It is the responsibility of the sender to make sure the receiver understands the message.

Love Receiver
I send my message out
Across the city tonight
To communicate and to call your number
Tune me in, Im your satellite
Get ready for my transmission
Youre my love receiver
Youll be my love receiver
And youre my love receiver
Ive got this big transformer
And I wanna turn it on tonight
Well Ive got broadcast power, put a line in me
Ive got my antenna up and ready
Just dial me in on your frequency
Get ready, for my, transmission
Your my love receiver
Youll be my love receiver
And youre my love receiver
Ive got this big transformer
And I wanna turn it on tonight
Dont touch that dial, baby
Youre gonna drain it all night, yeah
(the miracle mile)
Baby, hey, hey
Get ready, for my transmission
Youre my...
Youre my love receiver, yeah
Youre my love receiver, yeah
Youre my love receiver, yeah
Youre my love receiver, yeah
Youre my love receiver
Youll be my love receiver
And youre my love receiver
Ive got this big transformer
And I wanna turn it on tonight
Youre my love receiver
Youll be my love receiver
And youre my love receiver
Ive got a big transformer and I wanna turn it on
(got on overloaded socket...)
Broadcast power and I want an overload...tonight

Technology And Communications
What’s your mobile number?
I’ll call you later when
Things are not so busy
Now, just where is my pen?
No – let’s think – I’ll send an email
At least by close of play
Or maybe a text message
Is there any other way?
I could send facsimilies
Or faxes as they’re known
Sorry, I’m so busy
I really have to go.
Go where?
Go check my emails
Go where?
Go check my phone
Go where?
Go check my messages
Go where?
I just don’t know.
The magic of technology
Is it doesn’t matter where
The sender and receiver are
Or in their underwear
But we’ve got lost in all of this
Checking for things here and there
What seemed like real time saving
Now makes us pull out our hair
We spend so much time receiving
And retrieving things on screen
When a simple conversation
Could have made clear what we mean.

O.d. Receiver
Heartbeat
I can't see you
Heartbeat
I can hear you
I feel you pumping just beyond my door
I know exactly
What you've crawled here for
Cringe down lower
You're all dressed in grey
Me, i'm still breathing
It's just not your day
I hear you whisper like an open grave
O.d. receiver, i am all you crave
You're dying, crying, i can hear you fall
Your bony fingers scratching on my wall
O.d. receiver
I hear you screaming, well at least you try
Me, i'm still smiling but i don't know why
I'd call a doctor if i had the time
But i'm so busy with this fix of mine
O.d. receiver...

A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.
I think of a hero as someone who understands the degree of responsibility that comes with his freedom.
I Fell Indeed
when i fell in love i fell indeed
held on to every monment for the joy
but where did you get this wicked seed
how did you learn to be this coy
this was not how i dreamt about you
why do you do the wicked things you do
everyday i treat you so cool and tender
gave you love and care like in a flood
but you took the message and hurt the sender
reap from his sweat and hunt his blood
that was not how it played in my dream
why do you always wanna make me scream

We Made It More
By the way you went
You take it all
And make another sender
By the way it often takes you by surprise
You know the mender
And oh you play it strange
And anyway
We all got a little bit of something
We all got more than we bargained for
Got a need for something
But you and I we made it more
Aint gonna make another play today
I know, Im waiting on a sender
Aint gonna take my weight until you wait
I know, I need another mender
But its to you Im making a surrender
And you make another
Tell you wanna weigh another breakdown
Kicking up and had enough
That all it just seems so relentless
And oh you play it strange
Repeat pre-chorus & chorus
But you and I we made it more
Repeat chorus
We all got a little bit of something
We all got more than we bargained for

Its Never Too Late
(d. hartman)
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Its never too late
To try and reach for your desires
Even when your luck is down
You still got chances of turning around
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Its never too late
To hold the power in your hands (power in your hands)
You will find a good, good feeling
Makin new plans and starting again
Its never too late
No, its never too late
No, its never too late no, no, no, no
No, its never too late
No, its never too late
No, its never too late
Its never too late
Time keeps changin everything
Sometimes tearin down
The treasures that it brings
Ever strong
Youll make it through
The secret lies in knowing
That its up to you
Say it with me now
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
We got the time
Theres no doubt in my mind
That its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late
Get the message
Oh, its never too late

Turn On Your Receiver
Turn on your receiver , Im gonna lat it on the line
cause Im a great believer, in hangin on to what is mine
So come over here and listen, I dont want you to be missin
What I say
And I aint gonna waste my time sayin it all again
Ive been hearin stories, fact the words all over town
Ive had my share of worries ever since youve been around
So come over hear and listen, I dont want you to be missin
What I say
And I aint gonna waste my time sayin it all again
Turn on your receiver, theres a message comin through
Keep your hands off my woman
Keep your hands to yourself
Keep your hands off my woman

My Baby Understands
Whenever my baby loves me
whenever my baby needs me
and he often does
Well I'm attracted by desire ooh
cause he's the master of the fire
and he teases just to tease me
and he pleases just to please me
My baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
Whenever my baby loves me
love me like he should
whenever my baby leaves me
leaves me feeling good
he loves me
needs me
wants me
oh yes my baby does
Whenever my baby leaves me
whenever my baby goes away for a while
like he does
No I never need to worry ooh
cause my baby loves me only
Well I'm capture by desire
cause he's the master of the fire
my baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
Yes my baby understands

Take what Has Been Given
I am just here to deliver!
I could care less,
How the message is interpreted!
There were no instructions given
To return feedback!
Or my perceptions of the receiver!
Nor am I going to spend time in explanation!
Hopefully you will 'get it'!
Then again...
Who cares?
It's apparent you don't!
Or you would take what has been given,
And absorb it for what it is!
You can't even 'pretend' to have common sense!
And that is not an intentional offense.
Although, I am sure
You will believe my heart was in it!

