Every woman is a poet.
A mother is a poet so all women are.
A mother is a singer so all women are.
But in literatures male poets abound.
Only men are hungry of identity.

Male parental hierarchy.
My parents are two, grandparents four
And great grandparents, eight and so on.
I am known by my father, his father,
And his father and so on by male side.
My mother, her mother and father, their
Mother and father and so on are ignored.
My fathers’ mother and grandfather’s
Mother and so on go to oblivion.
I am known by my father, his father
And his father and so on as a family.
All women from whom I have drawn
Their genes have been shut out.
Parental hierarchy is represented
By male, women dislodged at every stage.

Deity
Mother Saraswatee is prayed in each family;
Guys, girls, women, men pray gaily.
Mother smiles on the altar;
Blessth devotees, fulfils desire.
The vast blue sky is clear;
Encourages poets to derive pleasure.
Poets pen various beauteous poems delightfully;
Film stars dance gaily.
Singers sing melodious songs peacefully;
People enjoy the songs gaily.
Wife waits for husband’s kiss.
Derives mother’s Heavenly Bliss.
Innocence women reigns on Earth;
Vernal season is an Ocean of mirth.
Vernal Breeze kisses all the creatures;
Mother fulfils all innocent creatures’ desires.
Poets chant mother’s hymns devotionally;
Children recite Mother’s name delightfully.
Mother is the Deity of Deities;
She is an Ocean of Gaiety.

Temptation to tempt
She’s her mother but looks like her sister
And her grand mother looks like her mother.
Women have grown more conscious of their looks.
Courtesy to their temptation to tempt.

Mother’s Temple
Vavroovahana Patra
Mother Mahalaxmi attracts the chaste women, goldy devotees;
She provides rays of delight.
Her shrine smiles in the lap of Nature;
Endowed with fragrant lotus Mother contents real devotee’s desire.
Mother’s temple dazzles with various coloured lights;
Her shrine is a perennial brook of delight.
Mother’s temple dazzles beneath the blue sky;
In real devotees mother penetrates rays of gay.
Sanctity, purity, tranquillity pervades in the air;
Mother fulfils poets’, devotees’, innocent chaste poor women’s desire
Poet derives profound pleasure;
On the solitary shrine, contents spiritual desire.

From the House of Yemanjá
My mother had two faces and a frying pot
where she cooked up her daughters
into girls
before she fixed our dinner.
My mother had two faces
and a broken pot
where she hid out a perfect daughter
who was not me
I am the sun and moon and forever hungry
for her eyes.
I bear two women upon my back
one dark and rich and hidden
in the ivory hungers of the other
mother
pale as a witch
yet steady and familiar
brings me bread and terror
in my sleep
her breasts are huge exciting anchors
in the midnight storm.
All this has been
before
in my mother's bed
time has no sense
I have no brothers
and my sisters are cruel.
Mother I need
mother I need
mother I need your blackness now
as the august earth needs rain.
I am
the sun and moon and forever hungry
the sharpened edge
where day and night shall meet
and not be
one.

In The Mind Of A Woman
In the mind of a woman a mother you'll find
For women are loving and caring and kind
The mothering instincts to women belong
Than men less aggressive and more mentally strong,
The men celebrate when the battle is won
But the mother is left for to grieve for her son
She did not raise her son for to be sent afar
For to fight and to die in another man's war
In patriarchal societies deprived of renown
By arrogant males women are still kept down
The mother, the lover, the devoted wife
Without women there would not be human life
The males do compete for the chief of the clan
But it does take a woman for to raise the man.

Women Can't Drive
It’s NOT against the law
BUT women can’t drive –
DON’t ask why
Women must be driven
by husband
or adult male member in their family
or by male chauffer
or by male chauvinist
STOP! Woman driver protester
It’s not against the law
BUT police looking for you
Why?
Women can’t drive

04. Beautiful Women
young women, old women
in their heart
despite the years
the yearning to be beautiful
young women, old women
they look at each other
one with envy
the other with fear and contempt (of the wrinkles, old age)
young women, old women
they look into each other
one for a mother
the other for a daughter

Ocean of wisdom Vavroovahana Patra
Mother Vinapanee blessth to make wise;
Illiterates’ become wise with her bliss.
Appears in profound solitude;
Loves poets’ gratitude.
Mother is a Divine Deity;
Is the cause of Earth’s Beauty.
With her bliss poet’s name dazzles in passes of history;
She is a Broke of Delight.
With her bliss poets are immortal on Earth;
Her love is an Ocean of mirth.
Mother loves poets, singers, film stars;
With profound love she contents their desires.
Mother provides inspiration to live peacefully;
People being educated live delightfully.
Provides qualitative education;
Is the benevolent Deity of creation.
Mother eradicates illiteracy;
In all people plays waves of delight.
Poet’s surrender on the feet of Mother;
Contents poet’s desire.

Lorcas Novena
Ignacio lay dying in the sand
A single red rose clutched in a dying hand
The women wept to see their hero die
And the big black birds gathered in the sky
Mother of all our joys, mother of all our sorrows
Intercede with him tonight
For all of our tomorrows
The years went by and then the killers came
And took the men and marched them up the hill of pain
And lorca the faggot poet they left till last
Blew his brains out with a pistol up his arse
Mother of all our joys, mother of all our sorrows
Intercede with him tonight
For all of our tomorrows
The killers came to mutilate the dead
But ran away in terror to search the town instead
But lorcas corpse, as he had prophesied, just walked away
And the only sound was the women in the chapel praying
Mother of all our joys, mother of all our sorrows
Intercede with him tonight
For all of our tomorrows

Mother In Law
(a. toussaint)
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
The worst person I know
Mother in law, mother in law
She worries me so
Mother in law, mother in law
If she leaves us alone
We could have a happy home
Sent from down below
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Satan should be her name
Mother in law, mother in law
To me theyre about the same
Mother in law, mother in law
Everytime I open my mouth
Steps in trying to put me out
How could you stood so low
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law
Come home with my pay
Mother in law, mother in law
She asks me what I made
Mother in law, mother in law
She thinks her advice is a contribution
If she would leave that would be the solution
Dont come back no more
Mother in law, mother in law
Mother in law, mother in law....

I grew up in a house full of women: my mother, grandmother, three sisters, and two female cats. And I still have the buzz of their conversations in my head. As an adult, I have more female friends than male ones: I just love the way that women talk.

Mother Mother Mother
How you cared for us. Don't keep away from us.I won't surive without you/ Mother Mother Mother Your eyes show me the way. When I fall on my way. You lend me a hand to carry on. Mother Mother Mother You had a very hard life. But you gave your baby your own bread from your own mouth. When she feels hungry. Mother Mother Mother If I pass though this word. I wouldn't find you anywhere. Your sweet smile makes me happy. Mother Mother Mother My love for you will go on forever. My Wife Treats Was Like My Mother
Mother
Did you know how much you look great
On those dress of pink.
I know mother
Your dreams was to become a country singer
But, did you know mother
That, you are my favourite singer.
You look so gorgeous
When you are feeding your sons.
And you look so angel
When you prepare meals for me.
OH! Mother
I will remember you even if I died of remembering.

A mother makes her daughter's life
The hell that she had been while young.
Then the mother-in-law takes over it.
Women are jailors to the women jailed.

Mother, Mother
Mother, Mother
are you crying?
Come and look,
the roses are dying.
Mother, Mother
I am hungry.
Come and see,
the dishes are piling.
Mother, Mother
I am lonely.
Come and hear,
My heart's key is snapping.
Mother, Mother
are you sleeping?
Come and run,
Let's play in the sun once more.
