Civilization’s life
In the mansion of civilization,
Errors are cracks and amendments, repair.
Additions are borrowed to stay in race.
Yet it is bound to die from other forces.

Song: On Borrowed Time
We're all living on borrowed time,
Near the brooding sea and brine.
And we grow our primate's spine,
In every clime.
Since we crawled out from 'neath the grime,
And evolved to a species – prime.
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.
On borrowed time. We feed and dine.
On borrowed time. In swill like swine.
On borrowed time. We sup our wine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!
On borrowed time. In slow decline.
On borrowed time. No season shines.
On borrowed time. No reason rhymes.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!
We're all living on borrowed time,
Acting out our roles in mime,
As if you cannot tell that I'm confused.
We're all living on borrowed time,
And we're captured hook and line.
Enraptured lives entwine as minds unloose.
On borrowed time, by frantic chime,
Of doomsday clocks and scam sub-prime.
On borrowed time, we count the dime.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!
From that day of Eve's droll crime,
When dull Adam su*ked the lime,
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.
On borrowed time. By dread defined.
On borrowed time. Knee-deep in slime.
On borrowed time. We moan and whine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!
On borrowed time. To heights sublime.
On borrowed time. Statistics climb.
On borrowed time. Who reads the signs?
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

Errors
there will be always errors
my errors
not yours, even your errors
shall be mine
for there will always be errors
that is too normal
for our lifetime
too short to be erroneous
but always real
too real to be touched
too exciting
to be always noticed
and too numb to be affected
by their
hypocrisies
you too? oh my, why?
don't you like to be the most normal
bird with only two wings
to fly?
how can you use a third wing?
to see with the third eye
aren't you funny to see
on this third
excess?
come, let us feast on these errors
drink these glasses of errors
be filled and vomit with errors
defecate these errors
and be empty again
after having learned so much
to become the
newest genius in this town
of errors.

I'll Repair For You
So you got dry rot and your water pressure's weak
Your trash compactor's broke, the roof has sprung a leak
You just found out your toilet's overflowed
And your smoke detector's smoking and your heater's gonna explode
But
I'll repair for you (when the roof starts to fall)
I'll repair for you (all the cracks in your wall)
I'll repair for you (every nail, bolt and screw)
Your washer's busted and your faucet drips all night
You got some termites with a healthy appetite
Well have no fear, i'll patch up every hole
And i'm licensed and i'm bonded, even se habla espanol
So
I'll repair for you (when your doorknob is loose)
I'll repair for you (when your plunger's no use)
I'll repair for you (with a caulk and hot glue)
I am prepared to tackle all kinds of paste and spackle
You got a leaky shower, i'll be there in an hour
With stucco, bricks and plaster, i am a jedi master
We'll help you through your crisis
Check out our low, low prices too, yeah
Your floors are sagging and your plumbing's shot
But if you don't mind my hairy butt crack every time that i squat
I'll repair for you, anything that you need
I'll repair for you, and my word's guaranteed
I'll repair for you, i'll rewire it too
I'll repair for you
I'll repair for you
I'll repair for you, every nail, bolt and screw

This has not been a legislative process worthy of the Senate. Members of the Judiciary Committee, as I just said, were implored to save their amendments for the floor. Then, when we got here, we were told no amendments could be accepted.

Civilization is not a spontaneous generation with any race or nation known to history, but the torch to be handed down from race to race from age to age.

There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight.

Babylon II
Babylon is the location where civilization began,
And i will wake up to the facts to learn about your muse;
But be yourself without any artificial additions.
The imagination of man's heart is evil always,
But the Creator is merciful to us all;
And think about Babylon today and learn from it,
For it is like passing the bloom of your youth.

If aliens from outer space ever come and we show them our civilization and they make fun of it, we should say we were just kidding, that this isn't really our civilization, but a gag we hoped they would like. Then we tell them to come back in twenty years to see our REAL civilization. After that, we start a crash program of coming up with an impressive new civilization. Either that, or just shoot down the aliens as they're waving good-bye.

Borrowed Time
Heard it many times.
Heard it said before.
'your living on borrowed Time'
Sometimes I wonder.
What do people mean?
By it
Your living on
Borrowed time.
I can
Soft of understand.
Time is not always borrowed.
It can be given
Then taken away
So I guess that mostly
Time is borrowed
borrowed time

Before we can build a stable civilization worthy of humanity as a whole, it is necessary that each historical civilization should become conscious of its limitations and it's unworthiness to become the ideal civilization of the world.

Nations have recently been led to borrow billions for war; no nation has ever borrowed largely for education... no nation is rich enough to pay for both war and civilization. We must make our choice; we cannot have both.

I am' poem
I am the dog bound by a collar
I wonder what is beyond this wooden fence
I hear the sound of cars in the distance
I see, through the cracks, people passing
I want to be free from this collar bound by chains
I am the dog bound by a collar
I pretend to be beyond the fence
I feel the grass between my paws
I touch the dirt beneith the grass
I worry of what will become of me
I cry in worry on a moonlit night
I am the dog bound be a collar
I understand the life of a dog
I say no to the life
I dream about leaving this yard
I try to leave, but fail
I hope that I, to, can be free from these chains
I am the dog bound by a collar.

Moon's Song
I race sunsets, I wear out sunbeams
I am the madness inside of every desire
I tiptoe in motes that hold distant promises
Tossing little secrets to winds of change
I harness the sun away from his days,
His evenings bound to my silver mane
Dusks churn out from our brilliance together
And then I dance in, queen of your nights
I haze your mind under my lunar gaze
And draw you out of your languid life
I sweep out wishes and pour them into days
And have the sun catch them, to bring them alive
I am the goddess of tides and waves
Your allegiance to me is bound by the forces
The Sun and Earth birthed you into this world
But it was me you were destined, to find your dreams…

Homeward Bound
I want to sit at home in my rockin chair
I dont want to travel the world
As far as Im concerned Ive had my share
But times more precious than gold
I dont wanna see another airplane seat
Or another hotel room
The home life to me seems really neat
I just wanna unpack for good
Buy me a ticket homeward bound (homeward bound)
Buy me a ticket homeward bound (oh homeward bound
Well it all seems the same when youve done it before
Theres no difference in the style
Theres no end insight or my own front door
Ill be a stay at home for awhile
So Ill have another drink and a cigarette
Just to console myself some how
Its not too bad if you can forget
Ive just got to find a way somehow
Buy me a ticket homeward bound (homeward bound)
Buy me a ticket homeward bound (oh homeward bound
Buy me a ticket homeward bound (homeward bound)

Human Lab
Half-buried in a mud pit,
a polluter bares all, body and soul.
Hands bound, ready to be stoned
to death.
A god was going to kill a god.
A dense judgement of planet green
of an unreliable sun
scribbling a code of conduct.
My god, I will go insane.
Save my woods I say. How can
be the adam was so naked running
in a race gene altered?
My arthritic fingers again lift
a mansion of gold leaves, dissolving
the sky.

Mansion Over The Hilltop
(words & music by ira stamphill)
Im satisfied with just a cottage below
A little silver and a little gold
But in that city where the ransomed will shine
I want a gold one thats silver lined
Ive got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where well never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold
Dont think me poor or deserted or lonely
Im not discouraged Im heaven bound
Im but a pilgrim in search of the city
I want a mansion, a harp and a crown
Ive got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where well never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold
