You want answers. Take doubts
You want answers.
There are no answers.
You want some questions.
There are no questions now.
You want something,
There is nothing.
You want this.
There is that.
This and that, they do not
Always come together
And wanting this
You only get that.
See? See.
You want to live in peace
No there is no peace
War has always been with us
You know that, not this.
Oh yes, you want certainties.
You just want to be sure
What is in my hand
Tell me, and I will prove
You wrong, always, I want
To prove you wrong
About certainties, there is
Nothing certain. They just come
When they like coming
And they tell you
You dream, we give
What is best, it may not be what
You are dreaming, or we punish you
By giving what you want
You prayed so earnestly
Oh! These lords these gods
This fate this destiny
They always wait for you
Always hazy, and taken as
X, y, and z
You, it is you that assigns the values
And you can be wrong and even
Still be puzzled.
There is nothing certain.
So?
Well, take the doubts
They are the only things certain
Because they are real.
We live with them everyday.
They are mothers and fathers
And yes, they are gods.

Sometimes Crazy - A Lyric
Take my dreams give them something
I don't know
It's just love inside this
I'll have to show - have to show
Everybody is doing something
And I just know how to sing
Love is sometimes crazy
When it comes to me
And my thoughts get hazy
When they are set to be
Questions asked never are
What they sometimes seem
Everything stays afar
Like a delusional dream
Don't ask me why - I can't tell you
I don't have the answers
There are no certainties to go to
I often have a dream to feel my way
But dreams don't live to become true
I'll make decisions that are up to me
And give the dreams I know
I'll try to be what I can be
In times that come and go
Love is sometimes crazy
When it comes to me
And my thoughts get hazy
When they are set to be
Questions asked never are
What they sometimes seem
Everything stays afar
Like a delusional dream
Don't ask me why -
Love is sometimes crazy
I can't tell you any lie
I can't tell you any lie
Love is sometimes crazy
When it comes to me
And my thoughts get hazy
When they are set to be
Questions asked never are
What they sometimes seem
Everything stays afar
Like a delusional dream
Love is sometimes crazy
But gives so much
We are sometimes crazy
And out of touch
Sometimes crazy
And out of touch

Questions?
i am tired of questions
all of them
too familiar and all
with ready
homemade answers
canned questions
and answers
in one book
scanned for years
and you all know them
canned laughter
canned faces
canned souls
canned and caned and chained
bones
they rattle and they shake
and roll
i have no answers.
i am throwing all these questions away.
i live everyday. i look at the trees
and the forests.
i simply live. Now.
i have no more questions.
neither will i demand
any answer from you.
go, go, find yourself.
i stay here wanting to find nothing at all.
i guess, after my 48 years
there is this truth
that i find: there is nothing
nothing to find
nothing to expect
nowhere to go
it is just this and this and this.
the one that i have in my hand
the one that i keep on holding
i enclose it and keep it warm
and alive
and you do not even care
this is it: me, myself, and I

Wrong Answers May Not Be The Same!
The right answers are the same,
For the same questions asked,
Whether they write on their own or copy,
Teachers won't have doubts, but feel happy,
For their students are smart.
When the wrong answers are written,
Not by only one, but by many in the class,
Teachers know that the students resort to copy,
When the same wrong concept is written,
Many times in many places without knowing,
That the concept is wrong and need to be corrected,
The same wrong answer may not be written by many,
But by the one who does not know that it is wrong.

