Dreams
To anyone who can dream
And then awaken,
Remembering the impossibility
Of what was only mirrored
In your mind,
During a given night,
Actually happened there...
Dreams arrive not from nowhere
But from somewhere else,
A strive vehicles of memory,
Transcribed within the space
Of a plaid network...
The puzzle of Faith, Hope,
Truth, Beauty, Love and Peace
Surrounding the Earth,
Claims of Spirit! ...
Dreams are tokens of reality,
Merely disheveled and suggested
In the fantastic unfolding
Of discarded old written notes,
Illegible but then revised
And re-arranged in such a way
That one day, perhaps,
Would impress the World
With his or her Love,
Art and Wisdom...

Paradise
I dream of a sleep beyond the flow of time,
Where the world cannot damage me anymore,
Where pain is but a black hole in the memory,
And the thorns of beauty tear at my flesh no more,
Left on the brink of a loveless immortality,
The nightingale weeps upon the beauty of the rose,
And a thousand petals shall scatter into the dirt,
But the darkness of night must surely come to an end,
And with the rising of another sun dreams shall fade,
Yet if I may fill all the gaps in love's broken dream,
With the beauty that lives both within and without,
Then I shall view an unfolding wilderness of paradise...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Listen!
Listen! there is peace
Setting in the wake of unrest
Which cost me the loss
Of all those dreams
That were in progress-
But they were drifting
Farther out to the sea
And each day,
I saw less of reality...
I abandoned the dreams
But I stayed afloat
While the waters of hope
Took no opposition to the rocking waves
And I learned the pleasure
Of letting go the struggle for control,
As result, I was free to move...
I thought I saw those dreams
Floating back to me once again,
As if to say they would leave their way
With or without me-
But they would still exist
Because I gave them substance
And life all their own...

Sea-dreams
Where the earth and sky collide
That's were sea-dreams are found
Sea-dreams become reality as sunrise
Grows glorious out of, aqua marine horizons
Our dream- that love is all we need
In our sea-dream moments looking beyond
Horizons we see our dreams come true, as we
Sway with loves promise in the daylight,
Holding each other, kissing each other
Sea-dreams are a reality that only mystic
Lovers know, dreams happen, and
When they do
We accept that love is
All we need, and
We few who embrace
The might and power of love
Live forever in our sea-dreams

Oh Christmas Night Oh Christmas Night
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
So quiet all and splendor
We celebrate Christ birth and might
With candle lights so tender
For on this night is born a king
The king of peace on earth
We glorify and humbly sing
About this child and holy birth
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
When night's around and dark
We find his love's a guiding light
And see his angels hark
We hope this time peace will bring
And guide our footsteps all
For he's the forth of everything
The protector of big and small
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
The spirits of love and greeting
When each love will burn on so bright
With kindness and good treating
We hope one day peace will arrive
For every life that's living
We must therefore still on strive
Remembering what Christmas is giving

Dancing on Starlight
The magnificent watchers
In the sky
Pure white
Like angels
Heavenly angels watching
As we gaze
As we wonder at the awesomeness
The vastness
We create
We create dreams
Love
Hope
Dreams of love
Love of hope
Hope that dreams come true
The benevolent orb
So bright
So serene
Guarding the watchers
The watchers that protect us
Our guardians
As we gaze
As we wonder at our guardians
Our protectors
We create
We create dreams
Love
Hope
Dreams of love
Love of hope
Hope that the dreams come true
If only we could dance
Dance upon the starlight
Dance among our keepers
This would surely be bliss
As we create
We create our dreams
Of love
And hope
Dreaming of love
Loving hope
Hoping that dreams come true
You create
You fill my dreams
With love
With hope
I dream of your love
Love the hope you give
And wish my dreams to reality

Mistaken Identity
Forgive me, I thought somebody cared,
I thought it was you
Or I would surely never dared
Reveal myself through
Who made you guardian of my days,
Master of each step?
The spirit will retaliates,
Becoming suppressed.
I thought it was you,
Wearing an angelical smile
And with sparkling eyes
Bewitching me with its magic.
As time slowly passed.
The truth was clearly revealed
When I saw the fake lover
Hiding behind the mask.
I thought it was you,
The one permanently fixed
In my heart and mind
And also in my dreams.
Disappointed now I am
But with faith and hope
I will eventually survive
And see a brighter light.
One sunny day
While the butterflies dance
And the birds happily sing,
I shall find you my angel,
The woman of my dream

Oh Were is My Africa
I dream the dream of dreams
Oh were is my Africa
Of noble past and ebony rule
Of golden sunsets and
Cluster night skies of bright stars
Of sculptured warriors
Dancing to the drums of night
Of sisters in garments of bright
Multicolor cloth
Singing songs to Shango
I dream the dream of dreams
Oh were is my Africa
Of the circle of the elders
Noble in stature
And reaping of wisdom
Sitting in harmony
With the ancestors
To provide guidance to the people
I dream the dream of dreams
Oh were is my Africa
Of afros, Swahili and dashikis
And greetings of my brother, my sister
Of jazz and blues, and afro rhythms
Of peace and harmony
Of pursuit of knowledge and truth
Of compassion and love
I dream the dream
I dream the dream of dreams
That my Africa
is nowhere but in my dreams

She Walks...
She walks in beauty in my Dreams
She dances across the shadows of my mind
As the moonlight beams
Upon two souls entwined
All through the day and into the night
She walks in beauty in my dreams
In my memory, I hold her tight
Safe in my arms, sheltered from the screams
In the shadows my mind does teem
My thoughts my dreams, she does invade
She walks in beauty in my dreams
Across my heart in an endless parade
Love cascading, exploding in a brilliant flare
Flowing like a mountain stream
Until I am left with my dreams and where
She walks in beauty in my dreams

Do Exactly
Of wisdom, knowledge and understanding;
Of peace, love and care;
Of power, beauty and kindness;
We have the spirit of truth and the spirit of error!
So do not be a lair to your friends.
Dance exactly as he danced and,
Do not follow that which is evil;
Learn exactly as he learnt and,
be very strong like the palm tree;
For this world is getting worse all the time.
Greedy dogs!
They lie to the people;
So do write out exactly as he wrote,
For the truth is always the truth.
Of a great plan,
Of a great puzzle,
It is getting worse all the time with the world;
So try to test every spirit.
I have not send them, yet they run;
I have not spoken to them, yet they speak;
But try to eat from the tree of life to gain wisdom always.
Life is like the potter's clay and,
You have to do exactly as they did;
But do go for the truth always.

Dreaming Reality
In the real world, as in dreams,
Nothing is quite as it seems.
To see what we have never seen,
To be what we have never been,
To shed the chrysalis, learn to fly,
Depart the earth, kiss the sky,
To be reborn, be someone new,
Is this a dream or is it true?
Is my life in fact a dream?
Are things not always as they seem?
Are daylight hours reality,
Or do I dream eternally?
In the dream world or the real,
We cannot know what we can't feel.
What is not a dream by day,
Comes to us at night to stay.
Dreams - vivid colors of life,
Or fleeting, obscure, murky strife?
Façade of reality brings,
To the mind, exquisite things:
Love, regret, memories, cheer,
Imagination, even fear.
The lives we live appear, it seems,
To be a dream within a dream.
A long dream of hopeless sorrow,
I'll dream my life again tomorrow.

My Spirit
I have often felt alone and foreign
Within this place or world everyone calls home-
Perhaps a part of me had died many years back- although
My spirit lives on and looks upward towards the sky, past midnight
Perhaps to awaken in some other realm- Alive and unafraid,
I see the stars brightly shining against the midnight sky,
Far away but close to me in a unique way-
The rings of Saturn intrigue me and inside of the world of my dreams,
I have become as a dove, lifting my wings
To fly as I continue my fight to
Find a place in this world, as my spirit attentively watches over me-
It has been said that everyone is born with a spirit inside-
I was born with a mind, confused, frightened and divided- although
I was born with a spirit that is strong, brave and wise-
I lift my wings and fly, following the direction my spirit, as
My spirit is my only hope- My hope to find a life for myself.
Free from the apparition of the nightmares of my past-
Inside of my mind I know that if I follow the direction that
My spirit takes- enlightened by the sun, the moon and the stars-
Perhaps in the fondest of dreams, I will reawaken and fly away from my fears, and
Find a place in this world-After all, the stars, the moon and other planets
Are far away, in another realm, and unreachable.
The beauty of a spirit is that it never dies, and as my friend it will always be there,
Watching over me protecting me from harm as
I awaken in rebirth from the horrors of my past and from a distance in thought
I can still follow the mystical beauty
Of the moon and the stars in the midnight sky above me
And I know now that when clouds cover the sky and darkness prevails-
The sun shall always rise, I have found peace of mind, and my spirit lives on…

Heavens Playground...
The night sky is sprinkled with the jewels of angels,
Magically they hang there for all eternity,
I gaze upon those bright beacons of shimmereing crystal,
I connect the dots across the fabric of space and time,
Through a silky black sequined sky to heavens playground,
A dream world where our souls can dance upon starlight,
In dreams we ride the celestial skies until the morning light,
For dawn shall arrive and pierce through the heart of night,
Bleeding soft sunlight onto our beautiful horizon,
With the birth of another day dreams fade to memory,
And we must realise our place in this wonderous plan,
We are what happens to this brand new day...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Existing As Ideals
Dreams need no corporeality, a
dream fulfilled becomes one-
dimensional reality without
power to draw desire and
passion through us
I love dreams as ideas, romance
as mirage, an image in the mind:
therein lies its power, a vision to
be filed for later use when it fails
to entice
Materialisation shrinks infinite
dimensions of enchanting
vision, I cherish dreams
until threadbare,
I love
Ethereal ideals as Quixotic
schemes fighting windmills:
idea reigns supreme, reality
is but weak reflection of
grand ideals
Lamenting impossibility of love
means we miss the joy of
illusion and dreams
inspirational only
if unexplained
We live life in little routines
while existing as ideals
within a holographic
universe…

