Heavy wish
On rising Pooram, on Ninth, June,
I wish you a happy birthday.
Let my wish fetch you all fortunes
As did my wish last year,
Which has cast you in many hues,
And this will cast on you all the bliss.
Those studs have stood as a talisman.
Its service to you is Yeoman.
Memories can be forgotten;
But they cannot be rubbed out.
Our relation too.
With that I depart, with heavy heart,
After you left me a year ago.
In feeding the child, mother is warmer.
In wishing you, I am warmer.

The Warmer Side Of Cool
(jack hues)
Well Im sitting on a hillside
On the warmer side of cool
With the future laid before me
Like a green and misty jewel
And to climb above the tree line
Is only for the fools
So they say
So they say
Chorus:
On the warmer side of cool
What you feel in your heart is all
On the warmer side of cool
Being cool its so easy to be cold
Well Im sitting by the seaside
On the warmer side of cool
With the ocean spread before me
Like a blue and misty jewel
And if I jump into the water
Would an angel break my fall
So they say
So they say
On the warmer side of cool
What you feel in your heart is all
Im sorry if I offend you
If Im a little bit intense
But I never did intend us
To be sitting on the fence
And even though Im guilty
Of making total sense
Im happy when its all
On the warmer side of cool
Repeat chorus
It aint cool to be cold

Happy birthday(cruel undertone reveled)
Happy birthday today you were born,
happy birthday you die a little more,
happy birthday here's to another year of suffering,
happy birthday eat some yummy cake while you slowly deteriorate,
happy birthday your dying as we speak,
isn't it ironic that we are celebrating your birth while were also celebrating your death,
so happy birthday today
your turn 15
I wish you a less suffering year
and a nice peaceful death

Happy Birthday Hon
Happy Birthday Hon
And Happy 10th year Wedding Anniversary too!
We met in the year 1998
We got maried in 1999;
You were such a sweet fellow
This is why you enticed me.
How many times did I tell you
That I love you very much?
I love you then and
I love you now,
more today than yesterday
and more and more everyday of our life;
Happy Birthday Hon!
My love for you grows
every second, every minute
every hour;
Happy Birthday Hon;
Come Hold me tight;
kiss me my darling
and Hug me on your birthday night;
Happy Birthday Hon;
and you know what's next
Let them all imagine
while we enjoy your birthday night!
I love you!

With a blink of an eye

You are a year older
Don't worry, you'll live longer

Her Birth Day
The thirty - third birth day
that anitha, the lady, celebrates
on pooram, this may, ninety-nine,
be the day to her of many returns
and, all the rest too be like this one,
which has brought her since the last one
new animation and elation.
We wish her what she wishes to have.

Birthday Wishes
Don't need candles twinkling in the dark
To see the wishful sparkle in your eyes,
I can feel the magic rainbows in your heart
The innocence that seems so wise,
I hope you'll never change the inner you,
You're really perfect just the way you are
The universe surrounds you with many opportunities
Look up and wish upon your star.
And while you're making wishes,
I love to give my heart to you,
It's a true music and love
And happiness and everything divine
And forever more fantasies galore
May it last throughout all time,
Remember sad days in years ahead,
To use your dream to reach that wishing star.
Those of us around you, surround you with loving kindness,
I love you for all you are
And you're making wishes,
Wishing you Happy return of your birthday.
Here's just one or two
May each passing year to filled with love and happiness
May your dream come true,
Any May you achieve and acquire all that you desire.

New Things Are Best
What shall I tell you, child, in this new Sonnet?
Life's art is to forget, and last year's sowing
Cast in Time's furrow with the storm winds blowing
Bears me a wild crop with strange fancies on it.
Last year I wore your sole rose in my bonnet.
This year--who knows--who, even the All--knowing,
What to my vagrant heart, for its undoing,
Of weeds shall blossom ere my tears atone it?
--New Spring is in the air with new desirings;
New wonders fructify Earth, Sea, and Heaven,
And happy birds sing loud from a new nest.
Ah, why then grieve Love's recreant aspirings,
His last year's hopes, his vows forgot, forgiven?
Child, be we comforted! New things are best.

Well, its time to celebrate your birthday, it happens every year
Well eat a lot of broccoli and drink a lot of beer
You should be good and happy that theres something you can eat
A million npeople every day are starving in the street
Your daddys in the gutter with the wretched and the poor
Your mamas in the kitchen with a can of cycle four
Theres garbage in the water
Theres poison in the sky
I guess it wont be long before were all gonna die

Well, whats the matter little friend, you think this party is the pits
Enjoy it while you can, well soon be blown to bits
The monkeys in the pentagon are gonna cook our goose
Their fingers on the button, all they need it an excuse
It doesnt take a military genius to see
Well all be crispy critters after world war iii
Theres nowhere you can run to, nowhere you can hide
When they drop the big one, we all get fried
(come on boys and girls, sing along, ok? )

Wow! (background screaming, sound effect)
Well theres a punk in the alley and hes looking for a fight
Theres an arab on the corner buying everything in sight
Theres a mother in the ghetto with another mouth to feed
Seems that everywhere you look today theres misery and greed
I guess you know the earth is gonna crash into the sun
But thats no reason why we shouldnt have a little fun
So if you think its scary, if its more than you can take
Just blow out the candles and have a piece of cake

Happy Birthday Tara
Every year we celebrate
the birth of our lives,
but as we get older
we start counting back the years.
When we have reached, twenty-one
we want it to remain
for the rest of our lives.
However, today is someone’s birthday
and only a tad older than twenty-one.
She has good reason to celebrate
with world in the palm of her hand.
She is bubbling with love,
a romance going strong.
Her life is on the up.
Today she will wake up
with love filling her eyes.
A new dawning year
with what surprises lie ahead for her.
I can only hope
there are many good ones there,
for Tara it is your birthday today.
May I say Happy Birthday,
hoping there are may more happy ones to come.
Have a wonderful day
filled with pleasant surprises
and lots of kisses from your true love.
Happy Birthday Tara.
Have a great day my friend.
Love and Hugs and kisses too.

Happy Birthday Ernestine
While I was at Stratford last year,
I met a number of pretty young ladies
while I was there.
I say young ladies
as they were all young ladies to me
and Ernestine was one
of those young ladies I met there.
I got and gave a hug,
and I am hoping for the same this year,
but for now, it is your birthday.
My how time does fly around.
Happy Birthday and I hope
it will be remembered
as being one of the best
with a gathering of family and friends
around to help you see it through.
This little Birthday poem
comes from me to you,
to wish you a super Happy Birthday Ernestine.
May the happiness of today
be with you all the year through.
Happy Birthday Ernestine

The Talisman
Where the sea forever dances
Over lonely cliff and dune,
Where sweet twilight's vapor glances
In a warmer-glowing moon,
Where with the seraglio's graces
Daylong toys the Mussulman,
An enchantress 'mid embraces
Handed me a talisman.
'Mid embraces I was bidden:
"Guard this talisman of mine:
In it secret power is hidden!
Love himself has made it thine.
Neither death nor ills nor aging,
My beloved, does it ban,
Nor in gales and tempest raging
Can avail my talisman.
Never will it help thee gather
Treasures of the Orient coast,
Neither to thy harness tether
Captives of the Prophet's host;
Nor in sadness will it lead thee
To a friendly bosom, nor
From this alien southland speed thee
To the native northern shore.
"But whenever eyes designing
Cast on thee a sudden spell,
In the darkness lips entwining
Love thee not, but kiss too well:
Shield thee, love, from evil preying,
From new heart-wounds---that it can,
From forgetting, from betraying
Guards thee this my talisman."

Happy Birthday JoAnn
It’s that time of year for someone
when the birthday bells ring out.
Oh, yes JoAnn, my Lil sis,
it’s your birthday.
I hope this birthday brings with it a year
of happiness and good cheer.
That you will get all the things your heart desires.
We all have dreams and I know you do to,
I am hoping and praying all yours will come true.
Although you are thousands miles away,
I wish I could be there to celebrate with you.
As that is impossible at the moment anyway,
I will send some love, hugs and kisses your way.
Happy Birthday Lil sis.
Happy Birthday JoAnn.
Have a great Day and a wonderful time.
Love and Hugs Big Bruv.

The Old Year
The Old Year's gone away
To nothingness and night:
We cannot find him all the day
Nor hear him in the night:
He left no footstep, mark or place
In either shade or sun:
The last year he'd a neighbour's face,
In this he's known by none.
All nothing everywhere:
Mists we on mornings see
Have more of substance when they're here
And more of form than he.
He was a friend by every fire,
In every cot and hall -
A guest to every heart's desire,
And now he's nought at all.
Old papers thrown away,
Old garments cast aside,
The talk of yesterday,
All things identified;
But times once torn away
No voices can recall:
The eve of New Year's Day
Left the Old Year lost to all.

Wishing you a very good day,
Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday,

And a lot more smiles everyday,
Only today is your special day
Until next year the same day,
I wish you again Happy Birthday!

Mirror, Mirror, Please Forgive Me.
It's late at night, I'm alone again, every night's the same
And I know the reason why; I've just myself to blame
Stagger to the bathroom, to wash and get ready for bed
Drunk again, I'll never learn, how i'm going to sort out my head
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, please don't cast your seven-year curse
lt seems each time I look at you, I appear a little bit worse
I brush my teeth and I nod support, across to my red-eyed will
Again we pledge, the time has come, self-promises to fulfil
Uttered oft, but seldom loud, only us as witness
These resolutions I set myself, to test my moral fitness
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, please don't cast your seven-year curse
lt seems each time I look at you, I appear a little bit worse
I can't go on, the way I do, it's got to come to an end
Or maybe I'm already to far gone, With no more hope of amend
Should I submit, declare defeat, admit that my self-esteem is roten
For I know, with all guilt ignored, in the morning, all of this will be forgotten
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, please don't cast your seven-year curse
lt seems each time I look at you, I appear a little bit worse

Workin' Man (Nowhere To Go)
Wishing well, wish me well
on a dream bought with a penny
wishing well, time will tell
I can see that there are so many
lonely faces stare from your pool
and I can\'t bear to see a fool tonight
so make it right wishing well
wishing well, could you tell, as I stood beside her
did you know she would go
then why did you hide it
if you knew then I\'d be without her now
you could have let me know somehow
can\'t wish and tell, wishing well
wishing well, cast a spell, send her love\'s sweet emotion
do your part, touch her heart with truest devotion
If there\'s a chance, I won\'t believe we\'re thru
show me wishes still come true
it\'s up to you, wishing well
Show me wishes still come true,
It\'s up to you, wishing well
its up to you, wishing well
it\'s up to you, wishing well
