we got sunshine in the Philippines
we finally got sunshine
after the rain
it is a beautiful showering
morning after a
night of storm
we got yellow brick roads
and confetti
we are a happy people
now
the voice of God
has spoken

Morning
(nana cayammi / gilberto gil / norma tanega)
The morning it is sad
The morning so beautiful
The sunshine it is sad
The sunshine no friend of mine
You awake
It is day
As you go from me away
The morning it is sad
The morning so beautiful
So, alone I will stay
The daylight takes you away
So I wait til good night
Begins to end the daylight
The daytime, the daybreak
The dawning
Come away, until day
Come away with me my love
Come away, until day
Come away and sing the night
The morning it is sad
The morning so beautiful
The sunshine it is sad
The sunshine no friend of mine
You awake it is day
As you go from me away
The morning it is sad
The morning so beautiful

Shes My Kind Of Rain
Shes my kind of rain
Like love in a drunken sky
Shes confetti falling
Down all night
She sits quietly there
Black water in a jar
Says, baby why are you
Trembling like you are
So I wait
And I try
I confess like a child
Shes my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
Shes my kind of rain
Shes the sun set shadows
Shes like rembrandts light
Shes the history thats made at night
Shes my lost companion
Shes my dreaming tree
Together in this brief eternity
Summer days, winter snows
Shes all things to behold
Shes my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
Shes my kind of rain
So I wait
And I try
I confess all my crimes
Shes my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
Shes my kind of rain
Shes my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
Shes my kind of rain
Shes my kind of rain
Oh, rain on me
Shes my kind of rain

Higher Praise Song
The morning has broken
Very early each day
That we live our lives
And we want to thank God for this beautiful morning
That he gave to us already
And we have the whole day to enjoy this day
We are very happy because it is warm outside
But there is no sign of rain in the sky
And that also makes me happy
Now I take a look in the sky
And I see all the birds flying high in the sky
But they fly so beautiful in the sky
Now the sunsets are coming
And the sun is going down
But the night will be here soon
And we are going to praise God for the night today

I Got The Sun In The Morning
Taking stock of what I have and what I haven't
What do I find?
The things I got will keep me satisfied
Checking up on what I have and what I haven't
What do I find?
A healthy balance on the credit side
Got no diamond
Got no pearl
Still I think I'm a lucky girl
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
Got no mansion
Got no yacht
Still I'm happy with what I got
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
Sunshine
Gives me a lovely day
Moonlight
Gives me the Milky Way
Got no checkbooks
Got no banks
Still I'd like to express my thanks
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
And with the sun in the morning
And the moon in the evening
I'm all right
[2]
Got no mansion
Got no yacht
Still I'm happy with what I got
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
Got no silver
Got no gold
What I got can't be bought or sold
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
Sunshine
Gives me a lovely day
Moonlight
Gives me the Milky Way
Got no checkbooks
Got no banks
Still I'd like to express my thanks
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
And with the sun in the morning
And the moon in the evening
I'm all right
[3]
Sunshine
Gives me a lovely day
Moonlight
Gives me the Milky Way
Got no heirlooms
For my kin
Made no will but when I cash in
I leave the sun in the morning and the moon at night
And with the sun in the morning
And the moon in the evening they're all right

It's A Beautiful Morning Outside:
Beautiful - beautiful morning outside,
Bright with the sunshine and glows in the sky.
Birdies are singing and dewdrops are falling:
It's a beautiful morning outside.
Day after day in this wonderful way,
Nature is showing its wonderful face,
With sunshine at mornings, and cheers every where;
It is morning again in this world.
I was eager in heaven to go on a stroll;
It was mother who who showed me this wonderful world,
With radiance and sunshine and glory to all;
I forgot the heavens the place of my soul.
Now that I am grown up a man in this world,
I will sing to the glory of God's given love.
I will look to the sunshine for youth and for joy,
For sunshine brings morning to all.