A Dream Be Not
I dream a dream of dreams to be
oh do I dream of such a thing I dream of love peace happiness
but a dream can this be maybe the truth I do not see for this dream can really be reality with your hands joined
in mine that's how my dream can really be reality

Shall I ever let
Shall I ever let my fancy and dream to roam
To bring this rare pleasure and conjure it back home
At touch this pleasure and memory melts
Like bubbles of water when the rain pelts
Nature has withhold Catherine beauty across the wide skies
What an adornment for the human eyes for next thousands of years
She has taken their cream of beauty, fairest dyes
And shaped and tinted sweet Catherine above all peers
When I behold her on the earth descend
My heart begins to throb and to burn; only in pains
This is my fancy and dreams that melt and vanish; my sad life's end
Love has poured her slaying beauty into my veins

The Newborn Angel's Lullaby
Angel-born smile slipped away
To forever-sleep in grace,
Left behind a name to love
But what's in a name?
When farewell is too much to say
Through the tears fallen from the faces
Of those left to carry with only the memories…
Please sleep in peace
As your dream-bound voice still sings its melody
Unfit for tears, not for love, not for me...
Sweeter the dreams, bitter the sorrows,
At the dawn, awaken forlorn…
All the tears shed at the breaking of the dawn
Each for the memory of the loved ones now gone
They come to comfort me through the lonesome of the night
Until the day I join them beyond the light…
Please sleep in peace
As your dream-bound voice still sings its melody
Unfit for tears, not for love, not for me…
Sweeter the dreams, bitter the sorrow
At the dawn, awaken forlorn…
I still feel your love over the distance of our hearts
Let no ocean keep us apart
Let our love carry us together
Once upon a time, you were my world, my friend
Today, ever after, you're the stars in my sky
My angel…
My everything…

True love's kiss...
What is this hellish version of existance I see?
Have I stepped through the mirror cracks?
Into a warped version of reality beyond dreams.
have I become the mirror reflecting this nightmare?
Perhaps I am sane and reality is the splintered dream.
But if reality is merely a darkened dream.
How shall I ever awaken from this eternal sleep?
When only true love's kiss can stir my soul...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Can't you see it?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask for things we already have
Where is the love?
Where is our dreams?
Where is the peace?
Where is the promise?
Where is the faith?
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
Can't you see that it's everywhere?
Can't you see the happiness?
Can't you see the peacefulness?
Or are you too busy
with looking at the bad things
To see the good?
When you look at the bad things
That's all you get.
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I can see the love
I can see the dreams
I can see the promise
I can see the faith
I can see the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I feel the love
I feel the dream
I feel the promise
I feel the faith
I feel the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
If you don't see those things
I'll show you
It's not hard to show
Love
Be loved
Dream
Have dreams
Promise
Have promise
Faith
Have faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith

Dreams Make the World Go 'Round
'Hope is a waking dream.' Aristotle
Hope is a dream - a survival of our inner thoughts,
Love is a hope that opens up our hearts,
A smile in our face that makes the love go round,
Your word and mine - its meaning well defined.
A dream woven in earnest honesty
A resolute of hope that love awaits for thee,
For we'll survive in hope that dreams gone by
A bridge connects our distance way up high.
The dream we make - a light shines in our eyes,
Connections made a way back in our present lives,
To think of us in dreams of hope impart
A promise persevered in the nook of our faithful heart.
Though dreams let go of love for now to explore,
The dream of love way back still strong and so secure,
For dreams survive in hope for love's stronghold
The torch of hope - still a dream we do uphold.
Live on with dreams to make your world go round,
Lock away the hope of love for now 'till time is ripe,
Connect that bridge 'make hope a waking dream'
Hope to survive for love the second time again.

Shantelles Poem
Days come and go the sun sets to grace the night with its everlasting peace. The beauty of the earth graces the night only for the many people to spoil it. The unspoiled dreams of children running through the minds of others around. But has this world turned to the point of a simple thought? As I look around to see the shimmering beauty of this world begin to fade I turn to see a vision, a beautiful flower standing behind me. I see this beauty unspoiled by the world around and blooming as to be a dream. This beauty i wonder where it comes from as i melt at this divine beauty as to only feel unworthy to glimpse it i wounder where is this beauty and i remember this beauty is the person that is reading this gift the person who inspired this poem.
