I broke the bread with You today
I broke the bread with You today
and was at a loss at what to say.
For You had born all of my disgrace
when You hung on the cross in my place.
I drank the wine with You today
and was at a loss at what to say.
For Your blood had been poured out for me
when You gave your life at Calvary.
For You poured out Your life in death
Saving my soul with Your final breath
Cried out aloud 'Father Forgive'
And gave your life that I might live.

Today... 'Bread
Manna of Heaven coming from God
walked with us and earths pathways trod.
Come let's taste and see that the Lord is good
and not just settle for plain earthly food
There is Bread that God to mankind did give
So that we might all eat of it and live.
The Body of Christ is that Bread given
The Bread of Life that came down from heaven.
This Bread was stricken and smitten of God
when up the hill of Calvary He trod.
He was wounded and broken there for me
bore the price of sin that I might go free.
I've been to communion with You Lord
Broke the Bread in accordance with Your Word.
No bread of earth tasted so sweet and fair
as the bread I broke supping with You there
Such a feast was set by God before men
sweet Bread and wine laid upon the table then.
Bread broken for iniquities of mine
and into the cup poured the blood red wine
As I broke the bread Lord, I heard You say
'This is my body broken for you that day.'
Then I closed my eyes and I saw You Lord
hanging for me upon the cross of wood.
I heard You cry in pain and agony
Shout 'My God why have you forsaken me.'
Then 'Father forgive them ', I heard You say
for those that drove the nails in deep that day.
Your body bearing the sins of mankind
was wounded for these transgressions of mine.
Bowing Your head becoming Broken Bread
as You bore the wrath of God in my stead.
Broken for me was that Heavenly Bread
for my sins You suffered and You bled.
Wondrous love has been shown my God to me
for I'm saved by Your death at Calvary.
Praise God for the Bread that came from Heaven.
Praise God for the life that He has given.
Grace and mercy He lavished upon me
when the Bread was broken upon that tree.

Today... 'Living Bread
The Living Bread came from heaven
down upon earth to dwell
That we might eat of Him and live
and thus be saved from hell.
To taste and see that the Lord was good
I went to Calvary.
Saw Jesus on that cross of wood
broken there for me.
Your body was broken
and Your blood poured
I was forgiven
Thank You Lord.

In Your banqueting house I stayed
on the table I could see
The Bread and the wine had been laid
Speaking such love to me
Bread was broken
the wine was poured
I stand forgiven
Thank You Lord

You breathed Your last breath for me
'Heavenly Father, not My will, but Yours, ' You cried
then went to the hill of Golgotha where You died.
There upon Calvary's cross You breathed Your last breath
even though You had power over hell and death.
The angels were not able to understand why
the Immortal God had to bow His head and die.
For they were unaware of the eternal plan
that the Triune God agreed before time began.
In that great counsel You said, 'Here I am Send me.'
Willing You were, to hang upon that awful tree.
Willing, to carry my sins in Your body there.
Willing in my place the full wrath of God to bear.
Because of You, Lord Jesus I can now go free.
Because You have laid down your life at Calvary.
Because You hung on that cruel cross in my stead.
Because Your precious blood for me has been shed.

Now I know that when the time comes for my last breath
that my life will not just end in my earthly death.
There in the shadow of death You will lead me through
to spend an eternity in heaven with You.
Praise The Cross Of Jesus
Today I praise the cross of Jesus, where He died and bled for me.
For on that very cross of Jesus, His bloody death has set me free.
Christ came to die for all of us, upon that bloody cross of Calvary.
And upon Him I place my trust, from this day through all Eternity.
It was upon the cross of Christ, that He came to die so I could live.
Christ came to offer to us His life, the gift His Father chose to give.
Jesus came to be our sacrifice, so that all our sins God will forgive.
It is through the blood of Jesus Christ, that I can now eternally live.
Nothing was done on my part, but to accept Christ and to believe.
Christ even moved upon my heart, with The Spirit that I received.
New Life in me He would start, the life The Spirit would conceive.
And for me, a message to impart, for New Life you must believe.
You must believe in Jesus Christ, who came to save you and me.
He sent The Spirit into this strife, to give us eyes so we could see,
That Jesus came to give men life, so that they could live eternally.
This life is found in Jesus Christ, and is from the blood of Calvary.
Friend, there is only but one name, that men can lift up and raise,
For no common man can claim, any credit and seek men’s praise.
No man’s glory and or fame, can compare to The Ancient of Days.
And Jesus Christ is the only name, that by all men will be praised.
Wicked
Born wicked, but covered in blood, from the saving fountain above,
A fountain that flows from Calvary, to save a wicked sinner like me;
Born separated, right from my birth, as a lost sinner upon this earth,
Separated from God up above, who reached down with saving love.
God sent to us a cleansing flood, through His Son’s precious blood,
A flood which covered all the earth, affording all men a spiritual birth,
To every soul, within every nation, God offers in Christ His Salvation,
And to every sinner God offers life, through The Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dark and wicked down to my heart, but, God gave to me a new start,
Bringing me to Calvary’s Cross, He began to purge my wicked dross,
My Lord as Savior I came to know, said He’d make me white as snow,
As red as scarlet, my sin may be, I’m washed in The Blood of Calvary.
Dead in sin, I was spiritually lost, But, The Lord God, paid all the cost,
For all my sin and its punishment, through His Only Son, He had sent,
When on God’s Son my sin was laid, full payment for my sin He paid,
The Son bore all my wickedness, and gave to me, His Righteousness.
Though wicked and vile to the core, when on the cross my sin He bore,
God’s forgiveness was sent my way, and I stand in Jesus Christ today,
Now when God looks down on me, it is the Blood of Christ He will see,
The Blood which truly sets me apart, now that Christ dwells in my heart.

All Through Him
Through what we call natural birth, we’re born onto a sinful earth,
And whatever land we’re born in, we are a child that’s born in sin,
Born separated from God above, who reached out with His love,
Providing redemption for all men, so that we can be Born Again.
Through the Cross God forgives, because of His Son, who lives,
We’re redeemed from all iniquity, all through the cross in Calvary,
Granting men hope and peace, that when received will not cease,
Forgiven through the act of Christ, who for sinners paid the price.
Through the Resurrection is life, for us, in The Lord, Jesus Christ,
As the grave could not hold Him, we gain a New Life, free of sin,
A New Life to live abundantly, leaving sin at the cross of Calvary,
As we live to serve The Risen King, and His Praises we now sing.
Through our Savior Jesus Christ, we become heirs of Eternal Life,
Life in Heaven, with God is in store, for all believers, forevermore,
And we too, shall all be changed, in ways that only God arranged,
While Christ has prepared a place, for believers through His grace.
Today the choice belongs to men, in a world which is condemned,
To continue in their sin or be free, through God’s Lamb of Calvary,
Also, Eternal Life or eternal death, when they take their last breath,
Life with God, it stands to reason, why ignore this special season?

The Banshee's Wail
Today, I listened to the banshee's wail
Some believe that to be an old wives' tale
Today, I heard the ringing of the death knell
Dry your tears and say your fond farewell
Today, I grew weak and expired
Another soul, the Grim Reaper acquired
Today, I drew my last breath and died
Burying your face in your hands, you cried
Today, I quietly passed away
Leaving something I failed to say
Today, I met my untimely demise
We didn't get to say our final goodbyes
Today, I silently gave up the ghost
No longer tied to life's whipping post
Today, I came to my life's end
It's a tough thing to comprehend
Today, I went to the hereafter
Think of me only with laughter
Today, I died due to the fall of man
The good Lord has a master plan
Today, I was committed to my simple grave
Rejoice, oh rejoice! Only Jesus can save

That Old Rugged Cross
That cross so simple in design, spans throughout all of time.
As simple as that cross may be, it reaches well into eternity.
A wooden beam upon a tree, lifted high on Mount Calvary.
For all the saints of the past, it capped a hope that will last.
As that hope they waited for, was fulfilled through our Lord.
For the saints of latter years, it would conquer all our fears,
As death was swallowed in victory, on that cross at Calvary.
Today the cross of Jesus Christ, can grant victory to any life.
From that single horrific place, God began this age of Grace.
While many were dismayed, the Love of God was displayed.
By God, Christ was shunned, as wrath was sent on His Son.
Wrath meant for you and me, which was poured at Calvary.
God’s own Son bearing disgrace; a sinless lamb in our place.
In agony Christ was seized, until God’s anger was appeased,
As Christ paid the ultimate price, becoming for all a sacrifice.
He died and bled on the cross, washing away our sinful dross.
The sinless man bearing the cost, to bring to God, sinners lost.
And all who come to Jesus Christ, by the cross gain New Life,
As that bloody cross of Calvary, leads all men towards Eternity.
That rugged, yet simple design, has truly stood the test of time.

You Chose The Cross
'Father, not My will, but Yours', You said
and chose on the cross Your blood to shed.
To bear the pain and wear my shame
even though You were not to blame.
Lash by lash the price You paid
as my sins upon You were laid.
'It is finished', was Your cry
and for my life You chose to die
Waves of mercy flowed from the cross
Your blood was poured, my soul to wash
Gone as far as the East is from the West
My sins are forgiven and I am so blessed.
Because of You, Lord Jesus I go free
Because You died for me at Calvary
Because You hung there in my stead
Because Your precious blood was shed
As The Red Wine Into The Cup Is Poured
Christ the Lamb upon the alter stone.
Christ the sacrifice to atone.
Christ's blood, the wines a token.
Christ the bread that was broken.
As the grape was crushed to make the wine
so Christ was crushed for sins of mine.
As the red wine into the cup was poured
so Christ for me His blood outpoured.
As the bread was broken that we share
so Christ was broken upon the cross there.
'Father forgive, ' I hear Him cry
so I could live He was willing to die.

More Than Just Life
I’m truly alive this very day, through The Truth, The Life and Way,
For today I’m alive in Jesus Christ, the Author of my Eternal Life.
I was alive but spiritually dead, with the certainty of death ahead,
But in The Spirit, Christ came to me, giving me new life Eternally.
I lived all of my days at a loss, in the shadow of Calvary’s Cross,
But then Christ pierced that night, with The Blessed Gospel Light.
On the cross, through His pain, I received from God eternal gain,
And now this life, I live for Him, The Lord who died for all my sin.
I no longer strive in emptiness, but live in Christ’s Righteousness,
A righteousness bestowed on me, from on that cross of Calvary.
A gift of God’s Awesome Grace, when His Son died in my place,
When this gift to me He did impart, He came to dwell in my heart.
Now I don’t live just to survive, but through The Lord I truly thrive,
Living for God an abundant life, through my Savior Jesus Christ.
With The Holy Spirit’s Power, Christ helps me every waking hour,
To live a special life for God, while on this mundane earthly sod.
My life doesn’t end down here, as the end of all is drawing near,
For I will be in a mansion sublime, to continue on for all of time,
And the life I’ve lived on earth, won’t compare to heaven’s worth,
Where we will live in perfect unity, with our Savior for all Eternity.
Do You Know the Son?
Do you know the Son, the one the Father gave?
Do you know the Son, who can save you from the grave?
The one who's got the crown from the Father up above?
The Word becoming flesh, to show the Father's love?
The Logos who came to Earth and was born but not by man
But by the Holy Spirit sent down by God's own hand.
The Son born in Bethlehem of Judea on that night;
The Son who is the one, whom in John is called the Light.
Yes, He's called the Light, and that's very true
For He came to light the way for men like me and you.
He is also called the Word, and if you did not know
He is the One who made all things so very long ago.
His name is Yeshua, the Christ, and now I'm telling you
Just what it was that God sent Him into the world to do.
God sent His Son to tell us about ourselves you see -
And how that if we did not change, we would end in misery.
He also showed us how to live and to make it ample;
He lived a life without sin; what a great example.
Now Yeshua is the Son of God and on this Earth he dwelt
'til the age of thirty three and, then the pain He felt.
Men on earth did not care about what He had to say;
All they thought of was themselves, so carted Him away.
And on the hill called Calvary, to a stake these men had made
They nailed my Saviour Yeshua the messuah, and there my debt He paid.
And as the blood poured forth from His hands, feet and side
If I then had been there like now I would have cried;
'cause of something else He had also come to say
Which was this that 'By His death He would take my sin away'
So, if you would believe that Yeshua died for you
Then you will also know your sins are forgiven too;
Do you know the Son, the one the Father gave?
The One called Yeshua, the Messiah, who died for you to save?
1 John 5: 20
It is to be noted that the Lord is not the eternal Son of God, but the Son of the eternal God; for there was no Son until he was born of Miriam, and born again at his resurrection, where it was declared to him by his Father, 'You are my Son, this day have I begotten you' this 'begotten' is reference to his resurrection, for he is the 'FIRSTBORN of many brethern' and 'we' at his coming. For we have been born again unto a living hope, that living hope is our LORD YESHUA/JESUS; for as he was raised to life. So too shall we be so raised if we press forward to the prize of the upward call in Messiah Yeshua our Lord, amen.

