A Bachelor

'Why keep a cow when I can buy,'
Said he, 'the milk I need,'
I wanted to spit in his eye
Of selfishness and greed;
But did not, for the reason he
Was stronger than I be.

I told him: ''Tis our human fate,
For better or for worse,
That man and maid should love and mate,
And little children nurse.
Of course, if you are less than man
You can't do what we can.

'So many loving maids would wed,
And wondrous mothers be.'
'I'll buy the love I want,' he said,
'No squally brats for me.'
. . . I hope the devil stoketh well
For him a special hell.

The Virgin Martyr

Every wild she-bird has nest and mate in the warm April weather,
But a captive woman, made for love -- no mate, no nest has she.
In the spring of young desire, young men and maids are wed together,
And the happy mothers flaunt their bliss for all the world to see:
Nature's sacramental feast for these -- an empty board for me.

I, a young maid once, an old maid now, deposed, despised, forgotten --
I, like them have thrilled with passion and have dreamed of nuptial rest,
Of the trembling life within me of my children unbegotten,
Of a breathing new-born body to my yearning bosom prest,
Of the rapture of a little soft mouth drinking at my breast.

Time, that heals so many sorrows, keeps mine ever freshly aching;
Though my face is growing furrowed and my brown hair turning white,
Still I mourn my irremediable loss, asleep or waking --
Still I hear my son's voice calling "mother" in the dead of night,
And am haunted by my girl's eyes that will never see the light.

O my children that I might have had! my children, lost for ever!
O the goodly years that might have been -- now desolate and bare!
O malignant God or Fate, what have I done that I should never
Take my birthright like the others, take the crown that women wear,
And possess the common heritage to which all flesh is heir?

Mother's Day 2012

A mother is a special being
That keeps the human race going
Who is so caring and is so loving
Who does most of the babies' rearing
Who does a lot of hard-working
Who does the home-making
Who keeps the routine chores moving
Who does the children's teaching
Who is predominately sacrificing
Who, when someone's sick, does the nursing
A lovely, loving human being
Created by God.
Let's wish all mothers
‘A Happy Mothers Day today! '

Choosing A Christian Wife

Why are you surprised
that we are not together?

Did I not tell you
that when I married
I wanted to marry
a Christian woman?

Did I not tell you
that I wanted to marry
one who loved Jesus
Christ as much as I?

Did I not tell you
that I wanted to marry
one who loved my Lord
my God as much as I?

Did I not tell you
that I love my Lord
my God more than I
love this world this life?

You secretly told me
that you would become
a real Christian woman
after we were married!

But you love honour
Satan you love your
sin your lies you say
greed sin evil is good!

My hope for eternity
is my heavenly hope
in heaven with Jesus
with God my Creator!

I cannot spend eternity
in eternal torment with
demons fallen angels with
you bound in eternal hell.

Why would I forsake
even the smallest most humble shack
in heaven for a mansion
in eternal hell without hope of redemption?

Book Of Love - The Types

LIST, and in memory bear
These six fond loving pair.
Love, when aroused, kept true
Rustan and Rad!
Strangers approach from far
Joseph and Suleika;
Love, void of hope, is in
Ferhad and Schirin.
Born for each other are
Medschnun and Lily;
Loving, though old and grey,
Dschemil saw Boteinah.
Love's sweet caprice anon,
Brown maid and Solomon!
If thou dost mark them well,
Stronger thy love will swell.

Night Nurse

Tell her try her best just to make it quick
Woman tend to the sick
Because there must be something she can do
This heart is broken in two
Tell her its a case of emergency
Theres a patient by the name of mickey
Night nurse
Only you alone can quench this here thirst
My night nurse oh god
Oh the pain is getting worse
I dont want to see no doc
I need attendance from my nurse around the clock
Because theres no prescription for me
Shes the one the only remedy
My night nurse
Only you alone can quench this here thirst
My night nurse
Oh the pain is getting worse
Im hurt my love
I dont want to see no doc
I need attendance from my nurse around the clock
Because there s no prescription for me
Shes the one the only remedy
Night nurse
Only you alone can quench this here thirst
My night nurse
Oh the pain is getting worse

Fooled by love

Love is pain; i loved love but love didn't love me
love told me what i wanted to hear but never
what i needed to hear
ever since i told love i love him and more
love found more ways to get me out the
door
love must have blind me because i didn't
see it coming, i wanted love to treat me better but
that wasn't love's kind of loving
love continued to hurt me until there was
no-more of me
I lefted love with a lesson learned find
a true love or get fooled by love

i hope i regret loving you
i hope u remember the jokes u told me and the way you made me laugh
i hope you remember the first time i told you i cared for you
i hope i regret saying i wanna kiss you

