A Distorted Mirror

The clocks, suddenly have stopped,
My alarm goes off all day,
The world has passed- who could last
With angels for company?

Something's wrong-I don't belong
Does everyone feel this way?
Why people do as I think
And act out all I say?

Is beyond reality
And I am not sure if they're real
Or if I am still in the world
Or ever was-has it changed?

Am I just beginning
To see beyond ignorance?
I think it was meant to be
The impossible-destiny,
A proof of omnipresence...
(Or lack o common sense) ...

Isolated, not just glassed in, but apart

You ever just feel like you're in another world, because you're not like them
ever feel set apart, not sanctified, because it's like you're they condemn
you, not even for being a Christian, but just because you don't fit in
not because of lack of sin
or the 'not of the world' idea, i feel that, but what happens when you
don't fit in with your own people, when your meaningless interests conflict
even contradict
their own, when they look at like some alien and assume that they too
believe, but there seems to be this wall
that stops us from being friends, because im so different,
who are my people, when i don't even belong with those who are
'not of the world' they feel so far
away from me i can't help but feel isolated sometimes
as i write these rhymes
i also must wonder of them really know the real me
they can agree
with me
on what is important, but i must say i feel isolated
not just glassed in, but
apart...

Out Of Focus

I knew what I wanted and I was fixed on it
I was sure of it, I couldve been wrong
It seems like its never quite like
I thought itd be
The reality, am I where I belong?
Its not like they said
It feels like most everythings out of focus in my mind
Im trying to make some sense out of what I left behind
The difference in who I am and the one want to be
It seemed so much easier when there was something to believe
A different perspective now and the world I see
Is in front of me, and everythings wrong
The grass was so much greener when it was next to me
Now its under me, am I where I belong?
The world, it only seems to change from where you look
Much different than the pictures that they took
Its nothing like they said it would be

His Own World

I had a world of my own once
It used to belong to me
All in a rush, and all in a hurry
It went away, it was so blurry

Nothing makes sense now
His own world can’t be shared
My own world is gone
It had a life, it had a soul

Inside me I feel an empty hole
Something that’s not quite
Meant to be full?
I am in a world were I am a fool

It is not right, and it isn’t cool
That’s his own world over here
My own world is gone, it’s not
Near, it went away and took with

It, every bit of my accomplishment
Left I am with nothing now
Inside our out, behind the cow
In his world he has everything

If I had claim to a world
It would be a nothing
It would be an ultimate zero
A frozen fortress of doom

Destruction follows me down a path
Strikes me furious with it’s wrath
Where did my world go?
Where is my own world?

How Come The World Wont Stop

Hmmm
Somebody told me
You were not coming home
The words are spinnin in time
And the air suddenly went cold
The sun is still shining
But everything feels like rain, oh
And if I had one wish
It would be to see you again
Nothings fair
When we loose
Without a moment to say goodbye
How come the world wont stop spinning
Now that youre gone (now that youre gone)
I know every end has beginnings
But this ones all wrong (this ones all wrong)
So wrong, so wrong
Caught in the middle
Wrong place, wrong time
And Im hopelessly missing you
And I cant stop deny
Nothings fair anymore
And I know theres a better place
And Ill never stop dreaming of you
Ooooh
How come the world wont stop spinning
(now that youre gone) now that youre gone
I know every end has beginnings
But this ones all wrong (this ones all wrong)
So wrong, so wrong
How can the seasons keep changing
Since you disappeared
Oh yeah
(tell me) how come the world wont stop
How come the world wont stop
Sweet tears are shed
This pain we lay to rest
Its hard lettin go
But I keep movin on
In a place I dont belong
How come the world (stop spinning)
Said now that youre gone
I know every end has beginning
Said this ones all wrong
Said this ones all wrong
(how can the seasons) keep changing
Since you disappeared
Oh, youre gone
Youre gone
How come the world wont stop
How come the world wont stop
How come the world wont stop spinning
Now that youre gone
Yeah heya
I know every end has beginning
But this ones all wrong
So wrong

