The valour of gambling
One bets on horses, another on cards,
The third one on stocks, thus they push their tides.
Nor for food do they wage for they are rich
It is ego’s urge that propels them to do.
They want to see their prediction come true,
And when they come true, they beam,
With bearing for failures in between.
Hunger for ego is stronger than
Hunger for love and hunger for bread.
The valour is sweet, with loss though.

On a Small Touch of Hunger
A small touch of hunger sometimes is good
True hunger in truth never being good
While flase hunger is something for which to watch
Food being the great drug of our time
With which we anesthetize much more than hunger
Beware food as a drug which masks the deeper pain.

The hunger
the hunger thinks the rice
can chew both skin and bone
the hunger thinks it's nice
to eat although forlorn
the hunger thinks the corn
can swallow ears and eyes
deaf blind hunger born
self eaten within it dies
the hunger thinks the food
is just a body's unfair breath
the hunger knows the interlude
no food the body eats itself
the hunger thinks the body rotten
is just a place to survive and eat
the hunger of the lost and forgotten
makes its way to the last heart beat

Either way one is restless
Power of hunger in some is so deep
that it is insatiate with rich food.
Power of lust in some is likewise.
It does not rest with an able better half.
Hunger for power or sex in some is so,
And never deplete though fed, till the end.
Power of hunger, power of lust
and hunger for power, hunger for lust
are restless and endless.

Wanting, not the want is the cause.
Hunger for porridge, hunger for desserts,
Or hunger for wine makes one steal.
Hunger for shelter, hunger for power,
Or hunger for sex makes one steal.
Hunger dies not. So is the stealing.

I am not hungry
I am not hungry
Hunger is not mine
I am free from hunger.
Hunger is a butterfly
Come to it and welcome it
Wonderland you reach
Without hunger
You could not move an inch
And how you changed yourself
Hunger will tell
Wait a minute.

Stronger
Love is stronger than hunger and,
Your love is deep inside me;
Seeing is believeing but,
Many are those who crack kernels at thre seashore.
Every night on my bed,
I see you and i feel you;
But nothing from nothing still brings us emptiness!
So do drill my life with gladness.
I am joyful like a 70 year-old elephant,
And i am confident as a white dove on your love;
But true love is stronger than hunger itself.

Born With The Hunger
Hear the coyote howl
He's found his pray at last
In one moment of weakness
The chase is over so fast
He celebrates his kill
No mercy in his eyes
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
Midnight is on the prowl
And I hear it call my name
Danger lurks in the shadows
But it's all part of a game
Until I quench this thirst
I will not close these eyes
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
You and I, we're the same
We both carry this flame
To depths of our souls
Once the fever awakes
We can never escape
It's beyond our control
We're both born with the hunger
Oh with the hunger
Temptation bites your lip
One kiss ignites the fire
So begins the seduction
As we succumb to desire
Your body aches for more
Why are you so surprised
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger - it never dies
Never dies
When you're born with the hunger It never dies
When you're born with the hunger Oh, it never dies
He celebrates the kill
You're born with the hunger
It never dies

Nobody Dies Of Hunger
i have not heard
of someone
die of hunger, man always knows how to live
not by bread alone
he also knows how to steal a loaf of bread
and there is no more
prison term for
a loaf so to speak
for society knows
the worth of a loaf and
judges know
the justifications for
hunger,
rice, fish, bread, water,
morsels,
dog food, all these, satisfy hunger
but really
i think more have died not of hunger
but of fear
and yes, i agree with you
loneliness also kills
so which is which
that kills you
the fear of being
alone
and being alone and
lonely
strictly speaking, fear and loneliness
are two distinct
feelings, one is still to come
and by
a very long distance
it hits you right
in the head
and then
you fall like you were executed by nobody, no one,
except
by an empty space,
a false bullet shot by this badge of fraud,
extreme loneliness
the murderer again
whose name
is no one but yourself
what a pity!

This One Meal
This one meal mom just made
All this food she prepared
This one meal, I remembered
Mom and I had a deal
She said 'Just Eat It'
I stared at the bread I just bit
Watching mom throw away the leftover
Did she even think about the world hunger?
I tried to stop thinking about all this
I couldn't look at my full dish
I cannot hide it
It is too hard, ..
All the world hunger..
From which people die
All this food mom just threw away
Kidney Beans, Sausages, Potatoes...
If only she thought of what she was doing
Throwing away all this food
If only she thought
of what this food could do
save lives, prevent hunger..
Help people live their lives longer..

Prosperity and poverty
Hunger for food has been met;
Hunger for love has set in.
Hunger for power has been met;
Hunger for ethics has set in.
Hunger for lust has been met;
Hunger for faith has set in.
Thirst for knowledge has been met;
Thirst for innocence has set in.
Thirst for contacts has been met;
Thirst for concerns has set in.
Thirst for comfort has been met;
Thirst for compassion has set in.
Love, ethics, faith lost,
Innocence, concerns and compassion missing,
Despite food, power and lust,
Despite knowledge, comfort and compassion,
The soul will die a slow death
Long before the body succumbs.
The world will not die of poverty
But it will sure die of prosperity.

