was now the new battle ground
and all of Satan's minions gathered around.
In death's sepulchre on and on the battle raged
alone You stood firm and Satan's army engaged.

There Your soul was ravaged as Satan fought
hoping to find one sin he clawed as he sought.
Just one sin alone that's all it would take
one little sin only, just one single mistake.

The bulls of Bashan their mouths opened wide
ripping into Your soul, wounded hands and side.
Like ravening beasts they gored as they roared
your bones all out of joint like water You poured.

Deeper and deeper into Your soul they fought.
Ruthlessly and fervently for any sin they sought.
Your strength was all dried up in great weariness.
Tongue sticking to Your mouth, onward You pressed.

Three days and nights without respite You fought
with unearthly foes You wrestled and wrought.
Who can tell what awful things they tried to do
as this gruesome army fought to destroy You.

Satan roared and clawed at Your body in despair
but found no sin and could not hold You there.
For no sin was to be found in this perfect man
nothing that could hold You in deaths domain.

VII - Satan and Death are defeated

No enemies were left to stand or fight and claw.
Satan's mighty army defeated had to withdraw.
For our great Captain of Salvation had overcome
and Victor o'er death and the grave had become.

Death is vanquished and sins powers ceased.
Now Satan is defeated and his captives released.
Your victory over sin destroyed all of its powers
and won the fight with death that final foe of ours.

VIII - Mankind is saved

Then out from the tomb in triumph You arose
with victory and supremacy over all Your foes.
That moment the destiny of this world changed
as the life of Christ for ours was exchanged

'Why do you look for Jesus amongst the dead'
these were the words the angels to Mary said.
Later in the garden she heard You called her name
then turning around 'Rabboni' was her refrain.

The voice she thought she'd never hear again
came speaking from the grave so clear and plain.
There before her in glorious resurrection victory
stood her Lord, untouchable but alive was He.

The gates of death You have burst open wide
setting free all of the prisoners locked inside.
'Oh grave you no longer have any hold on me.'
Your sting is removed for my Lord holds the key.

IX - The first Man enters into heaven

For the battle for mankind has now been won
great victory over death by God's Only Son.
'It is finished' was Your resounding victory cry.
All heaven applauds as You ascend into the sky.

Hidden by the clouds from the disciples sight
was our great redeemer who had won the fight.
But as God in mercy lifts the veil of clouds away
and we see You approaching the Ancient of days.

There standing before the great hosts in heaven
by God an eternal kingdom You have been given.
A kingdom comprising of every tongue and nation
each one praising the Author of their salvation.

X - Mankind enters heaven

Every tribe and kindred will be represented there
each one set free from the shame of sins despair.
Broken completely is Satan's hold upon them
no more can he point to their sin and condemn.

It is because our great sinless Saviour died
that the wages of sin has been fully satisfied.
The lamb that was slain in heaven now stands.
Fulfilled is God's plan and the laws demands.

Of the travail of Your soul You will be satisfied
as unnumbered saints gather there at Your Side.
The eternal kingdom of Christ has at last begun
and victory over sin and death has now been won.

My heart rejoices in God and my Spirit sings
in praise and worship to the great King of kings.
For this Mighty One has done all things well
and delivered my soul from the depths of hell.

XI - The great song of victory

Unnumbered myriads of the redeemed shall sing
when gathered in heaven before their great King.
All heaven shall join in the glorious victory song
united together as one in a great heavenly throng.

'Worthy is the Lamb that died' is their cry.
'Worthy is the Lamb' all the redeemed reply.
As every knee in heaven and earth bow before
The One who died and is alive for evermore.

Good Friday...

Behold the wood that went to make the cross
That bore the Saviour Lord, King Jesus Christ:
The holy cross at Calvary on which
Was hung, the Redeemer of mankind race!

That man was only Son of God in flesh,
Who suffered, shed His precious blood as price
For every sin of everyone on earth,
Of Adam and of Eve in lineage!

It wasn’t about the cross that Jesus bore;
It was about the One who hung on it!
He came to earth as Mary’s baby boy,
And gave to men the Good News, peace and joy!

The cross of wood assumed significance
When Jesus died upon it for our sins;
The sacrifice supreme was love of God
For creature man of clay whom He had made!

When Christ resurrected upon third day,
And won o’er death and satan for all times,
The holy cross became the weapon sole
That scares away the devils back to hell!

The cross became the symbol of Christians,
Reminding man of Salvation for all,
As Christ had paid the price on our behalf,
And turned to be the Truth, Light, Way to God!

The holy cross beckons each one of us
To take up each one’s cross and follow Christ;
It is the only hope for all mankind
As life on earth becomes so meaningful!

God’s Love was born on Christmas day as Christ!
Man’s sins nailed Him to death upon the cross!
Christ’s obeisance to Father freed mankind
If repentant, from Fiery Pit of hell!

Reflect on passions Christ had undergone,
Before He died upon the holy cross;
Follow His teachings and precepts for man;
Heaven is nigh for sinners penitent!

Heavenly Citizenship

I’m no longer of this earth; I have been changed by a spiritual birth,
Although I still walk this sod, I now belong to the Kingdom of God.
A heavenly plane beyond this earth; in a Kingdom of Eternal Worth,
While down here, I am led by God, comforted by His staff and rod.

Although I was born on earth in sin, of Heaven above I am a citizen,
A new citizen of Heaven, eternally, all through the Cross of Calvary.
While I am here He lives within, through The Holy Spirit sent by Him,
Jesus Christ, who came to die for me, to give me New Life eternally.

It’s the Holy Spirit who lives inside, helping this sinner daily to abide,
To abide in my Lord, Jesus Christ, who gave to this sinner a new life.
For, when The Lord was crucified, New Life, I received when He died,
When for me, Jesus paid that price, by becoming for me a Sacrifice.

After Christ had died in my stead, my Lord rose again from the dead,
Leaving empty, the Garden Tomb, and sealing forever, Satan’s doom,
And with Christ being The Living Bread, up to Heaven, He went ahead,
Leaving behind death’s dark gloom, to set up for me an eternal room.

As a member of the human race, my heavenly citizenship is of Grace,
The thought I’d alone never conceive, let alone, something I’d achieve.
But soon I’ll see my Lord’s face, when I’m lifted to my heavenly place,
Friend all this too, you can receive, if in Christ you would just believe.

Thank You Lord

Thank you Lord for your sacrifice by sending your Son Jesus Christ,
Christ put aside His Iron Rod to come to earth as The Lamb of God.
Thank you Lord for dying for me on that wicked cross up on Calvary,
The very God of all eternity died on a bloody cross in place of me.

Thank you Lord for seeking my heart and giving me a brand new start,
God found me in a darkened life and gave to me a new life in Christ.
Thank you Lord for forgiving my sin, cleansing my heart deep within,
God sees me but not my old life, being washed in the blood of Christ.

Thank you Lord for saving me and seating me with Christ in Eternity.
Although still upon the earth, I’m positioned in Heaven by new birth.
Thank you Lord for loving me and opening my eyes, so that I may see,
Christ touched me with His Grace and removed the veil from my face.

Thank you Lord for The Spirit inside who for me is an Eternal Guide.
Wisdom to me The Spirit brings guiding and teaching me in all things.
Thank you Lord for using my life to draw other men unto Jesus Christ,
I’ve died to self and live for Christ so that others may have New Life.

Thank you Lord for all my needs as you are faithful to the end indeed,
Addressing every need and care, of all my needs He is fully aware.
Thank you Lord for the times we talk anywhere along my life’s walk,
Whether on the road or in my home, I have access to God’s Throne.
I Thank you that from the start you placed a song deep in my heart,
With a new song in my heart to sing, I thank you Lord for everything.

Right Christian Belief

The Christian Body, that's you and me, live in light of orthodoxy,
The right belief of Revelation, which creates a strong foundation,
Unchanging Truths in Scripture, give to us a foundational picture,
Of God's Truth that we live by, unchanging Truths, we can't deny.

The first is The Lord God's Unity; He is The Only God of Eternity,
Then there's The Holy Trinity; Father, Son and The Spirit are three;
In the virgin birth we do believe, as our Savior Mary did conceive,
The Spirit conceived The Sinless Christ, sinless all His earthly life.

In light of man's total depravity, The Lord came to save humanity,
While The Lord retained His deity, as The Lord God of all Eternity;
And Christ was fully human too, walking on earth like me and you,
For Christ came to this sinful place, to grant sinners Saving Grace.

Saved by faith in Jesus Christ, Who came to give men eternal life,
For we trust in God's sacrifice, The Atoning Death of Jesus Christ,
But God had resurrected His Son; Christ, giving hope to everyone,
And Christ is coming back again, as Judge and Savior, of all men.

These beliefs are our foundation, Essential pillars of our Salvation,
Essential beliefs revealed to us, through the life of our Lord Jesus,
Unalterable beliefs for everyone, who comes to God's Eternal Son,
For His Salvation and Eternal Life, through the Savior Jesus Christ.

Be Prepared With a Reason

Be prepared in and out of season, to give all men a heartfelt reason,
For all the peace you have within, through the hope you have in Him.
The Hope we have in Jesus Christ, the sure hope of an Eternal Life,
An Eternal Life with Christ our Lord, in Heaven with Him forevermore.

We must point all men to the cross, that place of comfort for the lost,
Where Christ had died for all of us, where all believers put their trust.
Friend, our trust is in The Sacrifice, of God’s Only Son, Jesus Christ,
The Sinless Lamb for sinful men, The Lord who died for all my friend.

Christ gives to believers a New Birth, while we’re still upon this earth,
Upon the moment that we believed, The Holy Spirit we then received.
The Spirit was sent by Jesus Christ, for guiding us in this present life,
To guide us through all the years, until that day when Christ appears.

Friend, all our hope is found in Him, The One who died for all our sin,
And this hope we have my friend, unlike life on earth, shall never end.
When Christ died and rose again, He secured eternal life for all men,
And very soon Believers shall rise, to meet our Lord above the skies.

Friend, our Hope is really a guarantee, that we shall live for Eternity,
The Hope in what we can not see, through Christ will become reality.
And this Hope is for all my friend, for life on this earth is not the end,
Today put your hope in Jesus Christ, and you will inherit Eternal Life.

Raised Up By God

Friend, I was raised up by God, to walk with Him upon earth’s sod,
He raised me up from the dust, when He breathed life into all of us.
But, because of man’s sinful fall, I did not walk with The Lord at all,
I simply went about my sinful way, living only for myself day to day.

Although I did not walk with Him, He came to save me from my sin,
While upon that cross at Calvary, where Christ died for you and me.
That sin that lead my heart astray, had taken me down a darker way,
But it was God’s love, not His wrath, that lead me to a brighter path.

I simply lived a life of emptiness, as I lived in my own righteousness,
A life far removed from God above, and void of His Grace and Love.
And it took me to an empty plight, all shaded by the darkened night,
But He put me on a path that’s right, one filled with my Savior’s Light.

God then raised me up to New Life, one that is found in Jesus Christ,
The Lord, who had truly died for me, has now given me Life Eternally.
Christ who raised me from the dust, is the One in whom I put my trust,
And through the power of New Birth, will soon raise me from the earth.

I shall be raised by Christ my Lord, to then live with God forevermore,
Until then, God fills these earthly days, with His Power and His Praise,
To lead others on earth to new life, through the Power of Jesus Christ,
And when together we are raised, in Glory God will be forever praised.

The unfaith of Lord Daniel

The unfaith of Lord Daniel

I believe in God; the Father, the Son and the Spirit
But I don’t give all my trust to this God above
I believe to the Father Almighty
But still all the troubles He can’t convince me
Yes creator of heaven and earth
And all there within: the Angels and the Fallen;

I believe in Jesus Christ
But too ideal, ‘man’ cannot follow His own ways
Though the only “Son, our Lord”
But look what I did: hung Him on a Tree
Even if he was conceived by the Spirit
But who knows if this is only a perfect fraud
And made to be born of the Virgin Mary
Therefore, He is purely human like you and me;

I believe He suffered under Pontius Pilate
From the crime and only death would be the ransom
So He was crucified, died and was burred
To the mysterious grave
I believe He descended to the Dead
The same story I read from Dante who visited Hell
On the third day He rose again and ascended to Heaven
But another story that brings no meaning to me
I believe He seated at the right hand of the Father
While watching the killings for His Name;

I believe in the Spirit the other person in the Trinity
But the unseen, the result of Ancient Philosophy
I believe in the Holy Catholic Church
But poisoned my ignorance and leave me hungry and thirsty;

I believe in the communion of the Saints
But pay homage to the Holy Tomb and Sacred Stones
I believe in the forgiveness of Sins
But in my tongue I keep the Devil the “Other Theologian”
I believe in the resurrection of the body
But bring them again into captivity chained without dignity
I believe in life everlasting
But I keep on dying, lying and pretending;

Amen,

My creed with heart that praises and head who curses

Amen…

Note:
The 'The unfaith of Lord Daniel' was the contrast between theology and science; faith and doubt; of what is professed from the heart and from what is in the head. The author’s personal experience was depicted in the “The unfaith of Lord Daniel” –the conversation with the self proclaimed unbeliever to Jesus and worship of the “devil”.