Instead Of Being A Pessimist
You want answers to your questions?
Ask yourself this...
What began the origin of those questions.
And...
How did they begin for you to exist.
You want a life you like?
Oppose to the one you don't?
Why have you chosen to dislike what you do?
And who enforced this dislike upon you.
Do you live with wishes to fulfill your dreams?
Or are you focused on others,
Who seem to have 'your' things.
Are you focused upon others,
Who seem to be living your life?
Doing those things,
You wish for you also to like?
Perhaps those questions you ask,
Are not yours afterall.
And perhaps those answers,
That have come to you answered...
You ignored them to disbelieve,
Those answers received...
Were not yours.
Because you spend your time,
In the minding of other people's business!
And your business,
You haven't given your time to see...
Succeed.
But your time is spent,
Lamenting others you despise and criticize.
You want answers to your questions?
Wait for therm patiently to come.
Before you impatiently decide,
To get up and leave.
Believing they can be found,
With you not around.
You want answers to your questions?
Ask yourself this...
What began the origin of those questions.
And...
How did they begin for you to exist?
Ask yourself that.
Instead of being a pessimist!

We Wait & We Wonder
to the outsider it seems that we in britain live daily under the cloud of terrorism. that familiarity sometimes makes you think of it as almost normal, then suddenly something will happen...
We stand, hang our heads disbelieving
Then not knowing how could such a thing be wrong
We wonder just what they must be thinking
To take a life of one so young
So tell me when will it be over now, how soon?
How far must we go, to prove to you?
We wait and we wonder how this happened
Killing the old, the innocent, the young
While sons follow in fathers footsteps not understanding
That what they do could somehow be so wrong
So tell me when will it be over now, how soon?
How far must we go, to prove to you?
So we will wait and well wonder
No regrets, no forgiveness, no compasssion
These brave heroes only know to hit and run
Slowly my sadness turns to rage and we wonder
How can these scars ever heal, when all is said and done
So tell me when will it be over now, how soon?
How many tears must fall to prove to you?
Please tell me, when will it be over now, how soon?
And how far must they go, to prove to you?
So we wait and we wonder

One By One
I remember wasting time
Watching as the planes fly by
I remember hearing the engines echoing through the sky
And they used to say
That someday you'll forget it
You won't hear them
And they used to say
That time goes by
That nothing changes
[Chorus]
I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
One by one I'll prove you wrong
I remember every night
Sitting by the runway side
I remember waiting for a reason to say goodbye
And they used to say
That someday you'll forget it
You won't hear them
And they used to say
The day goes by but you can't change it
[CHORUS]
Sometimes I think I've been wrong
But this is the place that I think I belong
And everytime I speak my mind I'm leaving you behind
and I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong

To Be Frank With You
i've read all the answers
to your questions and to be frank with
you
not one satisfies my discriminating
quest
the words are bland
the deductions are not that logical
enough to appease
my boredom
but i will not fail you
i will let you survive and move on with your life
it is your honesty
that makes you live
it is your persistence
that must punish you
and when your prayers are granted
do not ever think
that the gods are all pleased.

evasive (EDITED FOR one letter only)
the answers are shy
they have not matured
they always are not
confronting the questions
which keep on roaming like
Nazi soldiers looking
for the kill of the innocent
ones
the answers are arrows
with blunt tips
the questions are the black holes
of our universe
who dares to answer all of them
not me
i see all the questions
and i am but a little boy stupid on the street
looking for mother
and afraid of what a father can do
to defend the senselessness of
my posture
the questions are alive
the answers need a redemption
i take the side step
write a poem and then sleep
who knows?
the answer is nothing but a dream
yes, a dream
something ephemeral
yes, an illusion
something like a mirror
yes, a moment,
something that must pass like the shadow of the moon.

answers there are many answers
but most are not prepared to look

most will not endure unpleasant changes

What Now?
now the questions are asking you
what now? quo vadis?
where to? what for?
why?
yes, why above all.
the questions are asking you
and you must answer with the very same questions to the questions
you beg, and they beg too
the answer to the questions
but you have no answers really
you have learned the art of wisdom
its own ways
its own manners of not answering with answers
who knows? no one knows?

