The Background Must Subdue
The heavy music
Will drown the singer's voice.
The heavy costume
Will mask the woman's grace.
Don't hire a big wig
To release a book of you.
You as the author
Will then be immersed.

Heavy Music (Part 1)
Ahh come on with me baby
We're gonna have a good time
Don't you ever listen to the radio
When the big bad beat comes on
I know you gotta dig it
I know you can't stop it
Cause the bottom comes on so strong
Talkin 'bout (heavy music),
Oh I got to have it yeah (heavy music),
I got to love it now
Deeper (heavy music)
Deeper (heavy music)
Baby don't you get a kick, from it yeah
Dig it (heavy music)
Dig it baby (heavy music)
Dancin to that heavy music (music) What I sing to the heavy music (music)
Yeah a little bit deeper now, alright
Don't you ever feel like goin' insane
When the drums begin to pound
Ain't there ever been a time in your life
You couldn't believe what the band is puttin' down, about
(repeat chorus)
Yeah, alright, goin' in, goin in now
Oh yeah I'm goin' in now
Come on come on with me baby
Come on come on with me baby
Come on come on with me
Goin' deeper
Deeper deeper oh oh oh

Richard was in heavy, heavy costume, he could hardly sit, you know, and I turned up and they put me in two layers of silk, so I played him much lighter - you know, floating around in a pair of slippers, a bit of a hippy.

Heavy Metal Universe
We're the masters of the wind
We're demons left in howl
we're the undefeated warriors
we have heard the call
We're the keepers and the leaders
of the only thing we love
we're the saviours
and protectors from above
In your sky there is no limit
and masters we have none
heavy metal is the only one
'cause its heavy metal universe
an it's never going down
flying 'cross the universe
we're heavy metal bound
we're heavy metal bound
With a burning hot desire
like a supersonic blast
we have come to show the world
that we have come to last
There ain't no way to stop us
and you'll never kill our pride
'cause it's not only music
it's a chosen way of life
And our world has got no borders
and in union we all stand
'cause heavy metal is our promissed land
'cause it's a heavy metal universe
with a heavy metal sound
masters of the thunder
shake you to the ground
It's a heavy metal bomber
and it's never going down
flying 'cross the universe
we're heavy metal bound
we're heavy metal bound
See my hands held to the sky
let me rock you 'till forever
raise your voice we're soaring high
swear allegance now or never
burning up we build a flame
as we speak the oath togheter
metal is our way forever...
... way forevermore
And our world has got no borders
and in union we all stand
'cause heavy metal is our promissed land
'cause it's a heavy metal universe
with a heavy metal sound
masters of the thunder
shake you to the ground
it's a heavy metal bomber
and it's never going down
flying 'cross the universe
we're heavy metal bound
we're heavy metal bound

Heavy Load
Orbison/price
At times it seems too rough, things just drag me down
Its hard to find the strength to just one more round
When I need help, I know where to go
cos youre the best friend that I could ever know
Being taught the words from you .... from what is true
Someone to share the pain that Im going through
And its a heavy load that I bear and its a heavy crown that I wear
As I travel down this road, its a heavy load, its a heavy load
Its a heavy load that I bear and its a heavy crown that I wear
So help me one more time, its such an uphill climb
As I travel down this road, its a heavy load
Lord its a heavy load, lord its a heavy load, lord its a heavy load
Lord its a heavy load, lord its a heavy load....

Despair Is Heavy
DESPAIR IS HEAVY
Despair is heavy
And I am heavier than I have been in a long time-
The cold and the dark and the damp
Also weigh me down.
I still can move
But more slowly now
And with much more aching.
When will the minor pain become paralysis?
And when will the weight kill me?
Perhaps I am done forever
And will never move again
And the weight will take me all the way down
So low I will not even be aware anymore of my despair.
It is a heavy day now
And I am too heavy a person
And Heaviness is in the air
And rules the Universe
And everything is sinking down
And falling into its own meaninglessness.
Life is heavy
I am heavy
Everything is heavy now and getting heavier.

Slow Like Honey
You moved like honey in my dream last night
Yeah, some old fires were burning
You came near to me and you endeared to me
But you couldnt quite discern me
Does that scare you? Ill let you run away
But your heart will not oblige you
Youll remember me like a melody
Yeah, Ill haunt the world inside you
And my big secret - gonna win you over
Slow like honey, heavy with mood
Ill let you see me, Ill covet your regard
Ill invade your demeanor
And youll yield to me like a scent in the breeze
And youll wonder what it is about me
Its my big secret - keeping you coming
Slow like honey, heavy with mood
Though dreams can be deceiving
Like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving
When fantasy and reality lie too far apart
So I stretch myself across, like a bridge
And I pull you to the edge
And stand there waiting
Trying to attain
The end to satisfy the story
Shall I release you?
Must I release you?
As I rise to meet my glory
But my big secret
Gonna hover over your life
Gonna keep you reaching
When Im gone like yesterday
When Im high like heaven
When Im strong like music
cuz Im slow like honey, and
Heavy with mood

This Is My Voice
This is my voice,
Sad, prolonged, fever pitched,
With some intermittent turbulence
In between a concentrated discourse
But
Still in a slow, smooth, sailing like
A canoe on a very clear silent running river
And
Some rapids, and rocks somewhere, may distort,
This voice
Of mine,
Or
At the edge for which a waterfall rages,
This
Voice
Of
Mine,
May sound like a violent fall of a hundred heavy waters,
Not a drip, but a hundred heavy, heavy falling waters,
As though the whole word is falling down
On your
Shoulder,
This is my voice, sad, on a prolonged agony,
But somehow, when tickled may move into
A mystery, not discounting the possibility of
An ecstasy,
A fantasy,
And you, my love, my beautiful reader, may hear this voice
Speaking to you in a hush of silence,
This is my voice; hear it for what it is, that is all that I ask of you,
I am myself speaking. I am real, this voice of mine.
Listen to me.

Today, A Phantom. (A Triolet)
Heavy it lays upon my heart,
that today is a morrows past,
what there is now, an end, -a start,
heavy it lays upon my heart,
tragic mask when does break apart,
bleak, oh! Gloomy shadows it cast.
Heavy it lays upon my heart,
that today is a morrows past.

Heavy Heart
Heavy heart think of yesterday
And you're torn apart
Thinking of the ways it was easier to smile
More than today love grew wild
Heavy heart like a perfect stranger
You make it hard
Taking all the blame - still you hear the sound
Calling your name - troubles coming down
Too heavy
Turn it around
It's pressing me down
Heavy heart
This time I find
It weighs on my mind
Heavy heart
It's just like you to take it all so far
Then you feel abused and wonder who you are
Everything you've done - anything you start
Can turn and run
Ain't it true - it's only just a stage
Gotta give it room - start an empty page
Get back in the game - but do it your way
You don't have to play so heavy
Turn it around
It's pressing me down
Heavy heart
This time I find
It weighs on my mind
Heavy heart
When your heart is strong it leads you on
But when it breaks you
It devastates you for so long
Turn it around
It's pressing me down
Heavy heart
This time I find
It weighs on my mind
Heavy heart
Turn it around
It's pressing me down
Heavy heart
This time I find
It weighs on my mind
Heavy heart

Heavy Connection
In the land of a thousand dances
I dance with you
I was out I was taking my chances
When dreams came true
When you came into my dream
Like from a whisper to a scream
And its a real heavy connection
Its just a real heavy connection
Its a real heavy connection
Lalalala......
I remember when I got your message in amsterdam
I was going through my letters
And found a picture-postcard of the reeperbahn
When you came into the room
Not too late and not too soon
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Lalalala......
And you came into my dreams
From a whisper to a scream
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Its just a real heavy connection
Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Lalalala.....
Baby, baby, baby
I cant stop this rainbow
Touching my soul
I cant stop this rainbow
In my soul
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby

Heavy Rain (Not Again)
Heavy rain
Not again
Washing on the line
(Not mine)
Clean the car
How brave you are
Heavy rain
What a pain
Try the beach
It's within reach
The lawn to mow
Where did the sun go
Heavy rain
What a bane
Walk today
That's the way
A bike ride
Why stay inside
Heavy rain
Not again

The Pale Woman
I spoke to the pale and heavy-lidded woman, and said:
O pale and heavy-lidded woman, why is your cheek
Pale as the dead, and what are your eyes afraid lest they speak?
And the woman answered me: I am pale as the dead,
For the dead have loved me, and I dream of the dead.
But I see in the eyes of the living, as a living fire,
The thing that my soul in triumph tells me I have forgot;
And therefore mine eyelids are heavy, and I raise them not,
For always I see in the eyes of men the old desire,
And I fear lest they see that I desire their desire.

Heavy Metal Hamsters
There are some fellows soft and mellow
Sitting in the field and play like hell
No one knows the way it goes
But all the songs they play they sound so well
Tonight we go to see the heavy metal hamsters
It must feel nice to be a heavy metal hamster
Nothing sets you free like our heavy metal hamsters
A 20th century fox came by
A gold tipped cigarette high in his jaws
Contracts, pds, nose-bags, tv-shows
And everything with no remorse
Things are settled now for our heavy metal hamsters
Fame up to your brows, oh heavy metal hamster
A previously unknown lifestyle heavy metal hamster
The sweet taste of success is strong
And everything inside goes wrong you see
With coloured furs, sunglasses
Tons of nuts to eat, they dont feel free
What is wrong with our heavy metal hamster?
Look what they have done our heavy metal hamsters
Where is the field to run for our heavy metal hamsters
Some things are left undone for our heavy metal hamsters

Waitin' For Superman
Asked you a question
I didn't need you to reply
Is it gettin' heavy?
But they'll realize
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy
As can be
Is it overwhelming
To use a crane to crush a fly?
It's a good time for Superman
To lift the sun into the sky
'Cause it's gettin' heavy
Well I thought it was already as heavy
As can be
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on
Best they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgot them
Or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy as can be.
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on
Best they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgot them
Or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift

A Woman
this must be a woman
, she is supposed to be an old woman
in her ragged..printed cotton cloth..plain...cheap
but clean
she is carryı ng something in her big heavy sack
on shoulder
it must be valuable for her
what is it
no one knows
no one guesses
but it must be something
she is weary of carrying...may be her life
but what is it
how old is she
spring is near..ahead
some trees are early blossommed
look at the plum tree over there
in her bridal
the woman looks at some dry bushes
some flowers are already bloomed
will the bushes green too
the old woman cannot sigh even her grief
oh...anatolı an woman
how many troubles you bear
is it the end ofthe green road now
though you are alone
you coped wı th them
you were just there
sitting on the wall of your shelter as home
relaxing...resting
alll the years on your shoulder
bending your back years the heavy years
where have you gone
where were tyou walking to
or intended to
years heavy years
were you a spirit or a a sacred holy ghost
haunting my dreams

The Right Mask
One night a poem came up to a poet
From now on, it said, you must wear a mask.
What kind of mask? asked the poet.
A rose mask, said the poem.
I've used it already, said the poet,
I've exhausted it.
Then wear the mask that's made out of
a nightingale's song, use that mask.
Oh, it's an old mask, said the poet,
it's all used up.
Nonsense, said the poem, it's the perfect mask,
still, try on the god mask,
now that mask illuminates heaven.
It's a tight mask, said the poet,
and the stars crawl about in it like ants.
Then try on the troubador's mask, or the singer's mask,
try on all the popular masks.
I have, said the poet, but they fit so easily.
The poem was getting impatient,
it stamped its feet like a child,
it screamed. Then try on your own face,
try the one mask that terrifies,
the mask only you could possibly use,
the mask only you could wear out.
The poet tore at his face til it bled,
this mask? he yelled, this mask?
Yes, said the poem, yes.
But the poet was tired of masks,
he had lived too long with them,
he snatched at the poem and stuck it in his face.
Its screams were muffled, it wept, it tried to be lyrical,
it wriggled into his eyes and mouth.
Next day his friends were afraid of him,
he looked so distorted.
Now it's the right mask, said the poem, the right mask.
It clung to him lovingly and never let go again.
