Willingly
Willingly I gave you my heart
and watched as you trample it into the ground.
You said that all was fair in love and war,
but I wasn’t out to do battle with any kindred soul.
I gave my love willingly,
you took it readily,
and soon as my back was turned,
you began to play around.
You made our love a battleground
with your cheating and lies.
You think it didn’t notice
and you wouldn’t get the blame.
I can’t walk out on you
and you know the reason why.
You are that love of my lifetime
and if you go, I’ll surely die.
So willingly, I put up with all
the misery you give to me.
Hoping every day,
you’ll see the error in your ways
and you will stop hurting me

Here I am - send me
There before the beginning, 'Send me', You said
choosing to go the cross and die in my stead.
There in the garden great drops of blood you sweat
so determined to follow the pathway set.
'Father, not My will but Yours be done' You said.
Knowing all things before You still went ahead.
Carrying Your cross up Golgotha's hill You went
and there as a sacrifice Your life was spent.
For You climbed that steep hill to die in my stead.
On the cross of Calvary Your blood was shed.
Whilst hanging on that tree You took all the blame
and paid the penalty for my sinful shame.
'My God, why have You forsaken me', You cried
and then You laid down Your life for me and died.
It was for my transgressions that You hung there
and upon Your body my punishment bear.
Willingly You bore my sin and paid the price.
Willingly You gave Your life in sacrifice.
Willingly taking my infirmities
Willing bearing my iniquities.

You're confusing product with process. Most people, when they criticize, whether they like it or hate it, they're talking about product. That's not art, that's the result of art. (Naughty Poems) The Man In The Street
I am screaming
At the man in the street
I am warning him that there
Are others out there who have
The money who can deceive you
To make you worse than you are or
Make you the princess who gladdens
Our long suffering eyesights
I am hammering sense into the hard
Of hearing brother in the streets
I am reasoning with him
To take more care of your interests
And the welfare of the kids

I think some parents now look at a youngster failing as the final thing. It's a process, and failure is part of the process. I would like it if the teacher and the parents would connect more. I think that used to be, but we're losing a little bit of that right now.