Back To The Basics

it is not funny
it is true

that the more you hate the more you love the person that you love

try to eject
the person that you love from your system

eject, junk, spit, defecate
whatever you do

something in you is already missing
because loving is loving and it is

not:
ejecting but embracing
junking but keeping
spitting but swallowing
defecating but the eating of the pudding and the nourishing

try hating love and it always comes back to you
not to shame you
but always to love you again

to make you meek and gentle
to make you cry and smile

to make you all too human, vulnerable, weak and so forgiving
and something too hard on you as hate
becomes too soft
as gelatin
with lots of sugar and honey and milk and grapes and peach and
red red cheries on top of everything

Spit It Out

(coverdale/galley)
I never knew what a kiss could mean
Until the first time I kissed you,
You took my love in the palm of your hand
An showed me what a woman could do
Now I dont want sugar coated loving
Just silver tongue tenderness,
You gotta give me a certain satisfaction
The kind of love you seal with a kiss
An spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
Spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
I can remember, I can recall
When I first set my eyes on you,
Ill never forget the thrill of it all
Dreaming of the things we could do
Baby, you must be crazy,
Fooling with a man like me,
cos I roll my dice with a heart of ice
An make it clear to see
Spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
Spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
I never knew what a kiss could mean
til the first time I kissed you,
You took my love in the palm of your hand
An showed me what a woman could do
Your sweet caress an tenderness
Can take the pain away,
The things that you do make a queen out of you
An make me a king for a day
If you dont like it, spit it out
Now I know what your love can do
Ill be hanging round your door,
An Im gonna love you baby,
Ill give you more than you bargained for
Spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
Spit it out, spit it out, spit it out
If you dont like it
Spit it out, if you dont like it...

Wallow in the Greed

If you could know how much I earn,
I'm sure to see you blush!
To earn the stipend that I do
Will mean therefore, I look at you
From high above in my success
And say to you, 'Poor thing, God bless.'

The greedy bastard that I am –
I love to drown in bling!
Unlike you – so bloody poor, and
Picking coins up off the floor!
But sorry mate, I'm not to blame –
The fact your bank account is lame!

Come and see my flashy car,
Awash inside with leather –
I saw the battered wreck you drive,
Spewing out its oily smog!
Your banger, friend, is such a dog –
Clanking out its dialogue.

I shall die in gleaming wealth,
Floating out in gentle stealth –
Having bought an excellent health.
As for you, my hard-up mate,
You'll fade away a slave to fate,
Surviving on the welfare state.

The Game of Fate

What if I told you love was a game I don’t want to play,
Because its hurt me one too many times,
And I’m afraid,
Afraid of finding everything I want,
And it not wanting me back,
Or what if love is just some trick of our imagination,
And one day we wake to find nothing at all,
And all that’s left is our own devastation.
Sometimes I dream too much,
And when I finally find my dreams in life,
They only cause me strife,
And pain,
And hurt,
But love and pain walk hand in hand with fate,
Life is an adventure filled with pain,
But somewhere deep within that pain is something stronger,
Something that can over come it all,
And that is love,
But first you have to ride the waves of fate.
Through the many trials you must face,
In the end it is all worth it no matter how much you had to give up along the way,
Love is worth the fight,
And that is what fate is trying to teach you,
That love is so special,
It shouldn’t be so easy to obtain,
So fate throws you pain,
But you have to push through,
In order to find the love that’s true.

All I Ever Wanted

Well I told you 'bout your attitude
And it didnt do me any good
Cause you took your love away
Left me here alone with all this lonely heartache.
There are places I remember
Where the ladies still are tender
Against you they cant compare
Baby weve just got to get it back together.
All I ever wanted was to be with you
All I ever wanted was to be with you.
I just got to get it through to you
That my loving heart is ever true
Please come back to where you belong
Girl you got to know Ill never do you wrong.
All I ever wanted was to be with you
All I ever wanted was to be with you.
Yeah you.
Oh oh.
All I ever wanted was to be with you
All I ever wanted was to be with you.
Well I told you 'bout your attitude
And it didnt do me any good

An Old Maid's Lament

If I Told You That

Now tell me how you feel if I told
You that I have feelings for you
Ansd would it be so wrong to say
Whats on my mind
Im sorry I have to
We were friends but with time
What I feel inside for you has changed
But Id give up on love, if I thought
That it was untrue for you
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
I know that we were just friends
But what if I decide to bring somethings in
I hope it wont offend the trust
We have cause I dont want this to end
I you think that well lose what we have
Then Id just rather stay (rather stay) the same
(Id rather stay the same)
Cause I dont wanna choose
Between two of the most precious things to me
(tell me)
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
If we take this chance and extend
To each other romance
I hope it would be
The right thing for you and me
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
Would you be there for me
Could you dare to hold me
Will my feelings leave me
Lonely if I told you

Engraved Feelings**************1979

sitting in my mothers chair
pain is etched everywhere
feeling the aches and pains
that she must go through
living in her solitude.

a house is not a home
if no one picks up the phone.
a telephone call is all she asks
it's not much of a task.

staring at the pictures of her
grand childrens faces.
recalling when she was younger
with no lines or traces.
that old age would soon appear.
it was something that she did not fear.

now her medical problems have gotten worse
she is more or less an invalid, and needs a nurse.
this is something that she always feared
the burden upon her children, far and near.

yet there is something that she does not realize.
that all her children love her
and will always be close by.

