Pseudo belief
We have got to know more of planets.
Still we believe they are destiny guides.
We learnt the truth of Darwin’s theory.
Still we believe Adam and Eve concept.
Marriages matched by the birth chart go astray.
Marriages vetoed very well thrive.
Still we cherish hopes in birth chart.
We thus fool others and ourselves.
The knowledge is lame before belief.

We need to change!
It is time for merriment, when the wedding bells ring,
The arrival of the cupids expected after the knots hung,
Parents are panting with hopes in their mind.
Suitable bride or groom for the apple of eyes, spectacled,
Astrologers are the ones decide the marriages,
Counting the squares in the birth chart of the aspirants,
Betrothals are made in the small offices, not in heaven,
the transfer of gold, silver, and currency for a good groom,
who has either earning power or the inherited properties,
those who have neither of them are doomed and remain bachelors,
the women who have no money end up as old virgins,
What a beautiful country it is, to have the famous chastity,
To boast about when the people shed tears silently,
What a wonderful nation it is, to talk about secularism,
In the market of flesh trade, not in the life of the innocents.

She worded it a bit strongly, but I do find myself more and more struck by the differences between the sexes. To put it another way: All marriages are mixed marriages.

Marriages are under strain today in terms of economics. There are social cross-currents. We see failed marriages. But it is not under attack by our gay and lesbian citizens.

Pay To the Trusted Men Due
Pay to trusted men their due.
Pay not a thing to the fool.
Some men are fools by birth
Other by their own device
Which would you say is right?
The fool by birth can do but naught
The self made fool himself to rot.
God shall look over him from birth
And leave the other in the dirt.

A Flow Chart Life
Initialised with birth
inputs as incidents
'logic' to handle incidents
well within...may be iam cinditioned
incidences come as a record
one at a time
to be processed with the logic i endorse
engraved within the chart
an 'IF' and an 'ELSE'
decisions either way
process of the logic is perfect
accumulation would go on and on
until a 'CONTROL BREAK'...death
to start of again with
memories brought to zero
AN INITIALISED BIRTH

Shroud of Destiny
Destiny
A foretelling
Your purpose in life
Stray away
Must not
Follow your dreams
Disregarded
Only one path
Destiny provides
At birth
Failure this
Concept is
Truth be told
Many paths
Lay in front
Hiding in the
Shroud of destiny
One purpose
One goal
One path
In life
No decisions
For you only the stars
Decide

I know some good marriages -- marriages where both people are just trying to get through their days by helping each other, being good to each other.

Marriages are semi-happy.
Maybe marriages are made in heaven
But it's on the earth that it is tested.
Marriages, arranged or led by courtships,
Is bound to be semy happy marriages.
What semi happy marriage means is that
It has happiness as a family
And lacks pulls at the sight of each other
Between the husband and the wife in life.
Lovers are passion orientated.
Couples are partner orientated.
Husbands and wives are mere faithful friends.
Ownerships and identity bind them.
They sublimate their sexual energy
In the family chores and children upkeep.
With their romance and passion forgotten.
Half happy and half sore they lead their life.
Every marriage is a semi happy one
And even then marriages are welcome
By the society as it is the nest
Well fit for the children to grow in.

A Brief Note On Marriage!
Flute music is coming when I am writing this poem;
The sweet music is being rendered by a flute vendor!
Flute music reminds all of the hero of Bhagavad-Gita
Who proposed the policy of nonattachment in life!
Marriages are fixed in heaven many say since long time
But why are some going for divorces after the marriage?
Love or arranged marriages should be based on love;
But too much attachment finding faults ends in divorces!
Nothing is perfect in the world let alone love and marriage;
What is more important is love to be cherished as humans
So that relations would last longer making happier life here;
Critically seeing differences one cannot find peace of mind.
Bond of marriages is supposed to last till the end of life
But not to suffer by marriages till the end of life in the world!

The Birth Of Food
The birth of a biscuit combines my mind with my body,
Hardening the soul, hardening the mighty heart;
May hearts collide in innocent gestures,
Love has been tasted by the birth of an ingredient of love.
Mighty remembrance has been loved and liked,
Gestures of a table combine with the mighty arms and legs.
The biscuits and dishes and fishes work on their own,
Finding a concept of philosophy and knowledge.
This is the birth of food and cookery,
That chefs may discover in their youth.

Birds Like Rain
The birds are happy outside
their feathers are clean now they shine.
All humans are fast asleep
while nature quenches rain for it to drink.
Birds can tell us when storm is to start
we have to look for signs and learn to chart-
chart the day with an observing eye
things happen for the greater good
even if we don't why.

The classics of Marxism, while fully appreciating the significance of the Darwinian theory, pointed out the errors of which Darwin was guilty. Darwin's theory, though unquestionably materialist in its main features, is not free from some serious errors.

Who is the cause?
Mountains to valleys and valleys to mountains,
Once ocean now land, once land now ocean,
Rocks reduced to soil, soil compacted into rocks,
man goes to dust and dust to man,
All in cycles, who makes? At whose will?
Then why am I smeared with calumny or harmony
While none of my deeds are independent?
Arrow, Bow, Hunter, his hunger, his birth
Or its birth, which is the cause for the one hunted?

Old Sadie At The Corner
Old Sadie at the corner feels bitterness towards men
She has been through four marriages her last husband was Ben
Her first husband was Andy followed by Jim and Joe
And she has not had an affair since Ben left years ago.
She never more will marry she says enough no more
I would not try for a fifth time I've had enough in four
To each of them she bore children she raised six kids in all
But of the men in her life few good memories to recall.
She says they all abused her but those who know her better say
That Sadie's not an angel and no small part she did play
In the break up of her marriages all of her ex husbands would agree
That Sadie is not the victim she makes herself out to be.
She never more will marry she was four times a wife
And now she feels contented for to lead a single life
And old Sadie she is destined to end her days on her own
For not even one man shows interest in her if the truth be known.

Darwin and Lincoln - an ovation
Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln
Are, this year, two hundred years old.
Darwin’s theory shocked the religions.
Lincoln’s democracy shook the nations.
Darwin and Lincoln have made their enemies,
Who survive them to keep them alive.
Darwin and Lincoln made their theories,
Which survive them to keep them alive.
Darwin liberated us from ignorance
Let the vested interests die with age
Lincoln abolished slavery by law.
Let the spirit of tolerance rise to match.

Mother only is taken for granted.
A mother can’t bear her son’s death
Even when it happens so late
A son wishes her mother’s death
When it is to delay too much.
Yet, posthumously he mourns for her loss;
In her only he sought his birth right shelter.

Like birth and death
Birth brings happiness.
Parents bring happiness.
Brothers and sisters too.
So do wife and children.
Their exit one by one
Brings you much suffering.
Your death looms with suffering.
Your enemy brings suffering.
Your rivals cause suffering.
Usurpers and thieves too.
So do the wicked and cheats.
Their exit brings happiness.
Accept happiness and suffering
As you accept your birth and death.
