Yes Like Real Life
yes the poem i write sounds like
a real life, more like it, sounds
very well like it. In fact, it is real.
the man is dying and all that the
woman does is watch him, and
the baby cries like a piglet asking
for milk, and the mother sits there.
we too watch with pity, just this pity.
there is nothing to be done, nothing.

Pity...
I have only pity for my
poodle name Pretpret
(ditty for Pretty)
It is always following me
wherever i go
and sit beside my feet
so i can feel the warmth
of its belly
It is expecting me to go
for a walk this morning
and it will be beside me
guarding
But i am not taking my walk
today
I still have to organize my thoughts
and write some poems
I pity the sun
Now it is shining without me
I pity the paths
for it is empty without me
I pity the grass
they spread their beautiful green
without me
Don't you understand what pity means?
Oh, it happens
when we are not with them
because we prefer to be with words
juggling with the letters
playing with the sounds of syllables...
Now, i am going out
What pity does i feel for all the words?
I must pity the study room
for it is now empty
I must pity the books
they are now closed
I must pity the stairs
missing the sounds of my footsteps
and so on and so forth
feel it
the world is such a pitiful emptiness
without us
we can be noise and disturbance
sometimes
but the world knows
we are important
for without us
the world is nothing too
but God's useless
creation....

King And Queen
(Justin Hayward)
It's like awaking from a dream
All I remember is a lullaby
I couldn't tell you where I've been
A thousand images just flutter by
Takin' my time
In a white limousine
If I was the King
She'd be my Queen
And my thoughts are growing louder
And my mind has lost its way
And the flames are getting higher ev'ryday
My mind is back behind my eyes
And there before me sits a butterfly
And as I watch, she gently cries (And as I watch, she gently cries)
Can there be anyone who'll pity her? (Who'll pity her?)
How many faces
Have all of you been?
If I was the King
She'd be my Queen
And my thoughts are getting louder
And my mind has lost its way
And the flames are getting higher ev'ryday
My mind is back behind my eyes
And there before me sits a butterfly
And as I watch, she gently cries (And as I watch, she gently cries)
Can there be anyone who'll pity her? (Who'll pity her?)
How many faces
Have all of you been?
If I was the King
She'd be my Queen
And my thoughts are getting louder
And my mind has lost its way
And the flames are getting higher ev'ry day
And the flames are getting higher ev'ry day
And the flames are getting higher ev'ry day

Get Real
Oh pity us here we angels of lead
We're dead, we're sick hanging by thread
Get real
Get real
You can't stop meaningful teenage cries
From deep behind fifty year old eyes
Get real
Get real
CHORUS
I'm scared to touch
Too tense to be undone
I walk the streets
Not expecting morning sun
Against the voice of doom
Failures fall all over town
I guess I should, I feel I should
Get real
Get real
What's up?
What happened when I wasn't around?
Who did what?
What went down?
Get real
Get real
Think about myself it happens to me
It happens in the tunnel when I let myself feel
Get real
Get real
CHORUS
I feel it all through breakdowns falling all over town
I feel I should, I guess I should
Get real
Get real
Get real
Get real
The dazzle of light
The rape of life
The seed, the curse
The jazz of life
Get real
Get real
Get real
Get real

The Poem Of All The Places I Have Never Been
THE POEM OF ALL THE PLACES I HAVE NEVER BEEN
The poem of all the places I have never been
The poem of all the dreams I have not seen
The poem of others poems written in lines I have never imagined
The poem of the infinite – what-is- not and ‘what- will- never- be
The poem of seas and suns and sounds and Shakespeare’s sonnets,
The poem of words and only words whose sounds do not mean what we feel
The poem of all I would not and cannot write
The poem that is not and never will be in me
The poem I do not write
The poem I am not
The poem lost
The poem which itself is not a poem
The poem of the last contradiction and the first
The poem beyond the poem hidden within the poem
The poem which will never be a poem
The poem which is not
The poem I cannot dream.

The Power
Mother Mary, Mother Mary
Mother Mary, please answer my prayers
I want to run free and I need you to be there
I'm going to take some chances I never took before
I've got to live my life and I'm going to risk it all
I look to the sky and suddenly I know
I've made up my mind, I'm never letting go
It's the power I want, it's the power I need
To make me run, to make me see for real
It's the power I want, to let me do what I feel
To make me run, to make me be for real
Unlike a miracle or a wish upon a star
The power to be me is all I need to start
To do things I'll never regret
and to leave the rest behind
It's the power I want, it's the power I need
To make me run, to make me see for real
It's the power I want, to let me do what I feel
To make me run, to make me be for real
It's the power I want, it's the power I need
To make me run, to make me see for real
It's the power I want, to let me do what I feel
To make me run, to make me be for real
You're the one to only help me
The only one, so help me, help me
Give it to me, to me, to me
Oh Mother Mary, please, please, please, please
Please just help and watch me shine
Then watch the power make me fly away
Mother Mary, Mother Mary
It's the power I want, it's the power I need
To make me run, to make me see for real
It's the power I want, to let me do what I feel
To make me run, to make me be for real
It's the power I want, it's the power I need
To make me run, to make me see for real
It's the power I want, to let me do what I feel
To make me run, to make me be for real

Pity, pity, pity
Look at to the unwanted child
Look at to the divorced wife
Look at to the homeless man
What people do other than saying
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the tragic hero
Look at to the sympathized villain
Look at to the clueless victim
What witnesses do other than staring
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the crazy dreamer
Look at to the unlucky gambler
Look at to the stubborn fighter
What friends do other than whispering
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the withering flower
Look at to the starving animal
Look at to the extinct nature
What human do other than howling
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the empty spaces
Look at to the blank faces
Look at to the lost traces
What devils do other than laughing
“Pity, pity, pity”

Guilt purrs action
When a man has been refused,
A woman feels pity for him
And loves him more than she did before.
When a mother has been neglected,
A son feels pity for her
And takes care more than he did before.
When a child has been beaten,
The mother feels pity for it
And pampers more than she did before.
Guilt purrs action; pity brings love

A Womans Worth
You could buy me diamonds , you could buy me pearls
Take me on a cruise around the world
Baby you know Im worth it
Dinner lit by candles, run my bubble bath
Make love tenderly to last and last
Baby you know Im worth it
Wanna please wanna keep wanna treat your woman right
Not just told but to show she is worth your time
You will lose if you choose to refuse to put her first
She will if she cant find a man who knows her worth, mhmn
Cuz a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man aint afraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just cant deny a womans worth
If you treat me fairly Ill give you all my goods
Treat you like a real woman should
Baby I know your worth it
If you never play me , promise not to bluff
Ill hold it down when it gets ruff
Baby I know your worth it
She rolls the mile makes you smile all the while being true
Dont take for granted the passion that she has for you
You will lose if you choose to refuse to put her first
She will if she cant find a man who knows her worth. oh
Cuz a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man aint afraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just cant deny a womans worth
No need to read between the lines, spell it out for you
Just hear this song cuz you cant go wrong when you value
A woman,woman,woman, a womans worth
Cuz a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man aint fraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just cant deny a womans worth
Cuz a real man knows a real woman when he sees her
And a real woman knows a real man aint fraid to please her
And a real woman knows a real man always comes first
And a real man just cant deny a womans worth

That Pity B-Gone!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
We knew that pity had to split!
B-gone.
We knew that our hearts would split, and soon...
B-gone.
If we let that pity sit,
Between us....
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit,
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit...
Between us!
And...
You'd believe,
That I could never love you.
To leave me feeling sorry,
And blue.
But...
I would know,
How deep inside my love goes.
And protecting what I love,
Before it overflows.
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
So...
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And maybe not so much the benefits.
Since I would miss too much your many moods.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone!

In Those Old Days
You may be tough.
But your approach to solicit,
My empathy and pity...
Could have been easier to get,
Without your demanding it.
But I do understand,
The competition you're up against.
And if I may make a suggestion...
You should put that gun away.
Since my first reaction,
Is not empathy with pity for you at all.
'It isn't real.'
Which?
The gun?
Your wish for empathy and pity?
Or my fear?
'Why can't you just co-operate,
And give me what I want? '
Trust me.
I'm going to give you exactly what you need.
Now that I know that gun isn't real.
'The gun IS real.
My need for empathy and pity isn't.
Thank you.
All I wanted was a decent conversation.
You were the only one I spotted,
Not texting or using a cellphone.
You have no idea how difficult it is for me,
To communicate like I did in the old days.'
So you are using a gun to do it?
'Hey...
What can I say.
I'm open for your suggestions.'
Good.
Give me the gun.
And I'll show you what I would have done.
'What are you going to do? '
Communicate my feelings,
Like I use to do in those old days.
And trust me...
You will know immediately,
Just what my feelings are.

For A Friend Who Is Also Struggling Out There
it is still 3 o'clock in the afternoon. iT is raining heavily
outside as we still keep busy with our own business
inside this courtroom.
two lawyers arguing on a point. I am listening.
the accused sits there, his life is at stake.
the mother is tense. two mothers.
THE mother of the complainant
who cries that her daughter is a victim
of rape. The mother of the accused who rebuts
that his son is just framed-up by the real
culprits who are still-at-large.
the glass windows of the court
muted the sound of the heavy rain.
but the way the trees are swaying to and fro
like a pendulum of a grandfather's clock
very well tells that there is a bad weather
outside this courtroom.
a river of faces faces me. i look at the eyes
of the room, the windows cased in glass
as the rain is maimed wanting to get in
as though trying to say that it has also
something to say about the matters
discussed inside this closed room.
the world is always asking, what is the truth?
it reminds us, there is only one truth and the
rest are lies. I keep on trying to learn from it.
the argument has always been:
everyone is a victim, and no one wins this game
of a legal play. sometimes the guilty is set free
and the innocent is put to prison.
there will be cries of the wind. In a closed court
like this, one cannot really hear the sound of its cries.
I am trying to figure out. Each word. The words of the
wind and the muted sounds of the rain.
THE hammer shall fall and it shall fall heavily.
Can this poem help me? Are emotions aids?
Many mouths shall shape the words. Each lip makes
a reading of itself. There will be whispers and murmurs.
There will be calls and cries and hounding sounds.
I sleep at night soundly. My conscience shall be my pillow.
There will be dreams handed to me by the gods.
As i write this, think also of my own journey, my own sorrows.
In the battles outside and inside us, a closed room vis-a-vis
the outside cries of the wind and the rain, i want to simply tell you, , ,
keep moving on. We move on too, with our own busy lives.

Tied Up And Swallowed
Written by: r. robinson & c. robinson
I forgot i found you tied up and swallowed
A mess with the magic and the knot
You touch my teeth and say you like the way i bite ya
Sin, skin, sounds wrong but it's not
Chorus:
Everybody says that you're such a pity
Well baby, they, they out to know
Everybody says you're such a pity
Tell ya baby, they, they out to know
Touch from up above and touch between your legs
But which one, baby, burns
So you've been touched so many times so many ways
Come on baby, who gets hurt

See ya

Execute The Sounds
I'm on a mad style
Underground, we come cool and deadly
With that natural sound
It make you feel so free, you no turn it down
Vibe 6-19 from the Southtown
And Jah know, what I and I wanna do
Because Jah know, I am man stay true
You know Jah know, the real who is who
Ain't no time to fake it, make ya feel brand new
It goes 1,2,3. The crew is called P.O.D.
And if you wanna go to the tip top
Break it down, with that one drop - Whyoo
Execute the sounds, and positive come around
Impact the sounds, positive all around
Execute the sounds, and positive come around
Impact the sounds, positive all around
Now why mess me, try to take his crown.
Babylon test me, we gonna smash em down
Original O.G. this is my playground
Don't take me seriously, you gonna feel it now
I man, you know the harder they come
Because I man, I'm gonna get the job done
You know I man, no they don't want none
Me never have to cheat cause me already won.
19'04, home to the real hardcore.
And you don't wanna sleep, don't talk
I'll break you down with that one drop - Whyoo
Execute the sounds, and positive come around
Impact the sounds, positive all around
Execute the sounds, and positive come around
Impact the sounds, positive all around
Execute the sounds, and positive come around
Impact the sounds, positive all around

Music Sounds Better With You Lyrics (ft. Mann)
i tried to write this down
the words just don't come out
it's hard to say how you feel
been down the longest road
said yes when i meant no
i lost control of the wheel
cause you know that
things get so bad
you've got my back
make me wanna sing, and girl i'll sing about ya
no sweeter sound than what i've found
no perfect love could be more perfect than us
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
i used to think that love
was something fools made up
cause all i knew was heartbreak
oh, i couldn't help myself
let this heart go through hell
there's only so much a heart can take
cause you know that
things get so bad
you've got my back
make me wanna sing, and girl i'll sing about ya
no sweeter sound than what i've found
no perfect love could be more perfect than us
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
every song
every rhyme
every word
is better with you(music sounds better with you)
every day (every day)
all of the time (all of the time)
every way
music sound better with you
she's my music enhancer
when the music plays she's my dancer
when i'm around her everything's faster
every question i have she's the answer
i'm head over heels
can't explain that this all so real
when i'm around you baby you make me feel like
everything's better with you
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
the music sounds better with you
music sounds better with you

I Pity You
I pity you when you walk down the street
I pity you when you open your mouth to speak
You will tell your story, with its pity and glory
As sympathy is all that you do seek.
I pity you and your parents dear
I pity you when from you they don’t want to hear
As you put them to blame, for your sadness and pain
That’s why for you no-one will shed a tear.
I pity you when you laugh and smile
I pity you as your life is full of guile
But you are the source, for your sadness and remorse
And you wont change even when walking your last mile.
I pity you as you once had something
I pity you as now you have nothing
You threw everything away, so you could stray
Now your retribution will be coming.
I pity you as with time you will age
I pity you with your hate and your rage
You will always fight, whether you are wrong or right
You are the animal and your soul is your cage
I pity you and I do it without a clue
I pity you whenever I see or hear of you
There is no sympathy, as your not my friend or enemy
And all I can say is, that I truly pity you.

Too Lazy To Work Hollow Accusation Angers
an incredibly poignant poem
written with touch of insight mastered
be cries hopelessness diseased
where in this desolation desert
inhumanity indifferent souls parched
is compassion for broken hearted
where is Jesus cries lady who split her nail?
my Porsche has a scratch cries wronged husband?
tragedy internet down cries gamester addicted?
Jesus walks weeps with third world
poets parents poverty in famine desert
as they carry their children dying?
because compassion a few coins
milk honey surplus nations civilized
to starvation desert never donated?
wells were never deep pity drilled
to provide supply living life waters
to grow crops provide daily bread?
stench poverty is rotting flesh gags
stripped bare rib cages litter ground
hopelessness bile bites in air hangs
nameless neglected die in indicted millions
too lazy to work hollow accusation angers God
blood innocence screams justice in desert sand
but blood race religion country culture is not
to your liking you do not know their names
their suffering not real flickers across tv news
bored with tragedy pictures turn off news
change channels laugh with comedy latest
until recession strikes rebukes hard hearts
blessings safe secure employment houses
flash shiny new cars now from you stripped
count blessing you watch not children dying

Get Up Off That Pity Pot
Why don't you,
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
Why don't you get up off that pot.
Why don't you get up off that pot.
Why don't you,
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
Why don't you get up off that pot.
Why don't you get up off that pot.
No need to keep weeping tears,
That long ago overflowed.
Why don't you,
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
Holding onto woes,
Have eroded your motives.
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
So wipe your eyes to dry,
And realize...
You are not alone.
You're not alone.
You are not alone.
You're not alone.
Get up!
Off your butt!
And realize...
You are not alone.
You're not alone.
You are not alone.
You're not alone.
Get up!
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
You need to get up off that pot.
Why don't you get up off that pot.
Why don't you,
Get up off that pity pot...
You've sat on quite a lot.
You need to get up off that pot.
Why don't you get up off that pot,
And stop those woes to drop.

Baby, I'm For Real
Ooh...wee...ooh...
Baby, baby, you don't understand
How much I love you, baby
How much I want to be
Your only man, oh, baby, my baby, my baby
And baby, baby, baby, you don't have to go
Stay a little while longer, baby
I want to talk to you
Just a little more
I see the tears in your eyes about to fall
You are wondering if I'm for real
Oh, but if you cry, I wonder why you cry
I tell you no lie, this is how I feel
You need to, baby, I'm for real
So real, baby, baby, baby, baby, girl
And baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, you don't have to go
Stay a little while longer, baby, hold me, baby, love me, baby, yeah, yeah, yeah
This is how I feel about your love, yeah
But if you cry, I wonder why you cry
I tell you, tell you no lie, this is how I feel
Oh, now, baby, now, baby, now, baby, yeah
Baby, I'm for real (I'm for real)
You know (I'm for real)
You know, you know, you know, you know, you know
(Baby, I'm for real)
You know I'm not lyin' to you, baby
I would never, never tell you a lie about my love
(Baby, I'm for real)
I'm so for real, I'm so for real, I'm, I'm real, I'm real
But if you wanna know the truth about it
Girl, I just can't live without it
And that's why I'm professin' my love to you, baby
So that I can live my whole life with you
And baby, baby, baby
Never, never, never gonna leave you, baby
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh, baby, I'm for real
(Baby, I'm for real)
Wipe the tears from your eyes
Now you won't have to cry, no
(Baby, I'm for real)
And darling, hey, hey, baby
Take to the sky on a natural high
Lovin' you more till the die I die
Take to the sky on a natural high
Lovin' you, kissin' you, tellin' you why
(Baby, I'm for real)
Oh, you need to know, you need to know, oh
Baby, I'm for real
(Baby, I'm for real)
Wipe the tears from your eyes
Now you won't have to cry, no, no
Ooh...yeah
