The Belated Joy
Of the lot, Preetha was the youngest,
The fairest, the most dignified.
Now I heard she had had liking for me.
I wish I knew it ere I left the arena.
We go ignorant of the love
Someone has nurtured for us,
And leaving the pavilion,
We feel loss when we learnt of it.

Sometimes
You're leaving
You're leaving me now
I'm wishing
I wish this would hurt
But i suffer
I can't feel the pain
Sometimes, sometimes
I wish i could cry
I heard it
I heard about love
I gave you
The feelings i could
You left me
I know you were right
Sometimes
I wish i could cry

I Have Learned
I’ve learnt to understand that….
A prohibitive degree of inner freedom –
Not a caprice but a strain.
Up to the end it will remain!
I’ve learnt to understand that….
The tales we dream up
We write out of our own head.
And…. we should cherish that!
I’ve learnt to break up the rules,
So that no one should be hurt.
Using my own tools,
I would like to avoid the dirt.
I’ve learnt to believe that….
There are no ideal relations.
They can be sometimes a brief,
Very often with a frustration.
I’ve learnt to feel that….
Striving for harmony I love disharmony.
Loving in everything the truth
The lies sometimes sooth.
I’ve learnt to be patient,
Though not everyone knows it.
It’s better to be absent
Than to throw a stone into a shit.
I've learnt not to be afraid of any competition,
There is only right or wrong choice,
There is only someone's ambition,
There is only strong or weak voice.
I've learnt to understand that....
Love can't be found where it doesn't live,
If love exists it can't be hidden.
A true love can't be forbidden.
I’ve learnt to understand that….
Love can't be found where it doesn't exist,
Love can't be hidden where it is.
A true love you can persist.

Libertatis Sacra Fames
ALBEIT nurtured in democracy,
And liking best that state republican
Where every man is Kinglike and no man
Is crowned above his fellows, yet I see,
Spite of this modern fret for Liberty,
Better the rule of One, whom all obey,
Than to let clamorous demagogues betray
Our freedom with the kiss of anarchy.
Wherefore I love them not whose hands profane
Plant the red flag upon the piled-up street
For no right cause, beneath whose ignorant reign
Arts, Culture, Reverence, Honour, all things fade,
Save Treason and the dagger of her trade,
And Murder with his silent bloody feet.

It's Love...
She came like a silent breeze
After the soft drizzle that made me wet
My breathe was colder than ever
And I knew my Love was blooming...
My heart composed a beat of rhythm
I heard it murmer the sacred chants of Love
Don't know from where it learnt
May be its just like a baby crying at birth...
Love is just a feel of re-birth
A better feel than flying over the green dales
During the twilight hours, with the wind
In the company of silence and innocence...

i need to know her real name, if she obliges
and from what university did she earn

Starting Again
Music: Barry Manilow
Lyrics: Marty Panzer
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And it started again And I meant every word
And I liked what I said
And I liked what I heard
And I started to think
I could think about starting again
We were laughing again
Over memories and wine
And the years in between
Didn't seem a long time
When I smiled she knew why
In a while it was starting again
And I started to think I could feel again
All the bad times seemed unreal
When I looked in her eyes
The cheating, the lies,
The things that were wrong seemed far behind
And I started to think I could care again
And my fears all disappeared
When she called me by name
I knew that she'd changed
The flaws were all gone
The Saint remained
But it started again when I asked her to stay
And she said, "There's this friend who's in town just today"
And she really felt bad, but she had to be leaving again
And she left me again as she'd left me before
Still pretending she cared when we kissed at the door
But I saw in her eyes that the lies were all starting again
Just when I started to feel again
When all the bad times seemed unreal
When it all seemed so right and I thought that tonight
If she said she cared, she really might
Just when my fears disappeared again
And I heard what I wanted to hear
It all started again
And I knew what that meant
It wasn't the start
It was really the end

Love is a fire whose flame doth burn unseen
Love is a fire whose flame doth burn unseen
A wound whose aching smart we do not feel;
Contentment discontent with its own weal;
A teasing pain, though neither deep nor keen:
It is not liking more than liking e'en;
Wandering alone 'midst crowds that seem unreal;
Not to content one's self with Heaven's own seal;
A care that only gain by loss doth mean:
'Tis to be captured with one's own consent;
The victor to the vanquished here must serve;
Keep faith with one who on our death is bent:
How can its fickle favour e'er preserve
In human hearts consistence of intent,
Since to itself contrarious Love doth swerve?

Losing My Virginity (by Sally)
I lost my virginity
Behind the school pavilion,
I can't remember his name,
It was just another game
That kids get up to,
I didn't feel any shame
'Cos all the others did the same
Behind the school pavilion.
It didn't amount to much,
It's not as if he was 'one in a million'!
He was probably called Mick or Harry,
Nigel, John, or even Larry.
The psychologists
Would like to make a theory out of this,
But I reckon they're taking the piss,
There wasn't even a romantic kiss
Behind the school pavilion.

