Religion Formation

Each founder of a religion or sect
Was particular about recruiting
Followers and then cordoning them,
With least concern for the heaven assured..

His mission was to expand his region.
His vision was to establish his rule.
He coaxed the rulers and fought out the rivals.
His heirs carried down him for their profits..

The function of religions

I belong to my religion
To belong to the people
Who are with the religion.

I remain with a fixed sect
To remain with the people
Who remain with that sect.

I identify a shrine
To identify myself
With those visiting the shrine.

The people of the religion,
Not the ideal of the religion,
Is my motive to follow.

The religion wants my membership.
The sect wants my participation.
The shrine wants my attendance.

Neither they nor I am strict
That the ideals be pursued
As the idols are worshipped.

How can then the religion
Reform and refine the human
Other than consolidation?

What Is Your Religion?

The Heaven Doors Opened,
And I Stepped In,
A Room Was There,
God Sitting Within,

I Was Enjoying His Presence,
Suddenly, He Put Up A Question,
I Was Amazed When He Asked,
“What Is Your Religion? ”

I Didn’t Realize The Situation,
But Answered His Query,
I said Jainism,
And He Became Angry,

He Left Me Alone,
And Told To Think Over Time,
“I’ll Ask The Question Again” He Said,
When The Clock Strikes Nine!

After He Was Gone,
I Ran Back Into Time,
To Know Where I Went Wrong,
And To Get An Answer Fine,

But I was Terrified To See,
In The Name Of Religion,
The World Was Destroying,
But I Went Deep For A Solution,

I Saw A Curfew In Whole State,
As A Mosque Was Broken Down,
The Place Was Ayodhya,
The So Called Land Of Lord Ram,

I Saw Guns In Golden Temple,
And Many People Being Fired Upon,
Only To Make The City Of Five Rivers, Punjab,
A Land Of Only Sikhs, Named Khalistan,

I Saw Many People In The World,
Telling Their God Great,
One Said Jesus, Other Said Krishna,
And One Said Mecca Is Heaven’s Gate,

They Fought Over Religions,
They Fought Over God,
My Heart Is Aching To See This,
Why They Are Trying To Divide That One Lord,

Then The Clock Struck Nine,
And God Came In,
Seeing My Tears, He Gave A Smile,
For Accomplishment Of His Mission,

He Hugged Me Tight,
For I Realized,
God Is One And In Every Being’s Heart,
So What Is The Reason For His Divide,

The Only Religion Of A Man,
Is To Serve Mankind And Being ‘Human’,
God Didn’t Need Ask Me Again But Let Me Ask You,
“What Is Your Religion? ”

I Have a Vision

A vision like a dream
Living in a dreamy world
Like living in heaven
A place where we can't find here

Send forth our wishes
Every day I see myself in a mirror
Wishing a vision
Of my own vision

Having to have a vision
Blind to see my life mission
Walking into this sanction world
Without know why we are here

So I have a vision
To call God comes again
To save us from sin and
Ask His forgiveness, blessings and graces.

Carnality

I moan the departure
of death,
which was sitting in the golden
throne after the vision.

It had been a waging
war between religion and sex.
You want to align with the
sect devising the bared gestures.

Was it a personal vendetta
of the god who led the thirsty
years of man? It was a lidless
Hibiscus who will not stop crying.

Moonlight Shadow

The last that ever she saw him
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
He passed on worried and warning
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Lost in a riddle last saturday night
Far away on the other side.
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through

The trees that whisper in the evening
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
All she saw was a silhouette of a gun
Far away on the other side.
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through

I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away

I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven one day

Four AM in the morning
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
I watched your vision forming
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Stars move slowly in the silvery night
Far away on the other side
"Will you come to talk to me this night?"
But she couldn't find how to push through

I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven far away

I stay
I pray
I see you in heaven one day

Far away on the other side.

Caught in the middle of a hundred and five
The night was heavy but the air was alive
But she couldn't find how to push through

Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Far away on the other side.

The Rulers

Who are these Kings, Queens and Rulers
that we see?
And what makes them any better than you or me?

Did our God create them to rule over men
and if He did then why, how or when?
No, I say this God I don't perceive.
We have created them. This I believe.
We acquiesed quietly, giving our consent.
My God did not make us to be subservient.

I believe way back in our history's past
something evil occured to make this last.
And so it continues right up to today
and the masses accept it as if it's fair play.
And who are these blue-bloods that conquer and rule?
These are not leaders They are too cruel.

These are the Kings, Queens and Rulers that we see.
And there's not a one of them
made like you or me.