500 Days of You

Don’t you believe in the things I feel
That faith will guide us and that in the end all our dreams are real
Have you never felt the way I feel about you
Or are you just searching for a snowflake falling from a sky that’s blue

Everything in this life happens for a reason
listen to the miracles, our destiny is where we belong

I believed that you were the one
But maybe everything I learned about love was useless and wrong
And who do I blame for all the lies
I thought love was grand but now I see it’s just another disguise

Maybe everything is nothing more than coincidence
There are no wonders, our destiny is just plain sense

A Changing_Is On_The Scene

A changing_is on_the scene.
And people coming to their senses,
With determined common sense.

A changing_is on_the scene.
An adolscent outlook taken,
Has been shakened and replaced.

A changing_is on_the scene.
A giddy-ap has now provoked,
A seriousness of some folks.

A changing_is on_the scene.
A rap attacking has been saddled.
Restless cattle held back.
And disturbances that rattled,
Has stopped a need for war and battle.
With a pawning of a new dawn,
Found wrong and now retrieved.
People who were fast asleep,
Awaken now to believe...
All their miseries inflicted,
Were their real enemies.

A changing_is on_the scene.
And people coming to their senses,
With determined common sense.

A changing_is on_the scene.
An adolscent outlook taken,
Has been shakened and replaced.
With a pawning of a new dawn,
Found wrong and now retrieved.
People who were fast asleep,
Awaken now to believe...
All their miseries inflicted,
Were their real enemies.

Now there is a need for people,
To confront reality!
For_what_it_is...
And not what is perceived!

A changing_is on_the scene.
A giddy-ap has now provoked,
A seriousness of some folks.

Now there is a need for people,
To confront reality!

How Does It Feel

How does it feel"
I'm not afraid of anything
I just need to know that I can breath
I don't need much of anything
But suddenly, suddenly
I am small and the world is big
All around me is fast moving
Surrounded by so many things
But suddenly, suddenly
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel?
I'm young, and I am free
But I get tired, and I get weak
I get lost, and I can't sleep
But suddenly, suddenly
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel?
Would you comfort me
Would you cry with me;
Ahh, ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
Ahh, ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
ahh, ahh-ah
I am small and the world is big
But I'm not afraid of anything;
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel,
to be different from me?
Are we the same?
How does it feel
How does it feel
Different from me, different...
How does it feel
How does it feel
Different from me, different...
How does it feel
How does it feel
Different from me, different...
How does it feel
How does it feel
Different from me
(ahh, ahh, ahh-ah;
ahh-ah,
ahh-ah,
ahh, ahh, ahh-ah;
ahh-ah,
ahh-ah)

Whose Country?

This is the Earth we all brlong to,
In the beginning were Adam and Eve created;
My Earth,
Your Earth,
Our Earth,
Their Earth,
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My country,
Your country,
Our country,
Their country,
Whose country is the best?
Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden.

We are in tne same garden today,
This garden is now called Earth;
So did they increased and multiplied.
Whose country is this?
Spreading all over the Earth we came.
From Eden to what we have today,
Whose world?
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My world,
Your world,
Our world,
Their world,
We are the same people from the same source;
We came from Adam and Eve.

From generations unto generations,
The same people into different colours today;
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
Of many colours taday to enhance the beauty os Earth,
The same homan race from the beginning;
Whose people are they?
My people,
Your people,
Their people,
From one language to many languages today;
So, why worry about the colour of one's skin?

Without Adam and Eve,
Could we have been here today?
Why then create the boundaries?
We are the same people.
This is the Earth that we all belong to,
Why can't we see the truth and live?
This is my home,
This is your home,
This is our home,
This is their home,
The very Earth that we all live in.

