Today... 'Father of mercies

God's great mercies are eternal
and extends to all those who call
upon His name and magnify
The Father of Mercies on high.

This Father of mercy and love
dwelling in the heavens above
came amongst us by virgin birth
born in a stable here on earth.

The redemption of sinful man
was part of His wonderful plan
when He died and then rose again
to show mercy to sinful man.

Today... 'The Firstborn

A glorious crescendo in the heavens rang
when at Your birth the mighty angelic host sang.
Glory to God in the highest and peace to men
for God's Firstborn Son had come to earth from heaven.

The most exalted of all the kings of the earth.
is the Son of God born to us by virgin birth.
Eternally Begotten of His Father God
had become a man and along earths pathways trod

All the angels who worshipped him looked down in awe
unable to comprehend the sight they now saw.
Never before had they seen this view from heaven
God, the Firstborn was walking on earth amongst men.

The Only Reason For The Season

The Lord and Savior, The Great I AM, came to earth as a gentle Lamb.
Born a tiny baby in a cattle stall, born to be King and The Savior of all.
Isaiah said He’d be born of a virgin, brought into the world with no sin.
God’s sinless Son came to earth, came to offer sinful man a New Birth.

This was God’s predetermined plan, sending Christ to earth as a man.
Christ came to offer every nation, Eternal Life through God’s Salvation.
For it was God’s Only Begotten Son; who was by God the chosen One.
Chosen to be God’s Only Way, to save sinful men who’ve gone astray.

The One, who was but a prophecy, was born that day for all men to see.
Many of the prophets from Israel, had their prophecies in Christ fulfilled.
But ultimately for both you and I, The Sinless Lamb would have to die.
That little baby born in a stall, would soon die a wicked death for us all.

The Sinless Lamb from heaven above, sent to us by The Father’s Love.
Micah prophesied that in Bethlehem, would come The Savior of all men.
The city of Bethlehem, it is said, is known by all as The House of Bread.
What a place for the birth of Christ, who my friend, is The Bread of Life.

This season let your heart pause, when you hear the name Santa Claus.
As the real gift for both you and me, was not under, but nailed on a tree.
And the True Giver is our Creator, and the Gift was our Lord and Savior.
So Jesus Christ is the only reason, why men even celebrate the season.

Psalm 136 Abridged

God's wonders of creation, providence, redemption, and salvation.

Give to our God immortal praise;
Mercy and truth are all his ways:
Wonders of grace to God belong,
Repeat his mercies in your song.

Give to the Lord of lords renown,
The King of kings with glory crown:
His mercies ever shall endure,
When lords and kings are known no more.

He built the earth, he spread the sky,
And fixed the starry lights on high:
Wonders of grace to God belong,
Repeat his mercies in your song.

He fills the sun with morning light;
He bids the moon direct the night:
His mercies ever shall endure,
When suns and moons shall shine no more.

The Jews he freed from Pharaoh's hand,
And brought them to the promised land
Wonders of grace to God belong,
Repeat his mercies in your song.

He saw the Gentiles dead in sin,
And felt his pity work within
His mercies ever shall endure,
When death and sin shall reign no more.

He sent his Son with power to save
From guilt, and darkness, and the grave
Wonders of grace to God belong,
Repeat his mercies in your song.

Through this vain world he guides our feet,
And leads us to his heav'nly seat
His mercies ever shall endure,
When this vain world shall be no more.

Today... 'Eternal Life

Eternal Life. Death has no hold on You
for a sinless life You lived Faithful and True.
When time shall cease and worlds no longer be
You shall live on throughout eternity.

This Life has appeared and was seen by men.
The Son of God has come and has given
understanding to know the One Who is true
for He Who was with the Father is You.

I have been to Your cross and seen You there
and cried out to You in my great despair.
'Forgive me Lord, I don't know what to do, '
you heard me cry as I confessed to You.

'It is finished, ' You cried upon the tree
as Your earthly life You gave up for me.
You exchanged my life for an endless one
and Eternal Life in me has begun.

Reaching out to me in great love You bear
my awful sins upon Your shoulders there.
Such healing I received at Calvary
and there Eternal Life began for me.

Death has been swallowed up in victory
no longer the grave has a hold on me.
Though once hell held captive and domineered
no longer its portals are to be feared.

No more shall life be three score years and ten
or limits placed upon the years of men.
For Christ came to this earth that blesséd day
and died to take the sting of death away.

Oh how can I thank You for Your mercy.
Nobody else has shown such love to me.
Please help me Lord her on this earth to show
by my life the debt of love that I owe.

As The Saints Enter In

Will the Saints go marching in, or humbly greet God, who died for sin?
Will they march in as if deserving, or enter humbled hearts for serving?
How will they enter God’s Gate above, open only, through God’s love?
The love and mercy poured on us, when by Grace we embraced Jesus.

