The sought is not what is got
Birds seek trees for their fruits
But end up with perking for its shade.
Man seeks spouse for her flesh
But rests contending with her shade

Shade
In the woods…
The shade
comes to listen
In the shade…
Veined leaves
and silver firs glisten
In the veins…
There courses
voices of the trees
In the trees…
The shade listens
then grieves
The shade comes…
The shade listens…
Then leaves…

The battle of life
Senses seek safety
Ego seeks identity
Libido propels both
Libido is basic energy.

Need heads to reality
Stale to her spouse,
Hot is she to others.
Weary of his spouse,
Curious is he of others.
She wants a jet.
He wants a search.
She needs a crush.
He seeks a fresh.
Temptation Island
Has for it been designed.

We Decided To Cut Some Trees
we planted the seeds together
we were thinking of fruits
for our children
we were thinking of the shade
where they can
in the future play
then the fruits in bounty came
mangoes loaded
and some water apples
shining on the twigs
the fruits ripen and some birds
came and ate them
the fruits ripen and some fell
on the ground and some
worms came and ate them
the trees get tired finally of the
seasons
flowering, fruiting, falling and
rotting and trying to
repeat the cycle all over
again
for years and years
we got old of waiting for something
new and exciting
we got bored of the fruits
the children of the neighbors
got married and left the place
we got old and tired and this day
we decided to cut the trees
some for the first time
we are too shaded
we want to see light come
we want to know what sunshine is
again, after all those years
of coldness and darkness under
the shady trees
perhaps, this is something new now
light and sun and another way to look
at our lives
something exciting something to open
to see blue skies to see the full moon
to feel warmth to let the worms sing
to see some precious stones
hidden all these years in our common paths

Sonnet: Grow Trees
The branches cut the wind fierce to a breeze;
The leaves break sunlight into chequered beams;
The shade of trees affords all travelers peace;
The wearied ones sleep ’neath the trees in dreams!
And birds too build their nests on branches high;
The squirrels eat their berries with great joy;
The trees make verdant all landscape near-by;
And attract rain in which children enjoy!
Trees make the earth greener and beautiful,
Adding oxygen to the air we breathe;
Preserve its trees, man! Nature is grateful;
The leaves and flowers can make us a wreath.
Trees are so useful to mankind always;
’midst good trees, men have spent their earthly days!

Love and Lust.
Beena,
I sought after you for your flesh
But you freely gave me your heart.
Now I feel shy to touch your flesh
Love from you ate away my lust.

Autumn is the last season.
In winter, I warmed myself
Against the fire of life.
In spring, I built myself
For the glory of life;
In summer, I cooled myself
Under the shade of life;
Now is autumn, I am myself
In the shadow of life.
After autumn I must rot.
Before that I must depart.

Passion fruit
Shy fruits are far sweeter
As they are hard to sight at.
Search for shy women
In whom passion is untapped

Sonnet: Nature Resurrects
The ‘curry-leaf’ tree bears berries again!
The black fruits look enticing, succulent;
And more will ripen with the August-rain,
A feast to the spotted-grey bird, God-sent.
The guava-trees are full of flow’rs and fruits!
They ripen fast each morn to squirrel’s squeak;
The landscape will have ripe fruits like a ‘Blitz, ’
Which many birds will then happily beak.
The rain can do such magic to the lands;
It resurrects the almost dead, dry trees;
Some fairies good are working with their wands!
The fauna seems as busy as the bees.
Thus, Nature sprinkles compassion on all!
Her heart melts to each creature’s plaintive call.

Ensure allowance
Some one played to her Violin,
Some, Key Board and some, drums.
Each one she liked to her heart.
Her spouse thinks she likes his song alone.
He wants her to listen to him alone
Faith leads to smooth sail.

Harmony is in miss-belief
An island had an equal number of men
and women.
Each man had affairs before and after
the matrimony.
Each man believed that his spouse never
had affairs.
Marital harmony thus is preserved.

Woo with tongue
Eyes are windows of man,
By which he seeks women.
It is ears for women,
By which they yield to men.
Man, be humorist and an admirer.

In The Shade Of The Green Wood
In the shade of the green wood
The holly does grow,
While in soft rays of sunlight
The wild roses glow,
And I smell their sweet perfume
That gently floats by,
Past trees strong and mighty
That reach to the sky,
The pathway of gold autumn
Leaves still remain,
As I walk through the green wood again.
In the shade of the green wood
This bright sunny morn,
That's so cool in the shadows
A new day is born,
All the birds in the treetops
Are singing for me,
Sweet songs of the summer
Which fill me with glee,
And know from its beauty
I never shall part,
For the green wood does live in my heart.
In the shade of the green wood
A soft gentle breeze,
Now caresses the branches
And whispers through trees,
A sound reassuring
Shall carry me to,
All the scenes that exist
In each marvellous view,
It's here that my spirit
Shall always now stay,
And the green wood is guiding my way.

Shade
by the shadow
of the mountain
i am taking
a shade
on the shade
of a tree
i take my
shade
on the shade
of my body
i am taking
my shade
on the shade
of my soul
the mountain
the tree and
my body
also take
their shade

Towards the tree for fruits and shade.

And abandon the tree when it suits.

Raise Your Head Fearlessly Above Shade!
Look at the Nature around,
whether trees and plants know or not,
Their roots surly know,
water that quench their thirst,
where they can find minerals for growth,
Are in this soil and in the Nature!
Animals live in nature's garden,
birds and butterfly,
Know where they can be happy!
O man, know for sure
tender plants with tender roots,
Need shade and care,
no tree can grow under shade of another tree,
Come out of shades and shadows,
Once roots become firm,
once you absorb essence wanted,
Raise your head fearlessly above shades,
Breath the fresh air Rain and sunshine,
feel the heat and cold to become free,
The potential is there in you,
Open the packet of reasoning and wisdom,
Never bury it,
What Almighty had embedded in your heart!
The fountain of infinite bliss is within you,
Never thereafter you feel thirsty,
More you can share the fruits,
With that sweet knowledge,
Whoever thirsty can sip it till his own roots grow,
You are done,
you have done!

Strangers Stir
In maiden contact with a maiden,
A touch of her on any part is erotic.
A kiss is terrible, even on
Her bloodless hair and nail.
Mere kiss on her very lips
Can bring you orgasm,
Which the copulation might fail to
When with one’s spouse
