the world if you see it
in the garden, in its simplified forms
of leaves
wet with rain
of birds resting below them
of waters running from the gutter
and spurting
like a vomit of the past
and the surging of the rain
like the memories
like the ramblings of the day
if you only see the world
when you stop
and put your fist on your chin
when you sit
alone on an old ancestral chair
and simply be silent like
a rug on the door
away from the dog
and the wagging tails and the
cats and the noisy scratches on the walls

I’m in this world all alone

And every morning before Im awake
I walk around the world to make sure shes alright
And every evening fore I bolt the door
I give the stars a stir to make sure they will spin all night
For I see people who will scratch and spit and kick and fight
And I see nations war about whether right is left and whether wrong is right
And I know storms inside your head can amplify the blight

The door creeps open to expose
A world that is unknown to most.

My morning starts
With teardrops in my eyes

The curious cat
As I walk down the street it's there all the time
just sitting there still as can be at the window
this beautiful looking Black shiny cat.
And when I walk back past the cats house
it's still there sitting staring out at it's world.
Now and then I stop and stare back at it
the cats feline eyes looking curiously at me
I wonder what it's thinking and seeing.