Ahhh Life

It's strange I have to say,
Sometimes...
When I stop and look,
Really look at myself and who I've become...
I don't think
If I saw the old me, somewhere on the street
She'd recognize herself;
This Me, I've become.
Don't get me wrong,
By no means do I regret the decisions I've made...
They were best for their time.
But,
Sometimes I stop and wonder...
What would have happened
If we'd gone through with our plans?
If we would have gotten married,
Had the kids we'd talked about.
If things hadn't
Ended
So
Suddenly.
If we would have moved out of state like we wanted to...
So much time has passed
And my evolution into the woman I've become,
Is
So different from the girl who loved you,
Thought she'd die without you...
Turns out,
I've survived just fine.
The lack of you
Was not the end of me.
But a beginning
For, someone who, perhaps needed to emerge.
It's funny...
How certain instances
Define us...
Mold and shape us
Into the people we become.
That girl,
She was naive and she was sweet
And she was...
Inexperienced
Simply because she hadn't lived enough life.
Perhaps
She did die without you.
However,
The woman that stands in her place
Is
Much stronger.
The world does not scare her
And,
She's very much aware
That her strength lies in her..
It's strange,
When I stop and look at my reflection
In some shiny object
I see familiar eyes looking back at me
But,
I know I've changed
Fundamentally.

A World That Is Learning

Their words are killing you
Your fear is part of their agenda
You feel them shaking you
And if you question their offended
Can you really risk the failure of never being wrong
Can you really take the chance
that you just don't belong to
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning that everyone is blind
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning
TV is changing you
You lock the doors and seal the windows
You feel so paranoid
It's like your dead before they get you
Can you really risk the failure of never being wrong
Can you really take the chance
that you just don't belong to
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning that everyone is blind
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning we're running out of time
This world is killing you
You've lost control of all your senses
The speed is shaking you
Things change so fast you can't remember
Should you play it say and write somebody elses songs
Or write your own though there's a chance
that you just don't belong to
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning that everyone is blind
A world that is searching to find
A world that is learning that we're running out of time
A world that we just can't afford
With half of us counting on the coming of the
Lord
A world that is searching for love
A world that is yearning

We had entered this world from dreams

We had entered this world from dreams
Into the Reality.
We accepted this world as real,
As the existing thing, as a given thing...
The fairy world, at the same time - simple...
The world wholly filled, the world - empty...
Trying with the 'YES' proof
To describe the Eternity...
Trying with the 'NO' denial
To escape the Eternity's eccentricity...

Open Book's Monologue Part 4 Bookkeeping

Regular written books or a regular written novel
Could sell
But each copy would essentially be the same
And the words stagnant, unable to change, in a sense lame
Because they cannot move or rearrange
They just never change

But I guess even though I'm an open book that's where we differ
My words do change, and my past is rewritten
When my memories become hazy or hidden
Suddenly I've changed my past, said something different to her
Or him, or supposedly done an action that never did occur.
When witnesses balk and there is no vindication
Nor affirmation
It's hard to keep my memories truthfully
Call me a liar for changing them, but that's me

Bookkeeping is near impossible
Because rewriting my beginnings is possible
It's hard to remember what's fact or fiction
When this novel is just a fantastical rendition
Of what I think my life is or thought my life was
Not what it really is or really was
I think it's because
Those unhappy memories of the past ought
Just to be forgot
So I choose (o so subconsciously) to rewrite them
Only to find they've made my destiny
They've made me- me

It's funny that I write of bookkeeping
And changing the beginning of the book
When I feel so strongly
That such things are impossible for me
So in a sense this poem is a contradiction
But then maybe my changes are just my perception
Of my story because I cannot look back
So I guess I'm wrong... future and past are stained in black
Because as a book I could change what I think
Maybe even float not sink
But that's just my perception, because my story
Is actually
The Immutable tragedy
The tragedy of me
And past... present... future
They won't endure
One day pages will crumble to dust

But I think... I'll go first... Actually I think.... I think...
I must.

I mean the word proof not in the sense of the lawyers, who set two half proofs equal to a whole one, but in the sense of a mathematician, where half proof = 0, and it is demanded for proof that every doubt becomes impossible.

