Do you Know the Magic

Do you know the magic of love
The sweet joy of caring
Is there a special place in your heart
That thrives in the joy of sharing
Can you feel the pain of separation
That fades when together again
A joy with hopes everlasting
My dear sweet loving friend
Do we know the true meaning of forever
Is love like the quest for the holy grail
Will the heart win out in the long run
while the strength of the heart prevails
Can you feel the magic of love
When two hearts beat together as one
Do you know of the pain and heartache
When it’s finally over and done
Does love change like the seasons
Blooming in the early spring
Growing throughout our summers
And the autumn color it brings

Missing You

It's been a while since I saw your smile,
Never seen your face but I felt your grace,
From a distance your gaze,
Your eyes, they warm my heart,
What a great place to start!

In my heart, always,
Always a place for you,
A quiet space,
What a beautiful place!

Lost in time, no rhythm nor rhyme,
Until at last,
We find the peace we deserve,
To live, breathe and to serve,

So when you think of me,
Remember to feel free,
Live life through freedoms door,
Know that I will love you evermore,

I will see you in a quiet room,
A dark corner where you light the gloom,
In a moment of silence, a quiet breath,
Moves us one step further from death,

Sometimes I feel there can be no end,

So Long For Now

You look so peaceful lying there
With your hands folded upon your chest.
You look like you are sleeping
But you are at eternal rest.
So Long For Now.

Not a hair out of place,
Your make-up nicely done,
A beautiful smile upon your lips -
For now you are with Absalom.
When someone special passes on
It does not mean they are gone,
Though they are no longer with us
Their memory still lives on.
It hurts so much to lose a friend -
Especially one that is trustworthy and kind.
Nan Legge, you were that special friend,
A rare and special find.
Nan Legge, you will always be with me
In spirit and in mind.

Lessons Learned

(9/15/12)

There is a lesson that I have learned
And in my heart will forever burn.
Love your partner as you love yourself
And in your heart they will forever dwell.

Look in their eyes and see their emotions
Look even deeper and see the devotion
Take my love and gently place it in your heart
And watch it grow from the start.

My love is called "DAY" and as the day
Meets the rising sun, and also greets
The setting sun, this love can never be undone.

I will love you 24/7 and make you
Feel as if you reached heaven.
You will no longer see the gloom of night
For my love will make things right.

There is a lesson in what I say
For I loved you yesterday
And I will love you even more today.

At times we have to take our hearts
And remold and reshape it like a piece of clay
To fit the changes made from day to day.
We have to remind ourselves that love
Is always there, and it's something beautiful
That we must share.

If you would like to hear the music of love
Then place your ear upon my chest
And let your own heart do the rest.
For when two hearts beat as one
There is nothing left to be done.

What Makes A True Friend?

What are the qualities that a friend should
have – that which would make a true friend so true?
A friend is one whom you like to be with
while a true friend insists on being with you.

A friend likes you when you have so much in
common. True friends like you who for who you are.
True friends make you feel as though they are at
all times near, although they are very far.

A true friend is one whom you can always
talk to, even at night when it is late -
when loved ones are asleep, a true friend is
always there to hear what you have to say.

Friends like to share, but a true friend always
gives you – not what you want, but what you need.
The feelings you hide, as well as your thoughts,
and your dreams, a true friend can always read.

A friend may forgive you or they may not
forgive, for something wrong you've done to them.
A true friend forgives even when you don't
ask. True friends forgive - again and again.

Friends are close when you are close to them. A
true friend wants your friendship to be closer.
A true friend does what is best for you, and
hates that you would end up with the losers.

A true friend teaches you lessons to help
you grow – lessons that are hard and easy.
A true friend is always there - having a
true friend can never make you feel lonely.

Friends may sometimes make mistakes, but a true
friend is always careful not to hurt you.
A true friend is a guide and a teacher.
A true friend knows everything you go through.