On A Night Like This I Wish It Would Rain.
ON a night like this i wish it would rain.To me rain means washing all the hurt and sadness away. When it rains I can't help but to smile. On a night like this I wish it would rain.If i'm being pressured or if I fill I can't breath the rain washes it all away.No thunder or storm just pure rain. When I look out the window I smile just because the rain is such a beautiful sight to see it satisfy my inner tomb, it's just so beautiful and cleansing. When i'm being pressured and under the weather, on a night like this I wish it would rain!

You Came To Me In Serenity (Rondeau Redouble)
You came to me in serenity as someone beautiful and gay,
that morning was hot full of sunshine and bright
and all my fears and tears were swept away
while you stayed right through the night.
You were happy, and it was sheer magic despite
the stupid things that I did at times say,
before we laid next to the glowing firelight.
You came to me in serenity as someone beautiful and gay,
where we looked at the wind on the lake in rippling circles play
while the waves were very tiny and without might
on a tranquil, calm awesome day,
that morning was hot full of sunshine and bright
with doves fluttering in their cooing flight
and in the sky there was nothing black or grey,
only the sparkling bluest sight
and all my fears and tears were swept away.
When a storm had risen with foaming spray,
with gigantic waves crushing threatening and white,
something special happened on a rainy winter day in May
while you stayed right through the night.
My love here now I give you my plight,
that even if from me you do stray
if you somehow run away in fright
I will still remember and say:
you came to me in serenity.

Beautiful Is..
Beautiful is..
The money plant having drops of dew
The stars lit night with moon blue
Beautiful is..
A chubby child's cherubic smile
The rain drops which wet a mile
Beautiful is..
The rainbow in the sky above
The early morning chirping of doves
Beautiful is..
The inimitable serenity of sea
The first kiss under a tree
Beautiful is..
The yellow butterfly on a red rose
And yes may be this little prose.
Rising
Rising
On the stream of music
When the dawn shines again new,
From the twilight
From the dark;
Coming through - the rays of light,
Sunshine - sunshine!
Sparkling glisten
Fire steams,
Growing light - beyond the dark;
Red and yellow
Sparkling sparkles,
Twisting shadows
To the deep!
Shades of tempers
Lights of amber,
Orange red and hot!
Flowing like the water
In the blood of fire!
Sparking glisten!
Sparking glisten!
Through the night
Of eternal space,
Through the haze
Of starry rays…
Morning comes and softens the night,
Morning gives the sparkling day.
Sunshine - sunshine!
Shades of tempers,
Sunshine - sunshine!
Beyond the night,
Sunshine - sunshine!
Traveler in dark!
Nirvana,
Haunt me not,
From your dwelling!

Birth Of A Star
brick upon brick,
every action a wave,
every thought, every desire,
every dream an ending,
and a beginning...
every word spoken
clothing countless words
unsaid, not conceived.
every touch a grain of sand
on an unknown beach.
every fire built in the night
finally swallowed by darkness...
darkness unto darkness,
and only memory ignites
the birth of a star!

Rain To Beautiful Colors
Rain thousands of drops falling
Like tears of sadness
Showering down like grains of salt being poured
Or the sands of an hour glass
The grass, dirt and plants desire it
People we dismiss it with hatred
Fills our river, creeks and lakes
Makes a muddy mess in our houses
We sing songs to make come and go
The smell of fresh rain is fishy
But a pleasant scent later on
The brown plants turn to green
The rain and the sun makes them grow
Thunder rolls thru the sky like bowling alleys
The lighting give a beautiful light show, sometimes scary
But we all watch it from inside
Storms move quickly, some violent a lot not
We watch big eyes like children in a candy storm
Rain comes and goes, but the world needs its so
Why do we hate it so much,
To make our day gloomy and gray
When really its colorful and beautiful
The big rainbow that is in the sky
Beautiful rain bring lovely colors of life

The Yellow Ribbon On The Old Oak Tree
who can forget the yellow ribbon
on that old oak tree? tell me.
tomorrow, i shall wear my yellow cap
my yellow shirt, my yellow brief,
my yellow pants.
my jaundiced eye, my golden yellow ring.
tomorrow, in my country, the sky is yellow.
all steps lead to the yellow brick road.
all fruits are ripe and mellow and yellow.
Tomorrow, the country is yellow.
Yellow for integrity, Yellow for change.
Yellow for justice. Yellow for truth.
One day more, and the sun shall rise
Yellow as ever.Yellow forever.

