Afraid Of Repercussions

Brake the rules
Part with tools
Matter need not be uniform
Things that should
Or should not occur
Can all be changed
From the other side of the door...

If I believe
What repercussion
Can bind me?
No penalty
Can steal from me-a wish
Once is written
In faith it can exist...

A Wish

Break the rules
Parts with tools,
Matter need not be uniform,
Things that should
Or should not occur
Can all be changed
From the other side
Of the invisible door...

If I can believe
What repercussions
Can really bind me,
No penalty can steal from me
Once a wish is written,
In faith it can exist...

And...still...i Love You...!

I did not expect to hear
A voice within the door
It seemed the place was empty
As off I have found before...

Had I known that keeping shut
A barrier between
Chasing off relationships
Myself be quieter seen...

I had no choice but to come
Return though things are changed
Cemented are my feelings
Not rudely rearranged.....
When I am still
Thinking about you...

My Preference

Modern proponents of free form.
Do not accept that poetry
has certain rules and must conform.
Or it becomes mere anarchy.

Anything goes just will not do.
It’s either poetry or prose.
One must give credit where it’s due
They both have merit I suppose.

Prose poetry cannot exist.
An oxymoron obviously
but modern writers will insist
that what they write is poetry.

They aren’t content to call it prose
well written and quite beautiful.
Care taken with the words they chose
describing something wonderful.

Although so many writers try.
There’s very few achieve their aim.
They do not stop to wonder why
But simply write more of the same.

Make no attempt to learn the rules
Meter and rhyme a mystery
they lack the simple basic tools
You need for writing poetry.

A poem is a message to
transmit your ideas and your thoughts.
So other folks can share them too.
If you can write them as you ought.

Simplicity and clarity
are prerequisites for our art.
The finest kinds of poetry
are written from the poets heart.

Mere strings of words in random lines
are neither prose nor poetry.
Each of us knows what he defines
as being his idea of poesy.

I rest my case I make no plea
I merely state my preference.
Applicable only to me
I do not wish to cause offence.

Inner Need

I had something strange happen to me.
Someone asked for a copy of my Easter sermon.
They said the words I spoke
made such of an impression on them.
They asked if they could have
a copy of it to keep.
Of course, I said it was no problem.

Sometimes we as writers
write things we cannot see,
that fill someone else’s world
with some inner need.
The words we write bring them something
we may have never thought about.

They bring some peace of mind
that they had been searching for.
They feel our words
are so relevant to them
that they have this need
to read those words
over and over again.

Afraid V.s. Knowing

i have two side,
but, don't we all?
one afraid to face challenge,
but, the other side know,
i'll will make it through,
even in the times,
life doesn't seem to matter,
i have a feeling i will be fine,
even when everything feels,
crazy and out of control,
a part of me still knows,
life gets hard,
but i have to fight through,
who else is going to do it for me?
i'm learning along the way,
that it's okay to be afraid,
of the things,
i can no longer control,
because in the end,
there's a reason,
for why things happen,
being afraid is an emotion,
i'm not use to,
it was the other part of myself,
i wasn't accepting,
but, now it's apart of me,
because it's who i am,
human like everybody else.

Naked Truth

Faces passing by
Wishing they had not seen me
Affectedly nodding
And smiling-worried
Mumbling conventional offerings
Of salutation...

I squirm trying
To break the discomfort,
Why do they pretend
I even exist,
If I cause such embarrassment?
Guilty misunderstanding? ...
Only time can tell...

A Love's Game

Once you were the moon
And I was the sun,
I was a gardener
And you a beautiful rose...
You were the diamond
And I was the ring...
Two bodies, one soul
Great moments we shared
And I still recall...
The time we spent together
Was not a waste of time at all...
For one reason or another,
Love became a game,
Strategies were not exchanged
Since it was just your game
You tried to drive me insane
But little did you know
Things drastically have changed
For, I am far from being the same...
Now, we are heading some where
But not on the same lane...

Take from me, take my pride....

One Who Closes His Eyes In Prayer

One who closes his eyes in prayer
Closes his eyes not to see
Not to see the other side
The dark side of the supplication
If it be a disgrace
In the eyes of the Court
Which will pass judgment
On you one day...

Intellectual Property

.

The copyright belongs to me.
Which I can prove quite easily
If you attempt to plagiarise.
You might well find to your surprise.
I will not hesitate to sue.
So think again before you do.
You will not get away scott free.
You cannot steal my property.
Such theft incurs a penalty
The Law provides a remedy
for those who claim dishonestly
that they have written it not me.
Are you prepared to pay the price
or wise enough to heed advice.

In The Name Of Love

A river of ice is melting
Deep down- I stir again
I am moved as a stone removed
From a frozen winter bed....

I have seen the light returning
Sparkles from the other side
Make a pavement out of crystal
Drops- to walk across-I would try...

Taking a step-precarious
My feet feel not the way
Yet-I think-If I were worthy...
I could become-as light- a ray...
And blur improbability
Calumny-all the rest
Would sink-except
Faith and our love
Believing-
Miracles possessed...

Totally Biased

I do not often write free form
to me it is not poetry.
Freely admit my prejudice
I think it’s just a passing phase
Although I can appreciate
poetic and well written prose
This does not make it poetry
When I consult my dictionary
it makes it very clear to me.
All writing must be one of those
It can’t be both at he same time.
Prose poetry cannot exist
an obvious oxymoron
Though modern writer still insist
that what they write is poetry
.It may be really beautiful
and well presented on the page
but definitely not poetry.
Why can they not be satisfied
with their well written thoughts in prose.
Why do they call it poetry
a dandelions not a rose.
Its meter defines poetry
it doesn’t even need to rhyme.
Even free verse had its rules
but writers seem to think today
There are no rules anything goes.
I nail my colours to the mast
Not afraid to let my bias show.

