Shed the myth.

It is a myth to think that
The good will beget the good
And the bad will beget the bad,
Where one eats the other to live.

The theory of Karma

What you did will be done to you.
The virtue to beget the virtue.
The evil to beget the evil
Birth gives birth and it rotates.
It is the karma theory.

The one hurt another.
Is the due settled by this act
Or is a due created by this act?
Whether the sin is remitted
Or the sin is committed?

Fragments - Lines 0429 - 0438

To beget and rear a man is easier than to put good sense
Inside him. No one yet has ever contrived a way
To make the senseless sensible and good men out of bad.
If the sons of Asklepios had this gift from the god,
To work a cure on badness and men's infatuate wits,
Many and great would be the fees they earned.
And if understanding could be fashioned and placed in a man,
Never would a good man's son have turned out bad,
By heeding the words of sensible counsel. But as it is, no teaching
Will ever serve to make the bad man good.

It is in your hand to produce novels.
How they’re received aren’t in your hands.

I Do Not Want To See Religion Dancing With Politics

so ugly to look at
as religion is not a good
dancer always stepping
on the shoes of
politics

i abhor them getting married
at people's expense
for soon
what they shall beget
shall be
hardheaded children of the
self chosen gods
and spoiled lectures
about heaven
and hell

What General Has A Good Army

WHAT General has a good army in himself, has a good army;
He happy in himself, or she happy in herself, is happy,
But I tell you you cannot be happy by others, any more than you can
beget or conceive a child by others.

Chaos

I pour in a little
And a lot pours out
What goes in is good stuff
Fresh colorful serene
What comes out is bile
Bitter toxic and detesting!
I was beget in violence
And could not befriend peace
Worldly order makes little sense
In chaos I find bliss!

A Song Bewailing The Time Of Christmas, So Much Decayed In England

Christmas is my name, for have I gone, have I gone, have I gone,
Have I gone without regard;
Whereas great men by flocks they be flown to Londonward
Where in pomp and pleasure do waste
That which Christmas had wont to feast,
Welladay!
Houses where music was wonted to ring,
Nothing but bats and owls now do sing.
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Christmas bread and beef is turned into stones, into stones, into stones,
Into stones and silken rags.
And Lady Money, it doth sleep, it doth sleep, it doth sleep,
It doth sleep in misers' bags.
Where many gallants once abound,
Nought but a dog and shepherd is found,
Welladay!
Places where Christmas revels did keep
Are now become habitations for sheep.
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Pan, the shepherds' god, doth deface, doth deface, doth deface,
Doth deface Lady Ceres' crown;
And tillages doth decay, doth decay, doth decay,
Doth decay in every town;
Landlords their rents so highly enhance
That Piers the ploughman barefoot doth dance,
Welladay!
Farmers that Christmas would entertain
Hath scarcely withal themselves to maintain.
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Go to the Protestant, he'll protest, he'll protest, he'll protest,
He will protest and boldly boast;
And to the Puritan, he is so hot, he is so hot, he is so hot,
He is so hot he will burn the roast.
The Catholic good deeds will not scorn,
Nor will he see poor Christmas forlorn,
Welladay!
Since holiness no good deeds will do,
Protestants had best turn Papists too.
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Pride and luxury doth devour, doth devour, doth devour,
Doth devour housekeeping quite,
And beggary doth beget, doth beget, doth beget,
Doth beget in many a knight.
Madam, forsooth, in coach must she reel
Although she wear her hose out at heel,
Welladay!
And on her back were that for her weed
That would both me and many other feed,
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Briefly for to end, here I find, here I find, here I find,
Here I find such great vacation
That some great houses do seem to have, seem to have, seem to have,
For to have some great purgation:
With purging pills such effects they have showed
That out of doors their owners they have spewed.
Welladay!
And when Christmas goes by and calls,
Nothing but solitude and naked walls.
Welladay, welladay, welladay, where should I stay?

Philomel's cottages are turned into gold, into gold,
Into gold for harboring Joan;
And great men's houses up for to hold, up for to hold,
Up for to hold, make great men moan;
But in the city they say they do live
Where gold by handfuls away they do give,
Welladay!
And, therefore, thither I purpose to pass,
Hoping at London to find the Golden Ass.
I'll away, I'll away, I'll away, I'll no longer stay.

Live-In Relation Leads To Solation

The courtship serves that they know each other.
The marriage entails living together.
Marriages fail from successful courtships.
Living together cuts space for movements.

Divorce is a cumbersome exercise.
Sometimes, pounds of flesh are extracted.
To circumvent the divorce from marriage,
Live-in relationships have been brought in.

In live-in relation, man and woman
Live together, having conjugal love,
And beget children with all sanctity.
It may or not lead to marriage later.

