Character building
Do what is right, not what is easy.
Say what is true, not what is pleasing..
Think what is good, not what is feverouble.
It is character building.

It's Not Easy
It's not easy when the sight of me makes you queasy.
Please believe me I'm not sleazy.
All in all I'm quite pleasing.
I know I annoy.
In someways still I'm just a boy.
It's not easy knowing you're a joke.
Deep inside I'm hurt and broke.
You're far too good. I'm far too bad.
The thought of this makes me sad.
It's not easy being a freak.
No one listens when I speak.
I'm far too strange and oblique.
It's not easy being ugly.
I wish I were at least plainly.
It isn't easy not being good enough,
for someone who's so fair and tough.
I wish with me you weren't so gruff.
It's not easy knowing that I'll never be,
someone you love and truly need.
It's not easy, you must agree,
to be a guy that's just like me.

Good Character
I once sojourned in a land,
Seeking for solution to my bewildermernt.
The more I probed, the more I was confused.
Why do some fail where others succeed?
I called upon the deep to open my eyes
Suddenly, I found honour as the offspring
Of good character,
I also discorvered that success
Is embeded in good attitude
I then concluded that:
Good character is the torchlight to our paths
Good attitude is like a garment we wear daily
Through which people measure us
It is the mirror of our lives
I now know that good character
Is the backbone of success
Your father may have plenty
Like the Altilantic ocean
Your mother may have fleet of ships
You may have great inheritance
If you lacked good character
Your success will be like putrefied eggs
People will run away from
Like an isolated leper.
So, in all your ways
Be of good character

Thin Line
I thought the time was passed when I could
Find beauty in a birds
I set the stage and the scenery
Rehearsing every word
Yeah but when I tried to make it more
Well it was always less
And its a thin line between pleasing yourself
And pleasing somebody else
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
All right
With my confidence on fire
I set to fixin up my roles
My separation of desires
Just left me deeper down in the hole
Yeah when I tried to make it more
Well it was always less
And its a thin line between pleasing yourself
And pleasing somebody else
Yeah and when I tried to make it more
Well it was always less
Its a thin line between pleasing yourself
And pleasing somebody else
Now Im tryin to get back
To what I know that I should be
Hoping to God that I was just
A temporary absentee
Yeah when I tried to make it more
Well it was always less
Its a thin line between pleasing yourself
And pleasing somebody else
Yeah when I tried to make it more
Well it was always less
And its a thin line between pleasing yourself
And pleasing somebody else
Somebody else oh yeah
Oh yeah
All right

Dont Worry About The Government
I see the clouds that move across the sky
I see the wind that moves the clouds away
It moves the clouds over by the building
I pick the building that I want to live in
I smell the pine trees and the peaches in the woods
I see the pinecones that fall by the highway
Thats the highway that goes to the building
I pick the building that I want to live in
Its over there, its over there
My building has every convenience
Its gonna make life easy for me
Its gonna be easy to get things done
I will relax alone with my loved ones
Loved ones, loved ones visit the building,
Take the highway, park and come up and see me
Ill be working, working but if you come visit
Ill put down what Im doing, my friends are important
Dont you worry bout me
I wouldnt worry about me
Dont you worry bout me
Dont you worry bout me
I see the states, across this big nation
I see the laws made in washington, d.c.
I think of the ones I consider my favorites
I think of the people that are working for me
Some civil servants are just like my loved ones
They work so hard and they try to be strong
Im a lucky guy to live in my building
They own the buildings to help them along
Its over there, its over there
My building has every convenience
Its gonna make life easy for me
Its gonna be easy to get things done
I will relax along with my loved ones
Loved ones, loved ones visit the building
Take the highway, park and come up and see me
Ill be working, working but if you come visit
Ill put down what Im doing, my friends are important
I wouldnt worry bout
I wouldnt worry about me
Dont you worry bout me
Dont you worry bout me..........

Man to be eaten up.
Pleasing a woman
Is like feeding a crocodile.
Without knowing that,
You will end being eaten up.
You are born for that.

Big Choice
Big lies
Surprise
Youve thought of everything
It builds your character you know
No way
Ok
So whats the price you pay?
Too late to realize youre broke
Do you think that everything worked out?
Its good to see youve finally made it
Cant you see youre lying to yourself?
But this was all your choice
Do you think it makes a difference now?
But this was all your choice
Its good to see it hasnt changed you
Youve tried
Denied
Cant win at everything
Its building character you know
Dont wait
Too late
Youve got a choice to make
Its time to do what youve been told
Arent you glad that everything worked out?
Its good to see youve finally made it
Cant you see youre lying to yourself?

I thought he was an interesting central figure, central character, one who is definitely not your typical central character figure in a film, who's easy to like. He's not easy to like. It forces you to involve yourself with what's going on.

Mix 2
Now what you want with the time that you can't forget?
That that rain put out now
Look it up
What you doing sending sisters to the other side?
It's hard enough, hard enough
What you doing with the cat that you can't forget?
Why they're walking gives them a face
What you doing with the cat that you can't forget?
Just blow it up, blow it up
It's easy
Good pal
Good luck
Every night
Hey, it's easy
Good luck
Good luck
It's easy then
It's easy
Doing with a cat that you can't put down
Cos then you're walking
It's playing cool to get
But what you can't get a man can't forget
Because Dorothy
I'm a nice devil
What you doing with the cat that you can't believe?
I don't love myself, I call the child police
Oh, what you doing with the cat that you can't believe?
Just blow it up
It's easy
Good pal
Good luck
Every night
Hey, it's easy
Good luck
Good luck
It's easy then
It's easy

Make It Easy
Why the eagle flies
When the wind blows in his eyes
And he goes no where just to feel good
You don*t know the reason
Our love is like a season
Breaking down and building up again
Why you hold me up
When I feel like falling down
Is the love you have that makes me feel good
Ahhh
You make it easy
Take it slow
Well, I was hurtin inside and you gave me a second chance
Ahhh
You take it easy
When you let it go
I was hurtin inside
Time rides all alone
When you*re left back on your own
But I know you*re always there to lean on
Look beyond the
And you*ll find my love in check
It*s all the love I have
Love I give to you
Ahhh
You make it easy
Take it slow
Well, I was hurtin inside and you gave me a second chance
Ahhh
You take it easy
When you let it go
I was hurtin inside

Love
Whilst tracing thy visage I sink in emotion,
For no other damsel so wond'rous I see;
Thy looks are so pleasing, thy charms so amazing,
I think of no other, my true-love, but thee.
With heart-burning rapture I gaze on thy beauty,
And fly like a bird to the boughs of a tree;
Thy looks are so pleasing, thy charms so amazing,
I fancy no other, my true-love, but thee.
Thus oft in the valley I think, and I wonder
Why cannot a maid with her lover agree?
Thy looks are so pleasing, thy charms so amazing,
I pine for no other, my true-love, but thee.
I'd fly from thy frowns with a heart full of sorrow--
Return, pretty damsel, and smile thou on me;
By every endeavor, I'll try thee forever,
And languish until I am fancied by thee.

Too Good To Be True
Her imagination ran wild
Could this really happen to me?
She could barely hold back the tears
It was too good to be true
It was too good to be true
It was too good to be true
Everything that shed waited for
Everything that shed dared to dream
Suddenly was outside her door
It was too good to be true
It was too good to be true
It was too good to be true
There was no talk of giving in
And just as hope was wearing thin
Her eyes were like a child again
Too good to be true
Morning on the outskirts of town
Sitting in the traffic alone
You dont know what it means to be free
It was too good to be true

The Better Friend
A man of good character is a better friend
Than a rich man who only loves his wealth
For the man with character will stay till the end
With his friend, in poverty or in poor health.
I have had so many friends in times of abundance
And only about two remained in Adversity
In life I discovered true friends of substance
Were not found in my times of Prosperity.
So when you are down and so all alone
And you find there is one friend who stands with you
You are most blessed not with what you own
But for that one friend whom you found is true.

Pleasures and pains
It is easy to secure a friendship;
To maintain it is a hard task.
It is easy to procure love;
To sustain it is a great risk.
Both pleasures demand pains.

Girls It Aint Easy
(ronald dunbar / edith wayne)
Yeah, it aint easy
Girls it aint easy
To keep the man you love satisfied
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy
To keep the one you love by your side
A womans work is never done
Never stops, it goes on and on
You work your fingers to the bone
You gotta be home every time he phones
Sometimes the going gets a little tough
Seems like my best aint good enough
Keeps you losing sleep
Seven days a week, yeah
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy
To keep the man you love satisfied
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy
To keep the one you love by your side
To keep him happy
You must sacrifice
Be ready and willing
To spend lonely nights
Do what you can
Though he seems ungrateful
Love him so true
Even though he seems unfaithful
But when his hope is gone
And life gets him down
Thats when hell say
He needs you around
Hard to live with him
Hard to live without him
It aint easy, no
Oh, yeah, it aint easy
Girls it aint easy
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy
You got to favour him with understanding
When understanding is what he needs
We try hard to give them respect
All that we get is their regret
But when theyre in trouble
They need our love and care
No matter when we gotta be right there
In between the crying
Gotta keep trying
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy, ooh, ooh, ooh
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy, yeah, ooh
It aint easy
Girls it aint easy, no

Crystal Clear Blue Eyes
He’s always had
crystal clear
blue eyes;
I always thought
somehow they represented
the clarity of his character.
Youth now faded
along with hair; teeth,
perhaps a bit of the sharpness
of memory,
but
behind those eyes
there still lies
a genuine heart,
a man of strength,
honesty; good character.
Maybe it’s true after all,
that the eyes
are the window
of the soul.