Shes Leaving
Shes leaving, shes leaving
Everybody knows
Shes leaving, shes leaving
And I feel like such a fool
She left me standing here just two feet tall
I just dont know how she could do it
In front of our friends and all
She had better things to do and bigger plans
I thought we could make it with just us two
But I guess we cant
cause she cant
And Im only one man
But I love her
Its winter
Suddenly its winter
And I feel so cold inside
Its different
It couldve been so different
If only she didnt feel that need to lie
Whats the matter girl
Didnt you think I was that strong
That you couldnt tell me
What was going on

I Heard It Through The Grapevine
I bet you're wondering how I knew.
Ah, what you're plans to make me blue.
With some other guy you knew before.
Between the two of us, you know I love you more.
It took me by surprise I must say, when I found out yesterday.
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Not much longer would you be mine. (Not much longer would you be mine)
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
And I'm just about to lose my mind.
I know a man ain't supposed to cry.
But these tears I can't hold inside.
Losin' you would end my life you see.
'Cause you mean that much to me.
You could have told me yourself,
Oh, that you love someone else.
Instead I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Not much longer would you be mine. (Not much longer would you be mine)
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Oh, and I am, and I am just about lose my mind.
People say believe half of what you see.
Oh, and none of what you hear.
Whoa, I jus' can't help being confused.
If it's true please tell me dear.
Do you plan to let me go
For the other guy you left me for

Take Me Away
this time what I want is you
there is no one else
who can take your place
this time you burn me with your eyes
you see past all the lies
you take it all away
I've seen it all
it was never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you
take me away
take me away
I've got nothing left to say
just take me away
I try to make my way to you
but still I feel so lost
I don't know what else I can do
cause I've seen it all
it was never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you
take me away
take me away
I've got nothing left to say
just take me away
don't give up on me yet
don't forget who I am
I know I'm not there yet
but don't let
me stay here alone
I've seen it all and it's never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you
I've seen enough and it's never enough
it keeps leaving me needing you
take me away
take me away
I've got nothing left to say
just take me away
take me away
take me away

Never Knew Love
John paul & derek bordeaux
Your love is warm as a ray of sun
Touching me when the morning comes
So lucky am I to have you by my side
Forever
(chorus)
Never knew love could feel this way
Never knew love could do this to me
Never knew love could feel this way
Never knew love could do this to me
Thought I had it all in the palm of my hand
Darkness had fallen on me and I didnt quite understand
Then came you you brightened up my days yeah
Forever
(repeat chorus)
Oh I know
Never knew love never knew love
Could feel this way
Could do this to me
Could feel this way
Could do this to me
I never knew your love
Could do this to me
Could feel this way
(repeat chorus to fade)

C'est la Vie
what can you do
when the one you love is gone
there's nothing left for me here
I'm leaving at my next dawn
I need out of here
never thought I'd say it
I used to love this place
bit I've been love bit
now it's over though
why can't I see
he's now gone
'twas never meant to be
what can I do
I don't know what to do
but you know C'est la vie
this I should've knew
tell me why
what did I do to you
why did you go
this I wish I knew
it'll be okay
but for now ring your gong
and I'll just sit and listen
to this same sad song
you knew how I felt
nothing I could say
would ever make you
want to stay
face the facts
I loved you
but you only
ask who
you'd say I was crazy
for loving you like I do
because you say
'no one would ever love you'
but my dear
this your wrong
can't you hear it
their playing our song
so in just it'll never change
but in a way I'm glad
because I can't stand
to see you sad.

A Father's Tears (Free Verse)
Consummate pain
Like a cruel wrench
Gripped his heart
And crushed, it bled
A father's tears.
No words define
His anguished grief
A wretched loss
His own son...
His seed.
The baby he carried
In his arms
And nurtured
In paternal love
Now broken, scarred
A shriveled man
His father's eyes
Now bleed.
He would take him back
To be his child
Return him safely
To his past
No war could touch him
Hidden there
His eyes see through
An hourglass.
My boy, my son!
What have they done?
Your life a mangled mess
What's left to do?
These father's tears
Will not replace
The boy, the man
That I once knew!

Unico Hijo
what you love is the gift
the giver has gone away taking away what
you want to keep inside you
leaving you empty and despised
but you must let it be
letting go, because what you care most
now, is the gift of love
this unico hijo, this, one, who is with you
in flesh and blood
he too shall take what you have
what you keep inside you
you open like hands and he will grasp
what love is there you have reserved
for tomorrow
he too shall take your time, your essence,
your future even, and willingly you shall give them all
all the love left
all the fortunes that you may still take
you shall give them all
this unico hijo, one, who is with you
he has his father's eyes, and even smell
but you love him
he is the reason why your life moves on
why you must keep in touch
even go on top
and still be defeated, well, he is the one,
this unico hijo, he is the one, the only one left
your reason
and it does not matter now, if the giver is gone
and what is left is his eyes
staring at you, this gift, grabbing you again
this time, you are more than willing
you have learned to die and be dignified
standing tall
in love's greater name

Jacob
Jacob is our youngest boy
Legos is his favorite toy
He loves his twin brother, Sam
He calls every lunch meat, ham
A quiet boy from the Buckeye state
Toy cars races on the floor is great
Never much liking to talk on the phone
He's eight now and really has grown
He's temperament is very mild
And we love our little man child

Human’s health.
Unless you make yourself of doing things
You have to do when it ought to be done
Irrespective of your liking for it,
To alleviate others’ sufferings
You haven’t learnt anything in schools.
This is the first lesson the child must be taught..
This is the last one the adult must have learnt.
Knowledge and skills developed without this
Will not save the human race from decay.
Building ships must include building life-boats.
building planes must include making parachoots.