The World Has Changed

Writers: leo sayer, billy livsey & sergio cuevas
Though the world has changed
Were still the same
You know that I love you
Though the world has changed
Were still the same
You know that I love you -- yeah
Counting the months and the years
When I lived alone
The days were so bleak
And the nights were so black and cold
Walkin around in the street
In the pouring rain
Hanging round waitin for love
But it never came
Suddenly you were there
Though I never thought about you
Now that the world has changed
Its so strange that I found you
Sharing a secret that no one
Could understand
Feeling brave in my heart
Yet too scared to let go of your hand
Runnin wild in the streets
Just the way all the young lovers do
You only livin for me
And me only for you
Suddenly life has changed
When you said I love you
And though the words were plain
Its so strange
You said I love you
And oh how my life has changed
After searchin in vain
I found you
Though the world has changed
Were still the same -- I still love you
Though the world has changed
Ahh, were still the same, yknow I love you
One night I thought that you were gone
What could I do?
Runnin around in the pouring rain
Lookin for you
Wondering if Id ever see you again
Then through the darkness
I heard you calling my name
Loving you when youre not there
Im never lonely anywhere
Outside the world has changed
Were the same
I still love you
And though the world has changed
The words are the same
You know I love you

Baby we shine just like a start

Your love for me is real
That’s why we shine
Just like a bright star
We shine, we shine
The thing between us is real
I can feel it baby
I know this is the deal
You are my beginning
And you are my end
That’s why we shine
Yes baby we shine
When we are together
I know this was meant to be
It’s like I was lost
And now I know where I belong
I belong next to you
I belong to your heart
That’s why we shine
Baby we shine
Baby we shine

Mind Fed Rituals

When determined people,
Pray to God to have their way...
And God sends to them messengers,
To scream from bullhorns...
This is not going to happen.

Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.

Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.

People like this will make their mission,
To enlist others to value their point of view.
Even to select and depict those unknowing,
They have been chosen as culprits...
By someone who did not like,
How they were told...
To remove their rose colored glasses!

Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.

Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.
And the 'spiritual' side of it...
Is a routine of mind fed rituals,
Outdated by a lack indepth perception.

Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
A common sense for many,
That has been diluted.

If You Wish To Keep God On Your Side

Many people of the World's greatest religions one common thought do share
They think that they can save their souls from hell by the simple act of prayer
But if there is a God and an afterlife they surely have got it wrong
For God should be for everyone and everyone to God belong.

If you are one who believes in prayer but by God's law does not live
Then your fair God on judgement day much sympathy to you will not give
If you do lack in honour and wrong others in some way
Then your God will not pardon you though hard to him you pray.

Those who do their killing in God's name to his kingdom will not enter in
For murder in God's eyes no matter what the cause is a death of the soul sin
And abuse and rape of others God too find hard to forgive
If you wish to keep God on your side a good life you must live.

There's far more to the soul's salvation than some do realize
For those unequal in the eyes of man would be equal in God's eyes
And if there is an afterlife in another World somewhere
For entry into such a special place one would need more than prayer.

I Let You And The World Know, Lago Lago

The one who follows you
follows me also...

Day after day miracles happen
With not explanation
But through the world that is speaking
A gentle admonition
Or a harsh reprimand
Always there is the image
Of who I am
Before me in my peers...

Standing alone
I listen to others repeating thoughts
That were mine moments before
And I used to wonder how they knew
Or if it was ridicule
Exposing my private world
And then I realized
That people were not to blame
For the reality I made
And the echoes I feared
Were the recording
Of my own voice....

But why-should I hear myself
Speaking through others
As if every idea immediately
Impresses on the environment
A form of existence
Whose origin can be traced back to me...

As though a great adversary
Suddenly turned to me and said,
'I have been wrong about you
Let me make it up to you
And offer my unlimited assistance
You have passed the test,
Become aware,
Now go-and live to your fullest extent.'

I wonder if this was a last wish
Or if I have died already
But I decided that
A secret had been let go
An undefinable actuality
Transpiring any possibility
Into a fragile and complex reality...
My reality, as I understand....

Destiny

Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny
