You Bet On Another Day
yes, you must live for another day
bet this day bet on another day
until you find this love that love
that must make your days whole
your nights still so exciting
you may fail again
on this sad day
on this despair of being alone
and still murmuring about the pain
in your soul
about the night that rains
so cold and becoming so unbearable
you want to sleep you cannot
the lizards keep bugging your thoughts
another failure
another fruitless turmoil
you get attuned to these feelings of
being low and meaningless
this day that day that coming day
you bet again for another day
you wake up, wash your face, go to the toilet,
clean your bed, dress yourself, and look at the mirror
to comb your hair and say
i'm ok, and this day will be ok
and they will all be ok,
you keep on entertaining promises
you maintain a number
a certain faith
who knows? you may hit the jackpot
it is near
wipe your tears, wash your face
prepare for another sleepless night

The Washing and Dressing
Ah! why will my dear little girl be so cross,
And cry, and look sulky, and pout?
To lose her sweet smile is a terrible loss,
I can't even kiss her without.
You say you don't like to be wash'd and be dress'd,
But would you not wish to be clean?
Come, drive that long sob from your dear little breast,
This face is not fit to be seen.
If the water is cold, and the brush hurts your head,
And the soap has got into your eye,
Will the water grow warmer for all that you've said?
And what good will it do you to cry?
It is not to tease you and hurt you, my sweet,
But only for kindness and care,
That I wash you, and dress you, and make you look neat,
And comb out your tanglesome hair.
I don't mind the trouble, if you would not cry,
But pay me for all with a kiss;
That's right -- take the towel and wipe your wet eye,
I thought you'd be good after this.

Makeup
When you wake up in the morning
And you put the makeup upon your face
Do you try to cover up the age and lines
Or only the sins and deceptions and the disgrace.
Do you try to place on a happy smile
By putting bright lipstick upon your lips
Or do you try to cover up your own hard life
Something that someone like you never forgets.
And as you look into your mirror
Do you powder the many lines upon your face
The lines that has stretched from years ago
Unto the present days of your life and waste.
Do you try to cover up the bags under your eyes
From all the many restless and sleepless nights
The nights when you cared not where you went
As long as you went and held on to someone tight.
Do you place the powder upon your cheeks
To make you look so cheerful and so very nice
But as they say you cant judge a book by its cover
And if they knew you, they need only to think twice.
And as you are preparing yourself for the day
With your makeup in front of you and on the shelf
Does it take you a little longer to put it on each day
As you try to cover yourself up and become someone else.
The makeup you have will you pass it along one day
And then show someone else how to cover up their lines
Maybe your sisters or even maybe your daughters
That is though if they need to cover up their lying.
And do you ever step back away from your mirror
Do you ever try to look at yourself as a whole
Does it ever bring tears into your heart and eyes
Do you ever wish that you still had a soul.
So as your prepare to start your brand new morning
With your lipstick and powders and so much more
Do you ever wish that you could just wash your face clean
And never have to cover up your ways and lies from the nights before.

Who Discovered The Mirror?
Who discovered the mirror?
We don't, at all, remember.
To show our faces beautiful,
How much it's really useful?
Above the wash basin
The glittering teeth clean
We see first every morn,
Before the day starts on.
The curly hair to comb,
The mustache to trim,
The oily face to foam,
How it helps at home?
Is there any beauty parlor,
Or a fancy dress store,
Or a modern shop tailor,
With no full size mirror?
Inside the ladies hand bags,
Or the gents coat pockets,
How the tiny mirror hides,
For their face-touch up uses?
To see the distant stars,
Or to find the tiny microbes,
How it serves a giant telescope,
Or a small but sharp microscope?
Mirror, mirror everywhere,
With our life for it to share,
Thanks to the unknown discoverer
For this all-time useful mirror.

Some Questions For You This Morning
do you smile?
or have you forgotten how to smile to people
do you know that they too
are lonely and scared?
do you know what a hug means?
do you hug
the homeless ones?
you use things
no argument about that
you use people?
that can be a good question for you today
do you love yourself?
yes yourself too?
not just them in co-dependency
wash your face
with the gentleness of water in your hands
dove soap it
wipe your face and look at yourself in the mirror
comb your hair
spray perfume in your hair
the smell of lemon grass
you don't like it?
pick your choice
you have choices
you make decisions
please yourself
be free
and come to me
thus says the Lord your friend for a lifetime
beside you
as always

Comb Your Hair
Girl comb your hair
It can't be that bad
I had it worse
Don't look so sad No money in the bank
No car to drive
I had to walk
But I survived You'll see some laugh
You'll see some smile
Your day will come
Just wait a while No suit in the closet
No shoes on the rack
One dress on the hanger
But you'll be back Comb your hair
And wash your face
Dry your tears
Thank God for grace

Night, Nights Sleepless
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
Thou you asked love to
lend some happiness
fate has gifted you
sadness for life
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
all boats are gone
and flooded away
your loved ones pierced
you with dagger of lies
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
now why are you smiling
whilst bleeding tears
your sun is set
before even rise
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
there was just a hope
on a peck of straw
alas! it is also burnt
now ashes doth lies
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise

Fallen From Grace
I pray for the love
That's fallen from grace
The tears left behind
Won't wash from my face
I'm left with all these feelings
But nothing fills the space
Of the love that once was
That's fallen from grace
Every little picture
Hanging on the wall
Every little trace of you
I've found them all
I close my eyes
It's all I can do
Everywhere I look
I see some part of you
Been through every reason
And they all seem to fit
No one's pleaded guilty now
There's nothing to admit
There's no one to blame baby
Once you believe
'Cos people only touch and go
But love will never leave
I pray for the love
That's fallen from grace
The tears left behind
Won't wash from my face
I'm left with all these feelings
But nothing fills the space
Of the love that once was
That's fallen from grace
I'm a little disappointed
I'm a little bit relieved
I feel a little sorry baby
I feel a bit deceived
No no not by you darlin'
I know love's demanding
Live and learning every day
But never understanding
Shattered dream and memories of you
Left hanging over me
A cross to bear
When love cools
A crown of thorns
For the queen of fools
I pray for the love
That's fallen from grace
The tears left behind
Won't wash from my face
I'm left with all these feelings
But nothing fills the space
Of the love that once was
That's fallen from grace

I will be your Sky
I will be your sky
I will hold your day and let the sun kiss your cheeks and blonde hair
I will hold your night and let the moon lighten up your darkest hour
I will hold the star and make you dreaming and wishing as if there were no end
And let you hope for more days and nights
I will be your sky
Because Love could find no reason why I love you
I will be blue to let you see that my love is as deep as the ocean
If you search the length and depth of my feelings for you
Is like a vast of a blanket spread in the heavens until the night pulls it
And uncovered how my sincere intentions is sweeter the moonlight sparkles in your eyes
And those stars are the music that hums me a good eve of love.
I will be your sky
Even if it's day and night
I will give you the twilight and the burning sky
I will show you the rainbow when I pour rain
And even If I cause you to cry
It will end soon and let you see the sunshine
I will be your sky.
When you wake up, you will see me.
And when you sleep, I will never stop watching your face.

Figurehead
The sharp and open
Leave me alone
And sleeping less every night
As the days become heavier and weighted
Waiting
In the cold light
A noise
A scream tears my clothes as the figurines tighten
With spiders inside them
And dust on the lips of a vision of hell
I laughed in the mirror for the first time in a year^
A hundred other words blind me with your purity
Like an old painted doll in the throes of dance
I think about tomorrow
Please let me sleep
As i slip down the window
Freshly squashed fly
You mean nothing
You mean nothing
I can lose myself in chinese art and american girls
All the time
Lose me in the dark
Please do it right
Run into the night
I will lose myself tomorrow
Crimson pain
My heart explodes
My memory in a fire
And someone will listen
At least for a short while
I can never say no to anyone but you
Too many secrets
Too many lies
Writhing with hatred
Too many secrets
Please make it good tonight
But the same image haunts me
In sequence
In despair of time
I will never be clean again
I touched her eyes
Pressed my stained face
I will never be clean again
Touch her eyes
Press my stained face
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again
I will never be clean again

Clean Money
Paydays coming and we wash it away
Clean money, clean money
Paydays coming and we wash it away
Clean money, clean money
Thats what I want to do
I want to spend it on you
Checking on a checkmate
Grassing on a classmate
So beautiful and fortunate
He hates to love, you love to hate
He can fix you for good
cause he is the neighborhood
You cant get money for blood
Blood money for doin no good
But they wont take my love for tender
Paydays coming and we wash it away
Clean money, clean money
Paydays coming and we wash it away
Clean money, clean money
Thats what I want to do
I want to spend it on you
Have you made your selection ?
Are you ready for correction ?
cause the wages of sin
Are an expensive infection
And its under the counter
Under the geiger counter
Who stole your thunder ?
But they wont take my love for tender

Nothing To Gein
Cold and silent, soiled face I will wash it all away,
With my love,
Thats all shes ever needed, from me
Its my time, to mother,
One of my own in my life,
I am so alone, left with no one
In my life, Im so alone
Life submissiveness,
Hypnotizing the ignorant a little boys best friends always his mother,
At least thats what she said,
Life of a simple man,
Taught that everyone else is dirty,
And their love is meaningless,
Im just a soiled dirty boy,
Im just a soiled dirty boy,
Sheltered life innocence,
Insulated memories, spark reflections of my head,
Duality in my consciousness,
Caught in the war of hemispheres,
Between the love lost in my head,
Mommy do you still live inside of me,
Im so lost in my life without any guiding,
Protected me my whole life from everything,
Nailed shut the doors to the shrine,
To screen your dead eyes from me and my sickness,
Mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading,
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face,
Deliver the remains from her womb of earth,
Prep the rack and tie up for new loves rebirth,
Covert understanding of novice surgery,
Ill focus concentration and only take just what I need
For sickness Im masticating,
Dancing and masturbating,
Celebrate in fields of night with skin upon my face
If I soak my hands in others blood am I sick,
If I wash my hands in others blood am I sick,
If I drench myself in others blood am I sick,
If I bathe myself in others blood
Blame mother for the sickness,
Mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading,
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face,
Dance and masturbate in night light by myself..
Nothing is left for me to gain theyre coming to take me far away,
Chorus
Life of a simple man taught that everyone else is dirty and love is meaningless
Im so soiled
Soiled

The venom of loneliness
Loneliness is biting me like a cobra
Its venom is killing me bit by bit
Now I have become something like an animal
I don't bathe, wash my face and brush my teeth
Regularly
It seems without you I will die like a street dog
I don't comb my hair, Put on clean clothes,
Go out for a walk and do any job
Regularly
I can't concentrate on anything
I no more like to write, dance and sing
I spend sleepless nights like the rats and bats
I fall asleep in the morning like night guards
I startle hearing ring of my phone thinking it's from you
I keep on wondering why it's happening to me more and more
I am like a flower in a garden and you are like a butterfly
I wait for you all day long day after day
My beautiful petals fall one-by-one
My sweet smell is carried away by rain and wind
But you do not come, my friend

Artistic Pursuits
the hands of days
are winds
bringing all dusts
to my hair
it is night
time
it is cold but
i wash my hair
to make
me colder
everything is getting
fresh
deep in the night
lots of
life
creep into my
soul
sleep is useless
i tell it
i do not need it
here i am
giving the sounds of silence
to this earth
here i am
writing letters
for those i do not
know
for those i have never
met
it is this joy of
saying
without knowing if
someone hears me
it is this automation
this self-generation this seeding
without having the interest to know
if something
grows from those unknown
unexplored grounds
tomorrow
this is a closed mouth
speaking to the earth
this is the sleepless soul
singing its songs
to the wilderness of
vast space
what i know
is that there is an end
a place
where you too
have never been
this is the joy
of our loneliness
we always do not know
about what happens next
that is the only
excitement left
someone,
someone is there
doing the same thing
ardently like one springtime
artistically....