Regina Cœle

Say, did his sisters wonder what could Joseph see
In a mild, silent little Maid like thee?
And was it awful, in that narrow house,
With God for Babe and Spouse?
Nay, like thy simple, female sort, each one
Apt to find Him in Husband and in Son,
Nothing to thee came strange in this.
Thy wonder was but wondrous bliss:
Wondrous, for, though
True Virgin lives not but does know,
(Howbeit none ever yet confess'd,)
That God lies really in her breast,
Of thine He made His special nest!
And so
All mothers worship little feet,
And kiss the very ground they've trod;
But, ah, thy little Baby sweet
Who was indeed thy God!

I Love You

I love you when you laugh with me
I love you when you smile
I love you when you're mad at me
Hope it's only for a while

I love you when you talk with me
I love you when you yell
I love you when you ignore me
Even though it feels like hell

I love you when you listen
I love you when you cry
I love more & more everyday
Without you I would die

I love you when we go for walks
I love you when we eat
I love you for your time with me
Your presence is a treat

I love you when you gaze at me
I love you when your gone
Although I'd rather be with you
My love for you goes on

I love you when you encourage me
I love you when your cold
I love you when your critical
With you I want to grow old

I love the way you love me
I love you when you hate
I love you through our journey
For you are my soul mate

I love you when you hurt me
Your words they cut so deep
I love you when you touch me
I love you in my sleep

I love you every second
I love you when we're foes
I love you when your my best friend
Cause that's the way love goes

I love you with everything I am
And with everything I do
Even though we are not perfect
I love you because you're you

I'll love you when I'm in Heaven
I will love you from above
I'll love to watch your journey finish
I love you, you're my love

Who Won? story poem

Although you see me as brute.
You will in time learn to love me.
This vow I take is absolute
I swear by all the gods that be.

My captive: you have captured me.
A woman of a noble race
you look at me contemptuously.
I see no fear upon your face.

Such courage I must bow before.
Your pride still makes you stand erect,
although a prisoner of war.
I hold you in highest respect.

I will treat you courteously.
though I will never let you go.
I hope that one day you will see
me as a friend not as a foe.

The lady learned that she could trust
his given word he would not break.
An honest man not ruled by lust
he wanted but he would not take.

what she was not prepared to give
and so he waited patiently.
The maid was young and so alive
that she considered carefully.

What alternatives she had.
To marry him and reign as queen
this prospect did not seem too bad
and just forget what might have been.

To take him as her chosen mate
transfer her love and loyalty.
It seemed to her decreed by fate.
She was where she was meant to be.

He was a man of noble blood
who by his actions tried to prove
his love for her as best he could.
She found it in her heart to love.

This man who’d been her enemy
but then had showed he was a friend.
Declared his love quite openly,
his hope she’d love him in the end.

Was this pure practicality
or had he really won her heart.
A question which still bothers me
Can love and life be things apart?

No Secrets

God knows us better than I know me
God knows we love the creator of our sea.

God knows we love color and softness of skin
God knows we try not to intentionally sin.

God knows we love the other half of earth's human gender
God knows we love children and the one from December.

God knows we love all living life
The fish, animals and of course; our loving wife.

God knows us because of the time lent
Even when we sit and just question; where it went.

God is our happiness, tears and joy
Magnificence seen in both the girls and the boys.

God knows we love silence and the word
God knows we love the beauty of a flying bird.

God knows us as we know the creator
God listens, while we human beings put off until later.

God is for each and everyone
God knows when in life we need a special somone.

God of nature and God of our soul
God is earthly singular and universal whole.

Do You Love Your Children

Father do you love your children
I heard you do
But father will you help your children
We need you to
It could be worse I know its true
But only if we plan
La la la lady mary... its time to show your hand
La la la lady mary... and make a few demands
Children do you hope that someone
Is watching you
But do you feel the need for someone
I know I do
I think about it constantly
We really arent that wise
La la la lady mary... open up our eyes
La la la lady mary... and make us realize
First I have a question
(do you love us)
I would like to know
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Yes we really need to know
(do you love us)
I think the time has come for you to show
(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
(do you love us)(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
(do you love us)
Mother, do you love your children
I know you do
But mother do you know your children
Will poison you
The answer does not seem too clear
We look so hard ourselves
La la la lady mary... put your books back on the shelf
La la la lady mary... and save us from ourselves
First I have a question
(do you love us)
I would like to know
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Yes we really need to know
(do you love us)
I think the time has come for you to show
(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