The Lion And The Lamb

Christ, He is The Lion and The Lamb, The Lord God, The Great I AM,
He always was and will always be, He’s Lord and God of all Eternity,
The Eternal God and The Creator, had left Heaven, to be The Savior,
The God of Heaven and Eternity, had come to earth for you and me.

God had sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, to be our sacrifice,
The Lamb of God for fallen man, was decreed in God’s Eternal Plan,
Christ came to earth and He died, when by sinners, He was crucified,
He died on a tree, in our stead, but after that, He rose from the dead.

Now in Heaven at God’s Right Hand, as Lord and Ruler of every land,
Again Glorified on His Eternal Throne, and interceding for all His own,
All who believe and follow The Lamb, men saved by The Son of Man,
Now children of The Eternal God, even while we’re on this earthly sod.

But our Lord is coming back again, to judge every nation and all men,
Christ as Lord and Judge this time, decreed by God’s Eternal Design,
He shall reign upon God’s Holy Hill, as God’s Word Christ does fulfill,
Reigning in God’s Righteousness, as He will judge man’s ungodliness.

Jesus Christ, Who was and is today, provided for all, Salvation’s Way,
Receiving for us, God’s Eternal Wrath, He opened up God’s only path,
Through a new and Spiritual Birth, to reign with The Lamb on this earth,
But all who reject God’s Gift to men, The Lion of Judah shall condemn.

Today... 'The Author and Finisher of our faith

Before the seconds of time had begun.
At the great council of the Triune One.
A plan was devised for the salvation of man
and was agreed upon before all life began.

Such an awesome and incredible plan
to condense Yourself and become a man.
The Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise
took on all our mortality to pay sins price.

Then that awful day came in Your great plan
when the Author of Life was taken by man
and made to climb the steep hill to Calvary's tree.
There You lay down Your life for sin and set us free.

'It is finished' was your victory cry
as You gave Your life in a final sigh.
Finished completely was that work of grace.
Salvation made possible for the human race.

Completing the work that You came to do
all Your followers made perfect in You.
Each having a righteousness not of their own
but from the One seated on the heavenly throne.

Fixing our eyes upon the Risen Lord
Who for the joy before Him the cross endured.
Made perfect through suffering sin and its shame
and been given the Name above every name.

All Creation joins in the victory song
united in one great heavenly throng.
To the Author and Finisher of Faith we sing
gathered in heaven before our glorious King.

Today... 'Eternal Life

Eternal Life. Death has no hold on You
for a sinless life You lived Faithful and True.
When time shall cease and worlds no longer be
You shall live on throughout eternity.

This Life has appeared and was seen by men.
The Son of God has come and has given
understanding to know the One Who is true
for He Who was with the Father is You.

I have been to Your cross and seen You there
and cried out to You in my great despair.
'Forgive me Lord, I don't know what to do, '
you heard me cry as I confessed to You.

'It is finished, ' You cried upon the tree
as Your earthly life You gave up for me.
You exchanged my life for an endless one
and Eternal Life in me has begun.

Reaching out to me in great love You bear
my awful sins upon Your shoulders there.
Such healing I received at Calvary
and there Eternal Life began for me.

Death has been swallowed up in victory
no longer the grave has a hold on me.
Though once hell held captive and domineered
no longer its portals are to be feared.

No more shall life be three score years and ten
or limits placed upon the years of men.
For Christ came to this earth that blesséd day
and died to take the sting of death away.

Oh how can I thank You for Your mercy.
Nobody else has shown such love to me.
Please help me Lord her on this earth to show
by my life the debt of love that I owe.

So Much for Us

The Lord God did so much for us, when we came to Christ Jesus,
Wickedly lost and so depraved, sinful men, by Christ God saved,
So far from any thoughts of God, living upon this sin cursed sod,
Who, when found in Jesus Christ, are now clothed for Eternal Life.

We were chosen by God's Grace, then destined for a better place,
To live forever with Jesus Christ, this, as we enter into Eternal Life;
As He who loved us died for all, to redeem man from Adam's Fall,
Saved from that curse of death, when we're granted eternal breath.