I Can Prove You Wrong
(monty criswell/greg mcdougal/billy spencer)
I know he gave you every reason
To lose your faith in love
Give me the chace Ill find the pieces
To a heart thats given up
You say theres nothing I can do
But no ones ever too far gone
Its a heartache talking when
You say youll never love again
And I can prove you wrong
I can prove you wrong
I know I can make you see
That youre right where you belong
When youre right here with me
If I could wrap these arms around you
You wont even know hes gone
But if youre still afraid
Love always ends that way
I can prove you wrong
I can show you what Im saying
Is so much more than empty words
And if you want me here Im staying
But Ill walk away if you prefer
A broken heart takes time to heal
And right now yours is not that strong
You say theres no one left for you
But if you want me to
I can prove you wrong
I can prove you wrong
I know I can make you see
That youre right where you belong
When youre right here with me
If I could wrap these arms around you
You wont even know hes gone
But if youre still afraid
Love always ends that way
I can prove you wrong
But if youre still afraid
Love always ends that way
I can prove you wrong

A Song For Mely....
when you ask for rice
i do not ask questions
i give you what you need
you deserve to eat
many will criticize
this liberality of giving
that i am just making
Mely so lazy
Mely, you must eat
beyond right or wrong
weak or strong
Mely, you must live
i have no more questions.

Boys To Men
Growing up can be a pain
Youre not an man until you come of age
Weve given up our teenage years
In the effort to pursue our career
Who assumes responsibility
Of having to support our families
Whos protecting us from harm
Is there anyone around
That we can trust
So we search for answers to our questions
Looking for answers
No answers but were taught a lesson everytime
Through mistakes weve learned to gather wisdom
Lifes responsibility falls in our hands
Keep on learning
Keep on growing
cause wisdom helps us understand
Were maturing
Without knowing
These are the things that change boys to men
Oh the goals we set may exceed reality
Cause failurealways a possibility
Who can tell us that were wrong
Its up to us to figure out
What life is all about
So we search for answers to questions
Looking for the answers
No answers but were taught a lesson everytime
Through mistakes weve learned to gather wisdom
cause wisdom helps us see our responsibility.

Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves ... Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point it, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps, then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.

Destiny
Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny

Whats Wrong With That
I may be rotten to the core
And stop me if you think I am
A kid in a candy store
The same as any dirty old man
I know Im not the first to see
I guarantee Im not the last
So take some good advice from me
Just try it once before you ask
I hear an enticing voice
(live it up, live it up, do it now, boy)
I dont like the other choice
(live it up, live it up)
Chorus:
Whats wrong with that
Whats wrong with the fountain of youth
Whats wrong with that
Whats wrong with a little self delusion
Who you think is foolin who
And who will be the last to laugh
Heres another lame excuse
Youre old enough to be her dad
Ive heard all the reasons why
(give it up, give it up, take a powder)
I turn them my blindest eye
(give it up, give it up)
Repeat chorus
Whats wrong with that
Whats wrong with a flower in bloom
Whats wrong with that
Whats wrong with a little self delusion
Days dont hide secrets of the heart
Only you and I do
Little white lies rip you right apart
And any way they want to
Life goes by, done before you start
I cant wait around to satisfy you
Chorus out

Somewhere Down The Road
(Wayne Kirkpatrick/Amy Grant)
So much pain and no good reason why
You cried until the tears run dry
Nothing else can make you understand
The one thing that you held so dear
Is slipping from your hand
And you say
Why, why, why
Does it go this way
And why, why, why
And all I can say is
Somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
And they will have the answers
At the end of the road
Yesterday I thought I'd seen it all
I thought I'd climbed the highest wall
But now I see that learning never ends
And all I know to do is keep on walking
'Round the bend
Singing
Why, why, why
Does it go this way
Why, why, why
And all I can say is
Somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
And they will hold the answers
At the end of the road
Somewhere, somewhere down
And somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
They will have the answers
At the end of the road
They will have the answers
At the end of the road
Somewhere down the road, yeah
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere down the road
Why, why, why
There will be arms reaching, down the road
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere
Oooh