Vision Of Love

Treated me kind
Sweet destiny
Carried me through desperation
To the one that was waiting for me
It took so long
Still I believed
Somehow the one that I needed
Would find me eventually

I had a vision of love
And it was all that you've given to me

Prayed through the nights
Felt so alone
Suffered from alienation
Carried the weight on my own
Had to be strong
So I believed
And now I know I've succeeded
In finding the place I conceived

I had a vision of love
And it was all that you've given to me
I had a vision of love
And it was all that you've given me

I've realized a dream
And I visualized
The love that came to be
Feel so alive
I'm so thankful that I've received
The answer that heaven has sent down to me

You treated me kind
Sweet destiny
And I'll be eternally grateful
Holding you so close to me
Prayed through the nights
So faithfully
Knowing the one that I needed
Would find me eventually

I had a vision of love
And it was all that you've given to me
I had a vision of love
And it was all that you turned out to be

God's messangers

I witnessed many bright stars in the sky
I tried to pick their numbers but could not try
They were countless in numbers and in depth hidden by vastness
With permanent existence and hung on solid base

Who came first on this earth as god's messenger?
Why was almighty in need to send them or eager?
I thought of their greatness as they were all named in sky
No one from earth can reach them even if divinely fly

God sent them one by one in different regions
They professed well and created liens
Followers swelled in strength and became large group
They all later became disciples and witnessed great jump

Who can claim any of the messengers as best?
Why was then need arose by him to send them for test?
What did we do to them when they roamed among us?
Poked on body, blinded and hung on cross with distrust

Yet we claim true followers of only one creator
Nothing wrong in it even if we pray and remember
He may rush to followers in any form they worship
Whether he has asked for help in desert, at sea or on the ship

You will find countless faiths yet they claim almighty is one
They bow the head to his honor an d believe none
I shall go by their verdict and stand alone
Ready to exist as long as he wises and then gone

No religion preaches violence and hatred
Sometimes they carried away or mislead
Human beings are slaughtered for no fault of their own
Wars are fought in red earth soil with what ever causes to disown

It gives me tremendous joy when hear the churches bell ring
It equally rejoices me when in early morning someone remembers and sings
His holy name either in verses or through recitals
I bow my head in his glory and offer rose petals

A Poet Is Not A Hypocrite

To be a poet, don't bind yourself
With any religion or region.
You must be free for a clear vision
To air your view without prejudice.

Be a mad man, who has no fear,
And who has no fence, nor boundary.
Otherwise, you will be a paid poet.
A poet is not a hypocrite.

Laissez Faire

A stranger's desperation shouldn't be of much
Concern to you. This is what we all are told
By those who know no desperation, having
Found the means to gather profits from what
We produce. 'You're on your own, ' they say,
And laugh, 'though we are not, but never mind.
This world works in splendid fashion, you for
Us, and you, a stranger, aren't of much concern.'

Large Enough

Never give up in this life even if you fall,
But expand your mind to rule over your dreams by putting things right;
And extend your love around the world with care.

Astray on the road but,
Don't have any sexual relations with any kind of animals!
But settle down in the land of peace and joy and do your trading,
For your vision is very large enough to carry you on.

Theory Of Love And Peace

I wondered over the theory of love and peace
How it worked together and so much at ease
How could one school of thoughts survived for centuries?
When world was engulfed with clashes and miseries?

I have believed in harmonious existence
There are pretty number of instances
Where neighbors of different religions coexisted
Lived for years still remained aloof and unrelated

How come fanatics raised head all of sudden?
Where from they borrowed idea of one religion even?
How come world be convinced over their ideology?
When they are divided over and still raise the bogey?

I still give some marks to their intolerant attitude
If some one has hurt their sentiments with ingratitude
Some comments about their religion and heads
How that can be all over when no one has heard about or read?

Have we misinterpreted our own religion?
Taken to heart what has been practiced in other regions?
Followed same views and points for adoption?
Where as some change would have been contemplated with action

I read some where that offer another cheek if one is slapped
Don’t laugh at his misery and insult with slightly clapped
Feel unhappy when neighbor is in duress and needs attention
These were all preached and found with almost all with mention

I feel remorse when hear that certain followers massacred
While offering prayers at sacred place when peacefully lead
What was their fault in offering or remembering almighty?
Why do such disgruntled persons claim and later on ask for pity

I wish to raise my banner of revolt under peaceful resolve
Demand for total annihilation if they don’t fall in line and solve
If need be, under one single command and one mission
No mercy whatsoever for their such acts and omission

I can understand their ire for persons of different religion
What logic they provide for persons of same faith in region?
Where should they go for the fear of loosing life?
Have they to live only to face bullets or on edge of knife?

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXXV: Rules part 2

What’s the rule, when money could buy
What’s the rule, when power is absolute
What’s the rule, when feeling involved
What’s the rule, when pride is important
What’s the rule, when look affects
What’s the rule, when victory is a must
What’s the rule, when worlds are vain
What’s the rule, people don’t change
What’s the rule, when good is not always right
What’s the rule, freedom is misunderstood
What’s the rule, anger conquers
What’s the rule, past neglected
What’s the rule, crime that committed