Yes, God bought us with a price, so we could enter into Paradise,
The Precious Blood of The Lamb, so to live with The Great 'I AM';
Cleansing us from sin and stain, not through our trial, but His pain,
Through Christ's death on Calvary, so that man could live eternally.

He robed us in His Righteousness, far from our wicked sinfulness,
And His Righteousness will endure, from this time, to forevermore;
As Christ keeps us upon this earth, through His Spirit of New Birth,
Being kept for greater things, to serve eternally, The King of kings.

By Christ we have been Glorified, so that in Heaven we may reside,
In that Mansion, prepared for us, by our risen Savior, Christ Jesus,
To live with The Lord God forever, with Christ's Church all together,
Being together in Heaven eternally; all attained by Christ at Calvary.

Who We Worship

We worship God, for Who He is, Believers, who are forever His,
Redeemed believers on this earth, praising One of eternal worth.
The Lord God is infinite; regarding restrictions, there's not a hint,
Not at all limited by time or space, larger than any span or place.

God is immutable in all His ways; He's changed not all His days,
Is the same yesterday and forever, our Lord God changes never.
God's omnipotent regarding power, more than able, day or hour,
To do anything, mindful of this, God can't contradict, Who He is.

God is omnipresent, all the time, not simply in Heavenly sublime,
Always present, yes everywhere, at any place God shall be there.
God is omniscient, knowing all, and there's nothing, big or small,
That The Lord does not know, even where your thoughts may go.

The Lord above has total freedom, as eternity is where He's from,
He's free to rule the earth below, in ways that only God can know.
Freedom, God gives to each of us, when we accept Christ Jesus,
Freeing us from the bondage of sin, to live our lives through Him.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, seated above this earth we trod,
And through The Savior, Jesus Christ, we too, can live a holy life.
The Holy Eternal God is Love, as He reached from Heaven above,
With love He showed to everyone, as He sacrificed His Only Son.

The Lord God is Righteous indeed, an attribute that all must heed,
For all men will be accountable, to Him who died on Calvary's Hill.
God above is totally Sovereign, reigning in the Spirit and His Son,
And Christ, Who reigns eternally, shall reign on earth for all to see.

The Lord God of Heaven is Truth, with revealed scripture as proof,
Of His Mighty Works of the past, pointing to Truths that shall last,
This, The God we worship today, provided for men The Only Way,
To go from earth to Eternal Life, through the Truth of Jesus Christ.

The Glory of The Lord

The Glory of The Lord came down, in the midst of men, He was found,
When on this darkened earthly sod, men had beheld the Glory of God.
John the Baptist prepared the way, for the Glory of Christ on that day,
When upon this earth came the Light, displayed by God in men’s sight.

When Christ, by John, was baptized, He by His Father was recognized,
For that moment His Father seized, to say, in His Son He was pleased.
Then The Spirit in the form of a dove, descended on Christ from above,
Acknowledging Christ for everyone, confirming that Jesus was His Son.

Through The Spirit of The Lord, the Father and Son are of one accord,
Healing and teaching He’d proclaim, all authority in His Father’s Name.
Christ had spoke with such authority, coming from The God of Eternity,
For all Authority was given to Christ; The Son who came to give us life.

Even when Christ Jesus had died, His Father in Heaven was Glorified,
As this earth quaked down below, many hearts of men began to know,
This was The Christ God had sent, as He had the Temple curtain rent.
As one soldier said with a fearful nod, surely this was The Son of God.

Although that day Christ was killed, it was God’s Word that He fulfilled,
Being buried by men close to Him, in a tomb in the midst of men of sin.
But, much to the surprise of men, in three days, Christ had risen again.
He was resurrected just as before; Glorified again was Christ our Lord.

And Jesus again appeared to those, who heard from the grave he rose,
Appearing to men in a body Glorified, Christ who on the cross had died.
After forty days Christ would ascend, to Heaven as risen Savior of men,
And the Heavenly Glory was restored, to Jesus Christ, the Eternal Lord.

