Miseries everywhere

He alone holds reign, who is the king.
He is the subject of no rule of law,
Which he makes to his whims.
Loyalties alone have entries.
Thrown overboard is honesty.
He owns all his subjects own.
Every circle is a kingdom;
Everywhere surrounds misery.

Where to complain

Where to go for complaint?
When king becomes blind and turn saint?
When kingdom is handed over to wolves
Whole mystery surrounds and treachery involves

Is it wise to turn the kingdom into holy land?
Leaving the subjects into the unholy hands?
Allow anarchy and misery to prevail
All rights and freedom may also to curtail

These were the old divine rights of the kings
King was master and we the animals in rings
No voice to be heard with clipping of wings
Not to even murmur and allowed to sing

Kings used to abdicate power in favour
Such a mad race shrouded in glamour
Such was state and no worry for subject
Power or authority only main object

Kings have vanished but leaders are born
Only power game and principles torn
Who knows which side they may turn?
Monarchy is over or likely to return

People still favour old king’s system
Voice was still heard…………………
Thousands of leaders have come into being
Promises forgotten and no welfare to bring

God may save country from clutch
King was accessible even within reach
Leaders have worries and no time to spare
There is no use quality to compare

We have no choice but to live with evil
One may be less other may be more devil
Life is short and has to be compromised
When words are reneged initially promised

There is no use for blood to get boiled
Only strong resolves to get attempts foiled
Still nothing is slipped away and out of hand
Rule should prevail with respect to holy land

Gates of Riches

Open the gates of riches
To the beloved prince of kindness,
Who waited for ever with abacuses
And counted the coins with adeptness.

I am the king whose prince was bold,
And I coveted his prize, the very same as gold;
He owns everything now, the whole land of royalty,
He owns all the plants and animals - absurdity!

I am a king who needs a queen to rule all,
And the man my prince is owning the kingdom therewithal.
His thief is me and my wife, the queen of great health,
The prince is executed and I am left with the commonwealth.

All the Riches of Royalty

The king sat in his silver bathtub one morning
And he realized, as he soaked in the soft bubbles
That you can not rule your kingdom from a silver bathtub

So he did what any other king in a silver bathtub would do-
He got out.

Looking down, he realized that he was standing on his silver rug
And as he dried his arms, he considered that perhaps
You cannot rule a kingdom from a silver bathroom rug

So he slowly stepped off of the rug, and watched the patterns of his feet
Disappear into the silver carpet.

The king walked over to his window and looked over his kingdom.
It lay below him, sparkling in all it's silver beauty
And as he watched, it seemed to come alive with people
Shining like silver in the warm sun

A tear rolled down his quietly down his cheek
And he pondered that
Maybe, just maybe
Being a king is not all that they say it is

Ch 01 Manner Of Kings Story 06

It is narrated that one of the kings of Persia had stretched forth
his tyrannical hand to the possessions of his subjects and had begun
to oppress them so violently that in consequence of his fraudulent
extortions they dispersed in the world and chose exile on account of
the affliction entailed by his violence. When the population had
diminished, the prosperity of the country suffered, the treasury
remained empty and on every side enemies committed violence.

Who desires succour in the day of calamity,
Say to him: 'Be generous in times of prosperity.'
The slave with a ring in his ear, if not cherished will depart.
Be kind because then a stranger will become thy slave.

One day the Shahnamah was read in his assembly, the subject being
the ruin of the dominion of Zohak and the reign of Feridun. The vezier
asked the king how it came to pass that Feridun, who possessed neither
treasure nor land nor a retinue, established himself upon the
throne. He replied: 'As thou hast heard, the population
enthusiastically gathered around him and supported him so that he
attained royalty.' The vezier said: 'As the gathering around of the
population is the cause of royalty, then why dispersest thou the
population? Perhaps thou hast no desire for royalty?'

It is best to cherish the army as thy life
Because a sultan reigns by means of his troops.

The king asked: 'What is the reason for the gathering around of
the troops and the population?' He replied: 'A padshah must practise
justice that they may gather around him and clemency that they may
dwell in safety under the shadow of his government; but thou
possessest neither of these qualities.'

A tyrannic man cannot be a sultan
As a wolf cannot be a shepherd.
A padshah who establishes oppression
Destroys the basis of the wall of his own reign.

The king, displeased with the advice of his censorious vezier,
sent him to prison. Shortly afterwards the sons of the king's uncle
rose in rebellion, desirous of recovering the kingdom of their father.
The population, which had been reduced to the last extremity by the
king's oppression and scattered, now assembled around them and
supported them, till he lost control of the government and they took
possession of it.

A padshah who allows his subjects to be oppressed
Will in his day of calamity become a violent foe.
Be at peace with subjects and sit safe from attacks of foes
Because his subjects are the army of a just shahanshah.

It makes sense

When controversy surrounds
and things blow out of proportion
remember,
that tranquility still makes sense

When tension surrounds
and mind gets exhausted
remember,
that patience still makes sense

When mystery surrounds
and logic takes a backseat
remember,
that reality still makes sense

When laughter surrounds
and the vox gets too loud
remember,
that silence still makes sense

When darkness surrounds
and the heart gets out of rhythm
remember,
that hope still makes sense

The Mouse That Was King

Drum rolls jesters dance, frolic and sing
The crowd waits with excitement for the crowning of the new king
Order order cries the speaker order in the house
From behind the curtain the king sprung out
The crowd gasps in disbelief for king was a tiny little mouse
The king leaped upon the thrown and silenced the crowd
For i am your king said the tiny little mouse
Do not fear me the king cried out
The crowd screamed out with fits of laughter in the house
How can you rule a kingdom your a tiny little mouse
Then from no where at all the king let out a mighty roar
Where did that come from a voice call out
Well we all know it came from this tiny little mouse

A Lasting Peace

True lasting peace God shall birth, on this present troubled earth,
His lasting peace soon will come, through Jesus for a millennium.
Peace will flourish all around; when for a time Satan will be bound,
For a time of one thousand years, He’ll put away all present fears.

It will be a time for all men to see, God’s Glorious King of Eternity,
Reigning per His Father’s will, and from Jerusalem, God’s Holy Hill.
True peace installed shore to shore, by our Savior, Christ The Lord,
Peace in every land and nation, by God’s redemption and salvation.

This peace ushered in by Christ, will indeed affect every single life.
For God’s Righteous Law will be, enforced as His universal decree.
All who oppose the Law of God, will see firsthand Christ’s Iron Rod,
For the rebellious heart of man, in Christ’s Kingdom shall not stand.

All men will be under Christ’s Rule, a Righteous reign far from cruel,
Under Christ’s Millennial Reign, gone shall be man’s terror and pain.
Every nation will have a place, in the kingdom through God’s Grace,
Even Israel’s unrighteous enemies, will have a place in God’s peace.

God’s Millennial Reign of Righteousness, shall usher in eternal bliss,
As Satan bound, will now be cast, into the fire that will eternally last.
Gone shall be death and sin, with only righteousness reigning within,
Each and every soul forevermore, eternally serving Christ their Lord.

Beggars Of Love

i am the king
in my small kingdom
i keep dignity
intact in my
heart

at night i have become
a beggar of love
and so i kneel before you
asking for it

it is the dark that conceals me
my crown and scepter
beneath your feet

i am at your command
and i follow every word
so blindly

it is because of love
and love makes us all slaves
to the pleasures that
it gives

i swallow every pride there is
because i cannot unlearn
this love for you

but it will not be forever
there will be no slaves forever

i shall soon awaken from this sleep
and be myself again

to wear my crown and hold my scepter
and walk again with dignity as my own king
in my small kingdom

i shall keep my name
but how lonely can it be

less the joys and pleasures
less the honesty and ecstasy
less myself,

devoid of everything that shall
make
my kingdom in shambles
into the triumph of the
shameless and
the beasts....

McGonagall's Ode to the King

Oh! God, I thank Thee for restoring King Edward the Seventh's health again,
And let all his subjects throughout the Empire say Amen;
May God guard him by night and day,
At home and abroad, when he's far away.

May angels guard his bed at night when he lies down,
And may his subjects revere him, and on him do not frown;
May he be honoured by them at home and abroad,
And may he always be protected by the Eternal God.

My blessing on his noble form, and on his lofty head,
May all good angels guard him while living and when dead;
And when the final hour shall come to summons him away,
May his soul be wafted to the realms of bliss I do pray.

Long may he reign, happy and serene,
Also his Queen most beautiful to be seen;
And may God guard his family by night and day,
That they may tread in the paths of virtue and not go astray.

May God prosper King Edward the Seventh wherever he goes,
May he always reign victorious over his foes;
Long may he be spared to wear the British Crown,
And may God be as a hedge around him at night when be lies down;
May God inspire him with wisdom, and long may he reign
As Emperor of India and King Edward the VII. --Amen.

Midde Kingdom

everybody owns
a middle kingdom
in which one is born king
where one measures
the world and manoevres oneself
ahead of the rest, the race
the flame might waver
flicker to a little light blue
near to petering out
but as soon as the air steadies
it jumps back to show you
how tall you can actually be
if you could hold on to your dream
never giving up come rain or shine
the one middle kingdom
so well guarded no one would
even realise it is there layer by layer
inch by inch constructed
by its one and only king
the rest might be better
work, women or soccer
but this middle kingdom
never once would the sun rise
without his mighty plans

Princess And The Black Horse(Final Fight-I)

And they decided to start the fight at midnight,
as the wand would work then with brilliant spark.
To unriddle the mystery of dark reign of magician,
they had to kindle the light, to annihilate power dark.

Evening called night, and night sat with blackness,
and darkest became the kingdom of prince's father.
The princess, promised to call him, prince of light,
as dark denotes, night, blackness, evil power, rather.

The King opened a box of story, which told princess,
theirs was the kingdom of Light, full of peace, gay.
It was said, the sun never sets in his happy kingdom.
But, a magician came to that king's court one day.

He played trick of black magic, and covered the sun,
blocking the rays of the sun, he set his own reign.
By his power of witchery, he made the king a lion,
turning queen, to lioness, the prince a horse in chain.

Insidious was he, sold the prince in a witch-fair.
Sordid was his mind, without hesitation he became king.
In the unknown realm the prince as a dark horse,
was bought from the fair, and in king's stable did bring.

Chains Of Misery

Theres a madman in the corner of your eye
He likes to pry - into the sunlight
He wants to burst into the streets with you and i
A world of shadows and of rain
Hes seen what love is...
He wants to pay back with guilt...
He lies to you he wont let you be
Hes got your chains of misery
He wont be still till hes turned your key
He holds your chains of misery
Theres a prophet in the gutter in the street
He say youre damned and you believe him...
Hes got a vision but it shines out through your eyes
A world of hatred and fear...
Hes felt what love means...
He wants to pay you back with pain...
He lies to you he wont let you be
Hes got your chains of misery
He wont be still till hes turned your key
He holds your chains of misery
Its only love that holds the key to our hearts
Its only love...
He lies to you he wont let you be
Hes got your chains of misery
He wont be still till hes turned your key
He holds your chains of misery
He lies to you he wont let you be
Hes got your chains of misery
He wont be still till hes turned your key
He holds your chains of misery

The Faith of Baha'i

We cling to multiple identities;
Such identities impel us to show
Loyalties based on identities.
Multi-loyalties bring conflict in us.

Loyalties propel us to side or fight.
Religions and politics take much toll.
Language and territories are not behind.
Racial identities still raise their heads.

Leave identities; leave loyalties.
Both tell that you are led by prejudices.
A world community formed without them
Is what Baha'u'lla'h preached as his faith.

Ch 01 Manner of Kings Story 28

A solitary dervish was sitting in a corner of the desert when a padshah happened to pass by but, ease having made him independent, he took no notice. The sultan, in conformity with his royal dignity, became angry and said: "This tribe of rag-wearers resembles beasts."’ The vezier said: "The padshah of the surface of the earth has passed near thee. Why hast thou not paid homage and shown good manners?" He replied: "Tell the king to look for homage from a man who expects benefits from him and also that kings exist for protecting subjects and subjects not for obeying kings."

The padshah is the guardian of the dervish
Although wealth is in the glory of his reign.
The sheep is not for the shepherd
But the shepherd for the service of it.
Today thou beholdest one man prosperous
And another whose heart is wounded by struggling.
Wait a few days till the earth consumes
The brain in the head of the visionary.
Distinction between king and slave has ceased
When the decree of fate overtakes them.
If a man were to open the tombs of the dead
He would not distinguish a rich from a poor man.

The king, who was pleased with the sentiments of the dervish, asked him to make a request but he answered that the only one he had to make was to be left alone. The king then asked for advice and the dervish said:

"Understand now while wealth is in thy hand
That fortune and kingdom will leave thy hand."

God’s Chief Mountain

Soon the Chief of mountains will be, Mount Zion, through all Eternity,
And in the Chief of every mountain, God will put a cleansing fountain,
To cleanse David’s Clan from sin, so they can minister to all for Him,
And to Jerusalem all men will go, from where all God’s Laws will flow.

God’s Eternal City was renown, for all the bloodshed that was found,
Will become God’s City of Peace, once established, it will not cease.
As Messiah will reign from that Hill, as God’s promise He does fulfill,
Promised to Abraham, God’s friend; in Christ’s Rule that will not end.

This Mount will be raised over all, over every mountain, big and small,
Upon this Mount will reign just one, God’s Eternal, only begotten Son.
Reigning from King David’s Throne, over all the world and God’s Own,
And this Mountain, God has raised, by all the nations shall be praised.

Nations shall learn war no more, under the guidance of Christ our Lord,
And weapons of war will be turned into, utensils of life for me and you,
As God installs His Righteous King, who will justly rule over everything.
All from Jerusalem, not The Holy See, where Christ shall reign eternally.

The only Prophet, Priest and King, with lasting peace only He can bring,
God’s Peace, which will be Millennial, from God’s established Holy Hill,
The very Mountain chosen by God, from all those upon this earthly sod,
To establish the Throne of our Lord, from where He’ll reign forevermore.

The Words That I Have Not Written

for the words i have not written
i accept i have been a coward
the moment these words become transparent
in my mind, i always tell them gently
i have not the strength to write you
you have become subjects beyond
my power and please understand
the consequences of having to write
all of you: waiting to be printed and read

like the Sphinx and its riddle before
Oedipus, if i were to write all of you
i may be able to save a kingdom in distress

but please understand what happens to me next
for like Oedipus i may be compelled to pluck my eyes out
from my face
and i may roam the earth begging for forgiveness
throughout my life
because i have been blind by fate for all those years

writing you is honesty
and it is this honesty that may at the end kill me
and so
i am very sorry

The Divine Right Of Kings

The only king by right divine
Is Ellen King, and were she mine
I'd strive for liberty no more,
But hug the glorious chains I wore.

Her bosom is an ivory throne,
Where tyrant virtue reigns alone ;
No subject vice dare interfere,
To check the power that governs here.

O! would she deign to rule my fate,
I'd worship Kings and kingly state,
And hold this maxim all life long,
The King — my King — can do no wrong.
