You Get Worked

This is happening this here is life
Days spent pondering truth is a knife
Respect due to those who have caught it
Dedicated to our friends who have sought it
This is happening this here is life
Days spent pondering truth is a knife
Respect due to those who have caught it
Dedicated to our friends who have sought it

Brainstorm superseding the norm
When we come together new planet is born
You revel in the chaos when people are torn
Then you come to find out your welcome is worn
We are advancing and retracting visionaries
Really here it's not imaginary
The way you work your mind you find it's an art
Where you feel it most you feel in your heart
Everybody gets confused
Delusions are everywhere
Buy into fakeness you'll feel used
Double talk fills the air
Looking all over for happiness
I've got the will to live
It's in front of you right now

Weighing Heavily On Your Mind

You know the days when you feel that your life is slipping through your fingers, and there is nothing you can do. It is one of those days today. It is weighing on my mind whether to stay or go. You feel like giving up the job, your hobbies, the lot, just turn your back and start a new somewhere else.

The problem is, what about your friends, what will they think? They’d probably want the best for you, but they would not want you to go. However sometimes its for the best, to go away and start a new life somewhere. Just say goodbyes and then just go. Disappear to who knows where, try not to shed a tear too much, nor regret what you are about to do. Just put the old life away on a shelf, try and tell yourself it didn’t exist at all.

Oh, I wish it was that easy. Memories of places and faces of friends would still be there at the back of my mind. They don’t disappear that easily I have found. I think to myself, I’ve done this before, it will only be the closing of just another door, another chapter on my life. Maybe sometime in the future another door will open, and behind it I will find some old friends. Who knows what the score will be. As for right now a decision has to be made. Still I am pondering what I am going to do. I might just leave that decision for a day or two.

Who knows someone of something might make me change my mind. But whatever I decide there is one thing I know. I think whatever I decide it will be a bit of a struggle inside.

Life in isolation

Life in isolation

In no way it helps to be alone
You are constantly facing fear of cyclone
It may sometime never come and strike
You may only be dreaming and flying kite

You have accepted pessimism as only way
That is driving you miles away
From reality and pushing to the brink
It may further force you to sink

You can have no peace at all
When respond to unreasonable call
No one has succeeded in isolation
In seclusion alone without having relation

Life may come to standstill
The inner conscious may loose strong will
Even though you are in life
But always fearful of loosing with knife

Life is no life without company
This has been experienced by many
No one has appreciated it so far
We can’t lead the life by looking at star

Think of the fact that you are human
It is good quality of man and woman
The truth must be clearly borne in mind
There are ways to come out of it and find

It is clear tendency on your part to kill
Lack of strength, enough of confidence and good will
You must live by self but not alone
Those days are definitely gone

You are young and energetic
Life can’t be stagnated or made static
There is so much to live by ideals
Life may then seem as and real

If at all you are not told
Face the truth and be bold
Life is yours and soul must obey
This is how you find sun and bright ray

This fear is unreal and only exists in mind
Some of the bare facts may appeal even to blind
Rest your mind not on imaginary facts
Start new life and don’t hastily act

Make it sure that you are master
You must gain time and move on faster
Life is to be caught up with speed and zeal
It may make difference for you to feel

But A Memory

My life is but a memory
It seems all in the past
and each day that is given to me
feels just like the last
Memories of lovers
memories of friends
memories of summer day
I thought it would never end
Memories of days
I spent on the beach
Dreaming of the girl
That was just out of reach
and days spent pondering life's miracles
and what was meant by each
wondering is it spiritual
or just a pretty girl and a beach

The Truth, The Life, The Way

Since Adam first was given birth
We’ve been at constant war
Disgraced and cursed to work the earth
When God closed tight His door

Perchance, we’ve sought the way to go
Yet few would seek to pray
Though God alone can really show
The Truth, The Life, The Way

The Truth, to know we cheat and lie
The Truth, to know we kill
The Truth, to know until we die
We seek our selfish will

The Will, that leads from Jesus’ Light
The Will, that’s Satan’s knife
The Will, that robs of perfect sight
We need to find true Life

The Life, we need when dead in sin
The Life, when led astray
The Life, we seek to dwell within
To guide us all The Way

The Way that leads to Truth again
The Way, to Life once more
The Way, that cleanses every stain
To find Salvation’s Door

The Door, in Truth is God’s own Seed
That grows through faith, in Light
Whose fruit we bear, others to feed
Who’ll need to win the fight

The fight for Life, in Truth is won
Who’ll fight where death, is gain!
For they who die for God’s True Son
Will live, with Him to reign…

The Truth It Can Be Hurtful

I may not like what you say of me but if of me you speak the truth
Though the truth it can be hurtful if it is not spoken without ruth
The truth cannot defame me if of me the truth you say
And if the truth taints my character well that too is okay.

But if you tell lies about someone and know them to be lies
Then the dislike I'd feel for one like you i barely could disguise
For lies can be defamatory when used in such a way
Any respect to a malicious liar i would find hard to pay.

The truth it can be hurtful as we all ought to know
But out of the truth it can be said respect for one does grow
And though you may not like what's said about you at least what's said is true
And to the one who speaks the truth credit is always due.

The truth it can be hurtful but the truth is never wrong
And those who cannot accept the truth mentally cannot grow strong
And though for some the truth is poison they'd rather live a lie
The truth lives on forever and the truth will never die.

I Feel All Alone

On days like this I am all consumed,
By a heaviness,
Wondering how I got myself
Into this very mess,

This is not the path that,
I was meant to walk upon,
I feel that the steps I take
Barely touch the ground,

My dreams in my younger days,
Have all but disappeared,
The songs I sang in my head,
I can no longer hear,

The life with him had been nothing more,
Than wasted precious time,
I can’t seem to find my way,
I have fallen far behind,

So many things in life,
That I wanted to accomplish,
Being a good mother
Was my solitary wish,

Being in a marriage,
Filled with respect and admiration,
I gave all of myself to him,
Without his adoration,

No one can expect anyone,
To stay in something empty,
Marriage is supposed to be,
The land of good and plenty,

So in order to save my soul,
And live a life of happiness,
I had to walk away from him,
And all his shallow emptiness,

In all this time since I have gone,
To live life on my own,
Inside my heart there’s still a void,
And I feel all alone,

A woman who bears children,
Should never be without,
The love they give because in truth,
It’s what life is all about.

Does Anyone Know

Music : klaus meine
Lyrics: klaus meine
Is this world out of control
Say what is right what is wrong
Do I know this world at all
I think I do but then I dont
Im confused by what I see
I try to understand
But it makes no sense at all
Im confused by what I feel
I thought that our love
Was something that is real
Does anyone know
The truth were looking for
Cant find it anymore
Does anyone know
How to make me feel
For something that is real
So many things that I recall
When we were young just flying high
Can we turn our fate at all
I wish we could say dont you cry
Im confused by what I hear
Girl it seems to me
Were losing after all
Im confused by what I feel
I thought that our love
Was something that is real
Does anyone know
The truth were looking for
Cant find it anymore
Does anyone know
How to make me feel
For something that is real
Another day has just begun
Life goes on theres no return
How can I trust anyone
When honesty is such a dirty word
Does anyone know
The truth were looking for
Cant find it anymore
Does anyone know
How to make me feel
For something that is real
Does anyone know
The truth were looking for
Cant find it anymore
Does anyone know
How to make me feel
For something that is real
Yeah

Respect

I respect, another mans religion, or color or creed.
I respect, and follow, the will of my maker.
I respect, the truth, no matter how unpopular.

I respect, a good work ethic.
I respect, the values on which this country was founded.
I respect, those who would champion the under privileged.
I respect, those of differences, who seek common ground.

I respect, the concept of monogamy.
I respect, those faithful to principal.
I respect, change, that is for the better.
I respect, an honest days work.

I respect, the great talents of the entertainment world.
I respect, thought provoking works, of the written word.
I respect, the unquenchable thirst of creativity.
I respect, the farmers and workers that toil in the field.

I respect, the good in man.
I respect, the virtue in woman.
I respect, the innocence of children.
I respect, the generosity of mankind.

Most of all...I respect the maker of
life and the love, that each of us
have within us.

Finding Truth

They say that everyone lies
It is said that everyone will hurt you
They say honesty is the best policy
But what happens when we find the truth?

What if we find something we don't want to?
What if we find our life has been a lie?
What if we find all we ever worked for was for nothing?
What happens when we find the truth?

Is it possible to find truth within a person?
Can one person bring light into your world?
Can that one person make everything right?
Can finding that one person be like finding truth?

If it is possible then i believe i found truth
Truth to my life
Truth to everything i've searched for
Truth for the rest of my life.

The lies are over
My life complete
Truth to who i am
Which is all i ever wanted to know...to know just who i am.

This is dedicated to my g/f Gini, i love her so much.

Respect Yourself

Refrain:
Respect yourself
Change your mind
Respect yourself
Dont be blind
Respect yourself
And you will see the light
Respect yourself
And you will find your way
So practise what you pray
Dont run away
Respect yourself
Respect yourself
Respect yourself
And you will see the light
1.
If you are feeling weak so deep inside
No place to run, no place to hide
R. E. S. P. E. C. T
Respect your destiny
If you dont know what is right or wrong
If you feel confused and your thoughts are gone
R. E. S. P. E. C. T
Respect yourself, be free
2.
Dont care about what people say
Believe in yourself and go your own way
Respect - no resignation
Leave the path of isolation
Dont care about what people say
R.E.S.P.E.C.T , will never get away
Today, we stay, and pay attention anyway
Fairplay, everyday dont run away
3.
You dont know, no, what you dont know
Like the colours of the rainbow
Respect is the name of the game
Respect yourself and you never miss your aim
If you gonna show weakness
You gotta let them know
You dont know, no, what you dont know
If you really wanna grow, say no just go

I am glad, I am getting old

Every morning when I feel the sunshine,
filtering in my room over the hills and trees,
I remember my care free childhood mornings,
when my parents would happily toss me up and down in air,
I remember the beautiful dawn of my married life,
when me and my wife would feel eternally bonded together in the sunshine,
Now I am all alone welcoming the cheerful day,
The shadows of the past have made me think that I am getting old.

I look at my picture album sometimes,
I wonder why my hairline is shrinking away,
I wonder why it is getting harder to chew the food everyday,
I wonder where my adrenaline is gone these days,
why can't I play the soccer and the tennis as I used to,
till my kids and people around me remind me,
that I am not only getting old, but I am old.

I used to look for respect in my younger days,
till I realized that the respect is given not expected,
now I find it everywhere even from people I never knew,
Now I feel relaxed with no fears and pressures of life's turmoil’s,
I love young and old, I try to find the meaning of my life,
I am at peace with myself, I am in love with nature,
I am glad, I am getting old.

Preferred As Protective Devices

In unfortunate ways these days,
People are allowed to betray themselves.
And with validation...
From those they declare as friends.
With a shallowness sought and received from them.

Today few have close friends.
Too many are accustomed to dishonesty.
And truth is disbelieved.
Even some find the mention of it offends.

Delusions are preferred as protective devices.
And when visions becomes blurred,
People seek actively deception as advice.
Only to complain to others what they've heard...
About their depressed and troubled lives.

Leaving that wide of a gap in their minds.
And finding it convenient to wallow away in grief.
