Patriarchy rules
Woman loves her mother.
Her mother in law cannot match.
When both are no more,
It is the mother in law
That she remembers most
Identity impose such feelings
A proof of patriarchy.

I still need a mother
I need a mother who would love me
I need a mother who would take care of me
I need a mother who would understand me
I need a mother for who I am
I need a mother to know me
I need a mother who would be there for me
I need a mother who would not yell at her son
I need a mother who won't push her son away
I need a mother who would not throw me out of her life
Even though I still need a mother
Everyday I try to be nice
Sometime she don't care about me
What I need is a mother who would be there for me
I need a mother who would watch me grow
I need a mother who would celebrate my birthday
I need a mother who would miss me
I need a mother to cry on
I need a mother to know that her son loves her
But she won't let me know her
What I need is a mother
Who is no more now.

Mother In Law
(a. toussaint)
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
The worst person I know
Mother in law, mother in law
She worries me so
Mother in law, mother in law
If she leaves us alone
We could have a happy home
Sent from down below
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Satan should be her name
Mother in law, mother in law
To me theyre about the same
Mother in law, mother in law
Everytime I open my mouth
Steps in trying to put me out
How could you stood so low
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Come home with my pay
Mother in law, mother in law
She asks me what I made
Mother in law, mother in law
She thinks her advice is a contribution
If she would leave that would be the solution
Dont come back no more
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law....

Mother the Superior
Parental love in man and woman varies.
He loves his child for his pride and future.
She loves her child for its safety and future.
The father loves the bright and the mother, the weak.
The child without mother is an orphan.

What a mother should be
A mother is the one who loves you
A mother puts no drug above you
A mother will never make you cry
A mother will never make you want to die
A mother will help you fight your fears
A mother will help you stop your tears
A mother will keep you safe and sound
A mother will never let you down
A mother will daily say I love you
A mother won’t say I hate you
A mother won’t wish you were dead
A mother won’t forget what you said
A mother won’t close the door
A mother won’t let you be poor
Now I ask you, do you have a mother?
Cause’ I don’t, so don’t bother.

Identity ensures sacrifice.
Once I sold my gold for my sister to wed.
I had a pride on it.
Now when my mother has given her hers
I am piqued by it.
My sister and I are liberated from the identity.
At my mother’s age I may emulate her.
How will be my son for his sister?

Mother the biggest gift of Allah to us
Mother the biggest gift of Allah to us
Mother the candle burn herself to light our life
Mother the other name of kindness
Mother who hold us nine month and suffer
Mother who feed us from her blood and milk
Mother stays sleepless all the nights holding us
Mother teach us how to walk and talk
Mother guides us and secures us
Mother loves us from start to end
Mother is mother no one can take her place

A Poem For My Mother
I need a mother who loves me, who understands me and is there for me
A shoulder to cry on, someone to rely on
But now I am older I can see you will never be
the things I need you to be.
a mother wouldn’t make you cry
a mother would never say good bye
a mother would never cause you so much pain
or call you all those horrible names
a mother wouldn’t tell you they want to die
a mother would never to try to control
a mother would give you all her heart and soul
Everyday I always try to keep all these thoughts and feelings at bay
but it has come to a point where I have to have my say
I needed a mother who would never close the door, but now that you have I realise that me and you are no more.
I live with the hope that one day you will see, how much hurt your words and actions over the years have caused me.

Woman’s pity
As a puppy is put to love the master
When she is brought from her mother,
Even so is the woman from her parents.
As a cow is free to follow the cowherd
When she is let out from the cowshed,
Even so is the housewife from her yard.
As a hen is set to ignore the cock
When she hatched her chicks,
Even so is the mother with her kids.

My Real Goddess
Today my mother
Came to my house
With lots of blessing
And full of good wishing
To live long
Happy and healthy
Progressive and wealthy
My mother
My sweet mother
My beautiful mother
My loving mother
My real goddess
My ever goodness
My first lady I loved
My life my mother
My soul my mother
My God-gift my mother
My pride my mother
My aim my mother
My teacher my mother
My friend my mother
My preacher my mother
My daughter's face look-like my mother
My daughter my little mother
O the Absolute Almighty
Give me my mother
Again and again
And again and again
My mother
Only my mother.

The orphan
It is not that anyone
Loves you for yourself alone
And not your winsome eyes.
It is not that anyone
Loves you for yourself alone
And not your well set teeth.
It is not that anyone
Loves you for yourself alone
But not your troublesome hair.
It is your mother alone who
Loves you for yourself alone
Even with repelling features.
Without mother all are orphans.

Hinduism
Mukthi as the end; you are at the front.
O mother O mother all are on the run.
Renunciation as the means; all else are only dreams.
O mother O mother you are at the reign.
Fearlessness in your scriptures; put all others in ruptures.
O mother O mother you are sending shivers.
Oneness as the truth; what more is there to search.
O mother O mother this is what you vouch.
Religion is realisation; everything else only make sensation.
O mother O mother grandeur is your definition.
Spirituality in the air; whatelse can we aspire.
O mother O mother you are present everywhere.
Noble thoughts from you; the world owes all to you.
O mother O mother all has taken only from you.
We are the divine force; what more can be the driving force.
O mother O mother all are from the same source.
I need boons two; one to be born to you.
O mother O mother should be my cry next time too.

Mother
Everybody utter
They love their mother
Many of them
Do not respect woman
One who is a mother to other?
Or one day
Shall become a mother
A mother is a mother
Same sacrifices same pains
She has to bear
May be a king
May be a pauper
None could exist
Without a woman
Known as a mother

The Mother
“The Mother”
She’s known as the mother
But, she doesn’t act like a mother
No love
No love
You’ll never see her show it
Only her madness
Never hugs
Never kisses
Never loves
Never
Noone knows what she needs to make her happy
She’s a careless and unhappy woman
She only has time for herself
No second thoughts about others
The mother
I’ve heard of her
But, where is she?
The real mother?

Mother, You Are Only Mother
MOTHER, YOU ARE ONLY MOTHER
Mother, you are only mother,
because of you,
i got thoughts and rituals,
because of you,
i got my face, my existence and my prestige,
mother, you are neither goddess nor god,
mother, you are not away from these,
mother, you are my soul,
you are within me,
mother, you aren`t a materialistic thing,
you are omnipresent earth,
you are a firm foundation,
mother, you are away from words,
mother, you are life

How you cared for us. Don't keep away from us.I won't surive without you/ Mother Mother Mother Your eyes show me the way. When I fall on my way. You lend me a hand to carry on. Mother Mother Mother You had a very hard life. But you gave your baby your own bread from your own mouth. When she feels hungry. Mother Mother Mother If I pass though this word. I wouldn't find you anywhere. Your sweet smile makes me happy. Mother Mother Mother My love for you will go on forever. A Mother
A mother is the one who nurtures you……
She’s there when you need a shoulder to cry on ……
You can talk to her when and where ever you feel like……
I’ m proud to have a mother that has all of these qualities……
A mother is there to teach you right from wrong……
A mother loves you no matter what you do……
She has your back……
She trusts your decisions one hundred percent because she knows that she has raised you right…………
A mother is a special friend, you can tell her all of your secrets……
That’s why I am proud to call Diane Eley this wonderful, intelligent woman my mother……
Dedicated to the most wonderful mother: Diane Eley