Come Lord Jesus, Take Me Home

Originally written as a song, tune: Joan Baez, All my trials Lord, soon be over

This earthly life has got me down
When I get home, I’ll wear a crown
Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

God has promised me in his word
Eternal life through my risen Lord
Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

I’ve not yet seen it, but I’ve been told
Heaven’s streets are paved with gold
Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

Holy Spirit leads I know he’s right
He comforts me both day and night
Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

When life on earth has come and gone
I’ll live in heaven before his throne
Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

Come, Lord Jesus, take me home

More Than Just Life

I’m truly alive this very day, through The Truth, The Life and Way,
For today I’m alive in Jesus Christ, the Author of my Eternal Life.
I was alive but spiritually dead, with the certainty of death ahead,
But in The Spirit, Christ came to me, giving me new life Eternally.

I lived all of my days at a loss, in the shadow of Calvary’s Cross,
But then Christ pierced that night, with The Blessed Gospel Light.
On the cross, through His pain, I received from God eternal gain,
And now this life, I live for Him, The Lord who died for all my sin.

I no longer strive in emptiness, but live in Christ’s Righteousness,
A righteousness bestowed on me, from on that cross of Calvary.
A gift of God’s Awesome Grace, when His Son died in my place,
When this gift to me He did impart, He came to dwell in my heart.

Now I don’t live just to survive, but through The Lord I truly thrive,
Living for God an abundant life, through my Savior Jesus Christ.
With The Holy Spirit’s Power, Christ helps me every waking hour,
To live a special life for God, while on this mundane earthly sod.

My life doesn’t end down here, as the end of all is drawing near,
For I will be in a mansion sublime, to continue on for all of time,
And the life I’ve lived on earth, won’t compare to heaven’s worth,
Where we will live in perfect unity, with our Savior for all Eternity.

Jesus Christ, the King of Kings

Jesus Christ, the King of Kings!
His wise Word, in ears most rings;
And His praise, each church choir sings;
His one birth for earth, joy brings!

Jesus Christ, true God, true man,
Was but born with short life-span;
His great feat, repeat none can;
Seeing Him, all devils ran!

He started Christianity!
He came from eternity,
For sinners, and show pity;
He lives in heaven’s city.

His realm is not of this earth;
Prophets did forecast his birth;
Repentance can bring men mirth;
Pray to Him and get the worth!

Jesus Christ is creator;
He is Lord and protector;
His angels, men monitor;
For God’s grace, say, ’Confiteor’!
Jesus comes a second time;
He is God in every clime!
His wisdom stands for all time;
His great works are sung in rhyme!

Crucified, in pain, He lay;
He died but rose on third day!
He loved souls, scriptures say;
He’s the Truth, the Light and Way!

A Child's Prayer to Jesus Lord

Jesus, come and make me well;
I am praying day and night;
You are truth and way and light;
Grant me heaven and not hell!

Jesus, heal my ailments all;
You can work miracles fast;
Ignore all my sins of past;
Help me listen to your call!

Jesus, take my grief and woes;
Life on earth is sorrowful;
Faith can make it beautiful;
Put my life back on due course!

Jesus, Lord and King of kings;
Savior of the human race;
God with thousand suns as face;
You provide my needed things!

Jesus, help me love you, God;
You can forgive me my sins;
Make my failures become wins;
Spare me from your fair, just rod!

Jesus, God one incarnate;
Born of Mary, virgin queen;
Make my soul-desert turn green;
Holy God, immaculate!

Jesus, Christ, Creator God;
Fill my empty life with joys;
Help me carry my life's cross;
God of love, you are my Lord!

Jesus, fill my soul with grace;
Free me from all temptations;
Help me pray for souls, nations;
Fix on heaven, my soul's gaze!

The Hero

Dont you like to see the hero take his licks like a man
Stand up and be tested and be true ?
Would you like to be a hero in your life ? well you can
Did you know its up to you ?
Would you trade your place with jesus on the cross if you could
Shining through eternity ?
Would it bother you to know that you can be just as good
As you really want to be ?
And if youre bound to do your duty then its time that you do
Look your future in the face
For the most important person in the world, which is you,
Or the whole damn human race
Chorus:
Theres a holy band of angels flying high through the night
Where no mortal ever trod
Singing holy, holy, holy, holy, oh, jesus christ
Is the lord almighty god
You see, the good thing is you dont have to be as good as jesus to
Start out with
All you gotta do ask yourself, how would gary cooper have done it
Or john kennedy
Or martin luther king
Or malcom x ?
Chorus:
Theres a holy band of angels flying high through the night
Where no mortal ever trod
Singing holy, holy, holy, holy, oh, jesus christ
Is the lord almighty god