*thunder thunder
I love that thunder- yeah
Hunger hunger
You feed my hunger - yeah
Hunger hunger
**take it to the top my love
Lets take it to the top
With a fist way past the rest
Take it to the top
***you fit me like a glove, my love
You fit me like a glove
Be my friend my be-bop
Take it to the top my love
****krisco kisses, kisses
Never misses, misses
Krisco kisses, kisses
You can take it up, up and up
*(repeat)
**(repeat)
You fit me like a glove my love
My little puppet glove
Be my friend, my be-bop
Take it to the top, my love oh
Yeah
****(repeat)
Higher, higher
I love that thunder
You feed my hunger
Higher, higher
I love that thunder
You feed my hunger
Hunger, hunger
Hunger, hunger
Hunger, hunger
You fit me like a glove my love
You fit me like a glove
You fit me like a glove my love
You fit me like a glove

nOTHING
around his eyes
shades of black
when it looks at
you it is looking at
nothing
there is no sign of
life in the iris
there is only the stillness
of solitude
there is no whirlpool
of happiness
nothing is taken
nothing is given
there is doubt around each eye
there is that state of
unsatisfied hunger
despite the mountains of food
and lakes of drinks
there is this hunger for hunger itself
a longing eternal
there is this lightness that floats
like a cloud
this unbreakability of a
situation
there is this murmur of the femur
the chant of the brunt
nothing is full
yet nothing is empty still

From Hunger
Its never your fault, sweet mother
That I was raised in the days
Of the house-husband craze
But the taste of your loving udder
Was replaced by another
Dried cow puss and rubber
And now a hunger still thrives
A hunger that Ive never satisfied
Im fumbling through life
From hunger
I writhe for someone
With a place I can hide my eyes
Im searching for a mighty heart
Housed with a mighty crest
And from this base of operation
I would pacify the nation
But then who would rely
On a boob such as i
Ill be anyones twit
For a mouthful of tittie
And still that hunger will thrive
A hunger that Ive never satisfied
Im fumbling through life
From hunger
I writhe for someone
With a place I can hide my eyes
And Ive got big eyes
For someone
With a place I can hide these eyes
And that aint all

Hunger
Your stomach stretched thin
Your rib cage pronounced
A bewildered gaze tell your story
Where are your parents?
Where are your friends?
You are dying from hunger
And there are no outstretched hands
You were dealt losing cards
Although you played to win
Some will say it's because you sin
On your back you lay
Hands on belly
Dead but breathing still
What type of life you lived?
Have you ever smiled?
Ever laughed uncontrollably
Because you were filled with joy?
Ever been out on the town?
If you did it does not show
Your body does not tell
Of happy times
It says grief, loneliness, abandonment
And pain
Ever gazed at the sky?
Dreamed of greatness and significance?
A time without lack
Or bitterness?
Maybe so but your body disagrees
Hunger, hunger is what I see
What if you could dream again?
Hope again and laugh?
Would you?
Could you?
If you are going to die anyway
Why not just laugh?
Laugh uncontrollably
This is your last hour
Hunger wins
Cannot receive food now
Cannot digest
Thirst cannot be quenched now
So laugh
Laugh for the first time
Laugh!

Hunger in Botany Bay
Hunger lurks down the streets of Botany Bay;
The lonely child famished and peckish cries for food
None notices the child, for they’re preoccupied with the travesty of justice in Botany Bay
An observant vagabond pays heed to the child, and shares the lone piece of bread
The child ecstatic with what’s it got, runs to its hovel
The hovel where it was raised, is full of abjection and misery
The child runs to its mother, gives the lone piece of bread
The mother in tears, tears up the piece of bread
Gives a piece to the child to satiate its hunger
Keeps the other piece for the other slumbering child
For such is the love of the mother, careless about her own hunger
Gets lost in the agony of doubt, of how she will raise her children
In this world full of misery and pain.

I hunger for something no food gives
I HUNGER FOR SOMETHING NO FOOD GIVES
I hunger for something no food gives
Can I work my way into being loved?
Inside where my mother taught me
Most to be in joy with the world
I continue to hum.
In old age my father’s dreams and fears trouble me still,
But I go on and on
Writing the words- and waiting for them to be read.
How far away is all the distant glory I dreamed
And how small I am beside all the goodness of the years
God has given me.

Hungry
I hunger
lying on my bed
in the shaded dark.
I hunger for you,
my stomach
wrenching
and I verge
on crying
the need so intense.
I roll
sideways
in the bed,
I flail
my arms
lift and slam them down
by my side
as I try to pound
that hunger away.
I hunger for you.
I need.
I walk to the bathroom
and peer at the face
to see what need looks like.
It is gaunt.
It is sleepy eyed.
it is unflattering.
I whirl away;
can't look.
and I sit
down
head in hand;
can't go back to bed
and can't continue to just sit.
I'm already back in the room
my hand on the phone.
It rings.
I say
'Oh nothing
I was just thinking about you.'
