Defensive Mechanisms

Fevouritism, nepotism,
Prejudices and selfishness
Are defensive mechanisms
One employs at all stages.

Nepotism and Jealousy

Feelings for nepotism are inborn.
Feelings for jealousy are inborn.
From the insecure feelings, they're born.
Both are survival techniques one employs.

Stages

Its a fine time to fall in love with you,
I aint got a single thing to do.
It happened before I knew what was going on.
I fell out and knew that I was gone.
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.
Then you left me standing all alone,
I couldnt even get you on the phone.
Were you just confused and didnt know
If you should stay or if you had to go?
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.
Now youre back and say youre gonna stay.
I wouldnt have it any other way.
Tell me its for real and let me know
Why does lovin have to come and go.
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.

Prejudices are so to speak the mechanical instincts of men: through their prejudices they do without any effort many things they would find too difficult to think through to the point of resolving to do them.

Self Praise Stages

When people are in their self praise stages...
They should be given the attention.
Today...
Very few people have hobbies,
Or interests that makes them feel proud.

When people are in their self praise stages...
They should be given the attention.
There is something about people like this,
Others would say are egotistical.
I find them to be inspirational.

So many of the others are caught up,
In backstabbings, defamation of character...
And deep they are in self deception.
So whenever I am around those,
Who are in their self praise stages...
I am amazed they are not professing a self hate.
Or in the reception of doubts and complaints.

However...
Those on stages self praising themselves,
Is a different perspective.
These folks don't have time to be introspective.
Self praising from stages most get paid to do.
This can be compared to individuals,
Who have been 'called' to administer...
A self righteousness affixed to wholesome boredom.

Man’s hand and mouth.

Man employs his fingers on her body,
By which a woman is fed.
He employs his mouth on her body
By which he himself is fed.
Man is a creator-cum- consumer
Of pleasure in a fore play.

Selfishness and sacrifice

Selfishness and sacrifices,
Like cold and heat, eat each other.
Either extreme would cause damage.
Selfishness is for one’s survival.
Sacrifice is for one’s group’s survival.
To force others to serve your end
Is worse than selfishness; avoid.
Be warm, which is half cold, half hot.

That preserves the self and its babes.
To serve the others also is a part
Of selfishness. Don’t escape it.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices -- to be found in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own -- for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

We've All Been Greedy

Those peaceful nights for some have passed.
Those feeling safe...
In sheltered communities behind closed gates.
Are awakening.
But not to Robins singing.
To peer from behind French customed made doors.
Swinging out onto the patio.
Overlooking acres upon acres upon more acres,
Of freshly cut grass.

These awareness days have come upon us fast.
Who would believe such a quick erasing,
Of a way of life....
Would come to pass.
And leave those embittered with much grief,
With streaks of torment on twisted faces.
Disgraced and now nervously pacing.
In wait.
But for what?
When the 'why' of it has arrived too late!

We've been greedy.
See what gluttony does when it can't be overcomed.
We've been greedy,
And feeding on our selfishness.
While ripping the hearts out of those to sustain it.
Doing everything to gain more and maintain it.

We've been greedy!
And..
The stinging of the realness,
Persists.
And can not be contained.
Acts of civil madness...
Spreads fast!

Thousands go out of their minds.
Many more are trapped!

Something in their minds have snapped.
Only those exposed to fantasies,
Are observed doing that.

And a waste of explanation can not bring them back!
Their self delusions have attacked.

Leaving us all affected by that 'fat'!
Yes fat!

Undisciplined rascists...
Tearing each other apart,
While laying lazily on our backs...
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Yes...
Greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger,
But never better than the rest.
Greedy!
Yes...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.

We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger
But never better than the rest.
Just so greedy!
Yes...
And bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Yes...
And,
Greedy!
Yes!
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
A sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.

We've
ALL
Been
Greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
Yes...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
Sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.

We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.

Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.

Letting Things Be As They Should

Why can't people just know things?
Without the need,
To have others explore...
The depths of their experiences.
With proof that they too,
Have chanced upon such revelations.

If shared inducements have come to seduce,
Those of like minds.
It should be received without preconceptions.
Or applied digressive tests...
Empty of benefit.
And manifesting nothing given.

To lay at rest,
Profess confessions.
As defensive mechanisms.
With pretensions,
Eventually...
To be excused and withdrawn.
Knowing a hunger stays craved.

Time wasted moves on.
And does not linger for them,
Who lay awaiting in shadows...
For a piece to complete,
Desires yearned to be touched!
Wanted much but left to discretion.
To become repeated in a self deception.

Why can't people just know things?
Express them...
To find they are not alone.
Letting go.
Allowing someone to know...
What flows within,
Can and will be condoned.

If they left things to be shown.
To manifest connections on their own.
And be accepted...
In the reception of blessings.
To let things be as they should.
Without the interference of enticements...
Misunderstood by mixed signals sent!

Freudian Stages of Psychosexual Development of Personality

Freud found oral, anal, phallic
and genital stages of a child frolic
for his personality to grow
and if these driving forces act slow
we'll see ill-grown minds, vitriolic.

The 'Nets' show the clips of these stages to the youth.
What a Gallic charm they get seeing the truth!
