The salvation
Religion is an organized unit,
A frozen thought of man,
Symbolized by temples and churches,
To catch hold of masses,
Who respond with hopes and fears
And in the process
They get solidification
And not any salvation.

Can Someone Prove That There's A God?
We've established the idea that there has to be a god,
Gave churches, synagogues, mosques and temples the nod,
We have fought many battles over which religion is right,
Whichever side won, always celebrated with great delight.
We still can't get together because their religion is wrong,
A sin or a sacrilege for sure that has gone on far too long,
The only thing we can't deny is that, we eventually die,
No shortcuts or euthanasia and religious types wont say why.
Unfortunately what I write here will not change a thing,
The UN is a fine example as they try to pull all the strings,
If they only had the guts to say, all religions are wrong,
We would probably be better off and maybe all get along,

I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its Churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world.

To visit templesTo visit temples
I visit temples and conduct rites
More to please the priest than the deities.
I visit temples and do sacrifices
More to bribe the God than cleanse myself.
I visit temples and do worships
More to fake being pious than be so.
I visit temples and give offerings
To make clean myself of sins for fresh ones.

Politics and institutions
The area marked becomes a unit.
The air captured becomes a unit.
The water canned becomes a unit.
Bound by the unit, the contents struggle.
Anything institutionalized,
Politics will creep in inevitably.

Sunday Morning
Sunday morning
Cries of hipocritic
Pastors awaken me
They disturb my sleep,
I can't get the weekend rest
With these Churches
All over the streets.
Practice as you preach
You can't fool me,
Tell that to the fools
Who come to listen to
fools like you.
Salvation is in Christ
I know where to find him
He lives right in my heart.
And my uprightness keeps
him there.
Religion is love,
Love for humanity,
And for God our maker,
Practice it in your heart,
Not in your mouth,
And don't disturb my quietness,
It is my religion.

To save manpower
Life is ugly; we don’t know why.
Confusion shrouds; fear engulfs.
Fear for the Unknown unfolds.
Beliefs and dogmas catch us.
Beliefs are imposed on our fears.
Beliefs are only an escape route.
It is mere a pain killer.
Religion becoming ritual,
We waste time pursuing religion.
Religion shed, manpower is saved.

The End of Good Works
Many souls religious at their best, will surely fail their final test,
A test that man created friend, where good works are their end,
Ignoring The Words of The Son, God’s Only, True Chosen One,
Christ’s very words, “It is finished”; His Salvation is diminished.
Religion is man’s way to God, from down upon the earth’s sod,
In their works, they add to faith, ignoring Christ’s Saving Grace,
Letting religion guide their way, ignoring what Christ has to say,
Final words spoken by The Son, words from Him, for everyone.
Every religion is created by man; a salvation, not of God’s plan,
Led by the one who lied to Eve, so the religious, he will deceive,
Creating religions formed by men, of which, God shall condemn,
When Christ judges every nation, not by works but His salvation.
God, from above, sent His Lamb, Jesus Christ, The Great “I Am”.
To bring salvation to every land, Truth, all men must understand,
The Lord, who died on a tree, finishing salvation for you and me,
As Christ alone is the only way, no matter what religion does say.
All, who ignore the words of Christ, shall never enter Eternal Life,
As Christ alone paid the price, so that man could enter Paradise,
Good works won’t work friend, as many shall see come the end,
Ignoring Christ’s words on Calvary, will only bring wrath eternally.

I also don't have organized religion on Pern. I figured - since there were four holy wars going on at the time of writing - that religion was one problem Pern didn't need.

Religion Of The Heart
His hair was Bible black, face like a priest
His fingers clutched the precious box and silent as a dream
He hid behind the dark sunglasses
You caught your breath
You thought he was beautiful
You didnt hear his silent scream
As he spread the dead mans ashes
Your always trying to find your worth
In the eyes of someone new
You may not think you need this baby but I think you do
You need religion of the heart, religion of the heart
(deep in your system)
Youre just searching in the dark
For a reason to believe
You need religion of the heart
You raise your glass, you drink their wine
But youre still thirsty all the time
No miracles tonight, and youll skip the midnight masses
Itll be okay in the cool clear, bright light of the day
But you just seem so scattered
As though nothing mattered baby
Youre always trying to heal yourself in someone elses skin
Turn the thieves out of the temple baby and let it in
You need religion of the heart, religion of the heart
(deep in your system)
Youre just searching in the dark
For a reason to believe
You need religion of the heart
Oh, you think that I am only joking, and it all comes down to nothing
And Im just talking to your fear but I m not
No, Im not, and you stand in the field of fire
You need religion of the heart, religion of the heart
(deep in your system)
Youre just searching in the dark
For a reason to believe
You need religion of the heart
Religion of the heart

In Truth
what if salvation,
and evolution,
were the same process...
which we in our weaknesses have labeled...
but in truth,
the process of becoming human!

Ditch The Religion
Ditch religion and come to Christ, the Only Way to Eternal Life,
God’s single Way, for all men, is that they must be Born Again,
From the words of The Creator, Who is both Judge and Savior,
Who desires all men to be saved, upon the path He has paved.
God’s path is narrow, not wide, and in His Word we must abide,
It is the Lord’s Word alone, that comes from His Eternal Throne,
With great Power and Authority, over each man’s eternal destiny,
God’s Authority not that of man, which provides salvation’s plan.
In Christ alone, we have salvation, without man adding revelation,
Things not revealed by God at all, but sadly tainted by man’s fall,
Added instruction and men’s rules, commands by religious fools,
Men whose religion is their god, not led by Christ’s staff and rod.
Christ is the Author of Salvation, the Living Word and Revelation,
God’s final Revelation revealed to us, in His Son, our Lord Jesus,
For religion God does not need, as it’s His Word men must heed,
God’s Word, revealed to everyone, fulfilled, in God’s Eternal Son.
Religion is lost man’s way to God, but God saved us on this sod,
Through just one perfect sacrifice, Christ, who paid sin’s full price,
Our religious works were diminished, as Christ said “it is finished.”
Completing salvation for every man, as one accepts His only plan.