In certain cases, living-in is had
As a stop gap arrangement for marriage,
Living-in is as good as a married life.
It can serve being a good test drive test.

To end marriage is to sell a house.
To end living-in is to end a lease.
Live -in relation is easy to break
Before marriage or later from staleness

‘Till death do us part' has been outdated.
Living-in is a step before wedding,
Which is still preferred as it gives one joy
Of going public with the relationship.

With less commitment, live-in relation
Is easy to break and easy to acquire.
Change of partners drives out monotony.
After sexual life, isolation will set in.

Inundation

What do I have here
In my mobile?
Jokes, Quotes,
Poems and Prose.
Words of response
Buttered with humour
Candour, warps of ‘dear’
And a seemingly friendly
Call to me:
I being his ‘buddy’.

Though he knows
That to me, he is
No more that friend
Of mine I once loved.

These baubles, trinkets
And candies of sugary
Sweet smses that he
Keeps sending me…
Often telling a tale
Of how miserable he is
And yet he is doing these
Things to please me.
Does his plight warrant
Any sympathy?

No, Never. Not anymore
From me. I’ve had the bitter
Taste of his fake friendship
When he turned out to be
More a foe than a friend -
Letting me down in every way.

No going back that way.
I know if I give in to his
Wayward charms, feeling
Vulnerable as before…
He’ll leave me writhing in pain.

And all my hurt will bolster
And boost his swelling pride
Of a victorious conquest on
The vanquished lover in me.

So let this inundation of his
Friendliness continue…
Let him play his cards well
Now I know how to play them too.

I’ve seen his lack of empathy
His vacant ‘care’ of empty words
The scars of my painful past -
Still revive those ghastly memories
That so often floods me…
In a deluge of silent tears
And sleepless nights.

Now, he has all the time for me
The once ‘busy’ man
Who made me await his mails
And messages for weeks and
Months endlessly…
As if he was a VVIP.

When I used to query about his
Prolonged periods of nonchalant
Silence. He used to tell me not to
Expect as Expectations beget Pain.

That very same man
Now talks of living life
With hope.

He knows that he has lost me
For ever…
So what is the point of all this
Hypocrisy?

May be with all his
Inundation of ‘feel good’
Messages, he is trying to
Offer himself some
Self-consolation
With the hope of a
Reconciliation
As a lost and found
‘Apu’ that I was to him.

But all said and done,
I have only this to give him:
A Reminder – Don’t Expect.
I may cause you pain.

Don’t you know that
Expectations don’t beget
Love, care, warmth and
Reciprocation.
They only beget Pain.

D4

we all have some
kind of prison
made of some kind
bars

each bar is not
an infidel to its duty
to make us think
that inside this prison
something good still
happens

kind hands can be
choking too
when what we want to
do is barred
because justice demands
that kindness
must beget kindness

out there
the real game is waiting
we hold the ball
but we cannot go
and play

Random opinions and ruminations

I believe that…

Parents greatly overestimate their importance.
Things ripple
Lovers lie… (a lot!)
When a man philosophizes a lot, he’s covering something up
Life has a way of shrinking a man
Everyone has regrets
Hormones make us all do stupid things
If you’ve not screwed up…you haven’t lived
We all have scars, torments and ghosts
Smiles beget haloes and beget smiles in return
Some people smile like a frightened lemur
Old men and women bicker… happily (usually)
The greatest wealth lives in happy memories
Sadness can be freely given…while
Happiness must be earned
Every person pays for sex in the end
One can savor the flavor of being alone
The ugliest truth be better than the prettiest of lies
Years need be not friend or enemy
Not all winds are fresh…
Nor all sea breezes briny
Some people’s beauty takes one’s breath away…
And others are uglier than a monkey’s heinie
These are enough for now
It’s time to take a nap!

‘Happy Birthday, Mahatma Gandhiji! ’

Our Father of the Indian soil,
You got us freedom with your toil;
All life, you burnt the midnight-oil;
Your Freedom Struggle, none could foil!

What simple life, you led on earth!
Your humbleness was seen from birth;
Such greatness stands always a dearth;
To you, all Indians owe our mirth!

O Mahatma, you’re live today,
In hearts of earthlings to this day;
You showed an exemplary way;
Your sacrifice, none can repay!

Although you were a simple boy,
You won us freedom we enjoy;
You persevered with your own ploy,
And made the British gun, a toy!

Your love for us, we won’t forget;
Great men like you, may we beget;
Free nation from all foreign debt;
To you, we owe our lives, we bet!

May heaven give you lasting peace;
May global Indians live with ease;
May earthlings live without disease;
May wars on earth totally cease!

We love you Father Gandhiji!
We’ll live upto your dreams surely;
We miss you very much truly;
We promise to do our duty!
