Fidelity was to the core.
He didn’t know if she was better;

No comparative assessment.
No variety entertainment.

Depression destroyed my life
Depression destroyed my life.
It told me I was no good.
It told me I was all bad.
It told me I was not loved.
It told me I didn't deserve treatment.
It told me I deserved to die.
Depression destroyed my life.
I listened to what it was saying.
I told myself I was no good.
I told myself I wasn't loved because I was bad.
I didn't seek treatment to feel better.
I tried to kill myself for his entertainment.
Depression destroyed me.

Still believing lies

it's a lie i still believe,
i can't blame that i'm still a child,
even though at times i still feel like one,

messed me up in more ways than i can say,

Her flowered dress and fresh smile
Belied drugged, pained nights
Under the Jamaica Avenue El
We sat at a sidewalk café
On a sunny Florida morning.
'How lucky I am
to be married to Danny, '
she said.
He left her shortly afterward.

i can't believe i got to this point.
only to be left with hate and disapointed.
knowing i was fragile.

Medley
“Moon light and lovers” yes I remember it well,
now I´m grateful for moonlight when going to
the outdoor loo where rats assemble.
Yesterday, when love was easy, yet she left
I blamed my after shave…me the lover had
my pick but the one that mattered left.
Everybody love somebody sometimes, I loved
everybody at the same time and found to my
utter surprise abandoned by everyone.
Smoke got in her eyes I was only trying to be
sophisticated, I left to hide away, but a man
needs his mate…but I had left it too late.
Love and glory, why didn´t I see that, thought
glory had to do with war. When she married
a hero, I saw it all and shot them both.

I Didn't Think I Had The Strength To Love Again
I thought I didn't have the strength to love again! ! ! !
I didn't believe in the power of love until you came in my life and loved what I thought was was gone in me.
The person who became covered with seasons of unwanted stuff and I felt like I gave so much of me that I became empty.
And it was at that place that I just wanted to give up on love because I felt that love didn't love me no more, and was sent to drain my heart to the very core.
But when I first saw you, you help me see that I was giving so much of me away that I didn't save anything nothing. And a tear fell from my eyes and in time I truly felt your love poured back into my life! ! ! ! when I thought I didn't have the strength to love again! ! ! !
