To Debby On The Death Of Her Dad

To say sorry seems such an easy thing to say
But from you that won't take your sense of loss away
You have been burdened with a heavy cross
And time alone can only heal your sense of loss.

Old 98 for you it ended bad
The grim reaper from you he took your dad
I only can imagine how you must feel
But time the scars of sorrow always heal.

You've lost the hero of your childhood years
And he was one well worthy of your tears
But Debby your tears will bring to you relief
And help to heal your mental scars of grief.

Your father was a man I never knew
But he was one who meant so much to you
The life breath from his body may be gone
But his soul alive and well and living on.

I'm one of those with words who like to play
And to say sorry such an easy thing to say
And I can't feel the sense of loss you feel

The scars inside will not heal

There is noubt different than being raped
and being pushed down mentaly.
except that the wounds also bleed inside.
The mental scars will not heal.
They do not fade.

There was no difference between being raped
and being run over by a lorry
except that afterwards the sicko asked if you enjoyed it.
As if it were a game.
And still the scars have not healed.

There is no difference of being raped
and going head first through a top floor window.
except that afterwards you are not afraid of hights.
but of half the human population.
And still the scars linger on with the pain.
They do not fade.

Fear of rape is a storm brewing.
Never towalk out alone
when I see a man coming towards me.
All the fears reopen.
And all there is to do is run for dear life.
This scar will not go it will not heal.

Never to open the door to a knock
without the fear has he found me.
What if its him.
All of the fears hold me back.

I think about how

The first time
I hung onto him

Un-break my heart,
Become part of me again,

Leaving a hole that sucked in my soul,

Living Again...

i thought my life was over
no where else but to end
then suddenly im woke up
by a love from within

in so much pain and darkest waste
my life was one that was so displaced
by venom slow and subtle i fear
that had me always in so many tears

never knowing what i did
to bring on so much pain well hid
never seeing that it wasn't me
never knowing i was not free

but then as i was exited
by all the hate and ugliness
left to find my own simple way
left to die on the street some day

along comes sunshine and gentle rain
to remind me that i am not to blame
and that i am a living soul
who has so much left to show

loving me and caring too
attending to my emotional wounds
exercising my guilt away
reminding me that i am ok

living again i am today
in the light of love i am

Unable To Admit It

Accept your wounds and scars?
To forgive and forget the fact,
That upon me they have been afflicted?
No love that deep will I ever have,
For anyone who believes I can be left...
With tears wept to then leave me,

At times it seems like no relief
We can suffer long with our grief

Withered

My heart beats the same
but nothings left standing
these fragile bones has giving in
as the weather begin to deter
my end. Life as its been
has crossed and my time in the spot light
has died out. As no one remembers,
as a memory is just that,
a thought to be forgotten
the mightiest have fell victim
and be left as ashes in the wind
a name to recollect as it passes by
a whisper from my ear to yours
and as i slowly rot in this time
forgotten by everyone.
Everything i ever held near
is gone in a blink of an eye
i see the mystery in my error
to believe all puzzles could be built
see all wound heal in time
but time doesn't heal all wound
for a mental scar shall
tarnish even the purest of us
as the spot light's only for a minute
how long that minute last
is how strong at heart you are
so as the insect eat what's left on
these withered bones
one last breath is all i ask

Now I see that you are pushing me away,
The scars remain as my pain,
I can see that my veins are full of scars,
Scars of remaining past,
Scars from all those cutting,
Scars from all the pain I went through,

intricate drawings cut into her skin
they tell of tales of the little blue kitten
