Being nostalgic
We prefer being nostalgic
About something or some person
Because we are safe and certain
That they would by no way come back.

Positive Thinker
Am I a good thinker?
Can I see what others don't?
Am I a daring person?
Can I do what others do not like to do?
Or others are afraid to do?
Am I a creative and imaginative person?
Can I see the invisible?
Can I feel the intangible?
Can I achieve the impossible?
Am I a contemplating person?
Am I a self-reflective person?
Am I a confidence person?
Am I a self-reliance person?
Can I be a perfect person?
Can I be a clever person?
Can I be a smart thinker person?
Above all,
I prefer to be
A simple person
With a positive attitude,
Not only accept positive things,
But willing to accept negative things.

Free Frogs
Free Frogs
Hi! My name is Frannie,
Frannie Frog
I'd like to introduce you
to my three brothers
Bud
Weis
and Er
They are currently looking for a new home
They would prefer
a damp slimy pond,
with lots of bugs.
But will settle for
a nice pad in the suburbs
They love big wet kisses
But ladies don't expect
any handsome prince
So if you could just
get them off my back...
...I mean give them a good home
They are free
If I could only release them from me

A Safe Man
A SAFE MAN
WITH A SAFE SMILE
SEEMED SO SAFE TO THE TOUCH
A SAFE MAN AS TO WHOM I I SAW AS MY FATHER
SO SAFE OR SO I THOUGHT
MY SAFE MAN
MY SAFE FATHER
NOT SO SAFE
MY SAFE FATHER WHOM DID THINGS THAT MADE ME FEEL INDANGERD
ON THAT NIGHT HE STOLE MY DIGNITY &+ MY SELF WORTH
MY SAFE MAN
MY SAFE FATHER
NOT SO SAFE

Fear of losing what i want the most
i'm lost and confuse,
my heart want you,
but it afraid of getting hurt,
and taking a chance,
i'm only with him,
becuz he knows my past,
he knows me,
or maybe not,
but i feel safe,
not happy,
safe that not much will be lost,
if i take this road,
than be with you,
you are amazing,
in every single way,
i feel safe with you,
i feel i can trust you,
i feel you get me,
in ways i've been looking for,
all of this time i'm running around blind,
you get the things,
i don't want to have to explain,
you kind of know by my moods,
how far you can push me,
and kind of when to stop,
why am i with the person i don't want to be?
am i searching for something else?
a mother in law,
that reminds me of mine?
so lost and confuse,
but yet knows what feels right,
yet why am i having to choose,
between that one special person,
that just feels right,
in so many ways,
than that one person,
i don't really feel nothing for?

A person I knew use to divide human beings into three categories Those who prefer have nothing to hide rather than being obliged to lie, those who prefer lying to having nothing to hide, and finally those who like both lying and the hidden.

Choices
i prefer smooth peanut butter
to crunchy
mind you
crunchy is all right
but i prefer smooth.
i prefer strawberry jam
to raspberry
mind you
raspberry is tasty
but it's got all those seeds
and i prefer strawberry.
i prefer mustard
to mayonaisse
mind you mayonaisse has it's place
amongst condiments
but is likely to go bad
if left out to long
and poison everyone
so on the whole i prefer mustard.
i prefer cooked meat
to raw meat
for much the same reason
as i prefer mustard to mayonaisse
although it also has to do
with the fact that i don't
like my meat to bleat
or moo or make chicken noises (BAGOCK!)
when i eat
so i tend to avoid the raw
though mind you
the meat that i prefer
may at some time have been raw.
i prefer not to say
why i think so
but i do
and i suppose it's all
just a matter of taste
so if you'd prefer to think so
then crunchy is better
than smooth
even if it does interfere
with the texture of the
peanut butter
and jelly (strawberry) sandwich
which ought to be somewhat
devoid of substance
merely a sticky sweet something
to fill your stomach
put mayonaisse on it
if you like
i'd prefer not to think about it.

Is it Well with the Child?
SAFE where I cannot die yet,
Safe where I hope to lie too,
Safe from the fume and the fret;
You, and you,
Whom I never forget.
Safe from the frost and the snow,
Safe from the storm and the sun,
Safe where the seeds wait to grow
One by one,
And to come back in blow.

