Past is dust.
My childhood was not aware that
My adulthood would later mock at it.
My adulthood was not aware that
My old stage would mock at adulthood.
My senescence will be mocked at
By my soul. Every past is dust.

Survivor of My Griefs
I admit...
There is much in my own hometown,
I am not aware of that exists.
Most of my time spent,
Has been done healing from grief.
And growing into adulthood.
And the other part of my life,
Has been lived far away from sorrows.
And today I can say,
I have been blessed to have lived that way...
Far away from sorrows.
And growing into an adulthood,
I can now live knowing...
I am a survivor of my griefs.

Welcome Me, Adulthood
Welcome me, Adulthood, I have ventured
through childhood with all the wonders and dangers in it.
I have placed my childhood fantasies aside,
and picked up hopes of becoming who I want to be.
Embrace me knowledge,
I am ready to know more and add to what I know already.
I have conquered my fear of the night,
now I only fear of becoming nothing.
I have stopped pretending to be what I thought I was going to be,
and realized that I am only what I make of myself.
I have come down from the land of make-believe,
and I have found the strength to believe in me.
So when I come upon you, open your arms,
and welcome me, Adulthood,
for I am headed your way.

Extinct Of Childhood
childhood is matching out
My generation is not watching out
The genesis of a blackout
In a scene that must not be cut out
Scene is a stage of life
Childhood! I am in retrospect
I wonder at the turn of events
Imagine the exit of a crucial stage
These days they recognise contraceptives
That is why I am hypertensive
Children can not comprehend comprehensively
English teacher in comprehension
A child's exposure to adulthood
Achild's experience of adulthood
Equal to taking two steps at a time
Which causes a faall of a lifetime
Abomination now normal occurences
Adult language now children songs
Their songs leave our mouth ajar
Our taboo is now their faboo
Girl raped when a toddler
Exploring, performing before teenager
Perishing before adulthood
Who is the future of tomorrow?
Bring back childhood days
Let membership be mandatory
Make Right of Participation obligatory
In togetherness we rescue childhood
Children deserve the right to choose
Heavenly endowment from Mother Nature
Allow these children to nurture
Never force them to mature
My propagation about childhood
Let childhood songs be babbling
Let their dance be jumping
Let their dressing be decent
Be free to twinkle again
Stars are permanently up
Mothers should sit and watch
That Humpty might fall again
You will soon devour an elephant
With a lifetime ahead of you
Your year of Yahooze by the corner
No hurry in life, time for everything

Oil Seeps
Oil seeps from taps of gold and silver good,
My author wrote the books of old and new,
And why do men shine on, like gold anew,
The world inside does stick as if it could.
How is this person with an adulthood?
If childhood is a job, I eat bamboo
Like Pandas, like them, and they brew
The blood of men so great with fatherhood.
But, if they steal the trees and mock as well
Then jungles carry wild notes of music,
The real breath blew a horn so huge that today
It blows a noise of horror big as bell,
So cells of plants are smaller than epic,
I want the flowers over a slight melee.

Adulthood is the ever-shrinking period between childhood and old age. It is the apparent aim of modern industrial societies to reduce this period to a minimum.

Innocence of a child
In the dark of night
you would come
in the silence
of the hour
you would serve
Satan your master
taking the innocence
of a child
destroying a child's life
denying the child
a normal adulthood!
Have you ever thought
of your actions?
what you were doing
by the lust
that controlled you?
Who gave you
the right to take
the child's innocence?
yes, you, who gave you
the right?
After many years
of emotional suffering
a child entered
into adulthood
God embraced
the adult in love
Forgiveness in Christ
becomes the words
in the heart
freedom in Christ
the prize received
The abuser of the child
are then forgiven
Abuser of the child
did you find
God's forgiveness
before you died
many years later
I hope dearly so!

We have not passed that subtle line between childhood and adulthood until we move from the passive voice to the active voice-that is, until we have stopped saying 'It got lost,' and say, 'I lost it.'

The stem stays with crown gone.
The death at adulthood
Cannot take away
The joy of the childhood.
The death of love
Cannot take away
The birth of the love.

The fairness of the two deals
Some were recruited in the morning,
Some at noon and some in the evening.
At the close, all were paid equal wages.
There was hue and cry among the aggrieved.
Some were initiated at the childhood,
Some, at the adulthood and some, in the old age.
At the end all were shown equal reward: heaven.
There was no crumbling, no agitations.

Like a child growing into an adult?
This old tattered soul eagerly seeks
the boisterous childhood,
Playmates and unpopular grounds?
(And our powerful strokes not included
in the World record book and we're not recognized.)
Remember that soft ball when somebody throws
I hit with my cheaper bat not willow wood.
The ball goes into the forest like a jet
and it's really interested searching the ball
whole day there with mosquito bites
and we bring home the nettles?
If someone knows the real value of childhood
Who never dreams of adulthood
That full of cruelty and hardships?

Have you lost your Smile?
A sense of humor is very good,
Have you lost it in adulthood?
Just like food, it feeds your soul,
Daily smile, set your goal.
If you haven't done it for a while,
You will feel better when you smile.
Robert (Rocky) Bates
Where do we start, where do we stop
putting together divine words of sincerity
for a man of integrity, intelligent, witty,
admired by his peers, family and friends.
Our families came together on the
Sandfields Estate late fifties early sixties,
though from different backgrounds,
we bonded instantly in childhood
and were known as Rocky, Ti, Jolly, and Pixie.
The history of our childhood became a ten-plate
toward the development of our adulthood
and through our childhood bonding
it became apparent, in who we are today.
There is no manual on the shelves,
to show how we should proceed
but we knew how to treat each other.
That is a rare commodity in how to
navigate friendship unconditionally.