The true friend I mention is our God,
who kept you company before you were born.
The friendship of God, if you truly keep
and cherish, you will never feel forlorn.

The true friend we all need is God (Allah) –
the One who guides and can teach us lessons,
the One who hears our calls and understands,
the One always near – in every season –

Allah, as a Friend, never judges us
by the way we look and how we appear.
Allah, as a Guide, if we ask Him for
guidance, He guides us and makes our paths clear.

Allah is with us – each day and each night –
He is always there when all are asleep.
Allah always listens when others don't.
He gives you comfort when He sees you weep.

Fortunate are those who have Allah as
a Friend. Friendship with God is friendship true.
May Allah bless me with His Friendship and
May Allah's Friendship be shared with you too.

Woman's Skepticism

love, desire, passion, fire, is all the qualities that you seek
for this is what will make you complete.

the man will normally have the passion and desire
while the woman has the love and the fire.
his desires could light a stack of timber
and leave your body totally limber.

it will grow so strong, that it turns into passion
and not caring about which feelings is in fashion.
he has to quench this irresistible urge
burning every part of his being
and this is all that he is seeing.

the fire spreads throughout his brain
leaving him totally insane.
he finally realizes that this ' must be love'.

and these feelings were all brought on by you
and to his heart, he must be true.

when you finally find a man who has all these qualities
you have become so skeptical
that these qualities you do not see.

open your eyes for i am here.
let me take away that fear.
my love has become embedded so deep in my soul
that my heart it did take hold.

Gutted

It's never easy to step out into the sunlight
away from the safety of your walls - indoors.
Sometimes you forget just how hard it can get,
Until a door slams shut in your face in midstep-
knowing that you threw out the key to yours.

It's never fair when you give your heart away,
only to find out their forever ended yesterday-
That you will from here on forward love on,
caring for both your heart and theirs forever
while the unrequitedness would be for sure.

It's never too late to hope and dream of good;
all will be well if we trust in the heart we love-
that what has brought us together upholds,
until a window opens up and lets light in again:
darkness has no place - forever eternally bright.

I Have A Friend

I have a friend who cannot walk
I have a friend all he does is talk

I have a friend, Philippe is his name
I have a friend and we are just the same

I have a friend he’s seventeen years old
I have a friend who has a heart of gold

I have a friend who would catch me if I fall
It is only that he has no legs at all

I have a friend and when my friend was seven
A car ran over him and he almost went to heaven

I have a friend with a smile that I adore
I have a friend who lives in a house of four

I have a friend his family is his home
I have a friend who dreams of visiting Rome

I have a friend who is still finishing school
Yet some people tell him that for that he is a fool

I have a friend they say he is disabled

God Will Finish All He Started

Christ will finish in you tomorrow, what He has started in you today,
And even in the midst of sorrow, He will take you to a brighter way.
Remember that God’s tomorrow, could be years or in just one day,
You’ll come through the sorrow, when you reach His ultimate way.

My friend, whatever God does start, The Lord God indeed will finish,
And all that sorrow in your heart; that my friend, God shall diminish.
Then Eternity, that He will start, for you my friend, it will never finish,
And the Eternal Joy in your heart, from The Lord, it will not diminish.

This present world is not our home, for we are on our way to Eternity,
Though in darkness we now roam, soon Heaven’s Light we will see.
Christ has prepared for us a home, a place to be through all Eternity,
Then in the heavens we can roam, where our Savior shall always be.

Within our hearts we seek above, longing to begin our brand new life,
And it is because of all the Love, of our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ.
Soon with Him we shall be above, as we go forward into Eternal Life,
And remain forever in the Love, and the Eternal Light of Jesus Christ.

Friend, His Love He will not sever, once you’re upon His Eternal List,
And Christ will fill your heart forever, with His Love and Eternal Bliss.
Then this world will truly never, be what you look back onto and miss,
For we will be with Christ forever, surrounded by God’s Eternal Bliss.