Night Through Morning
I rose in the night
walked to the forest
when the morning breezes
blew and the sun rose
I rose in the night
in the darken shadows
I take a rock and stone
and walk through the night
I have stop and took
the forest and walked there.
At nigth I can see the dawn
of the morning
When the morning breezes
I can see the where I always wanted to be
i can feel the wind and refeshing air
blew came and makes me happy
when the morning came
the sun rose when the morning breezes
Refreshing air came, its a beautiful rising
Sun, your my only sunshine in the morning

Haunting
Sit down on that stool hear the cant of a fool
And a strange tale Ill impart to ye
Of a time that I lived at the buff of a hill
neath the burial chambers you see
One saturday night I got up on my bike
To go to a dance in the town
I set off at seven to be there at eleven
No thought of the rain coming down
As I pushed up the hill the rain started to spill
So for shelter I had to resort
Helter skelter I went as downhill I sped
To the trees at the old fairy fort
I pulled up my bike be a tree in the gripe
To find shelter out of the storm
The rain it came down and like stones beat the ground
But it was grand to be dry in that storm
I was dreaming away about better days
When a voice it says dirty ould night
I fell over me bike I got such a fright
When the ghostly voice bid me the night
I jumped up with a start gave the storm not a thought
As the hail beat a rhythm on me
And I stared at the tree that had spoken to me
Not a body was there I could see
The voice I had heard not another word said
As the hair on the head stood on me
And I said an our father as I peddled much faster
Away from that ghost haunted tree
For weeks and weeks after with nerves a disaster
Nowhere near that road would I go
And from dusk through the night I would shake with the fright
Of the tree that had haunted me so
Now whenever I go to a dance in the town
I make sure not to stop on the way
To be there for eleven I still leave at seven
But I go by a different way

when i write about beauty
i always have the
sunflower in mind
and the sun
and the soft winds from the evergreen mountains
i will add some chromatic butterflies
and a very beautiful morning
like some petals of
red roses
and i will also think of tiny round leaves
like drops of rain
showering
falling on
the spreading patches of glimpses
of grass
and then when everything beautiful is in their proper places
with matching colors
bright
and scents all pleasing to my senses and emotions
like to dance
with the wind and rays of the sun
when feelings are so tranquil like a very calm sea
on an early morning
when everything now is so lovely
there
then
will i invite you,
come, my friend!
come, my love!
i will be here
waiting for you
it will be beautiful indeed!

The Morning Sunshine
Wait til the morning sunshine
Wait til the morning sunshine
Feels like another day, I wouldnt know
My loves away, from home today
Wait til the morning sunshine
Wait til the morning sunshine
Its just the memory, of sunshine
In the morning, being close to me
And it was.....
Wait til the morning sunshine
Wait til the morning sunshine
Seems like the world is late, for I cant wait
For sunshine in the morning
Wait til the morning sunshine
Wait til the morning sunshine

The next sunshine.
Sunshine.
I had found the key to live longer, and that is to live every step of this life very careful, because it can be your last.
I was thinking that whenever I got to heaven (if I go!) they going to be so jealous that I found happiness in my life, I mean I would not complain that my life was not good but I was not able to see a new sunshine on it.
Hey! They say that when it rain and pours we can’t see the beautiful sunshine of the morning light, welcoming us to a new day, I’m here saying good bye to you my good friend, so long and I wish that you can find peace at last.
So I know you and most of the people who I love will be waiting for me, so we all together can see the next sunshine.
