Who You Are And Who I Am
who you are
depends on your choices day by day
moment by moment
and so too
as to who i am
depends on what i take and what i spit out
from my mouth
it is this responsibility of choosing
i make and unmake myself
i love and unlove
i assemble and disassemble
the parts of me until
i find myself whole again
you too, and then we,
we take the responsibility of taking the risks
of a commitment
something that we can say
this is worth living
and this is worth dying for

Life Is Worth Living
The road before you stretches long and wide.
So journey on with pride.
At times you'll hit a slide.
The crusade can be wild.
Give it all you've got,
and you won't have lost.
The risks are great.
The fruits of your labor make the rewards even greater.
Life is worth living.
You've got to be strong.
Though it may seem a long way.
You'll find what you're looking for.
As you fight this war.
Remember who you are.
Treat all you meet with love and kindness.
Don't be discreet.
At the journeys end.
Your wounds will mend.
You can say your life depends.
Caring for all the big and small.
You'll have shown that adversity can't make you crawl.
So enjoy this life.
Get past all the strife.
It's worth all the experiences that you'll have.

There Are No Minutes Kept Backed Up
There are no minutes kept backed up,
To put aside to decide to live them.
There are no minutes that can be stored as such,
For one to decide life is worth living.
There are no minutes kept backed up.
None one can say they have wrapped up.
There is no one on Earth with that much luck...
To decide when their life is worth the living.
People think they should be shown some proof,
That a life they live is worth the living.
While they isolate themselves locked up in coops,
To decide that a life they live is worth the living.
While awaiting for someone to approve what they do,
That a life given to them is worth the living.
With a choosing of every move...
Excusing some choices while others are removed.
To clarify that a life they live is worth the living.

Awareness Notes...
what we are talking about today
is living in awareness, the costs
of our actions and inactions, and
not being owned by the things we possess.
what it comes down to is responsibility,
and the vision and knowledge to make
good choices.... conscious living.
living with respect... for all living
beings, for the costs and results of
our own actions... for every breath
that goes into each moment, for every
sacrifice that goes into meeting each need!

I Am Missing
Sharp disaster in a fresh new coma
Was worth it when it was over
Proving yourself right
You'd make the biggest noise
Well I'd lock my hands behind my head
I'd cover my heart and hit the deck
I'd brace myself for the impact if I were you
(Its a long wait) is there anything
(For an answer) worth looking for
(Is there any news) worth loving for
(Is there any word) worth lying for
(Is there trauma) is there anything
(Or a struggle) worth waiting for
(Am I missing) worth living for
(Was the body found) worth dying for

Wasted
it's very hard
to have the courage
to find a cause worth
dying for....
it's just as hard,
and takes just as much
courage and commitment...
to find a cause worth
living for...
too many of us
take the road inbetween,
and our lives are wasted!

The Split Moment Between..
the split moment between, when the tide comes in, and the tide goes out... that is god! the split moment between, the tears of a child, and the body of the old man being buried, that is god! the split moment between, the firing of the big guns, and the laying down of weapons, that is god! the split moment between, the firing of the revolver, and the prison door clanging shut, that is god! the split moment between, ejaculation and childbirth, that is god! the split moment between, the rise of a civilization, and its downfall, that is god! the split moment between, remorse, repentence, responsibility, and prayer, that is god! the split moment between, falling in love, and saying goodbye, that is god! the split moment between, nakedness and truth, that is god! the split moment between, loss and giving, that is god! the split moment between, darkness and dawn.... well you know!

Snail Crossing..... (Part Thirteen)
i've never had any desire to be rich....
like millions of people...
all i've asked is the right to work,
to have food and shelter for my family,
to have just a little time
to do what matters to me...
to be honest and giving,
to celebrate tiny moments,
to love and be loved,
and to go deep inside, and search.
determined to help anyone i can,
in whatever small way...
always willing to listen,
always ready to learn.
working every moment to be open minded,
taking responsibility for my mistakes,
and my failures...
drunk on the act of living,
at peace,
both with life, and with death.
honored to be a friend,
to have companions...
and to fight every day,
to make this dream become real.
angered by hunger,
prejudice and indifference.
moment by moment becoming aware,
chanting equality and dignity....
and most of all, human!