I Cant Believe
[chorus:]
I cant believe that love has gone away from me
I cant believe that love has gone away
I cant believe that love has gone away from me
I cant believe that love has gone away
(I cant believe youve gone away)
[112]
Hours, days and nights I sat and I prayed
Never thought that I would see this day
I didnt think that it could hurt so bad
A broken heart was never meant for me
[faith]
Lord, let it please rain on my face
So that it could wash away all my tears
If this is the house that love is in let me leave
Cuz I dont wanna be hurt like this again
I cant believe
[chorus]
[112]
Many times I watched you while you were asleep
With thoughts of living life with only you
If I had read your mind and things could have changed
Ill give anything to be with you again
[112]
All I ever wanted was to see your face
And hear your pretty voice from day to day
Now that youve gone I have no reason for feeling that way
I cant believe youve gone away
[chorus]
[112]
When I look back on the times weve shared
Our life was ok, now what else could come down
[faith]
Dont you know you were my love (my only love)
And I cant believe that youve gone away
[repeat chorus until fade]

I Wanna Pick You Up
I love to pick you up
cause youre still a baby to me
Cribs and cradles and bottles and toys
Are part of the joys they bring
I wanna wash your face
And change your clothes and button your shoes
Walk you around and wrestle with you
Then Im gonna make you sing
In the mornin I could wake you up
Feed you breakfast from a little cup
I want to pick you up
Rock you back and forth and make you smile
I want to hold you close for a while
I wanna tickle your feet
Drop you in your little tub
Wash your body and shampoo your hair
Be careful not to sting your eyes
When its night Ill put you in your bed
And Ill bend and kiss ya on your head
I want to pick you up
Rock you back and forth and make you smile
I want to hold you close for a while
Pat pat pat pat pat her on her butt butt
Shes going to sleep be quiet
Pat pat pat pat pat her on her butt
Shes going to sleep
Little baby go to sleep

Wash away these tears
Can you see this,
This feelings that once was pure happiness,
Wash away these tears that once fell from my cheeks,
Wash away those feelings that once was there,
Can you feel this,
This pain that once been shed by me,
Why can’t you see or feel the pain the tears,
What's wrong with you,
What's wrong with us,
Can’t you see these tears,
Can’t you just wash away these tears.

Poems in Vain
I lay on the bed, write a poem by my tears
the paper was my hair and the pen was a finger
good night, sweet dreams, sleep along and think of me
sleepless night, sweetest dream, stay awake for me
you are the compass to find the right way
I won't say i'm a captain but that is the way
when the night is calling me
suicide is controlling me
I'll come to fight when the moon falls apart
I'll dance at night when the nightmares all goes away
poems in vain
I won't let myself get back to what I was before
before the night goes down take a look into my face
cry my darling sure you're getting much better than me
use your compass to find the right way
I say i'm a captain and this is the right way
I can't forget those nights as i'm waiting on the cold deck
waiting in the cold for death with my broken open arms
when the night is calling me
suicide is controlling me
I'll come to fight when the moon falls apart
I'll dance at night when the nightmares all goes away

When The Rain Comes
Youve come to me again my friend. Ive been waiting so long.
Life seems strange and hard sometimes, maybe I wont make it this time.
Oh theyve taken all I have, but I just need whats left of today, and you can wash it all away.
When it all comes down and Im feeling tired and afraid,
Youre always there, and seem come when Ive nothing left to give away.
Now I wait for your winds to come and give me breath for another day, and your rain to wash me.
I feel the rain coming. I feel it in my heart, take away my pain.
I feel the rain coming. wash me down, wash me down.
Here comes the rain. hold me now, just for awhile.
I feel like a candle flame in the wind. the dust of my deeds past, covers me, like a fading lie.
I feel the rain coming. I feel it in my heart, wash away my pain.
Wash me down, wash me down. I feel the rain coming.
Here comes the rain.

The Spiritual Warrior
I sit here quietly under the dark night skies,
My face is warmed by the tears from my eyes,
The glitter of stars so distant and cold,
Not unlike the love I would hold,
The night air around me is crisp and clean,
The irony of love to my soul is so mean.
I must be strong I am always told,
I’ll use up my strength before I get old,
The source of my strength is fed by love,
But how do you eat the wings of a dove,
They are beyond my reach and one of a kind,
The essence of love is so hard to find.
The food of love to strength is sweet,
The Spiritual Warrior sees not defeat,
By denying his soul the Warrior progresses,
Searching for love through strength he confesses,
I sit here quietly under the dark night skies,
My face is warmed by the tears from my eyes.