If Only Then I Knew

When the Lord came for me,
The whole world changed,
I don't think it was me,
Except that I believed...

And we laughed together
The Lord and me,
He took away fatigue
And rocked me to sleep...

No more loneliness
With so much to do,
The world became a playpen
And me, a little child...

It was sometimes in June,
Through He was there all the while,
When I was fighting to belong,
If only then I knew...

Observation

A candle burning is only wax,
Melting down to what it was
Before it entered a candle mold
Where do drips of substance go?

Air is thinner than sundry things
Into which are vanishing-
Somewhere else
Must be realer than here
Where things go
Than disappear...

I'm Goona Copy

I’m surely gonna copy,
Be it poem, DVD or floppy,
And win Nobel Prize and trophy.

I will copy poets all
Whether they are big or small
Ya! No one can make me stop
Till I scale a fame’s highest top.

At the beginning of age
When God made men in his own image
He started this “Plagiarist” trend
Which I am not gonna end.

And what is creativity?
If not an ability to hide
a source of theft
with impunity.

When there is nothing
original under the sun,
Why should I copy not
and deprive myself of fun.

So I’ll copy them word by word
be they Pablo, Shakespeare or Wordsworth.
I’ll copy them from morn to evening
And would excel HITESH and Kipling.
Can you prove, they were not plagiarist,
And had not copy from some poet’s list.

You can inform FBI, KGB or CIA,
But I won’t stop my wanton ways.
And I will copy without shame,
Till I earn big name and fame.

I will copy till people start copying me,
And then and then only I will
give up this vice with glee.: -)

I Will Be Right Here (feat. David Campbell)

How can I say how much you've done for me
How much I have just knowing I had you
You touched my world
And I'll never be the same
You touched my heart
And now everything has changed
You are the one in this life I'll remember
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
Wherever you are
My heart is with you
No matter how far
I'll always be near
Whenever you need me
I will be right here
There'll always be a part of you with me
I hope there'll be a part of me with you
Just call my name
And I'll hear you on the wind
Just close your eyes
And I'll find you once again
Just know that I'm on your side and remember
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
Wherever you are
My heart is with you
No matter how far
I'll always be near
Whenever you need me
I will be right here
And when the wind touches you
It will touch me too
And the same star you see
Will be the one that shines on me
I'll be here when you need me
I'll be here anytime
Baby I'm on your side so remember
I will be right here
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
Wherever you are
My heart is with you
No matter how far
I'll always be near
Whenever you need me
I will be right here
I will be right here
I will be right here

Step Out In Faith

Some seek God’s face both night and day
For months and even years
They’ll kneel and pray and pray and pray
With heart and soul in tears

They know The Lord can do this thing
Their faith in Christ is strong
And so with prayer God’s praise they’ll sing
Believing nothing’s wrong

But faith is not just sitting still
True faith dictates we stand
If through our deeds we do God’s will
Then God will lend a hand

We need to move we need to stir
We need much more than talk
If mighty things will soon occur
We need in faith to walk

Its good to pray its good to praise
But yet there’s so much more
Consulting God in all our ways
Opens many a door

Step out in faith but not as fools
Learn first to understand
Obey The Lord obey His rules
And see God mighty hand

The Lord may love the songs we sing
Our ways are His concern
He’s not a puppet on a string
Nor water tap to turn

Think not The Lord has all to do
When faith has been received
Action must come from me and you
In Him we have believed

Much More In Store

Praise God, we know there’s more, when He closes that final door,
On this dark world’s present time, as we enter a new world sublime.
Leaving behind pain and suffering, beginning our reign with a King,
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after we’ve entered Eternal Life.

A world yet seen by earthly man, but all part of God’s Eternal Plan,
Even as this world ends for sure, one we enter will eternally endure,
Along with all entering through, the celestial portal with me and you,
All who come to a faith in God, while wanderers on this earthly sod.

All of those given eyes to see, shall have them open for all Eternity,
To see things never seen before, the things we’ll enjoy forevermore.
Not to mention we’ll never see again, the darkness of unsaved men,
As wickedness seems to preside, where the Truth of God is denied.

Not only will Christ not be denied, we’ll reign forever at Christ’s side,
Reigning with Jesus when He rules, in His Kingdom devoid of fools,
As Christ reigns and rules over all, nations of people, big and small;
Man’s reign shall be in the past, as Christ’s Kingdom will forever last.

As we look forward and anticipate, that time we enter Heaven’s Gate,
We truly know so little my friend, about the time ahead we will spend,
And for us there’s so much in store, with Eternal Life and much more,
All to be a wonder and surprise, as we see Heaven with our own eyes.

Wrong Answers May Not Be The Same!

The right answers are the same,
For the same questions asked,
Whether they write on their own or copy,
Teachers won't have doubts, but feel happy,
For their students are smart.
When the wrong answers are written,
Not by only one, but by many in the class,
Teachers know that the students resort to copy,
When the same wrong concept is written,
Many times in many places without knowing,
That the concept is wrong and need to be corrected,
The same wrong answer may not be written by many,
But by the one who does not know that it is wrong.

Keep The House A Little Darker

Keep the house a little darker
Let the curtains remain drawn-still
It is not right to leave the door open....
Wear your robe
And in the safest chamber of the house
Recall the unlearned prayer.....
He always enters
Through closed doors...