No Memo From You Did I Receive
What would 'you' prefer?
That I pretend I am not a writer,
With an interest that is expressed.
Or would you prefer I stay within boundaries,
Your mind has restricted to your limitedness?
Or would you prefer,
I reflect more of what you suspect I should be?
And would your suspicions have their development,
Centered from your perceptions?
Either way,
No memo from you did I receive.
And I admit,
Guessing is not what I do best.
And the only tests I 'prefer' to pass,
Are my own.

Safe
[verse 1]
Here I am alone with You
Quietly I talk to You
You said the truth would set me free
So here I am surrendering
(pre-chorus)
I know I can let your promise be my hope
And I know until You take me home
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe
[verse 2]
My heart is overflowing
With peace beyond all knowing
This love is deep, it shelters me
And I'm safe within Your reach
(pre-chorus)
I know I can let your promise be my hope
And I know until You take me home
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe
[bridge]
Though the odds are stacked against me
Though I'm running out of time
My heart is breaking
But I know You are mine
So I let You see into me as
You hold me in Your hand
My heart is on my sleeve
I'm safe because You understand
You understand
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe

You Make Me Feel Safe
i know to you,
you probably think i can't control myself,
when it come to where my mind goes,
when we talk,
but to be trapped for so many years,
always feeling like i knew more about sex,
than the ppl around me,
i felt like an outsider,
so i learn to hide it,
growing up,
i just never felt safe to express myself sexually,
when it was accepted,
nobody treated it with care,
i never felt safe to open up,
the way i feel with you,
you make me feel safe,
because you said you won't use me for that,
i belive you and hope you true to your word,
you haven't made me doubt you yet,
and in a way,
i don't want to doubt you,
you seem like a nice guy,
somebody who honested,
that what i like about you,
you say you are just yourself,
you are a person,
that seem like a person worth getting to know,
we just have to remember to take it slow,
if this is truely what both of us want,
its what i want,
but i'm scared that this will be just a dream,
i don't think i can handle that,
my dream guy to be,
just a dream,
my heart can't handle that,
i feel like i'm in too deep,
and really we just getting to know each other.

We are in 2008 and,
We are still fighting among ourselves;
This is year 2008 and,
We still kill each other with bombs!
We are in 2008 and,
We are still naked in the forest;
Year 2008 with the Olympic Games held in China and,
We still go to war!
We are in 2008 and,
We do claim to be the best of the human ever lived;
But, how many bombs have we thrown to each other?

Second Chance
Sometimes we do something without thinking and it turns out bad
One mistake can rude your life
Unless you get
Second chance
To see the person you love in same class with you again
You feel it’s your time to make it right
It never too late to do it
You get that feeling you felt before and it all coming back
You can’t talk to that person again and stop looking at that person
You feel all butterfly coming back too
You feel nervous and feel that person is right for you
Second chance
To show that you still care for that person and want to be with that person
If she or he still have feelings for you, you hope and pray it work out
You finally got that person you want and if that
Second chance
Doesn’t work out then it never meant to be after all
You have to move on
Second Chance

I much prefer working with kids whose life could be completely upended by a reading of a book over a weekend. You give them a book to read - they go home and come back a changed person. And that is so much more interesting and exciting.

Running From Yourself
life feels so great,
when you have that one person,
in your life,
that is not afraid to accept your baggage,
and tell you that it's okay,
to just be who you are,
when all of these years,
i've been running from myself,
running from being that innocent, caring, person,
i just couldn't handle being used again,
used for being myself,
it why i pretend to be somebody i'm not,
a person that can handle everything,
but behind close doors,
it's safe to fall apart and let go,
let go of everything that ever held you back,
so the next day,
you can wake up,
everything will be the way it started,
looking like life is together,
when really you just want to breakdown into pieces,
from all the stones that was thrown that day,
ppl jokes they thought were funny,
but deep down they hurt,
they can't seem to see,
the pain i hold inside,
and try to deal with,
becuz to some,
what happened in the past,
should just stay there and i should move on,
if only it was that easy.

Lest his home should wreck
Don’t make your son to choose
Between you and his spouse.
Don’t let your grand children
Prefer you to their mum.
Subordinate to her
Lest your son’s home should wreck.

Nostalgic Valentine Paper Heart
nostalgic valentine paper heart
reads a smeared I love you
given to me by a soul who’s long past.
and now dust in a buried coffin.
he professed he would love me until he died
promptly fulfilling that promise
with a gun in his mouth
and a nostalgic valentine paper heart
in his hand..