You Chose To Climb The Hill And Not Turn Back
'Father, not My will, but Yours be done, ' You said
then climbed the hill to the cross Your blood to shed.
There You chose to bear my pain and wear my shame
even though You were innocent and not to blame.
A load much heavier than the cross You bore
piercing deeper than the crown of thorns You wore.
You were smitten of God and forsaken too
when my sin came between the Father and You.
There lash by lash the price for each sin You paid
as all my guilt and shame upon You was laid.
Then 'It is finished, ' in victory You cried
as You bowed Your head upon that cross and died.
Deep waves of love and mercy flowed from the cross
as Your blood was poured out all my sins to wash.
They're gone as far as the East is from the West
and I'm now forgiven and so very blessed.
Because You hung there on the cross in my stead.
Because Your blood was upon the altar shed.
Because of You, Lord Jesus I can go free.
Because You chose the road to Calvary.
No one cared
No one cared, they just walked on by
and left me all alone to die.
Then looking up I saw You there
Your arms outstretched in loving care.
You saved me from that place of death
settled my debts with Your last breath.
Poured out Yourself and paid the price.
Laid down Your life in sacrifice.
*************
No one cared, they just walked on by
and left You on that cross to die.
'Father forgive' You cried out loud
as there in death Your head was bowed.
I came and saw You hanging there.
My heart was stirred and began to care.
I knew why You were crucified.
‘Twas for my sins You'd bled and died.

Today... 'Eternal Life
Eternal Life. Death has no hold on You
for a sinless life You lived Faithful and True.
When time shall cease and worlds no longer be
You shall live on throughout eternity.
This Life has appeared and was seen by men.
The Son of God has come and has given
understanding to know the One Who is true
for He Who was with the Father is You.
I have been to Your cross and seen You there
and cried out to You in my great despair.
'Forgive me Lord, I don't know what to do, '
you heard me cry as I confessed to You.
'It is finished, ' You cried upon the tree
as Your earthly life You gave up for me.
You exchanged my life for an endless one
and Eternal Life in me has begun.
Reaching out to me in great love You bear
my awful sins upon Your shoulders there.
Such healing I received at Calvary
and there Eternal Life began for me.
Death has been swallowed up in victory
no longer the grave has a hold on me.
Though once hell held captive and domineered
no longer its portals are to be feared.
No more shall life be three score years and ten
or limits placed upon the years of men.
For Christ came to this earth that blesséd day
and died to take the sting of death away.
Oh how can I thank You for Your mercy.
Nobody else has shown such love to me.
Please help me Lord her on this earth to show
by my life the debt of love that I owe.

He Did Provide
The day before my dad had died
The day before I cried and cried
He said to me with both honor and pride
What in life He had promised, He did provide,
He kept his word from what he had said
He gave us our clothes and bought our bread
Dad sent us to school so we were well read
And he made sure that we were clothed and fed,
My dad never borrowed, begged or stole
My dad taught us to never to forget our goal
As we live our life our life becomes our role
And we'd be remembered by our deeds and our soul,
My father told me the truth he never lied
My father was always there at my side
He gave me my confidence he was my guide
And what he had promised, he did provide.

Today... 'Fragrant Offering
On the hill a Fragrant Offering stood.
The Son of God hung on a piece of wood.
The Earth grew dark and the sun hid its light
as men stood gazing at the gruesome sight.
It was in love for us that He had died.
when 'Father forgive them, ' out loud He cried.
Lowered His head and submitted to death
and gave up His life with His final breath.
A Fragrant Offering and sacrifice.
Out of love for us He has paid sins price.
Shed His blood that we might be forgiven
and opened the gateway into heaven.

Here I am - send me
There before the beginning, 'Send me', You said
choosing to go the cross and die in my stead.
There in the garden great drops of blood you sweat
so determined to follow the pathway set.
'Father, not My will but Yours be done' You said.
Knowing all things before You still went ahead.
Carrying Your cross up Golgotha's hill You went
and there as a sacrifice Your life was spent.
For You climbed that steep hill to die in my stead.
On the cross of Calvary Your blood was shed.
Whilst hanging on that tree You took all the blame
and paid the penalty for my sinful shame.
'My God, why have You forsaken me', You cried
and then You laid down Your life for me and died.
It was for my transgressions that You hung there
and upon Your body my punishment bear.
Willingly You bore my sin and paid the price.
Willingly You gave Your life in sacrifice.
Willingly taking my infirmities
Willing bearing my iniquities.