All knowing we would return to dust, without that humble heart of Trust,
Knowing that we’d return to the earth, apart from Christ’s Spiritual Birth,
For it’s nothing that we have done, but all the work of God’s Only Son,
Christ’s finished work on the Cross, for we bring only, our sinful dross.

Undeserving, Grace allows us to see, it is not of us, but, God’s Mercy,
As Christ received all we deserve, when His Father, He chose to serve,
Becoming for us God’s Sacrifice, so that we could enter into Paradise,
The finished work, of Christ alone, makes way for us to be God’s Own.

What God did, truly humbles men, when in Christ, they are Born Again,
Through God’s Spirit from above, men are humbled by Amazing Love,
And through faith, alone in Christ, by God, we are granted Eternal Life,
Beginning with New Life we receive, when God’s Truth, we truly believe.

It truly is the Lord’s Gift of Grace, that we shall enter God’s Holy Place,
As men born in sin, with feet of clay, only God could provide The Way,
So it is God Who will be Glorified, as all the Saints humbly step inside,
The Holy, Dwelling Place of The Lord, to serve with Christ forevermore.

Today... 'The Eternal Spirit

There's no need for ceremonial sacrifice
now that we have been cleansed by the blood of Christ.
For where the blood of bulls and goats could not atone
we've been saved by the precious Blood of Christ alone.

When Jesus through the Eternal Spirit offered
Himself a sacrifice to God as He suffered
entering that Holy Place standing before God
obtaining eternal redemption by His blood

Suffering the shame and ignominy of the cross
To remove forever all of our sinful dross
Our Great Prophet and High Priest cleansed us with His blood
so that we can now live to serve the living God

and now step by step we can trace God's plan.
For His human ancestry can be seen
through the lives of those that have walked this scene.

The genealogy of the Messiah
we trace from Abraham through to Josiah
On throughout each ancestors life and death
until we come to the man called Joseph.

By The Spirit conceived, The Promised One
Jesus Christ, God's Only Belovèd Son
brought God's wondrous Grace and Truth to the earth
when born in a stable by virgin birth.

Easter Day 2009

When Christ was born
One early morn,
And angels sang,
As loud bells rang;
Peace came to earth
Through this great birth,
And world had joy
By baby boy!

The Son of God
Was born a man
In virgin’s womb
In stable-room!
He grew up wise,
Without a vice,
And showed His ken
To men, women!

His Father’s word,
He spoke like sword;
And drove devils,
And fought evils!
Through parables,
On vales and hills,
He preached to all
To hear God’s call!

Upon the cross,
He died because
His Father said
And kept His head;
Third day, He rose
To keep His course,
And gave new hope,
And world a pope!

The risen Christ
Is King highest,
And welcomes souls
With divine roles;
On Easter day,
God shows the way
To heaven’s bliss,
Which none should miss!

Christmas,2009

The love of Father God for man
Came down from heaven, once again,
To show He would do all He can
To save man’s soul in sinful lane!

He sent His only Son called Christ
To be born of a virgin’s womb
Of lady known to be so chaste,
A thing that sealed satan’s end / doom!

The second Eve thus crushed the head
Of satan who put man in sin,
And saved him from a hopeless world,
With capability to win.

The fruit of Virgin Mary’s womb
Was Jesus Christ, who bore the cross
To redeem living, those in tomb,
And showed that He was clearly boss.

Thus, God was born upon the earth
In poverty and humblest way,
To give all mankind, Heaven’s mirth
And justice on Last Judgment Day.

God’s love was born on Christmas Day;
There was no room in any inn;
The baby King just slept on hay –
A sign of love for man within.

Oh, what a lovely God’s own Son!
Oh, what a way to save mankind!
The work of Redemption began –
A fact of mystery, we all find.

Oh, baby Jesus, You brought peace
Into a world of sinful curse,
And hope to man to live with ease,
And reach God’s abode, heaven’s bliss.

The world was filled with intense joy
When born was Jesus, baby boy,
To be the Truth, Way and the Light,
And make man’s future always bright.

Oh, thank You God for Your great love;
To hope renewed, mankind will bow;
When sinners change, there’s joy above
Man freed from sin can live on now!

‘Thus, God was born,
A man, one morn;
Through Christ, His Son,
Hope was reborn! ’

Today... 'The Forerunner

Long before the first aeons of time began
the triune God agreed Salvations great plan.
'Who is it that will go to provide the way? '
'Here I am, send me', the angels heard You say.

Then into this scene you came by virgin birth
to begin the days of Your life here on earth.
Satan wanted You to take another way
But on Calvary's path You wanted to stay

There 'Father forgive them' in anguish You cried
as You bowed Your head in sacrifice and died.
Then through deaths dark sepulchre You descended
until Your sacrificial work has ended.

Three days and nights in death You were to remain
and then You burst through its gates alive again.
For then You began Your glorious ascent
as up into heaven in the clouds You went.

The heavens resounded with tremendous praise
as You approached to the Ancient of Days.
There You were given an eternal kingdom
of people from every tribe and tongue.

Through the Holiest of Places You have gone
to prepare the way for us to follow on.
Secure in You we know that heaven 's our goal.
Having such a hope as this anchors the soul.

The gateway to heaven has been opened wide
and we can now follow our Forerunner inside.
The great Herald of the heavenly kingdom
The long promised One prophesied to come.

Today... 'Friend of publicans and sinners

The Son of Man came here eating and drinking
'He is a glutton' all the priests were thinking.
But wisdom by all her children is proved right
truth's revealed only to those who've seen the light.

This Jesus in His mercy befriended me
and died to make me part of His family.
No glutton or drunkard is this Friend of mine
but head of the table at which I will dine.

Behold what luxurious food loads the board
When at His heavenly table sits the Lord.
The wine is so rich and the bread how so sweet
when Jesus invites sinners with Him to eat.

Where would I be if Jesus was not my Friend?
I dread to think how my sinful life would end.
Standing alone before God's white Judgement Throne.
No Intercessor to help and on my own.

For those who the world ignores and dismisses
the Son of Man showers with love and kisses.
Seeking sinners and tax collectors to save
He endured the cross and rose up from the grave.

Today... 'Angel of God's Presence

Angels are servants the bidding of God they do
But the fullness of the Godhead was dwelling in You
The very Presence of God came to us on earth
when You entered into this would through virgin birth.

This poor man cried out to You from the miry clay
You heard my voice and came to rescue me that day.
Saved me from of the mire and wretchedness of sin
took away all my transgressions and washed me clean.

The Angel of God's Presence willingly came down
To save a wretch like me and wear that thorny crown.
You became smitten by all of my afflictions
and upon cross paid the price of my transgressions.

By Your great mercy You have redeemed back my soul.
Angel of God's Presence Your death has made me whole.
Now I can stand on holy ground redeemed by God.
For that Angel was none other than Christ my Lord.

Today... 'Abba

'Abba, Father', Jesus said, 'Take this cup from me'
whilst praying in the garden of Gethsemane.
'I know that all things are possible for You
and that there is nothing that You cannot do.'

'Yet not what I will but what You will, ' He said
as in deep anguish great drops of blood He bled.
Then He went on to complete salvations plan
agreed by the Godhead before time began.

'Abba, Father, ' like Jesus we too can cry
as we pour out our soul to the Lord on high.
For the sons and daughters of our God are we
and never more in slavery shall we be.

The Spirit of Christ is dwelling in our heart
and causes all the fear and dread to depart.
For our Lord Jesus drained the bitter cup dry
when He bowed His head upon the cross to die.

Abba Father, the Spirit has testified
that I am the child for whom He has died.
An heir of God and co-heir with Jesus Christ
sharing in His suffering and sacrifice.

No more an orphan for the Father I know
I'm in His family where life's riches flow.
Led by the Spirit I gaze into His face
as God's love floods into my soul by His grace.

We are sons and daughters of the living God
and we walk the same pathway that Jesus trod.
All saved by His grace and purchased with His blood
and trusting in the promises of our God.

The Story of Our Savior

The story of our Savior from above, begins with the Father’s Love,
Who sent His only Eternal Son, to become the Savior of everyone.
God sent Him to a world condemned, in the likeness of sinful men,
However, Christ was a sinless man, sent to be God’s perfect Lamb.

Although Christ was born on earth; He lived before that virgin birth,
He’s the Alpha and Omega, friend, and the Beginning and the End.
Christ formed this earth as Creator, then came down as our Savior,
So a body God prepared for Him, and He would die for all our sin.

Coming as that baby so small, yet, He was Lord and King over all,
King over Israel and every nation, sent with The Father’s Salvation.
Many Scriptures, God would fulfill, with Christ, as King over Israel,
To the Gentiles, He’d be the Light, to guide them out of their night.

That little infant born in Bethlehem, would be the Savior of all men,
Coming to reign on David’s Throne, to reign as King over His own.
And being God’s last Revelation, to tiny Israel and to every nation,
With a message of hope to herald, of redemption for all the world.

The story shall end in Eternity, in a place prepared for you and me,
The same Eternity of the past; one of no beginning, to forever last,
As in the clouds we’ll join together, to be with Jesus Christ forever,
When we gather to continue a story, that shall continue on in Glory.

Today... 'Author of eternal salvation

The last eternal chapter has been written
telling of how The Lamb of God was smitten.
This great story of salvation I will tell
of the Saviour who has saved my soul from hell.

My song will echo throughout eternity
and I'll sing Your praise in the heavenly city.
Life everlasting to all those who obey
eternal salvation as we walk God's way.

Prayers and petitions are offered on high
by the Only Son who came to earth to die.
The Author of Eternal Salvation came
for it was to bear our sin and all its shame.

For the Author of Life died upon the cross
suffering such agonising shame and loss.
Then rising from the dead He ascended high
into the heavens and nevermore will die.

And my name in love He has recorded there
In the Book of Life kept safe in heavens care.
With His crimson blood each letter He has penned
Waiting for the day when the book is opened.

All of the redeemed gathered in safety there
‘n the glory together each will declare
they were saved from Gods great condemnation
By the Author of Eternal Salvation.

Today... 'God

God, Almighty and Invisible
came to earth becoming visible.
God, the Eternal and Immortal
condensed Himself to a mere mortal.

God, Omniscient and Only Wise
came to us dressed in our human guise.
God, Who is Incomprehensible
was born as a Babe in a stable.

God of the heavens and the Divine
took on a body like this of mine.
God, Powerful and Omnipotent
tabernacled in an earthly tent.

What great mystery of godliness
God, Jehovah manifest in flesh.
For the fullness of God I can see
in the Christ Who came and died for me.

'My Lord and my God', I cried aloud
when He moved aside His human shroud.
My eyes were opened and I could see
Jesus' Godhood and full Deity.

For the One Who is the Living Word
I've come to know as my God and Lord.
In Him the Godhead I have perceived
and stopped all my doubting and believed.

It Was God

It was the Lord God, who would give, His only Son for us to live,
So that men could live eternally, all through the cross of Calvary.
It was upon the cross, where Christ, as a man would give His life,
Freely given, for sinful man; the heart of God’s Redemptive Plan.

Christ was a man, yet was God, sent from Heaven to earth’s sod,
For a time, Christ left His Throne, to redeem a people of His own.
Just sinful people, desperately lost, would find Truth at the cross,
Eternal Truth, from God above, sent down to sinners by His Love.

It was God’s love that sent His Son, to be the Savior of everyone,
God, sent as a sinless man to die, for sinful people like you and I,
Christ, Eternal God and our Creator, sent to earth to be our Savior,
From Eternal Heaven for all of us, sinful men simply made of dust.

Sent from Heaven, down to earth, to offer all men a Spiritual Birth,
Prompted by a love He has for all, deceived in sin by Adam’s fall.
Only through Jesus Christ our Lord, can men, to God, be restored,
Restored, to a relationship with Him, as Christ saves men from sin.

It is Christ, who’s coming back again, to take Home believing men,
He’s coming back for all of us, who in The Son have put their trust,
Leaving again His Glorious Throne, to take us to our Eternal Home,
Where we shall live forevermore, with Jesus Christ, The Risen Lord.

O God, Show Mercy…

O GOD, SHOW MERCY…

O God Almighty, Our Father in Heaven,
Let go with the wind the foe’s threats;
Punish the unwise and the unworthy,
Let them hold their tongues behind the teeth.

O God Almighty, Our Father in Heaven,
Weaken the treacherous men…
They just pretend to be Thy servants,
For their own good, let them lament.

O God Almighty, Our Father in Heaven,
Show mercy to those who serve their land;
Without harming their own country,
Let them breed their descent…

O God Almighty, Our Father in Heaven,
Let us rise – wipe out the feud.
Show mercy, save us, heal our souls,
Let us defeat the fraud…

O God Almighty, Our Father in Heaven,
Let the foe’s threats go with the wind…

Shadow of The Cross

In the shadow of Christ’s cross, is every soul and sinner lost,
Every soul upon God’s earth, with sin tainting their own worth,
With His light put on all pride; the reason why Christ had died,
Carrying out His Father’s will, when lifted high on Calvary’s hill,
Lifted up for all men to see, was Christ the Lord of all Eternity.

He was nailed up to pay the cost, of all the sin of sinners lost,
Lifted high as God’s Sacrifice, to pay for man an eternal price,
From on that cross at Calvary, blood did flow for you and me,
Blood of the Spotless Lamb, to pay the penalty of sinful man,
Worthy to atone for all, but one; Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.

From that cross to the grave, for all of those God would save,
Through faith in God’s Son, the Savior who died for everyone,
Now lifted high for all of us, the One in whom today men trust,
Seated upon His Eternal Throne, interceding for all of His own,
Men who at the cross believed, from Him, eternal life received.

Now all whom God did save, enter into eternal life, not a grave,
Truly saved by God’s Sacrifice, to be with His Son in Paradise,
Freed from sin’s eternal penalty, through the love from Calvary,
Fully cleansed in Calvary’s tide; blood out of our Savior’s side,
Purged of all our sinful dross, while in the shadow of the cross.
