When love becomes a game
You are bound to see
Winners and losers
But how painful would be
If the one who gave it all
Turn out to be the loser
It is not fair
It is not right...
Life, like love itself
Is also like a game:
With its own set of rules
With its ups and downs
Happy moments and sorrows
And whatever comes along...
Sometimes you are weak
Sometimes you are strong....
In love like in life
There is time to smile

That love is part of life

What is now?
What brings today this day
That makes Yesterday the Past
And sorrows gone away?
The air of my own destiny
Beckons to follow the right path

A Vicious Cycle
Taking life and feeding death
a broken path, a fork in the road.
Screaming, beating, defeating,
not making any sense but still vital to life and death.
Whispering cruel thoughts, stealing breath
voicing once hidden intentions.
Taking life and feeding death.
Gentle heat, steadfast heart
killing death to take a chance on life every fourth.
Fighting, winning and losing,
not making any sense but still vital to life and death.
Encouraging and coaxing, giving life
pushing back the darkness until its turn to submit.

Head Over Heals
I have a very good friend
The kind of girl who likes to follow a trend
She has a personal style
Some people like it, others tend to go wild
You hear her voice everywhere
Taking the chair
She's a leading lady
And with no trace of hesitation she keeps going
Head over heels
Breaking her way
Pushing through unknown jungles every day
She's a girl with a taste for the world
(The world is like a playing-ground where she goes rushing)

Setting the pace
Running the gauntlet in a whirl of lace
She's extreme, if you know what I mean
Her man is one I admire
He's so courageous but he's constantly tired

His Dog Is His Best Friend
She loves and lives with another now his former wife
But his dog remains with him his true friend for life
And for as long as she lives his dog with him will stay
Just for a few pats and a feed every day.
Since dogs are ever faithful for that is their way
He knows that his dog him would never betray
When he comes home from work him she's happy to see
Your dog's love for you a true love would you not agree?
Of cruelty to animals we hear of and read
And the one cruel to animals is a cruel one indeed
And since your animal for cruelty unable to sue
The Karma you sow is what will be your due.

Why I don't know why even how?
How Lovers turn strangers

Summer Chance
The chances of summer are of chance,
When you take a chance,
Chances will bring,
The good,
The bad,
The indifference,
The outcome,
For taking a chance,
Is what is left,
Then is left to per chance,
Yet,
Summer time,
Brings all kinds of chances,
Summer romances,
Summer time ventures,
All in all it is a time,
For taking the time,
To just relax,
And simply just,
Let things happen,
Oh what it would be,
If, we all took a chance,
On love for love sake,
Leaving to per chance?
So summer songs,
Would ring with chimes,
When summer's love,
Would then last all year long,
What too could happen,
If,
We all took that chance,
Just to see,
What would happen,
To simply be,
A wild card,

A Poem of Hope
I can't possibly erase you from my past
But it has become a clear fact,
That you are absolutely absent
In my now optimistic present...
The door of my broken heart
Will be permanently closed for you, soon...
Only you can be blamed
For us being so apart.
I gave you my love without shame
But you cause the mortal wound
And cowardly run away,
Leaving me behind living in darker days...
Knowing that nothing lasts forever,
My heart's wound will be completely healed
And I will rise again, wise and clever
With a new heart, as strong as steel...
After learning this painful lesson,
I will forget my past and move on,
Escaping from this horror prison
And joyfully sing a new song

That Love
There was a love I used to know
in the long time ago.
A love that never left me
as years passed and I grew old.
Whenever we chance to meet
emotions would flow.
That love would be recharged
like it was in the long ago.
My love walks a different path
than the one that I follow,
but part of it still holds a flame
that will never let go.
Each step I take in each year that passes
that love will always follow
and I still feel its warmth
wherever I may travel.