A World Revolving Around Your Hands.....
one day
a moment arrives
sounding like a
total stranger
it is ready with
a back pack
for you
that moment tells you
this is not your world
look at the bruises in
your face
the wounds on your feet
that do not heal
the falling hair
stinking odor of the
fluids from your ear
then it will tell you
what to do
that there is a process
of release
which will be painful
but only for a while
you ask
what is the payment?
at whose expense?
the consequences and risks
that moment turns its face
away
humiliated about your
questions
it is bizarre
but many have succumbed
and fallen
to the trap of the moment
you said at the last moment
thank you
it is uncertain
and it is not worth it
when that moment leaves
you affirm a world
it is still revolving around
your hands.

Had Rumsfeld said at any time 'get me a report on what's going on', he could have had it. You're right, it depends on choices that we make, which parts of the world we want to be in immediate contact with.

So Much Depends As I Once Remember It Then
so much depends
upon a swirl
of paints
of yellow
and green
and violet
so much depends
upon the silence
of the plow
so much depends
upon the farmer
still
so much depends
upon your
vanishment.

Choose The Happiness
What the happiness is all about
Choices that comes across your life
Catch the right one and be aware
When your turn comes not to lose your way
Don't let it pass you by
Catch the happiness while it's around
This is what the happiness is all about
Choosing your path to the love
Dough it's ways are narrow and hard
This is what the love is all about
Choosing The way to happiness and faith
Or walking through the saddest path
Even in your darkest day
Smile and you'll find your way
To the light
This is what the life is all about
What the life is all about
Choosing the happiness or not
Regardless what your reason is
Just walk ahead and forget your fears
God is there at the end of the path
It depends how long you can survive
Sacrificing blindly for the love
This is what the love is all about

Say Somethin'
I'm over here
Looking at you
You're over there
Watching me too
Both painting pictures of
Of how we'll kiss and hug
So what we gonna do?
(So what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do?)
Tell me why we're standing here
The moment's passion's all so clear
You've got my mind blown
And baby, I'm ready to go
But uhh
If it's worth your while
Say something, say something
If it's worth your while
Say something good to me
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey
If it's worth your while
Do something good to me
(Let's make it)
Hot as you can stand it
Something like volcanic
You know it seems organic
Just like the stars and planets
Yeah, we are
So what you gonna do?
(So what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do?)
Tell me why we're still in here
There's nothing for us to fear
I could tell with my eyes closed
Now baby, I'm ready to go
But uhh
If it's worth your while
Say something, say something
If it's worth your while
Say something good to me
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey
If it's worth your while
Do something good to me.
If it's worth your while
Say something, say something
If it's worth your while
Say something good to me, baby
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey
If it's worth your while
Do something good to me.

Everytime I fall though
Want me to speak on the word or two
It's the D-O-double-G
And I do it so lovingly
Diggin this track by the Neptunes
Babygirl, follow me to the west room
Now get buck wild
Shhh, don't make a sound
I'll take you, lay you down
Make your body go round and round
Do you want me to?
Don't say you won't
I know you do
Most girls play shy
It won't hurt until you give it a try
I know you like my smile
Dig my style, dig the bow-wow
But uhh
If it's worth your while
Say something, say something
If it's worth your while
Say something good to me
Hey, hey, hey

Love Is The Most Important
It's sadness in the world, despair, pain,
Nothing is easy, nothing is certain,
Only the sea, the sun and the sky makes me happy and i think,
That's worthy to fight and for life to win.
Nothing is lost because i have lived one more day,
Was worth the effort to still make hopes,
In all that exists is a destiny,
That happens in the fated moment.
Don't despair, dont be afraid of,
Everything has a path and scope,
The answer will come when you'll need to know,
Only you need to hope, to believe and to love.
Because life without a dropp of hope,
Couldnt surpass the fear and the failure,
And only from it depends i guess
The peace, the balance and the success.
And from all these, love is the most important,
It gives us daily the power to live and fight
It is the life engine, the peace of the world,
It's the desire to be each moment alive.

Partnership
It depends on if you are serious.
I can only show I am...
If you say you are.
It depends on if you are serious.
If you are not...
We can just dropp this.
It depends on if you are serious.
I can only show I am...
If you say you are.
It depends on if you are serious.
If you are not...
We can just dropp this.
'Is that it?
No whispers or kisses?
With advancements started...
To tease then to dismiss? '
Like I said...
It depends on if you are serious.
If you are not...
We can just dropp this.
I am on a mission.
I would like to have partnership.
But if you are not completely into it...
Why would I wish to be into you?

How Many, How Much
How many slams in an old screen door?
Depends how loud you shut it.
How many slices in a bread?
Depends how thin you cut it.
How much good inside a day?
Depends how good you live 'em.
How much love inside a friend?
Depends how much you give 'em.