Tender Sender
I'm a tender sender.
Blended with the best,
Of everything imagined.
Tested and tried.
And satisfying a few.
Filling them up with a prolonged aftertaste.
When I give what I've 'got'...
No dropp is left to waste.
I know I had been taken for granted...
When some have come to leave in haste!
But I am a tender sender who knows about love!
And my love not too many find hard to take.
Well...
At least from my point of view!
Yes...
I can become the worst of heartbreakers...
If I discover what I have given has been misused.
To become one's mistake!
I do not fake my method of revenge.
'That' I could...
But somehow find hard to refuse.
Although I might be the one that is left...
To suffer from my own actions deep within!
And that tenderness,
Becomes less than tender.
With a roar that bellows,
To ignite flames from my chest!
I've done my best to hide this...
But I've been pushed by one or two,
Who sought to see me raging like a bull!
Until there was nothing else left,
That I could choose to do!
And scorching them was something done.
Yet something I wished not to prove!
I'm just a tender sender...
To anyone devoted and in complete surrender!

Get The Message
(eric carmen)
Recorded by cyrus erie
Epic 10451 / 1969
Weve been goin together so long
Cant you feel that theres somethin wrong?
You only take me half way there,
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
While theres nothin more to say
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
My bedroom walls been scaled of late
So often its become my friend
But these great lows are what Ive got to end
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message

Empowered
Do you read and leave,
Without feeling the content?
Do you receive the message...
That is left and meant?
Do you sit and contemplate,
What it is that is said?
Does anything stay connected...
In your head to reflect.
Every word selected has a purpose,
To affect.
Those emotions hidden deep.
To respect...
Not neglect.
Each of us are directed,
To use this gift we have to touch.
And if it is protected in honesty...
The delivery exposes an effectiveness,
The receiver can not reject.
Do you read and leave,
Without feeling the content?
Do you receive the message...
That is left and meant?
The you have become empowered!

We need to take responsibility and educate people. That's why black folks don't like me. I always say it's our responsibility to make safe neighborhoods. It's our job to get them cleaned up.

False Witness
The lips of joy,
The lips of understanding,
The lips of wisdom,
The lips of hope,
He who walks in uprightness shows the reverence of Yahweh.
Life in the midst of a throne,
Like he who sits upon the throne;
But your love is so sweet to my taste.
In all labour, there is gain;
But, mere talk leads to poverty.
The lips of love,
Knowledge comes to him who understands;
For we have heard a rumour about you but,
We will keep our peace on this matter.
Like a message to the wife of the dead,
Like a message to the husband of the dead,
Like a message to the daughter of the dead,
Like a message to the son of the dead,
And like the jewelry of a fine gold;
But, why is the world like this?
Like two blind men sitting by the wayside,
A truthful witness saves the lives of many!
But like the foal of a donkey,
A false witness is a betrayer! !

Return To Sender
I gave a letter to the postman,
He put it his sack.
Bright in early next morning,
He brought my letter back.
She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such number, no such zone.
We had a quarrel, a lovers spat
I write Im sorry but my letter keeps coming back.
So then I dropped it in the mailbox
And sent it special d.
Bright in early next morning
It came right back to me.
She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such person, no such so.
This time Im gonna take it myself
And put it right in her hand.
And if it comes back the very next day
Then Ill understand - the writing on it
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such number, no such zone.

Ivory Palaces
The sender,
Of honourable men and women;
Affections,
For the ivory palaces are now here to stay;
And like the glad tidings of your love around,
For the desire of your heart is around you.
Blender, sender, vender, tender, fender, bender, gender!
Of honourable men and women;
For the ivory palaces are now here to stay.

My Baby Does Me
Words and music by queen
Turn it up a bit please
My baby
Baby does
My baby does me good
My baby does
My baby does me
My baby does me good
My lady
Understands
Understands me right
She understands me
She understands me
Understands me right
My baby cares
She really cares
She knows whats really right for me
Does me good then she hurts me so
She winds me up and then lets me go
Turns me on and then tells me no
Shes just a pussy cat
My baby loves me
My baby loves me
My baby cuffs me
One day she tells me that she cares
Another day she tells me she dont love me
She really really does me
Ooh
Now people do you believe this
Do you
Ooh
Oooh
She really really really really really really
Does me

Repressive Recklessness
Irresponsibility has been an enemy to me
I am not even close to where I should be
I find myself drifting like a log on the sea
Oh Mr. Responsibility hear my desperate plea
Irresponsibility has caused me excruciating pain
I wonder if I’ll ever recover and make some gain
I am like an air craft tumbling towards the ground
Oh Mr. Responsibility please help me turn around
Irresponsibility has been my down fall
Instead of progressing I have had to crawl
Irresponsibility has held me down for too long
I am terribly tired of singing the losers song
I take responsibility for my life today
Irresponsibility will never again hold sway
